✓ I love the game but some things need to change!There are many things about this game that are infuriating, like that most events are too short and far too diamond heavy for anybody (whether a paying player or a free one) to complete it and get most of the stuff from the event without paying hundreds (HUNDREDS!!!) of dollars for the diamonds needed. That is an issue but thats not my main annoyance, i can ignore the money sucking events but what i cant is the fact that the main quest line now seems to be moving in the money/diamond heavy way as well. What i mean by that it is this: I understand the story suits are needed to move forward and i like that but what i dont like is how now every quest needs the “recommended” clothes from momo to get past it. If i use anything but the recommended clothes i fail and it says “blank doesn’t seem to fit the theme” and i can sit there forever trying literally anything in my closet that fits the “theme” (ie like a quest needing cute, sexy clothes) but its never enough until i cough up the cash to buy more diamonds and star coins so that i can create the recommended clothes and move past the quest, because its not like i wasn't playing the main quest so that i could build up diamonds without having to spend them so that id have them for the diamond heavy events. But i end up having to buy them so i can move along in the game and i can win back like 1/8th of the diamonds that i spent to move forward..Version: 2.1.1
✓ Fun but I have a few issues with itI like this game a lot but first I’ll start off by saying I wish you could be notified whenever someone posts in the bulletin and also be notified when the contest is about to start. I will never spend money on a game I find it pointless. With what being said this game starts off amazing and very addictive it has great story line but the more you progress in the game the harder it becomes to complete levels without paying real money. It literally takes me days to finish one episode because you have to have the recommended clothing items or you fail. Second the events are kind of unfair to people how can’t afford spend really money on diamonds. Because the events end before you can save up enough of them. Now you do get some free sets in the game by login and sometimes in the limited section. And I wish the princess levels had more than 3 tries I get it’s supposed to be a hard level but when you only get 3 tries and you need an item from that quest it doesn’t always drop so you wasted your stamina and your chances for that day which is really annoying. Now You can waste diamonds to purchase more or become vip to get more but for someone who wants to remain a “free player” it isn’t possible.Version: 3.8.2

The outfits were beautiful and the game was enjoyable, however, with time, I forgot my password. This game asks for your email and it does NOT store ANYTHING related to the email. I requested a password reset multiple times and I have tried to recover my account, unfortunately, the creators have failed to reply, my password is unrecoverable and I have concluded that the function of storing an email is POINTLESS. ✓ Pretty Good but some flawsI love this game, but there are some major flaws within it. The game is about levels where u dress up for the story and theme. But in my opinion, the outfit i make to go with the theme never wins. When u lose the game gives u some tips, but for example, for a sports theme, THEY RECOMMEND THAT U WEAR A LONG DRESS, WEAR HEELS and other rlly weird combinations for a sports theme. And the majority of the time their recommendations look awful. The game isn’t fun if my outfit that DOES relate to theme can’t compete with some random recommended outfit. Another problem is that in the Arena, when you go against real people to battle over your outfit, you are up against their avatar. When I was playing, I went afk for a while, and if it was online, I would have been kicked out. In the game u choose your avatar, and I quickly realised that ur outfit that u made to suit the theme is up against their random avatar. I was on a really high level and it will take ages again. I’m really disappointed and annoyed because I have spent months on this game and now I have to start over again. I have tried everything I can to fix this but have been unsuccessful. To add, this is not the first time this has happened. Also you need to have a Facebook account to link your account to or you can’t do very much. Additionally you need to be willing to spend an awful lot on this game because in order to get a high score, you need to have outfits and sets that are like £10 - £20 EACH. ✓ AnnoyingI love the idea of this game, as well as the designs and artwork, but all of the things you need to do to advance after a certain point are frustrating and not all worth it. Advancing from certain levels means putting up with the crafting system multiple times, using all your stamina replaying old levels just to get the materials only to realize you need to spend star coins because you don’t even have the required recipes yet - and getting those coins means putting up with the stylist arena, something that would be fun, but the ratings system is put together in such a way that you can easily crush any competition by just putting on any rare item that vaguely fits the theme - rare items that often can only be acquired by paying real life money. Coupled with the fact that the further you get in the game, the harder it becomes to get good ratings without paid suits or items that require intricate crafting, and the only real way to advance is to either have the patience of a saint or to give up and pay real money. The items are beautiful, the story is fun, and putting together cute outfits is satisfying, but it’s a shame that none of that matters when the best way to win is just putting together ugly outfits full of expensive items..Version: 2.0.0

