Battery DrainNeed to be careful with this app. Leave it in in background with screen off and it kills the battery. Not sure why, maybe keeping mic running. But my iPad went from 100 to 0 overnight. Plus. I’m a bit of a newbie so I might be doing something wrong. But when I record in GarageBand it only records audio. Would love to Work out how to record midi messages at the same time..Version: 3.1.0

Triton - misses the pointMany reviews on here hype up how wonderful Korg have been on porting their classic kb's to IOS. I have been spending money with Korg for over 25yrs and own hardware versions but right now need Korg to listen up. The in app purchase of Triton totally misses the point. Triton was a game changer but by not including any Combinations in the IOS version basically reduces the plug in to a rather average set of patches that frankly I suggest you don't waste your money. Also, there is no midi learn function with Module, nor for that matter the ARP Odysee simulation. If you want rich, deep, mappable IOS synths then don't waste money with Korg and spend it elsewhere. By comparison Arturia have hit bullseye when it comes to IOS and also OSX.Version: 2.5.1

No good for piano playersDo not buy this app for piano. It has a major flaw that makes it no good. It is called "Voice Stealing." If you hit the sustain pedal, and hold down a bass note while arpeggiating with your right hand, the bass note drops out quickly. You DO NOT get the full polyphony promised. I have emailed tech support at Korg, and they told me to change my polyphony settings to 112. I did that. They have not "helped" me since. It just does not work. They have basically botched their voice stealing algorithm causing the bass cutout. Voice stealing should always come from the tail end of repeated notes. You should never rob the primary sound of a non-repeated note that is being held down, or sustained with the pedal. And Korg refuses to address this issue. CMP Piano is a better app for piano because of this..Version: 2.5.1

Very good butUpgrade giving keyboard split etc should be a free upgrade to your loyal customers. Also, IAPs should be cheaper sales aside. I mean you want money for midi cc learn?! Really!? That is basic functionality on synth apps that cost £5 😒 I realise au3 will never happen but that would be great. The latest Neo Soul pack is about as Neo Soul as a pork chop, utter garbage sounding. Give us a full Triton iOS app and not these most recent half baked preset banks..Version: 4.1.6

BewareI bought this app as reviews on YouTube said you. could split the keyboard. It’s another £26.99 to do this - you have to download another package..Version: 3.0.3

Decent. Needs some more features. IAPs are pretty rough.Decent representation for most sounds, but many useful ones are locked behind numerous expensive IAP's. Sound editing is very basic with certain parameters cherry picked for certain sounds but missing for others. saving presets and using them in set lists is useful and they can be reordered per song and recalled with midi program change but therein is another problem: Changing patches interrupts all sound. this means you cannot hold out a chord or note and change patches while it rings out-- the notes will be cut off. this is kind of a drag for live playing and a surprisingly huge oversight for an app that was created with live performers in mind..Version: 2.7.0

It’s ok, needs a couple thingsThe sounds are pretty good. I like that I can use it live on stage. Unfortunately there are two issues, I’ve used it on both my phone and my iPad, but it constantly drops the connection with both midi and usb mid song causing me to have to disconnect and reconnect it to get a connection. Not very good as my band has contracts with casinos in Nevada that pay very well and if we can’t perform, they won’t renew our contract. I also use my iPad to run sound at the same time I’m playing and when I switch apps to adjust something the Korg app stops working. Other apps allow me to do that. I have to adjust the sound then reopen the Korg app. So now I have to use two separate iPads to prevent this from happening. Also, the sounds are good, but are limited as to how much I can adjust them. Need more mids? Nope. Need to cut lows? Nope. Not in all of the sounds anyway. Need drawbars on your organ? Nope. Just the presets for you. Want to add distortion to your instrument? Compression? Nope. That’s only allowed on some of the instruments. I’m keeping the app because I’m hoping some of the issues I have will be addressed at some point. Don’t get me wrong, the sounds so far are better than the majority of other apps. But my Roland keyboards have the ability to adjust way more, it’s just a lot harder to do and they’re big and heavy to lug around..Version: 4.5.6

Please fix ghost notes!Great sounds , really easy to read display and fantastic to use , but , random notes appear and hold in the middle of playing which really messes with the greatness of this app, I have to change pre set to stop held note. 5 star app if this is fixed..Version: 1.0.2

Please updateNo real updates to this for a long time now and you have since released the Korg Keystage. Neither Module or Gadget respond to aftertouch which is a key selling point of the new controller keyboard. Please update the organs to have their drawbars controlled externally, include aftertouch on some synths and can we please have more of the gadget sounds in Module. More poly, splits and layers would help too. iPads are much more powerful now than when Module was released..Version: 4.6.2

