✓ Should be easierBuying 5 cupcakes should be easier. I watched 2 other families give up while I entered my data again and again. No integration with the Apple wallet autofill feature integrated with iOS. The app requested my phone number a few times, and then failed to mention my cupcakes were on a special table inside the building. I Stood for 15 minutes waiting and then waiting and then I asked “where are my cakes?”— oh she said, let me get them for you..Version: 20.24.2020041701
✓ Rewards program with a lack of rewardsAs already stated by others, this app is terribly designed. It's hard or impossible to navigate, order, view menu etc on my iPhone. Also: You have to check in to a sprinkles and purchase 15 times to get ONE free cupcake- that is, IF the app wants to work when you're trying to check in. On top of that, you can never use the app if there's a deal going on. I always go to sprinkles and make purchases when they have BOGO cupcakes and am rudely told I can't use the app or check in. Thus, I get no rewards. This is the worst rewards program I've signed up for..Version: 15.4.2015090301
✓ This app is awfulI've used a lot of poorly designed apps before but this one takes the (cup)cake. Nothing is intuitive, it logs you out constantly, and heaven forbid you have a reward to use because it won't let you. It does have no problem treatment payment methods/card info though. ✓ Combined payment options do not workBeen trying to make an order on the app to use a gift card that I received and pay the remaining balance using my credit card... I tried 5 different times and canceled the order out of frustration. ✓ Terrible ExperienceForced to download this app because the Web site’s ordering system wouldn’t process our order. Sprinkles appears to be seizing COVID-19 as an opportunity for distributing an app that has a few usability bugs (white text on a white background?) and a poor ordering process with a very limited selection. We drove here from a reasonable distance, so we’re doing this, but this whole process is stupid and other customers are annoyed as well. This is a bad app coupled with bad customer service. ✓ Bad cupcakes!I was at Disney Springs . I ordered Twice in the same day , once at the store and once online via the app. I was only rewards credited for the online visit not the store visit. The app worked great to order it was too bad that the cupcakes I received were so dried out that with first bite the cupcakes broke in half as if the bottom and top halves were made separately. The cupcakes are too expensive to receive cupcakes that taste like they are 2 days old. I have ordered in other cities that the cupcakes are great. Hope this was a bad day for the bakery and not the norm. I know that chocolate is hard due to a slight over cooking dries them out. I did order all varieties of chocolate, all were bad. ✓ Confusing AppCame to pick up free birthday cupcake reward. Even though it is free you are required to still submit payment info. If you don’t you can’t even place the order. Took us a good 20 mins to figure it out because the kids working at the front know nothing about the app or what they are doing. Just don’t rely on any assistance. ✓ Beyond terrible - can’t even submit feedback!The new app is horrible. You can’t easily see what your point status is or visits year to date. Within the app, I rated the app as “horrible” then I clicked the button to “provide feedback” and the app crashes. That pretty much summarizes this in a nutshell. ✓ Boo 👎🏼So disappointed. The old app is still the better app although it will probably lose support soon. I prefer the older app and I'm still using it. This new app is not user friendly and is not intuitive at all. ✓ Horrible app especially after using CrumblHow hard can this be? It’s an app to order cupcakes but it is so frustrating to use! I pick a day and time for pickup and it shows 2/5 at 1:45pm but below it, it shows 2/6 and wants me to pick a date but doesn’t show any times even though above it shows a day and time. Sprinkles I love your cupcakes but this app is just horrible. Crumbl app is SO easy! ✓ Curbside delivery inefficientThe cupcakes are very nice as usual however it did take 17 minutes to have my order handed to me after I had to move my car from the store front in Palo Alto because the scheduled delivery took too long. I had reasons to have opted for the curbside delivery instead of waiting in the front of the store. After I told the employee what happed he did NOT apologize for the delay or the inconvenience. ✓ Doesn’t function wellThe app is a bit clunky in general - takes you two pages back when you add something to your cart for instance. Even worse, when I tried to place an order for pick up, I split the amount with a gift card and credit card. The totals matched. But when I tried to submit the order, it kept telling me the amounts of payment had to match the total, which they did! I just ended up going to the website and placing the order there. ✓ Clunky UX-The checkout button doesn’t work (tried uninstalling and reinstalling app but it didn’t change anything) -Word choices for buttons are confusing -Layout is confusing. They’d be better off if they had menu icons at the bottom. The top right menu icon changes depending on the page which is inconsistent. -Button and element spacing is strange. Not the best mobile design. Ex: next button text when checking out is so close to the bottom so it is hard to press without hitting apple’s nav bar at the bottom of the page. ✓ Dated AppThe app is terribly dated. It’s not user friendly and the size proportions are pretty dated. What’s the point of the app if you can’t order online via the app? Oh you can’t pay via the app either! (Face palm) Instead the app has an “order online” link which takes you to the website and you have to re enter all your information. Once I’m logged into the app I shouldn’t be 1) taken to the website to order online 2) not have to reenter my information. App has no perk except unless if you order 15 cupcakes then the next is free. There should be more rewards for perks members - have discounts during off peak weekdays and send notifications perhaps? ✓ Not a serious appYeah, the app supports online orders for pickup and delivery. It does NOT meet the modern bar for digital experience. Building a box of assorted cupcakes? The one is out of stock. They “points” expire periodically in a way that seems intentionally unclear so people won’t be able to use them in time. ✓ Liked the old ap betterThis ap is not very functional for my phone. I much prefer the old ap as the menu was easier to see and much bigger to see on my phone. This app terrible in comparison. ✓ App is brokenThis app used to be great. Simple and easy to use. Their most recent update has rendered this app completely useless. Upon opening, it gives an error message: “authentication failed”. So I logged out and logged back in, getting the next error message: “forbidden”. I tried deleting and then redownloading the app. Still the same errors messages occur. ✓ Preorder MixupI made a preorder several days in advance for Mother’s Day for 11 am pickup. I arrive at 11:19 am and they don’t have the order. I called every possible number for the store to get the curbside that I requested and they had a busy tone with every number. I had to go inside and again, they didn’t even have the order. I had requested for the gluten free cupcakes to be packed separately, but they packed them in the same box with the regular gluten cupcakes. It took 15 minutes after arriving to get the order.
