✓ Good game butI really enjoy playing the game but the constant pop ups advertising the other games are getting really annoying, I’ve ended up in the app store many times by accident, I understand the need for advertising but it seems every couple of rooms you go in the pop up comes up, could you not give the option of purchasing an ad free game perhaps? or at the very least minimise the ads’ ?? This is what will eventually nake me stop playing the game..Version: 1.19.1900
✓ Good game, but some flawsI like this game most of the time. There are some things thar really bug me, e.g. the crystals game. The special events are very difficult to reach master in the time available to get the avatar, unless you buy extra of whatever item you need to play that location. ✓ Developers are skewing the game to bilk players!The crystals mini game is skewed to only let you get to the third level then it is impassable without having multiple “power tools” of every type to win every single game. They skew the statistics as well to inflate the success rate of that mini game with those of their expedition one to make the crystals game stats seem easy. This is not the usual gem or candy game that is passable on other sites. These developers are underhanded in their tracking of the game and in the game setup to force players (as much as they can) into spending money and apply even more pressure to do so by making special game events nearly solely dependent on playing and passing hundreds of crystals mini games to participate in the majority of the special event deals. They deliberately do this but make it seem like everyone has a fair chance which in such a rigged game only the wealthy can succeed. The developers are deceitful and practice the ultimate in poor gamesmanship or else they would revamp crystals for the masses by making it winnable like it’s contemporaries on other sites or offering a feature for a player to opt to level down..Version: 1.18.1803
✓ Way too expensiveI've read a lot of the reviews and see what they're talking about. Why is everything in"download queue"???? The game is great but soooo expensive I finally had to delete it then tonight I reinstalled and I get this download queue message and all things floating are covered in a black devil so you can't see what it is. I was addicted and spent a small fortune in a VERY short time but saw my bill and got a reality check resulting in getting rid of it. If you need those silly rubies for every other thing in order to progress to the next level then G5 needs to occasionally give them as a reward for completing something in half the time given or for not using the magnifying glass to help--something! This is just outrageously expensive to play. Too bad, too, because it is one of the best I've seen for a long while. Sorry G5, you lost a good customer with your greed. No more lining your coffers. Enough is enough!! Have deleted twice and go back. Spent TONS of money and it still doesn't give credit when collections are completed plus now it wants you fo visit or help friends in daily quests...I DONT want friends. ✓ APRIL UPDATEI totally agree with review by Bailey knows. I understand why you choose to show the banners as you have moved some rooms but to have them appear every time you touch the screen is frustrating. I suggest changing this so the banners come on ONLY when you load the game. I have also emailed twice now regarding fixing the friend help on the totems as I am unable to claim them since the upgrade PLEASE FIX. Love this game but this upgrade needs some tweaking. ✓ August 2019 update makes it difficult to playWhile I liked the update on the whole, I am struggling to play any scene now and, especially a scene with an anomaly. The lettering is huge and obscures the bottom of the scene screen completely, and the tools on the corner sides interfere with the clicking on the objects. Too many times I have wasted my tools by accidentally clicking on them instead on a located subject. Please, give us back the scenes layout we had before the update!.Version: 1.30.3001
✓ Fun but standardEnjoyable if you like hidden object games, the objects move and change so it stays relatively challenging. There are many, many aspects and tasks which tends to be a little bit of an overkill and can be a little unwieldy. You often don’t feel like you are getting anywhere, but this is common in these types of games. Can be played and enjoyed without paying extra also..Version: 1.18.1804