Live PlayingThe positive is that this is the best module in the app market. At first I could not believe that sounds like these are possible in an app. Good enough that I am using it for the last two weeks for live playing. The negative is that the certain sounds are a bit thin, but most importantly the app crashes, and many times it distorts digitally. I have to reset my app quite a few times in a live setting. Hopefully Korg will correct this bug..Version: 2.5.1

Pretty goodThis app is designed mainly for live use - witness the set list function. It therefore needs midi learn and the ability to play things like the iWAVESTATION from within it. Also using more than one sound in the same song within a set list has not been thought out especially when playing an mp3. Decent sounds but no drawbar control on the organs..Version: 2.6.0

Five Star Sounds. Missing some FunctionalityI really love the sounds this makes and struggled with what to rate. For now I am speaking to the functionality. I use Auria Pro and also Cubasis and cannot use the app in either without workarounds. Why does it not show up in Inter-App or Audio-Units? It would make using the app so much easier..Version: 2.7.2

$40 addition for midi. The korg apps are relatively expensive. They’re quality though. MIDI cc control at extra cost is beyond weak. This should have been part of the initial cost. Only one or two Korg apps I may regret buying. When you own more than one korg app, it plays well with others korg apps. Everything in this package is available internally with the gadget app making an inception like addition to what you can do with these. I need a Rhodes for everything I do, can’t get enough of the sound, so I’ll use whatever. This has a really decent EP, i do wish it didn’t fall apart in the lower keys though. *korg - would you mind fixing the lower frequencies in the EP? They’re flabby and falling apart. Otherwise lovey reproduction, thanks* This app plays well with older hardware turning that old iPhone into the brain, coupled with a midi controller, makes a serviceable keyboard rig. This is actually my setup right now and it’s awesome. Headphone jack and all. I have played with USB compliant cards. Hit or miss if it’s worth the effort. Might be more worthwhile plugging the headphone directly out into a decent preamp/buffer instead. If you need some really decent keys for a midi keyboard, this is the one. Decent enough piano Decent enough of the bare bones sounds, no more, no less but what you need and quality. Great latency performance, especially with all the options to reduce the animation tax. Nice touch korg, thank you..Version: 4.5.4

Why is it crashing after ten minutes?I love this app when it is working. I use a usb midi controller through aum with all the normal attachments, but recently the app has been crashing about once every 10 minutes. When it crashes, aum crashes, and all my apps crash. Very annoying. Aum's load monitor doesn't show any strain, so I'm not sure what's going on..Version: 4.5.6

IPhone 11 Pro support?Has been pretty good in the past but recently tried it with my iPhone 11 Pro and Bluetooth can’t connect for some reason.. contacted support waiting for solution. It also has a tendency to set your pants on fire and eat your battery for breakfast if you leave it on in the background accidentally..Version: 3.0.3

Does not work in gadget!IPad Air 2 - opens and runs fine as standalone, loads in gadget, but as soon as you press a key gadget crashes, for this much money?...fix this and it will be a five..Version: 1.0.1

5 star app. 1 star keyboard playability. You do the math. Why in God’s would these guys give you a keyboard that simply cannot be played stand alone? Stubborn Japanese insistence on visual aesthetic over functionality? I would say so. The sounds may be the best in iOS, but the complete disregard for user experience on so many levels is also maybe the worst in iOS. Ever tried to contact Korg? Get genuine feedback? Absolutely impossible. I wrote this review because I was away from my external keyboard, and unlike other apps with a virtual keyboard, Korg insists on making the one in Module completely useless on its own. Pretty, though. And pretty useless. Get with the bloody program and start listening to your buyers..Version: 2.6.0

Needs midi exportA nice app from songwriting on the move but needs midi export to push your ideas into a DAW. There is audio export but that is far less useful. There is also midi import, but that seems like just a bit of fun. Without midi export this is really just an expensive toy to while away some time..Version: 3.0.3

It's been around a long time and still no AUV3While nearly all music app tools have been updated with auv3 from other developers... Korg refuses to bring any Auv3 to any of their apps. Consequently I have a number of korg synths on iOS that are no longer used because I prefer working in Auv3. Korg ignore requests to add auv3 support..Version: 2.7.2

Excellent soundsKong, please add layer and keyboard split. Then we will have a perfect live gigging app..Version: 1.1

Can't get it to workI was extremely hopeful for this app since I previously owned a Korg Krome and missed some of the sounds that I didn't have with my Yamaha MOFX8. I decided I would get the $99 Korg plug key rather than the Camera USB cable. You know do it right, no short cuts. Well, I plugged everything in and nothing was recognized no midi sound. Very disappointed, glad I bought both the module & Triton sounds on sale. I can send the Korg Plug Key back for reimbursement. I really wish it worked for me... glad other are experiencing success, maybe it's not compatible with my Yamaha piano. Update...a week or so later I order the Camera USB cable to try the low tech approach but unfortunately same results... What a bummer ... I don't know how everyone else is getting this to work as it appears all you have to do it plug it in and turn the volume up on your phone..... No luck.... I will keep researching and maybe I will find someone that figured it out..Version: 2.5.1