I opened the app again. 😱🤬 I WAS IN HORROR! No login would work! I felt like crying, but that would be too much for a game which can’t be bothered to do anything about Guest data. 🤮 It is like being a Guest is a peasant role. ✓ It’s a pretty good game. But there’s a lot to talk about.First of all, I’ve played this since 2016 or so. I’m not particularly high level or anything impressive, and heres why: it’s a complete pay to win game. It feels impossible to complete most events without buying diamonds (that’s the premium currency) as even a cheaper posed suit is 1500 dias or so. I’ve actually spent a ton of money over the years, but had to try refund a bunch after not receiving money. Apparently purchases don’t work on iPad or something? I remember having to do it numerous times just for a 10 dollar purchase. So yeah, a lot of money wasted. (I now just make purchases via my phone) and I only recently started getting suits I wanted after spending money. Sure, I’m not the best at saving, but it shouldn’t be this difficult. Then, the other main problem: there’s barely any POC suits. Yes, there is different skin tones you can get, but getting a dark skin tone posed suit is really difficult. The posed ones I consider pretty are usually out of my price range. Even just makeups you can craft run you over 300 dias or so, and these are difficult to come by, since as I mentioned, there’s not many. It’s improved since the game launched, but barely. There’s also not that many NPCs that are POC either. I get this is a Chinese game but it would be nice to see more diversity. Also, I do really like this game. Enjoy creating extravagant pictures that allow you to flaunt your creativity and push the artistic boundaries of the game? Starry Corridor was the feature for you. Prefer to satiate your nostalgia and indulge in a simplistic simulator of Flash house decoration games? Home decoration was the place for you. Want to engage with an amazingly helpful community in which you can acquire valuable resources for acquiring the many elusive items in-game? The Love Nikki subreddit was—and still is—the place for you. The rewarding aspect of Love Nikki was an amalgamation of well-designed gameplay, usually reasonable updates and decisions by the responsible developers, and a relatively achievable opportunity to garner satisfaction from the game regardless of what your financial budget was. Unfortunately, Elex’s pendulum has swayed from game optimization to revenue exploitation; the company makes lazy, recurrently inconsiderate decisions (or lack of decisions, in the case of missing updates) that hinder the enjoyment of the game. Players can get banned from communicative venues in the game for expressing their LGBTQ+ identity, yet perverts are granted leeway to brandish their salacious posts—often using the avatars of unsuspecting users—with little repercussions and guaranteed exposure on the front page. Events are increasingly expensive with decreased ways to obtain premium currency—not because the game is taking this direction in general but rather because the global server’s developers CHOOSE to deprive us of welfares/free diamonds that the most favoured server by the head company Paper receives. Newer cosmetic additions to this game are also barred in aesthetic appreciation by the lack of crucial updates that would increase their visibility (HD update) and the overall decline in clothing design that has culminated in multiple unsaturated, monochromatic stylistic clones. I, and most other disenchanted players, understand by this point there is no hope the global distributor will implement the changes necessary to revive this game with the richness it emanated at its peak; at best we can expect small concessions in the form of performative “we are listening!” gestures to assuage the criticism on their public platforms—perhaps even a free dress here and there to claim that we haven’t been completely deprived of dress-up options. Nonetheless, my impression of this game has become so soured that I can no longer recount the positive memories that drew me towards it, and I can only hope that my disillusionment is mostly a consequence of naturally lost interest and not the more jarring issues aforementioned—otherwise, this game is doomed to close in the foreseeable future, and that will be 300$+ in purchases for which I will be eternally mourning..Version: 7.5.0