✓ ElremGreat game, really addictive and so enjoyable at first but gets so hard it is impossible to complete quests without purchasing tools. Such a shame I know the company have to make money but I would rather pay upfront than keep being prompted by special offers 78% off, Philosophers stone get double rubies etc. I unfortunately spent more than I could afford and so reluctantly I am forced to delete it. ✓ Poor Progress updateI enjoy the game, but lately one particular mini game - the vault is now totally unplayable. Just so you have to buy tools to play it. Also I play on both the G5 website and my iPad, but I lose a lot of progress when switching from one to the other - very significant loss of progress. ✓ YeahI like the game, and have been playing a while. However I find some of the scenes become too repetitive and it takes a ridiculous amount of goes to find 1 artefact. I think the highest was between 15-20 goes of one scene…. Like why? I also find the older scenes a bit meh and difficult to like the more artefacts are added to find. I’m sick of how my new Halloween area is constantly in night mode and I have used all my lighters just trying to stay up with things... ✓ Beautiful graphics, Burke save your money.Like most other online games, they give you just enough to pique your interest and then cha-ching, pay us. In this game, there is no clear path forward, so you have no clue what you need to do next. There’s way too many concurrent challenges, and you can get only so far in the game where if you’re not prepared to fork over a lot of cash, you’re dead in the water. It isn’t humanly possible to make this many hidden finds in the short amount of time allotted; many of the hidden objects are additionally hidden again, so you are constantly clicking around on “wrong” spots and penalized time. Some of the mini challenges require extra cash. Too bad because the storyline is interesting; like in New Orleans somewhere, and the graphics are very well done, but the greed is way too overwhelming. Updating review: This month challenge required one to find 4000 event object to complete the challenge (this is just one of the legs of the entire challenge). I play a lot, but am barely over 2000 objects with only 2 days to go. A challenge is one thing, but without buying cheats, it is impossible to do this. People work. They can’t play a game 24/7. So, another game I’m disconnecting because it is rigged to rich folks only. I understand they have to make money, but ridiculous and obscene amounts of money toward a video game is absurd. ✓ So sick of game crashing!I really like this game but the fact that it crashes so frequently when those stupid advertisements pop up is frustrating. They take way to long to load and most of the time completely crash the game loosing what ever progress I had just made! Besides why do I need to be advertised to as soon as the game starts!! ✓ Designed to be impossible to progress without paying - don't botherGame was great fun and highly addictive to begin with - sure there were some bugs that were (and still are) really annoying, ie two rooms won't open depending on the device you're using and older iPads crash repeatedly. After a while as you progress it gets harder and harder, which is totally expected of course, but you quickly progress to a point where you can't finish games within the time limit without paying money to buy aids. And of course you don't find many aids in the games... It's sneaky how it's designed to entice you into rating early on when everything is still easy and fun and refreshes quickly. ✓ Poor response from G5 teamHave been facing issue of crashing of game very frequently and thus resulting in loosing rewards and progress made in game. Have been reporting this since more than 2 months but no resolution, rather G5 team just keeps on merging emails into one ticket and no action at all. ✓ I have a couple of questions???I have a question,!?How can I update a version of Homescape which is supposed to be a free game with the option if you so choose to spend money to get more lives & or more of the little doohickey thingys that help you get through each level, however some thing popped up that said I must install the new version but fir some reason it’s not letting me because I don’t want to put more money in my account than I actually have that I know that I can spend. But it’s a free game that I already have installed on my phone so why can’t I just update the friggin thing without having to have some debit card? And or how can I go about updating it without having to have money in that account? I know I didn’t use a credit card because I don’t have any credit cards. And I also know that my debit card is valid because it’s a debit card however I just only keep the minimum balance in that account unless I have more money that I know that I can afford to spend. And I also know that I didn’t use some friggin Apple Pay Card so it shouldn’t be telling me that the card number I gave them is invalid because they said they would only charge me for purchases that I make. I do enjoy the game very much-it’s one of my favourites as I’ve always loved detective books and movies since I was a child. I’m very patient and regard myself as a very good customer of yours. I don’t hesitate to buy coins and gems to complete my goals but why does that picture of that beautiful girl keep on popping up at the start of every game-staying there is an error! Fix it please, it’s just getting tiring now. And why can’t I access my gifts at the city centre, at the fountain-which will not work when I tap it and had been frozen for three days now? Please don’t show such incompetence, you will lose customers, it’s not looking good. Hurry up and fix the problem so I can get back to playing