Where is midi Programme ChangeI bought this app as the Manual states you can recall saved presets / programmes/ patches etc from a saved set list by sending midi pc from your controller. I can’t find it anywhere on the app. I can’t find any reference to it on a google search or YouTube. So Korg.. can it be done if so how? or just point me in the right direction at least. Incidentally the expansion pack which you sell separately includes midi learn for midi #cc .. no mention of midi pc..Version: 4.1.8

Must haveI love the richness of sound but can’t be split, unable to export the patches and no layering capability. Hoping there will be update with those options.Version: 2.6.0

Good, not amazingIPad Pro 2019. I have used this app live with my notation launch key. The split functions are very cool, and overall sound quality is quite good. I have had two unfortunate issues, the main one is that all of the sounds in my set disappeared, making me scared to use it for future gigs. The second is that the velocity curve is touchy, and without editing the velocity curve, some notes sound significantly louder than others and distort which is very annoying. For the price I expected more refined features..Version: 3.0.3

Very greedy.£8.99 for a Halloween library. All others are £4.99. You’ve just lost a customer. I don’t stick with greedy businesses. I have other synth apps that are not as greedy, so my money now goes to them. I’ll keep this app certainly, but won’t spend another penny on overinflated prices, just because it’s nearly Halloween. We’re done..Version: 4.2.2

BEWARE: Don't buy in app purchases to use with Gadget!!!!I recently purchased Korg Gadget and I really like it. Got excited and starting buying in app modules no problem. Bought Korg Module and was happy with that too. So, I bought the Triton module in app purchase thinking it would work in Gadget......NOPE!!! Tried to find info on it on the Korg support page and got nothing. Finally looked at the user guide (who really reads user guides) and found it buried. If Korg made Module to work in Gadget, why couldn't they just make the in app purchases available too? 🤔Sort of glad everything was half price. 😕.Version: 2.5.1

Please Fix Octave of Triton IAP, Save Set List to iCloudSounds are nice. Controls are non- standard (FIlter cc100, Layer cc 71) Program changes are fast enough for live performance. Effects are nice, Leslie speaker is bonus. I regularly gig with a 61 key Midi controller with knobs and 9 program change buttons. I can quickly select 0 piano strings, 1 ep, 2 clav 3 strings, 4 brass, 5 organ, 6 full organ, 7 lead The factory program levels are not consistent; in a band context I had to increase organ and synth levels in order for them to be heard. The Triton add on programs are nice - but they are positioned one octave lower than the factory programs - and there is no octave adjustment....Please fix this so I can use them in my live set lists. Please Save Set lists to iCloud. I can export using iTunes but cloud is faster and more efficient..Version: 2.7.2

PriceVery expensive for some of the sounds I can't believe they want that much for a few piano sounds.Version: 4.1.0

Absolutely love it, but my 40$ in-app purchase disappeared and can’t be restoredI purchased the “Ivory Mobile American D” pack to use on Korg Gadget many months ago, and now it disappeared. All my other purchases are still there. Please fix this!.Version: 4.1.1

Latency unusable on mini iPad originalPresumably on later models this is resolved, but each note is delayed on mini iPad original version with iRig2 MIDI cable from normal MIDI keyboards. latency adjustment just causes pops and crackles. great quality sounds, truly fantastic, but no way to play from cable MIDI. false advertising claims mini iPad works with fewer notes. not via iRigMIDI2 which is the latest model MIDI to ipad cable. Bluetooth MIDI LE would be great if there is any device available - but mi.1 hard to get and uncertain if it is compatible. The wej not available yet....Version: 1.1

I WANT A REFUND!I WANT A REFUND.Version: 4.1.8

No sound output to airplay nor hdmiContacted support and no response back ever. Even the iPad version allows sound output through hdmi or airplay. All other iPhone and iPad music instrument apps that i have support this basic feature except for this iPhone version of Module. And what really makes me want to give this 1 star is the fact that they completely ignore my bug report. I own all Korg apps and even own several Korg controllers but this lack of support irks me..Version: 2.5.1

New G128What a disappointment. Correct me if I’m wrong. But does it not seem to be a rehash of what we already have? A lot of of these sounds are taken from previous sound modules, and they might of added a few new. All for the price of $9.99. Come on Korg you can do better than that. Continue to be a world leader in sound and do not blind side us with what we already have put in a new package..Version: 4.5.4

