✓ We pay so muchWe pay so much for this game. It does not even load properly. Most of the times there are bugs. You keep fixing them and there come more. We can’t login for days. 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🤷🏼♂️.Version: 2.90.2
✓ Worst game everTo start this game doesn’t get a star rating in my book. When I first started this game back in 2016 with some coworkers of mine the game was fun and enjoyable. Players had nothing to worry about really besides shielding from invaders on kill events. I quit over 6 months ago due to players that cheated and bot accounts; even though the developers said there was no cheating or bot accounts in the game. Every other week there was an epic castle that would come to our kingdom and wipe out everyone who wasn’t shielded outside of a kingdom kill event, which is clearing crap in my book. I started back up on this game less than a few weeks ago and there has been three new updates and one was to add a new hero called Sphinx which the hero takes your troops for good. So not only do you loss resources you now loss troops and that’s all the epic players do and wipe out everyone take the resources and troops and gain a great amount of power in a short amount of time. The developers do nothing about this and they say “we’ve made the game for everyone in fair play and there’s no cheating or bot accounts in the game.” This is a lie and they allow this to happen so they can keep filling their pockets with cash and not listen to the players because they only want to listen to the cash roll in. No matter what actual players say or do they will keep getting robbed and it forces them to quit because of people that don’t care about the players, but only their self gain so I hope other people read this and not download this game because of crappy customer service, developers and down right unfair game play..Version: 2.80.0

These developers are not right! The reward is going to be 200 gold for what? 200 gold will do 0 and has no value at all when you a high level castle. ✓ Quest simIf you enjoy never doing anything on your own and just following a tutorial for an hour this is the game for you. All you do is tap the quest and tap the object and press upgrade. How is this even a game.Version: 2.8.0
✓ Unfair and horrible customer serviceI’ve played this game a few months now and have had several problems. When addressed with customer service. No resolution is made to the customer. This last problem is why I am writing a review. The game offers rewards. Then when you spend many of your resources and gold to receive the rewards. Only to find the rewards have been changed. Back and forth with customer service for a couple of weeks and they still blame the customer. Additional problems: unfair to iOS users. All updates are a week behind for iOS users. Which leads you at an unfair disadvantage. One item can take all your troops and resources that they make readily available for heavy spenders. Translation algorithm is very poor. Game crashes and lags with certain events. And troop can disappear from randomly..Version: 2.73.0

✓ Allowing non account owners to gain accessHello, I have tried to get help many times now with gaining access to an account of mine that the developers/technicians have granted access to another individual that is trying to take my account from me. Everytime my response I get is that they need the receipt of first purchase on the account in order to validate ownership to get my account back. I feel this is a very poor choice of options in which to deem ownership of an account due to lack of ability of getting a receipt from years ago from no longer having access to the said email that the receipt was delivered. There are many other options and ways to go about validating rightful ownership to an account examples: requesting one to provide proof by video and or screenshots of other purchases made on accounts over a period of extended time that nobody had reported account to be stolen and or hack and we all know that a server-sides application has full capability to look back at report claims made within the life of the account given the fact they are even asking for the first purchase receipt made on the game. Another example being that a player deciding to not want to play the game anymore and decides to give the account to someone else and or sell it to someone else and proof could be given of the transfer of ownership by screenshots of given conversations between receiving party and current owner. I’m addition to those options you could also ask for proof of payment if account be sold to an individual that would set new purchased ownership by obvious decision of owner receiving payment and accepting. In my particular case not one time did any one of my attempts to regain access to my account did I even nice get offered an additional method of verification or validation in which I be the owner to my account I am telling them I’ve been kicked off from and given the fact that I’ve even shown proof of conversation of this person contacting Age of Kings support representative/technician/developer talking to them and trying to say they are the owner of my account when they in fact ARE NOT the owner and after stating this to them, access was still given to this person! This problem is huge given the fact that lack of customer service and more than one way of validation requirements aren’t made and not just a request for a receipt that who knows if they had also gained access to that owners email and was able to get there hands on the first purchase receipt with knowledge that this is what is to only be requested. The fact that I have spent huge money within this game as well as others, you’d think that higher precautions and protocols would be in order. I am VERY unhappy with this problem I am currently experiencing and to be very honest I am appalled at the fact that AGE OF KINGS support is now paying near no care to help me with this matter but clearly on top of helping this THIEF gain access to my ACCOUNT!.Version: 2.91.0

✓ Fur coat no knickersThe game is very much a mixed bag. Initially it is fun with an element of strategy however you soon come to the point where lots of money is required to progress otherwise you will always end up losing. There are players who have spent thousands of pounds on their castles and unless you do the same you are stuck. The game in my experience has bugs and flaws and unfortunately support is lacking. ✓ Money or no funI LOVED this game when it first came out and then it became apparent that in order to play and have fun you needed to spend hundreds of dollars to even have a fair battle. Sadly I’m not exaggerating when I say hundreds. I spent some money trying to get ahead to have fun but then one person would destroy me and then it would take all week to rebuild just to be attacked again and start over. ✓ PoorGame has potential , however very poor customer support ... people allowed to use cheats as example k55 ( Chinese alliance used to build invisible gold mine, and get free in game gold ) for days developers and gm's did nothing to stop it , even when had screenshots and videos of people abuse it. They do not creating good and fair environment , chances are if you spend money on this game, you will end up fighting who just cheat their way to top. I give one star , as I felt I am in open beta ... with no support team or gm's .. when you provide them issue downtime for reply is 24 hours so far... and no action taken ...my bad , my wrote to customer support October 26th , reply was nov 1st, best part I did not receive help or answer , just another question lol,will have to wait another couple days lol.Version: 2.10.1

I quickly realized that I owned the game being displayed, Total War Rome 2, which is a brilliant strategy game, I highly recommend it. ✓ What’s going on?Haven’t been able to access the game all day. Yesterday was kill event and no one in the kingdom k75 could deploy troops (attacking, farming, killing monsters and dragons). Not sure if this was isolated to our kingdom or whether it affected all kingdoms. Heard another game by the same devs will no longer be around (Blood Tyrant). Is this one the next to go? ✓ Stole my account/castleI have put over a years work and a decent, I mean decent amount of $$ into my castle. As of 9 days ago, in the middle of a teleport during a KVK event, I no longer have access to my castle. I have messaged customer service daily with little or no response, let alone any answers about why. I just get that it's been handed to the relevant department. Blah blah blah. This game has robbed me of a decent chunk of money and time. If I do get my castle back, I will give it a better review, but until then, save your money and don't waste your time. ✓ Greedy Game DesignersThese guys are in a league of their own. Greedy, uncaring and anti-customer. They manufacture reasons to kill off your troops. Force you to buy gold to protect your hard work, or lose all of your progress. Then, they try to sell you healing resources to regain what they just took from you. The game is completely lopsided and just not fun. Only company who will argue with the customer, even when the customer has provided proof. These guys, and this game, should stay in China.