my favorite game please. ✓ Ads Ruin the Game ExperienceI've been a playing HC for almost 3 years because the hidden object scenes are great, along with the well-designed graphics and events. HOWEVER, the pop-up ads after EVERY play or battle with monsters is ridiculous, not to mention the number of unsolicited invites from friends who unknowingly download a game and trigger an invite to all their friends (I know, because I foolishly tried this once and got blasted by friends for sending them invites, which I didn't do knowingly). This is SPAM and is totally unethical to falsely send unsolicited advertisements from other players without permission! Worse, in order to delete those unwanted invites, you have to click on the invite, wait for it to load...click the "x" and then repeat the same process before you get the delete button. By the time you clear all the invites each day, you've wasted a ridiculous amount of time. Writing to G5 makes no difference, because they must get enough hits to make it worth the complaints. Really too bad, because this is ruining the game experience and guaranteed to make me never try another G5 game again..Version: 1.16.1600
✓ Is it all about the money?Welcome to the games eighth birthday. I’ve played for several years, but doubt I will be here for the ninth. In fact I’m beginning to wonder if g5 are trying to eliminate the game? Constantly adding more competitions and more sparkly graphics won’t compensate for the unfriendly user changes. New mini games which become impossible to complete without tools or spending as you go up levels. Endless energy collections and energy rewards, with tool collections few and far between. Daily tasks that can now take hours to complete. Event tasks that take a very long time to complete, but for increasingly inferior rewards. And the piece de résistance- instead of fixed tokens for completing a location (more as you increase your experience levels in a location) now there is a range of token values. For which one almost never receives the higher amounts. The images on the latest event are so tiny, obscured and pale on the iPad mini as to be near impossible to play. Given up on the phone altogether. Stop messing with the cartoon style graphics, the tool bars and all the other faffing that add nothing to the game. Focus on a seamless user experience instead. Forget about constantly adding new locations and play some new stories in lightly altered locations, so the game doesn’t eat device memory but is still playable. ✓ Attempts to bypass iPhone trackingI loved Hidden Objects and played the game for many months. When Apples’ newest update came out with the option of eliminating tracking I followed all of Apples’ procedures to enact the new protocols. But unlike the rest of the apps I use, when it came to this game and its developers I was more than annoyed. After opting out of tracking on the first screen, every time I would go in to play the game there would be an attempt to get me to agree to tracking. Such was sneakily stuck in-between the regular pop-ups that are part of the game so that one can easily mistakenly hit it. As such it would force me to delete the app and reload it (which after months of playing took hours to complete). Realizing the company was trying its best to by-pass Apples’ new protocols, I notified Apples’ security team and after 5 days of this repeating (sudden notice while playing hit by mistake, reload..) I have had enough and purged the game for good. While I understand the need to make money, the developers should be above board and state you can not participate without tracking and/or offer a fee membership without tracking option. Instead, because of method they have chosen, I will not be using any game from this developer in the future..Version: 1.41.4100

Gets frustrating when you finish a search and then crashes and you are left to do it all again. I think you should lower your prices or offer more for your purchases. ✓ Constant pop ups/addsThe adds are insane. There are 5 adds to close on startup, and god forbid you miss that X to close it. Between mini-games is a constant G5 screech of “please please play our other games!” No, guys, your other games are garbage, I tried them, stop nagging. I mean, really, invitations from other players that can’t be deleted? I don’t want to stare at the notification that tells me I have “gifts” when it’s actually 5 invitations to play another one of your games that I have ALREADY TRIED AND DID NOT LIKE. Not to mention those sneaky adds that appear as you hit the OK button after a level. Did you think I would go ‘oh okay I guess I will download it since you just forced me to sit through the App Store loading screen.’ No, I just close the game in frustration. I made an in app purchase in hopes the ads would stop, worst 99¢ I ever spent. I would spend more if there wasn’t so much stress involved with just opening the game. I would recommend going back to your previous neater format with everything on the tool bar to the side. ✓ G5: Would get much higher rating but....I love the game aspects of the only G5 game I've installed from them on my iPhone: Hidden Cities. What keeps this a three star rating is that the game has a tendency to kick you out or freeze on you while loading the ads that pop up frequently as you play. I would get more G5 games like it but don't because I'm assuming the problem is persistent across their games, and this would happen no matter which you download. It's not uncommon for me to have to restart the game several times a day, and if I want to play for an extended period of time, several times an hour. I don't know if this is a server issue or if the ads have something programmed into them that does this, but either way there are days I really contemplate whether the game is worth the trouble. So come on, G5--fix this issue or it may cost you this player, and likely future ones as well, because I can't recommend a G5 game with a clear conscience unless I add a warning about these issues..Version: 1.26.2601
✓ Addicting.. When playableI'm truly addicted. The locations are artistic and the additional gameplay features like monsters and mini games have made this my favorite hidden object game. However, the gems come too slowly for a free player to enjoy it much at all, and the prices are too high to get any amount that would make a worthy difference in the game. Both the real $$cost of gem and coin packages and the game-currency cost of chests, treasuries, tools, boosts etc.. are too high to allow any satisfaction after dropping real dollars on pretend moneys that disappear so fast. Like I said though, I'm addicted and have three accounts. I only make purchases on two accounts and the truth is that the fifty dollars I've dropped so far on each of them hasn't brought me any farther in the game than my free account. Also, the game is a HUGE data hog upon opening new locations and especially when beginning new events. Lastly, I'm tired of seeing friends in my news feed starting the new events hours or even days before my game decides to let me in. It would be a great relief if the app store updates ACTUALLY updated the game or at least prompted the download of event content upon opening the game. ✓ Good time waster!Enjoyable and frustrating (in a good way), gets you locked-in to find stuff. However, there is too much going on at any one time. ✓ Super addictive but a HUGE bug for meI haven’t seen this problem in any of the other reviews I’ve read. I send lots of gifts to friends every day; the issue is is that most of the gifts i receive aren’t available!! It says “no item” although there is clearly something being sent!! Or it’ll say “send item” which I will. All the others I must just delete cuz I can’t get them. On most days, I’ll have more “no item” gifts than one I can actually receive!! I’ve repeatedly sent in a fix request, only to get a form letter; asking for screen shots of issues etc-but I get NO FIX!!! Some of these items are collection items I need. Not only that, but at times 20+ gifts per day I’m unable to receive. HUGE ISSUE FOR ME. I’ve played this game for years to keep my mind sharp, and also agree with all the reviews stating the game can get almost impossible-finding items in the time limit on higher levels. ✓ Information OverloadWOW!! Information overload is an understatement. I know this is an online game but the storyline, graphics, plots, promos, tools... etc, etc are so much to take in I almost have an anxiety attack when the clock is counting down because I’m afraid I didn’t read something I should’ve or utilize a tool that would’ve yielded greater rewards.... HOWEVER.... THIS IS BY FAR MY NEW FAVORITE ONLINE GAME... the graphics are brilliant, I say specific because they’re historically and/or century specific combined with Enchanted Fantasy. I wish I could go to gameplay and by a first edition players handbook... lol. It’s almost like if D&D, Wizard of Oz, and Sherlock Holmes had a ménage a’trois this would be the lovechild. ✓ FrustratingI hate not being able to turn off the timer. As an elderly person my eyes aren’t that great and I sometimes need a little extra time to find all the hidden objects. The worst thing about this game however is the cost. Every scene takes jewels and energy points, and many need power ups or boosters to complete. When you run out it requires real money to replace them. They have the extra cheek to offer “gift boxes” that you have to pay to open. The game follows a story which is interesting but very slow to progress. There are much better games available for free, and I will be deleting this one.Version: 1.58.5801
