✓ Game playThe game itself is ok. It’s not too hard. As a tomb raider fan from the beginning I brought this game hoping it would be like the first series. To be honest it’s just a normal game with a Lara Croft lookalike. I don’t think it’s worth the money I paid for it so therefore I would recommend spending money on this game..PeePaul.Version: 2.1.11

✓ Sudden glitches?I’ve played this game a number of times since I bought it a few years (?) ago. I enjoy it and it’s a fun way to pass some time when I can’t concentrate on other things. That being said - the last time I reset the game to play again, I got to “Cave of Fire”, #5 “A Restless Chase” and anytime I kill the lizard, the game force closes and I can’t proceed any further. I’ve updated the game, deleted and reinstalled, everything - and still it does this every time. I’m super bummed I can’t continue. ✓ Good game with fatal bugI purchased this game after playing and enjoying Hitman go, and this game is similar in gameplay and equally addictive. Puzzles are challenging at times but introduces the mechanics well so you never feel completely stuck. Would be 5 stars, but I encountered a game breaking bug on the level “the cave of fire, a restless chase” where killing the enemy results in a crash every time. (Playing on iPhone 15 pro max on iOS 17.1). This means I can’t progress any further on this adventure, and there is no obvious way of submitting a bug report to developers. ✓ Well Designed ButFunctionality is terrible. It stalls preventing access to the next challenge and when shut because there is no solution the whole progress is erased and the player needs to start all over again which once done several times is frustrating. It doesn’t save properly no matter if it is on line off line or in aeroplane mode. It could be very entertaining but all the fun is killed by recurrent bugs and glitches which shouldn’t happen on any iPhone. The App Support is very basic and why all of that effort in making a game that cannot be played? More so since it’s not free. ✓ Crashes even after latest Sep 2023 update.Cave Of Fire is now broken - the game crashes whenever you shoot/spear/kill a fire-lizard on any of the chapters/levels within this particular game. But since the latest update and it's expansion, I am able to move on to the next level of the expansion because I am unable to move pedestals. ✓ Not a normal Lara Croft game - don’t bother.Whilst this game uses the Lara Croft character it is a dumbed down version and really rather boring and over-priced. Lara has limited moves: she can’t jump to catch ropes or swim in water and she doesn’t collect medicine kits - just parts of jewelled animals that seem to have no point at all. Instead of an adventure this is an over-priced platform game divided into pretty small areas. You have to work out a safe route to the exit getting past spiders, monitor lizards and a few repetitious hazards. The game is pretty much the same all the way through. You do pick things up along the way but you can’t use them, and after a while it gets repetitive and rather dull. At the risk of being dull and repetitious myself I’d say this game is trading on the Lara Croft name and providing none of the adventure. It is dull, repetitious and over-priced at £4.99 - plus £1.99 for the chests. That’s £7 for very little - I’d rather give my money to a beggar..EleanorQVersion: 2.1.11

✓ GlitchI've played through the whole game on my tablet and the game went smoothly with no glitches and I really enjoyed it but I got to one of the new adventures, The Cave of Fire: A Restless Chase 5 and 11 moves into the level when I tap to kill the lizard the game glitches and takes me out of the game entirely. I tried to play again and it did the same thing so I thought the app needed updates but it didn’t so I downloaded the game on my phone and played through the whole game again and it only glitches on that one level 11 moves into the game when I go to kill the lizard like it does every other time, so I played three more times and the game has been glitching exactly the same time, every time, when I tried about six times..Unknown Person 115Version: 2.1.12

✓ Great game, except the level that crashes every timeThis is generally a 5-star game. But level 5 of the first adventure crashes every time when I shoot or spear the lizard, both on iPad and iPhone (and I know another person who also has it crash on both devices). Also, on my iPad at least, sometimes in the main game it launches to a screen with cryptic controls in the bottom corners (labeled A and B) - tapping anywhere on the screen causes it to crash, and relaunching only brings back the same screen and crash - the only way to get running again is to restart the iPad. At least after the restart I can play on, and (with these annoying restarts) I could play through the main game and the some of the first adventure - I hope that it gets fixed soon and I can re-rate it to 5 stars!.MacCluanaidhVersion: 2.1.13

✓ Keeps crashingWhen I first installed this on an IPad Pro it wouldn’t open. Every time I tapped Go! It just returned to my IPad Home Screen. So I rebooted IPad and it started working. Got through the first book but into the second and, like others have commented, it crashes every time I try to kill the lizard. This is on the Restless Chase. I can’t progress beyond this point. Uninstalled and reinstalled and now having to start again from scratch. This game has been out for ages and the developers should have made an effort to resolve these issues by now.
