SwindledI was at a baseball tournament out of the area. We decided to order Togo’s in between games of double header. I placed an order of what I thought was the closet Togo’s and the order would take 45 minutes. Wifi was spotty and I had to try at least 3 times to order. Within minutes of ordering, I saw a closer Togo’s and they would take only 15 minutes. I called the number on the location -Folsom, CA to cancel. I gave them my confirmation number and told them I wanted to cancel. It was too far and the wait was too long. The guy said he could not find my order. There was nothing placed. I asked him to confirm and he said there is no order for you here it didn’t go through. Low and behold I was charged $24 for something I never received at the Folsom Togo’s. They said they couldn’t refund. I have proof that I went and purchased at a closer Togo’s to my location. Swindled!.Version: 21.32.2021052101

Older version worked much betterThe older version of this App was much better. The current version (2018) freezes a lot and you have to sign back in all the time. As much as I prefer Togos, this has caused me to go to Subway or the mom and pop place a few blocks further away. I just don’t want to hassle with this glitchy technology anymore. It’s so bad that you can’t even report problems to Togos about it - after writing the email there was no option to “send”! Horrible appThis app is horrible. Besides the fact that it constantly freezes (right after I’ve wasted 10 minutes customizing and completing my order, which is always wiped out once it freezes), it is not user friendly for changing menu items (adding or removing items from a sandwich). Additionally, it does not allow you to use your rewards. This app used to be great, but I seriously consider not even going to Togo’s anymore because of how frustrating this terrible app is..Version: 17.38.2017102001

Poor AppUsed this App for the first time to place an order online. There were multiple freezes throughout the process. And although my online order appeared to transmit to the local store correctly, I had to shout out my card number to the cashier so he could cash me out. Non-Fubctional AppI have downloaded the app 4 times in attempting to give it a shot, but I cannot get it to work. First & last attempts, I could not get beyond the prefer screen trying to load, so I couldn't place any order & had to force quit. The 2nd & 3rd, I couldn't even sign in - I set it to use my location (which was different from attempts 1 & 4) for those two attempts. I just tried to tap on the link for app support right below the review section in the app store & it took me to a 403 error page! This used to workI used to use the app regularly the summer before last. It had our orders saved, I could adjust things and add quick notes. This I can only control how my sandwich is made by what they choose. My 5 yr old likes avocado on his sandwich so I used to pay extra to add it but there's no option here. Same with me liking extra pepperoncinis, I can only take it away not add extra. I thought logging into my account would fix it, nope. That just directed me back to the same place. Bad Customer ServiceTogo’s on Katella has bad customer service.... first off it was a curbside order and I had to get of the car to get it. Second it said it was ready and complete on the app but when I went in they started the order after I gave them my name. Last I ordered a Coke bottle and associate told me a had to get a Diet Coke cause that is what the receipt said. Only problem was the receipt said Coke not Diet Coke. HATE THE APP (but I still love Togos)I've visited 2x since downloading the app and the first time I don't think that I got the promotion of double points (yes it was for the appropriate day). Wish it worked well. The app does not have a FAQs section at all, I seem to have a reward but am not sure how to access it, and the employees were not given the tools they need to succeed with this app roll out (there is 0-1 people at my local Togos that have a vague idea about how to get my points recorded but beyond that who knows). No CheeseJust picked up first order through app from Rancho Cordova Sunrise store. Ready on time and all good except one hot pastrami did not have the add on provolone which was very disappointing. This is a reason I don’t appreciate the automatic tip on the app as well. There is no way to check the sandwich quality unless you’re in the store watching them made. App doesn’t allow adding notes to specific items or the overall orderI ordered a #24 Turkey and Avocado sandwich. Although the app has options to add or remove toppings/ingredients, not all ingredients are available options (i.e. mayonnaise and mustard). I’m addition, there are no fields related to specific menu items or the overall order to add notes related to specific requests to alleviate this problem. Worst App of 2017 AwardAfter much consideration, I hereby award Togo's the Worst App of 2017 Award. To test this app, I put in an order for the whole family, paid for it via the app and took my screaming toddler to pickup my order. Should be the answer for a stressed out Dad, right? Wrong! Upon showing up to the store they had no record of my purchase. Wrong location? Nope. E-mail receipt shows the order was sent to the right store and paid for. But in the store they verified