✓ CrashAfter the app updates, I kept getting kicked out from the game for unknown reason. Right after I completed my location and received all the bonuses, my app crashed and I got kicked out. There is a constant barrage of ads for in-app purchases and frankly it is a very slow and boring game if you choose not to - they do everything to get you to spend money. You are also inundated with adverts for other games - not in the way that most apps do where you can choose to click on a game for a reward, but literally by blocking what you are doing all the time. ✓ Losing InterestYa hi! Can we lose the Illusions Anomaly already? I get that it’s new and you’re all excited about it, but I’m starting to lose interest after 2 years of playing this game because of it. 30 of my 40 locations are currently that dumb anomaly, and I have several times watched a location that I did NOT just play turn from a normal status over to the dumb new anomaly! And they never change!! I’m obviously not playing that anomaly frequently... because it’s not that great and I can only imagine it takes over my entire board because you force us to buy the anomaly fixer with gems! So ok, you want money... do the dozens of pop up adds not suffice? I have completed multiple seasonal challenges and won their avatars without having to pay a dime, which is fantastic, but I’m hardly started on the 5th level of this current Autumn challenge because I’m becoming so upset by my location options all being the same boring anomaly. Mix it up. Recognize when your players really hate certain anomalies or don’t do well at certain ones. ✓ Hidden cityI have played this game for a long time, I agree it is way to expensive but the graphics are beautiful! Now comes the but I love a challenge in finding the objects but in several of your graphics on the newer ones they are so cluttered that in the time length you can not find very many items and much use your gems to buy the items that find multiple objects to clear the board, and if you do not clear it you get nothing. Maybe younger eyes and fingers can do better, I don't know, I just wish there was an old person version, that gave us more time or fewer objects. I also think in the pairs board you should say 10 matching pairs and let us pick out the pairs instead of you giving us a list. ✓ Use to be a good gameThis use to be a good game and enjoyable to play. The reasons I don’t like it any more is: 1 Some screens are too dark to find the hidden objects. The objects are too obscure and too small. Even using the magnifying tool they blend in with the background. 2 While some events are challenging, making them so difficult and extremely hard to get , for example the daffodils, is frustrating and makes the game pointless. Why play if you can’t achieve the goal? I played the scene to level7 and 30% and received 52 of 75 to achieve the award. ✓ A cash grab now, no longer user friendlyI have been playing this game daily for five years, level 406 on iPad. Lately, I've noticed several unfair discrepancies between platforms. Apparently there's an option to watch ads for rubies (game currency) for players on Windows. I have never been afforded that option. With the recent update, it appears mobile devices have the search items listed on the bottom of the screen now, where they're still on right hand side for non-mobile devices. This is a huge disadvantage since the notification of all secret items being found hides the search item names for several seconds, and with saving seconds being an event goal, a terrible and unnecessary time killer. This used to be an enjoyable game, but little by little it has become less user friendly and an obvious money grab by the developers. I spend real money monthly on this game and the more "changes" that occur in the game play, the less I feel motivated to continue at the rate I do. The changes never seem to benefit the player, and I haven't seen changes/updates that make the game more interesting or fun and more of a chore. ✓ Fun game but hidden key quests disappear.Good game, just have to take breaks because of difficulty seeing hidden items strains eyesight that is already limited. But curious thing on major quests I noticed. After you find the 500 key chest you are offered a 1000 key chest that is stated to remain active and open for another 30 days at least. But every time a new location is opened with a storyline to complete that has keys to find the last hidden key option disappears. It has been less than a week since the last big quest ended and a new one has begun. The ballet one just started today. But the summer theatre key chest for 1000 has disappeared just like previous chests. I get that having two locations for keys might be confusing, but then you shouldn’t offer the option of continuing to collect keys with the supposed 30 days of time. Just tell the truth that as soon as the next quest starts you won’t be able to finish collecting keys so don’ waste tools and energy to have over 400 or 500 keys disappear with no explanation. We could have saved those tools and energy for the new quest if you were up front about not really giving the 30 days to collect those 1000 keys after the main quest has expired. ✓ It’s okay I guessI’ve only been playing for like an hour or so now but it keeps asking me to rate it, even in my quest list (grr) so I though I’ll just get it out of the way. ✓ Getting Too Greedy, No Longer FunI am sadly changing my 5 star review to one star. I’ve played this game for years and love it, and have spent a decent amount of money on in-app purchases. It takes a lot of work to make a game like this and I don’t mind spending some money and supporting the makers of the game. However, over the