✓ Bot riggedAlmost every game has bots in it and they almost always win. It’s set up for you to lose. The bots get matches while any real players are still sitting there with a bad hand. This hasn’t just happened once. It happens almost every game. Buy coins and you’ll win for a while. Then they will beat you constantly until you have to buy more. Don’t waste your time and certainly don’t buy coins. It’s a ripoff!.Version: 6.3.10
✓ Why Does It....Cost so much to play a game? As much as I like Rummykub, I find this version so frustrating. I was down to under a 1000 chips so bought 50,000 more. The more chips I have, the more it costs to play a game. First it went from 50,000 to 43,000 for one game and then the next game went down to 33,000. When I had under 10,000, it took out less and less. It would be nice if Peak games would have a more comprehensive game description other than the meager FAQ sheet. Also, as a new player, how is it I end up in a room with players who have played well over a 1,000 games. For this dear developers, whose other games I have, you only get ONE star from me. ✓ I love rummy but…It only places me with bots, I can’t play any other room than beginners. It’s kind of lame. I’ve been playing their gin rummy app for 6+ years and I’ve caught onto knowing the bots have stock photos of people. You download the game free, but instantly asked to "buy" (with real money) chips. You can't even join a game, play single player or any other option except "need 500 chips to play". ✓ Horrible customer serviceI enjoy the game play, but I play connected to WiFi. None of my other devices seem to glitch out, but this app loses connection so much and causes me to lose coins. I have complained about this. They never want to reimburse my coins. They always just say nothing appears to be wrong on their end. I have lost well over 2million coins on this error and they don’t want to make it right. There are so many other versions of this game, your only hurting yourself. ✓ HORRIBLE Customer ServiceAs you progress in the game you get blocked from rooms but there is no rhyme or reason and customer service can't give me an answer. It makes sense that you wouldn't be allowed in the beginner rooms but after buying tokens you'll get blocked from the more advanced one too but only sometimes. I literally will be blocked from the "Pro" room because "my skills are too advanced" then will be allowed in 5 minutes later after I've won another game. The response I get from customer service is very frustrating, it's like they've never played their game. I updated my iPhone just in case and it still didn’t help. There is no place,to get help. I tried app support, first of all that game did not show up. After awhile you can but then it goes NOWHERE. ✓ The bots have gotten ridiculousIt’s not even fun to play anymore cause the bots are ridiculous and the moves they make are cheating. They have 2 sets laid down and the next draw they pick up one card that allows them to play off of 3 other sets on the board that have been down for several turns. ✓ Life ban with sister with cancer no helpMy sister and I got banned for life. She has cancer and she enjoys paying with me on line. She did a room with just us and instead of 5 ooo it showed 50,000. So we stopped to change it. It said chip transfer banned for life . (I had no clue) after reading the new terms it mentioned it. Great game but needs a little empathy on banning maybe warnings should show up saying if happens again you will be banned for a month and on and on. I bought coins because I enjoyed the game initially, but whenever I log on, no players, wasted my money. You can play with four people but 95% of them are AI players, evident by their stock photos, you’re not fooling us app developers. The decks are clearly predetermined too, despite what they tell you, same is evident in their other app GinRummyPlus. Many people on online forums discussing the rigged decks. I have commented many times how one player shouldn’t go 7 times in a row and the opponent never goes first. That is an easy fix. You don’t care about the players. The game is rigged and the only ones who win is the company. You can’t advance in the winner club because you can never win. It doesn’t matter how much money you spend. ✓ Changed my review from a 5 star to a 1 starWas fun, run out of chips so brought 250k, used them up and then brought 600k but straight away it stopped me playing with a lower amount of money so now I am forced to play people on a much higher level than me and have virtually lost the lot. ✓ Is This Game A Fraud?In my opinion… you’d be better off to burn your money, rather than spend it buying chips in this app. I downloaded this game early on and was actually excited to play, but it quickly became clear to see this game is rigged against you. Sometimes I’d be in a game with people that had the same pictures/avatars and the same names. Sometimes they would have the same photographs and different names. Magically, when you buy a large chip package, you could no longer play in lower betting games. They’d put you in games where the jackpots would get significantly large several hundred thousand, but it was impossible to win them because mysteriously the “boss” left the room every game. ✓ Rigged gameI have been playing this game for a few months and have found time and time again that it is completely rigged. I doubt that a majority of players even exist as real people, probably generated fakes. When you reach a certain threshold of chips it locks you out of the lower buy in rooms and forces you to play in a harder room. YET... I will consistently be playing against players that have too many chips to be allowed into the room. E.g they have $1.2 million chips and will be playing in the amateur room - where I get locked anytime I reach anything above about $10,000 in chips. Therefore they should be locked out of the room, so why are they there? Any genuine player cannot enter the room. Can only be a fake player... It makes the game intentionally unfair and forces you to constantly use up all your chips as you are never playing someone at your level, and it forces you to bet really high. ✓ GarbageThis game will not post my review. It’s rigged! They won’t let you play in lower levels until you lose. Then, you will lose more games than you will win. Other players will get every card they need but you never get the card you need. Every round I play, my card ALWAYS get thrown out after it passed my turn. They let players determine if they want to continue playing. Why? If the player(s) didn’t want to play why join in the first place. I have several players do that if they have one set of matches down. You can’t hit on cards on the board when you throw your first matching set down. Have to wait until it comes back to you in order to do so! It’s very unfair! You can log in EVERYDAY and you get the same amount for daily bonus. I don’t understand! ✓ Professional rummy playing bots!I work graveyard and that being said there may not be many table options for me, so they load these bots in, which in theory I’m ok with that. What I’m not ok with is they don’t just beat me and take my coins they mop the floor with me, it’s not like playing with another person. I finally accumulated over 20,000 chips and have been thrown out of Amateur level and put into Sharks. Believe me, I am no Shark. I would like to know why when I was allowed in the Amateur level that there were plenty of players there who had played thousands of games and had chips in the high hundred thousands, but now I am blocked. ✓ Holding tilesRummy cube is one of the best games to play, until someone thought to improve their percentages of winning, by holding their tiles and going out all at once. This is not only unfair to all the players, it has changed the game to unenjoyable. If this game comes back, let’s play the game as it was meant to be played. Winning should not be that important to the players. If this happens, I would change the one star to five, but not as the game is played today..Version: 3.4.0
