✓ Good but challengingFirst time on haunted manor, was very impressed with graphics, loved the font for the text at the beginning. Really tough game lasted a long time and you had to think through all of the puzzles. I had it on easy but still had to make do with the google walkthrough. It’s probably an older game and so does not have hints, a map and being able to adjust the darkness not present on this app. The darkness of the screen was too dark and I appreciate it is a horror but still you have to see things, this was a little frustrating and the absence of a map means you had to go through all scenes sequentially to get too and fro. But a really good game at a very good price with tough puzzles which I am sure more experienced players will appreciate..Version: 1.5.1
✓ Almost brilliant!A good long game with challenging puzzles and i highly recommend it. I didn’t give 5 stars though because there are a few things to improve: 1. It is frustratingly dark, even with max brightness. This will eat-up your battery. Plus, many things you simply cannot see and so you just tap randomly all over the place. To be honest, it gets annoying quite quickly. If nothing else, change this! 2. The inventory gets quite large, quite quickly and some of these things you’ll be carting around for much of the game. When you are struggling, you just try every option and it becomes tedious with so many items. 3. On the difficukt mode, you can spend 1-hour+ searching for an item, only to get a sheet of paper that can’t be used until much later in the game. This happens a number of times and so there is little payback for your effort. This detracts from the game. 4. You have a bit of a memory leak, whereby items in your inventory cannot be selected. You have to kill the game and re-start it. Perhaps caused by switching to other apps with 4-fingers!? Only happened the once. Good effort!.Version: 1.5.1

Some of the puzzles can be very hard, especially for younger kids. One thing about this game that I would say bugged me, is that after 7 rooms or so, you have to pay $3.99 for the full version, and if you pay for it on one device, you can’t have the full version on different devices if you have a family plan. This one is different and much more “realistic”: you move back and forth between the different areas as clues are revealed. At times it seemed too difficult, but whenever I returned after taking a break, I was able to solve the puzzles. You come across many games that are just not logical enough, where a lot seems random. This game is quite the opposite: a lot is logical and you find yourself not just haphazardly clicking around. Only drawback might be the drastic change in (visual) perspectives in some cases - you get disoriented. I’ve played so many free and paid puzzle games and this has to be one of my favorites!.Version: 1.5.1

Brighten your screen and tap items you think may be useful more than once, as the game is too dark and a little finicky on the touch. It’s a nice long game and well worth 3 bucks. I didn’t care for some of the minute items in incredibly dark spaces, forcing you to tap insanely around every room to make sure you didn’t miss anything. All in all a good game..Version: 1.5.1

✓ Liked... but didn’t likeThe game was interesting graphics were nice, but I’m not a big gamer and having to go back-and-forth to Facebook for hints became time consuming and aggravating after the first hour of gameplay. It’s the first game I’ve ever played a hidden object game that used Facebook for their hints. All the other games included hint on the game page.
