✓ FrustratingAs always the game started off good, but now you need the tools just to get through a level, think it’s time to give up and try another game.Version: 1.28.2801
✓ Too frustratingI really liked this game at first. Of course, I expected it to get harder once it got me interested, but this game went to far. There were several puzzles that just refused to be solved, however many times I tried. Then the adverts inviting me to buy gems to spend in the game became more frequent and more intrusive. There are puzzles where there is only one choice of tiles to match for each move, but you still can't solve the puzzle. I'd call that cheating. Eventually, I very nearly solved one puzzle that had been resisting for weeks, but when there were only a few pairs of files left, the game crashed. Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not up to something. Game deleted as I have better things to waste my time on! Maybe the developers will work on the game balance a little, but I don't care now. Goodbye..Version: 1.6.600

✓ Great game butI am really enjoying playing this game , it’s quite addictive . As usual it’s starts off fantastic with lots of levels to complete without having to purchase anything . But , wait …… before to long you really struggle to advance without the Usual “having to spend money” I knew it was too good to be true. Early on you could earn rubies to advance by watching ads … but now there isn’t an option for even that anymore , disappointing . Surely there is a way you can use coins .. or even a few more opportunities to earn coins or rubies to advance with levels.. great game otherwise , if only for this.Version: 1.8.800
✓ Keeps freezingBeen playing a long time but recently where an advert would load the game now freezes and I have to force close it and re load the game which gets very frustrating. This has been since the new load screen where you can switch accounts which wasn’t there before..Version: 1.14.1401
✓ Good gameI really enjoy this game and have been playing for over a year. I do t normally make any in app purchases so to build up the gems you need I was spending time each day watching the adverts to get free gems. At Christmas there was a really good offer to get 150 gems for £1.79 and I paid for them and really wished I hadn’t as that stopped you being able to get free gems. I have now spent the gems I had and unless I pay for more will not get free ones by watching adverts. I did not know if this is intentional or was an issue so raised a support request but the response did not help and I have not had the option of free gems since..Version: 1.27.2700
✓ Totally disgustedI play games to relax after working hard all day. But when you go thru 500 energy points trying to complete ONE board then it becomes frustrating. Also there is no place to talk to developers, they leave you hanging with side quests and the boards are ridiculous. I’ve never played a game that intentionally makes you lose like this one does and I refuse to spend money on a game that does NOT work with you! Better games out there than this. Just played one screen 10 times and STILL haven’t won it. It’s also one of the main buildings, Royce, where you get supplies to complete collections so without it you’re stuck. ✓ A good gameI am enjoying Mahjong Sheriiff but dislike the pop ups after every game advising me that I can buy more power or tools or diamonds etc - after every game!! Admittedly there are no ads, but even if there were, I doubt they would appear as often as these item upgrades do. I have spent more money in this game than in any other I have played just to progress to levels. I will continue playing for a couple of more weeks and then will have to find something that doesn’t push in-app purchases so heavily onto the player..Version: 1.26.2601
✓ IrksomeI’ve been playing this game for a long time, and it used to be fun. I play it to relax, but now it’s become so irritating that I’m really contemplating deleting it. It’s great in one sense because there are no ads except for their other games or if you choose to watch an ad to get a crystal to use to buy power ups. But they are stingy with the power ups and they will cost you most of your crystals just for a few power ups. That leads me to my biggest complaint. You play the puzzles to complete a set of items. The puzzles are designed so you can’t win them. It’s so incredibly irritating. And not relaxing at all. If you want to finish the puzzle plan on using ALL of your power ups to do it, which leaves you without crystals and without power ups. I don’t spend money on virtual games. That to me is poor management of my money, so my advice is to not waste your time or your money on this game. It’s no longer fun or relaxing. It’s frustrating and irritating 😠!.Version: 1.31.3100