Cannot download 80s EPS + other iaps6 months later, no response from customer service (in China lockdown??) - same issue. PROFESSIONALS, don’t use this app with IAP libraries. This app unloaded my Triton iap for no reason. (My iPad settings have “unload unused apps” turned off.) A gig-killer. ➡️✅ Use SAMPLETANK instead!!! I selected 80s EPS IAP TO RESTORE TRITON. GAH! 😖 Selecting Wurly iap restores already installed Scarbee EP.🤨 Anyone reading this have any solutions? (At this point, KORG owes me an IPad Pro. Heheh! 🤣) Meanwhile, I’ve switched to a Surface Pro 7, using Kontakt... iPad Air, 1st gen; 16gb. iOS 12.5. 2.7gb avail; library is 535mb It shows up in my purchases, but will not download. On the flipside, I’ve re-downloaded Triton pack 6 times. (It is directly above 80s Ep option.) And I’ve deleted Triton and Wurly packs, still wouldn’t work. PLEASE HELP! NOTE: Since I’ve used all my hotspot data trying to make this work, I won’t be able to try again for another month..Version: 4.5.6

Iaa issuesAwe sum app with great sound, but one massive problem. The iaa does not work in cubasis tried all the work rounds and nothing Un-usable for me with out Cubasis support wasted my money, so please fix it.Version: 2.6.0

DON’T BUY - Korg steals your IAP moneyI love Korg, but I hate companies that steal your money, so I’m torn in this review. I purchased the Premier Vintage Organ IAP. It sounds great. Actually it ~sounded~ great. But, I won’t be able to hear it again, or use it the songs I wrote, because remember that IAP that I paid money for? It’s been discontinued and DELETED by Korg. Here’s the kicker: since module works in Gadget, this impacts Gadget, too! None of the songs I wrote with Premier Vintage Organ will work. Instead, Buy Ravenscroft for Piano, Beathawk for Organ and other sounds, and iSymphonic for symphony sounds. Yes, it bothers me that Korg has unethical business practices, and took my money. But what bothers me most is that music I made using this instrument is now gone. Not only is Korg stealing my money, they are taking away my music. Bummer..Version: 2.7.1

Please fixGood but due to bug can't download the in app purchase.Version: 1.1

Polyphony problemNow this app sounds wonderfull, and is very easy to use. As a pianoplayer I love the piano sounds, and it is one of the better soundlibraries out there. My one problem, and this is a big problem, is the polyphony. With a brand new ipad 2017, I can get the maximum 112 voices. That is fine on synths and lots of other stuff, but with a piano sound of this quality, there is 4 voices per note. This brings it down to a a number of 28 notes playable at the same time. I know this sounds a lot, as we only have 10 fingers, but whem doing a long run with the sustainpedal on, this becomes noticable very quickly. Even a cheap digital piano can usually play up to 112 notes easily. For me it makes this unsuitable for a live situation. I hope Korg will fix this problem soon, but I am not hopefull as they have not updated this app for over a year. Feels a bit like they have abanded the app, and left it unfinnished..Version: 2.5.1

Reverted to non-Pro randomlyI love this app, but....my installations on both iPad and iPhone lost all the ‘Pro’ factory sounds, completely without warning. Only a separately purchased 3rd party library remained on each device. There was no way to reload the ‘Pro’ sounds without deleting and restoring the app - which meant that I lost my User patches on both devices..Version: 3.0.3

Poor valueThis is an expensive app for very mediocre sounds. It also does not have great polyphony and I find it runs out of notes. iGrand, iLectric and sample tank are far better quality for a fraction of the price. Wish I'd hung onto my money!.Version: 1.1.1

Sounds great but needs midi keyboardYes sounds wonderful but the screen keyboard is a nightmare and useless .it can't be re-sized or scrolled for lower and higher octaves and hence renders it useless for playing on the go ,in trains, cars, buses and other locations where you don't have a midi keyboard to hand etc Playing it in gadget is the same as the keyboard in there isn't a proper on screen keyboard? Please sort out korg, as its a very expensive app and this really lets it down.Version: 1.0.1

Sound QualityI’m not pleased with the sounds. They don’t sound like I thought they would. The demo sounds in various videos I heard are much more professional than I can get. I’m not sure what the problem is..Version: 2.7.2

DisappointingThe stock piano sounds are underwhelming and inferior to any decent portable stage piano. I downloaded a trial of the Ivory piano expansion but it never showed up in the app, even after downloading it twice. There also doesn’t appear to be drawbars to adjust the organ patches. I guess you need to buy an expansion pack for that. I am annoyed that I spent $20 on an app that is so limited. The organs and EPs are much better in Apple’s Logic for iPad. Logic is more expensive, but it provides the control and sound I expect from a professional app..Version: 4.6.0

Wonderful app - but no IAA/AudiobusFantastic app rendered only semi-useful by lack of support for IAA/Audiobus etc..Version: 1.0.1

Sampels are not matched in app purchase stroreI wanted to try orchestra dream sample pack and downloaded it but what I got is hybrid 1 there is no instrument as described in the store.Version: 4.1.8