that the order had not been received by... wait for it.. staring at the fax machine. That's right folks, in 2017 with all the power of modern technology Togo's released an online ordering app that depends on 1960s facsimile technology to get your order to the restaurant. Can’t update credit cardThe app has worked well, but the last time I used it the credit card I saved had expired. There should be a way to find the saved card and update it, but the app doesn’t have that option. I can see my name, email and Togo’s reward number, but not my saved credit cards. Disappointed with customer serviceAs always the sandwiches are very good. My favorite sandwich makers. However, this location (Carmichael,CA) has messed up four times on four separate occasions, all on line orders. Once, they said they didn’t receive the order, Twice, they were out of Pastrami (the majority of my order) and were running really late if I wanted to order another item. Third, they didn’t have the bread for two of my sandwiches and they didn’t even call me and let me know. Four, I ordered and pick up time was an half hour (not an issue) , but when I got there they were just starting to make the sandwiches and it would be a few more minutes ( 15 minutes as it would turn out ). Not a I’m sorry for the wait or offer to compensate or anything. This is the last time I order from this location. App could be betterSandwiches are great. The app needs improvement. There needs to be more options to customize. Like, extra pickles or lite Mayo. The app is fine if you want to order as is but is terrible if you want any kind of customization. I would also like to be able to order a fountain drink. I don’t like bottle soda and can never get a fountain drink. I travel a lot and order most of my food via apps. Not being able to get what I want and how I want it makes me order less from TOGO’S. Not a happy customerTogos had an offer that if you ordered a bottle of a coke product, delivery was free. I ordered & included the bottle of coke & requested delivery. They changed the order to pickup because they said I didn’t order enough items. This is the second time this has happened. Not A Happy CamperI ordered online for curbside order at 6:14 and they said my order would be ready at 6:29. I thought I would be smart and ordered in the parking lot at my job in American Canyon to pick up in Vallejo. I got there at 6:30 and waited in my car for 10 mins. Nothing happened so I went in to ask for my order. I got the “I’m sorry we got busy all at once” speech and I’m gonna make your order right now. So I still had to wait for 2 customers inside the store to get their orders first. Smh so what was the point of ordering online and evening filling out the description of my vehicle? So it’s like 6:50 now she gives me my order and I specifically asked her “both sandwiches have CHEESE AND AVOCADO right?” She said yes all your order is there....NOT! Wrong ItemsOrdered through the Togos app(5$ delivery fee + $4 tip) came late. Ordered a sandwich and a salad. They made a wrap instead of a salad? Lol. No dressing and way smaller then the $10 large chicken Caesar salad I ordered. Wouldn’t be a big deal if they were contact-able! Just use the door dash app so they can handle mishaps right away. Slowest staffThis is like my fifth time ordering from them I’d go there because I love the sandwiches but the people are the slowest there I ordered my food at 11:45 and When i went to pick it up my food still wasn’t ready I waited 20 minutes after the 15 minute already waited! App problemsThis app used to work pretty well, but since the last update it’s been unusable. Sometimes it won’t allow you to place an order at all. I can’t select specific produce without it reverting back to the default Togo’s way which includes salt and pepper. There should be an Other option or a note allowed. And each location has a variety of chips that can’t be selected, because they aren’t listed. How about an Other option? What happened?.Version: 20.22.2020040206

No comment or extra options for certain thingsIt is a poorly designed app that does not allow you to request for certain preferences, such as adding extra vegetables or carving out bread. There is also a character limit with your name if you want to use the loop hole. They also allow you to place in orders even if they close early. Not sure if I can get a refund or not for something they didn’t make, but I paid for through the app. In your order summary, it also doesn’t show the location you ordered from. T SNot happy with the app. Ordered and paid was set to pick up. Realized I want to add drinks and chips. Called store. They couldn’t help me. I suggested that maybe I could go and cancel on the app and reorder with the drinks and chips. There was no option to cancel. So I just decided to keep the order as is and not have the extras. When I got to the store (20 minute later). They told they thought I had canceled! The employee said don’t worry I will make your order. 