✓ Out of moves too oftenI really enjoy playing this game; almost everything about it is fun. I can only give 3 stars because, about 4 out of 5 times, I run out of possible moves when I almost have it solved. Makes playing much less enjoyable knowing the odds are against me. I’ve tried different strategies, but the results are the same-defeat. Most games will shuffle the playing pieces when moves are exhausted. Wondering why that can’t be done with this one? ✓ Pushing purchasesSeems to be set up that purchases seem necessary for advancement. That shouldn’t happen unless the player opts for not working toward the reward by purchasing deals. Well two weeks into playing this game has changed my review. The win to loss ratio is ridiculous. I get like 35 games lost to one win. I’m playing without purchasing. Therein lies the problem. ✓ Probably better for certain personality types?If you have lots of patience and can strategize well, you will love this game. However, I think the less you have of these traits, the more frustrated you will become. It’s very disheartening to get 15 minutes or longer into a level and then end up with no more moves! (And no money to buy gems to get a reshuffle.) I keep trying but after losing several levels in a row, I give up for the rest of the day and come back later. ✓ Starts good but evolves to Pay to winGame starts fun but puzzles grow to pay to win. Played one level and had no free moves with in 5 moves three seperate times. If you like doing the puzzles and do not care about finishing them, then the graphics and sound are good. ✓ Enjoying it BUT…Early on, pretty good. You can play the game and advance in levels BUT… at some point (about level 48), you apparently reach the limit on “watching ads and getting free gems”. This means that advancement in the game is horrendously slow if you don’t purchase things. This also means it to gets boring which is kinda sad. So, if you don’t mind paying up, and continuing to pay, download and play. Otherwise, at about level 48, this game gets a bit loathsome..Version: 1.12.1200
✓ AdsI love this game, however I’m not very happy with the fabric softener videos that I watch to get the free crystals, because they don’t give you any crystals and once they start it gets into a loop and they repeat all the time so some days or even weeks I don’t get the free crystals because of those videos, they most definitely need to be removed or changed..Version: 1.29.2900

✓ Ugh!!!!First off —> parents be aware that whilst it says "ages 4+" but I don’t know if any 4 year old who could accomplish and advance progression. Secondly —> mature players should be aware that the game consistently fails to apply energy resources you collect and attempt to use. I’ve contacted them several times about this. Be prepared for the amount of info they want to investigate the issue. Seems to me that if you’re logged in, they can track that the same way they track your game useage. How can you prove something disappeared when it disappears, you know? In the last year, you’re giving less and less prizes, and charging the same price?? You also made it harder to win. You were awarding 24-26 keys per game and now you’re down to 4-6? ✓ Freezing problems since updateI really enjoy this game and have been playing it for hours over the last few weeks. But ever since the Easter update, it periodically freezes in the middle of a game. When I restart, it goes back to the main map with the energy points lost. ✓ FrustratingI like the game but have yet to be able to finish one of the monthly stories. This makes me want to delete the game. It’s also frustrating that there are no tips on how to finish the game. What pieces to use or what they do. What’s the point of these ‘collections’ if you don’t know what to do with them? For instance what good is the ‘freeze’ button? When you progress along in the story and each play costs 25 tickets, it takes forever without a purchase. When you finally get the tickets, win the game and no progress, you have to start over and play 2 more games just to get enough tickets to lose again. At least with Mahong Journey you have ways to keep going and know what the collections are for. This game has become anything but relaxing. Unless you are ready to fork out $$ for diamonds and tickets, you will only get so far. I personally am tired of playing the story and never being able to finish it. ✓ Difficult to pass levelsI have played this game on & off for a while, I delete it when there’s no possibility of passing a level because you simply can’t do it due to limited tiles & not being able to see the tiles below. I get towards the last few tiles and can’t move anymore. This game would be great if it wasn’t so difficult to move up the levels. Such a shame I will be deleting it again now for a while, because no matter what I do I can’t pass on the levels I am on. I refuse to pay for hints/bombs because sometimes you can still fail. ✓ Love to Hate at TimesSo much I really like about this game but there are aspects about it I find absurd and frustrating. I really enjoy the creativity, however . . . I understand each level increasing in its challenge but I find it really ridiculous how many tiles get piled up on a screen that you really cannot see far enough ahead to plan a route; tiles are so buried and hidden it’s like what’s the point. When you have the special quests I’m all in until I get to level 4. At that point when you do win a board the progress bar barely moves. It’s like a double jeopardy of little reward. ✓ Great game keeps freezingI am enjoying the mix of mahjong and building. The problem I’m having is that the game uses A LOT of power which makes my iPad hot and run out of power pretty quickly. Also, I’ve been having the problem of the game freezing. So far the only way to restore is to shut down and restart, which loses progress on that play and the “demands” paid. I’m trying this time to see if I can just wait. So far it’s been over 15 min and while the game responds periodically (ever couple of minutes one thing changes) - it’s pretty much frozen and I may give up and restart soon..Version: 1.6.600
✓ Major problemI finally had enough frustration and deleted the app. It was fun in the beginning but as you got farther advanced it would become very frustrating. They made it so it was extremely difficult to finish any levels without having to purchase boosts. But what the final straw was when I used the boost to identify a match it would highlight one tile but there was not another tile to match. This happened twice before I finally deleted the game.