years, it’s become more and more difficult to play without making in-app purchases. One issue that’s currently frustrating me is that you have to find certain objects to enter the event location. Right now I need 25 objects to enter the event room. It takes me at least 15 minutes to earn 25 objects, then when I do, it doesn’t give me a collection item. Today I explored the event location FOUR times with no collection item! That’s ridiculous and I’m no longer having fun. Also I find the timer incredibly annoying and wish there was an option where you could turn off the timer and explore the game in peace. ✓ Mixed reviewsI have mixed reviews on this game. The graphics, some games and storyline are great, but the difficulty level is too hard once you get to the upper levels. I’m at level 68, but some of the quests are so hard that you cannot get past them without buying diamonds to get items to help you. (i.e. The station). The only way I’ve found to get free diamonds is to level up. You have to search for items, but as you progress, the number of items you need to find increases or the time decreases, I’m not sure which one, but it’s sure harder than when I started. You can add “unknown G5 friends” and request items from them to help you, but they don’t always send you what your requesting. There are also special “events” for a limited time that they promote, but even at level 68, I have yet to be able to complete any of them due to the difficulty of the games as you progress through it. So, if you’re able to spend money on the game (which I’m not) or you’re a lot better than me at finding things quickly, you’d probably really enjoy it. Examples: meet 300 friends but, no matter how many friends visit, a maximum of 5 would show up on the city map; latest one is play 20 scenes with the illusions anomaly, but suddenly, even though it was the most frequent anomaly before the event (and really annoying), now it might show up once every five or six days unless you buy enough of the tools to summon it. Rubies are necessary unless, perhaps, you are incredibly good at finding objects that are nearly totally blended into the scene. The only significant way to get them is to buy them. They are used to buy tools that help find objects in scenes. A major attraction to me of this game is it gives tasks that have you visit scenes to collect certain objects. Everything in the game generates objects needed for a collection and objects needed to combine the collection. After getting the 5 objects for a collection you need 2 to 10 of each of 4 objects needed to combine. A new task won’t start until you combine the collection. BUT some items that are needed to combine different collections are really rare in the game. You really need to spend rubies to get the ones you don’t have! I currently have 6 or 7 collections that I need about $40 to buy what I need. I might have 90 instances of objects where I need 2 for 2 of the collection objects. I would like to get the baskets from the candy corn monster. I need to play the maze location to be able to get the candy corn. They are not guaranteed to drop every time I enter the maze location. I need to play the maze 5 times to maybe get 5 candy corns. If I am at level 6 it takes 25 little monsters to even enter the maze once. So I need now 125 of the little buggers just to maybe get 5 of the candy corns and so that only means I could play the candy corn monster once. And I get at the very least one basket ( sometimes it is more) but I am guaranteed only one basket. You require like 450 of the baskets to get the free witch character. Also it takes 112 energy to play the maze once. My max energy points isn’t that much at level 260. So you make it nearly impossible to attain that 450 baskets playing normally. Seriously??? Yes...since Dec 5th I have indeed purchased more rubies and snowflakes several times, so I COULD continue to play multiple times daily. What Karina failed to mention in her several emails was how to resolve the items that mysteriously disappeared during the actual updating of the game!! Am I suppose to accept the loss and move on? Or how about reimbursing me for the loss of those items? That would seem to be a novel and fair idea! Or why not employ knowledgeable tech support people who can actually converse intelligently? Another novel idea! I will not give a good review if issues of a game cannot be reported and easily resolved. If issues hinder game play, why bother playing? ✓ Hidden City ReviewI have been playing this game for quite awhile now. I enjoy some parts of it, but I am thinking about quitting it. It has grown very expensive for a game. I get focused on completing the challenges, which requires a lot of time and money. The graphics are beautiful, although the stories are a little strange. I get frustrated when it takes too many tries to get an object. Also sometimes something you are trying to find on the screen is obscured by monsters or the banners with the location names or some general feature like a shrub. I find I often need just a little more time to complete the game, but when I can’t I have to use