10 minutes later still not done. This is a Pickup order! I have been exposed to COVID and did not want to expose others. I had to go into the store and get my order. Make sure you check the tip portionThis app automatically adds 18% tip to your order. My large sandwich ended up being $22 because of the extra $3 tip. I am annoyed that this is not an option or makes it more obvious. Not sure if this money is even given to the employees. Freezes constantlyThis is the worst app I’ve ever used in my entire life. It freezes constantly. While trying to place an order it freezes so much I have to keep closing and opening it and it takes an average of 8 to 10 times for me to even get what I want. Plus, I can’t even see past orders. This app is pretty much useless and does not save me anytime, I spent more time trying to order on the app then I would if I just walked into the store and waited. AnnoyingI like the ability to order on the app, but the most annoying part is it always defaults to pick up, the option for pick-up/delivery is in small print at the very end and there is no confirmation reminder to check it. You better remember to check the option or you’ll never get your food delivered. I have done this numerous times. The most recent time I remembered to select delivery before I submitted but then my order is canceled because they were out of a menu item. I had to place a new order and since I have already lost an hour to the first order I am in a hurry and forget to select delivery the second time an hour later I’m wondering where my food is and find out I didn’t select delivery. Auto TipBeware of the app’s automatic tip. That is really not appropriate to do that to your customers. It’s my decision to tip and shouldn’t be a function of the app. I never tip before a service is rendered. How does a customer even really know where the tip goes? When I remove the tip I’m left to wonder if that will result in a negative impact on my order….upset employee so they ruin my sandwich? Raw meatI did a pickup order through the app. Usually I’ve had no issues. Today, however, I ordered a hot #7 (roast beef). When I got back after picking it up, I discovered that it was cold and the meat was pink. Very unappetizing. I basically ate the bread and produce and took the meat off. Extremely FrustratedI ordered online through the app and my boyfriend went to pick it up before he left for work. Apparently the employees don’t actually read the orders they just seem to put together whatever sandwich they feel like. Employees don’t always follow the app orderI have had multiple times where the employee made a different sandwich than what I ordered in the app. Since they don’t give you a receipt when you pick up an order made with the app, you should open the app and ASK what sandwiches they made. Ordering made difficultWhen you go to repeat an order, it takes you to the website and when you go to make the selection, there is no option to continue nor can you choose to stay at the current location you selected. Makes Togo’s look badThis used to work. At this point, don’t waste your time. My card expired, I added new card info, app only retains old card info. The folks at Togo’s act as if they’ve been given no training on how to deal with the app. They don’t know what to do with the three digit check in number when it is given at pick up. I did not get credit for my last 5 purchases! Totally ridiculous. I plan on deleting this app after I finish my sandwich that had to be called in, then paid for by cash. Not for convenienceI have tight lunch break constraints so when I do dine out, I try to preorder my food to save on time. Ordering online with Togo’s on Monterey Rd in San Jose is a particularly frustrating experience. Calling upon arrival does nothing. Walking in the store to pick up my food on time was met with a woman telling me (understandably) that their store was over capacity. Fine. But having to get in line and reaching the counter only to be met with the manager saying they didn't receive online orders and having to wait an additional 25 minutes for him to make me 1 sandwich is horrendous customer service. He should’ve told me their system was down and he didn’t bother to notify anyone to have this reflected in the app. He should have been responsible and told me right as I asked about my online order and gave me a choice to wait like a regular walk in customer. Bad appPrevious experiences with this app have resulted in the wrong sandwich being made. Hasn’t ever happened using alternative “delivery apps”. Made entire order today only to be told the app “couldn’t communicate with the store” to make the order. THEN DON’T LET ME START THE ORDER IF I PICKED THAT STORE. This app would’ve been acceptable in 2013 but I’m modern times it’s a buggy app with better alternatives. Natomas Crossing - we will be shopping elsewhereI’ve never had what I would consider good service at this location. Mostly in the employees’ attitudes. Today I ordered on the app. It said 16 minutes (would be ready at 1:18). I arrived around 1:10. The car next to me got their food around 1:30. I watched people come and go some picking up others placing an order then going. Finally at 1:44 I called to find out about my order. She found it and said it would be a couple of minutes. Sad sandwichesWe just picked up our order and all the sandwiches were put together so sloppy On one of sandwiches the cheese was not even in the sandwich it was just smashed in the wrapper. The guy literally took no care in making our sandwiches. He also went and answered the phone with the gloves on that he was making our sandwiches with and then came back and started making our sandwiches.