some alternative that costs money in one way or another. Occasionally there are technical screw-ups like an object you are looking for that does not appear in the location until you use one of the aids for finding objects or you hit an object for matching with another, but it won’t disappear, causing you to lose the energy you used to play. ✓ Give more diamonds as rewards!The gameplay is quite challenging and you need a lot of patience to get all parts required, some simply never show up as rewards, which is frustrating. I really enjoy this game but am very disappointed at the quantity of diamonds that get given for rewards. One measly diamond when you go up a level, that’s really pathetic. If you don’t spend money on this game you have zero hope of progressing. I think the developers should reward regular players more. I will play this game for a while but in the end I’ll lose interest if it’s not changed. ✓ ListsI find it very frustrating to be given a task such as location with invisible ink and you need to complete it 5 times and throughout the day it gives it to you once. ✓ Unfair playDone with this game. It is impossible to achieve when things are stacked against the player and fair play is not part of the game. Really disappointing. Once again it is impossible to have a fair go when you have cleared the same gem numerous times it is chained up again immediately, most times double changed. If you want to let people enjoy your game it would be wise to once the gem has been cleared a couple of times let it go and let them have a win. This really is the last straw. Not only have I been cheated when I purchased rubies that I did not receive but now after using tools that are supposed to help when trying to complete a a challenge but after using several tools they did not assist at all. ✓ Pop up ads ruin itI have been playing this for at least a year and thought it was one of the best games in this genre. I even buy in-app purchases which I never do in other games. However, the ads for similar games are now sending me mad. I understand why you have to have an ad at the beginning - if I wanted to play a similar game I could use this to select a new one. But why oh why does it have to have a noisy clip nearly every time you complete a search? It’s infuriating and unnecessary and has put me off playing this. What a shame! ✓ Not loving the updateI used to love this game. The graphics and ideas were great but the new update although a great concept seems to have many bugs and is harder to obtain items. My carnival square daily reward timer just stopped so I'm not getting my rewards. Sometimes I don't get my gifts that are sent to me. I don't know where they go but when you get out of the friends section they are not rewarded to you and they've made it harder to get assembler items for the new location which means you can't put items together without playing more of the same location over and over again before you can assemble them which of course uses up your energy and then expects you to pay out more money. Not sure how much longer I'll keep playing this which really disappoints me as I was really enjoying the challenges..Version: 1.16.1600
✓ Hidden CityHave been playing this for a while now. Finding the adds for other G5 games thrown in all the time VERY annoying. I get you want to advertise your other games, but every time you finish playing one go, is just ridiculous. Also getting very frustrated with how once you get to a certain level it’s pretty much impossible to complete a search unless you pay for it. Seriously thinking it’s time to delete this game as it’s getting too hard. Even with the “Special Event” levels that are put in now it’s nigh impossible to complete them too. Last chance before I delete especially as it’s taking up so much gbs on my iPad Such a shame as the game has excellent graphics. ✓ Fun game but several glaring usability bugs & errorsI’d rate this 3.5 if I could. I enjoy this game and don’t mind spending some money on it but there are some extremely annoying issues. 1) in order to get your daily quest list you have to open, close, and re-open the game. All of the other daily bonuses are there when you open it the first time, but for some reason you have to do this weird dance to get the daily quest list every day unless you happen to have the game open at midnight. 2) Often times things will be in the way of what you need to click on. Like monsters will be standing in front of buildings you need to enter or chests that you need to click on, or a message on the bottom of the screen will be covering up something that you need to click on like a cell of the expedition game. 3) The new plea for you to connect to your contact list or Facebook friends in order to add to game friends is very obnoxious and in the way every time you go to your friends list to try and help out your in-game friends. If these were cleaned up I could easily rate this four stars. Or even higher if it was made for the new iPhone so that I don’t lose things behind the left edge of the screen when I play because of the iPhone screen cut out..Version: 1.27.2701