When, if ever, Elex responds, they do a cutesy half-assed response by “Momo”. I currently have a support ticket which has been open for about a year. ✓ Wiped my 4 year gameDo not download, do not purchase anything from this game. They did a nearly 12 hour update yesterday and when I went to log in with Facebook it has been wiped. The support told me to log into my bound account, I did that’s also been wiped. I was a v9 player haven’t spent a lot of money on this game and have 8k diamonds saved. It’s all gone and the customer support are refusing to do anything. My association team mates can see my account my collection everything but the support is claiming they can’t and don’t do anything to recover it. There are lots of forums of people having the same thing they’ve done the same to everyone who has had the same issue. They’ve screwed over so many peoples and when they do they keep the money from the daily passes that you pay for even when you can’t use them. ✓ Decent app, a LOT of sudden glitchesI love this app a lot? The main problem is that it crashes every time I try to take a group photo now. Not even before I make the outfit, as soon as I press submit, it closes. Also, can you stop changing the competition styling theme in the middle of the event with no warning? Because it always costs me points and I never even notice. You did that with the “dark nebula” theme this event I noticed. It’s why I lost my spot as the person with the highest points in my friends list. I would’ve given this 4 stars if the app was flawless outside of glitches as well, but the problem is that it’s basically pay to play unless you want to sit there for weeks trying to get required sets. The drop rate is too bad for the game to want you to make entire sets at the end of most chapters. I get lucky if I get one drop from the princess level it wants me to get items from. But even if I DO get one drop, that doesn’t guarantee that it’s the one that I want. I always end up spending 30 diamonds because I at LEAST want one drop of the item I want that day, but. ✓ The devs do not care about usThere has been over 2 months of players demanding fair treatment, and no response or change yet to be seen. They keep saying “stay tuned” but nothing has come, and I cannot believe empty words with no action behind them or even a simple apology addressed to the community. ✓ All progress deleted?I love this game and play it basically everyday, I loved all the clothes and the events you could take part in but recently when I went back on I found that all my progress was deleted and that I had to completely restart the game! This wouldn’t be an issue if I’d only recently started playing, but I’d been such a long term player that the amount of progress I’d made seems frustrating to have to try and make back up again! ✓ GreedyI started playing this game when it first came out and I am (was) V8 (deleted the game now) so it’s not just me being stingy with my money lol. But it’s honestly so sad to see the game developers greed for money increase so rapidly in such a fairly short amount of time. The MAJORITY of the rare outfits can only be obtained by paying real money or spending way over 1000 diamonds for the event outfits, the amount of points/tokens needed for each piece of the outfits has also increased. Bearing in mind these events happen after about a week of the previous event ending, meaning that it’s nearly impossible to save up enough diamonds to afford the next event outfits without paying real money. I understand and am fine with free games having a reasonable amount of in-app purchases however, this is ridiculous, the game isn’t even fun anymore. The first things you get thrown at you when opening the game are “value packs” (basically overpriced bs packs that change about once a week (there’s also another one that changes DAILY which pretty much has the same stuff each time just switched up a bit)). ✓ Extremely greedy wanting more and moreWhen I first started playing this game 9 years ago this game was fun and reasonable, outfits only cost $1 or at most $3, and even the you could gain most of them for free by playing. Then slowly the price of the outfits went up, some even up to hundreds of dollars and the free 5+ star outfits started disappearing. Eventually there would be three events at the same time that you can only participate by paying. I wondered to myself, who I stupid enough to just keep spending money on virtual clothes? Not me. So I deleted this game for 3 years. Out of curiosity I decided to re download it to see if this game had any improvements or worth my time, it is funny, actually in 3 years no new content or gameplay was added other then a few more maps yet the prices for outfits are higher. You could keep Facebook but I would be pleased to see that you also have a google account login, since most of my friends actually have that. ✓ Design craft is too hardThe first time I played this game is a few years ago but I deleted it, then I downloaded it again and eventually deleted it AGAIN. but now I downloaded it for the third time and haven’t yet deleted it. The reason I deleted it twice is because I just couldn’t get past the wilds flower suit part. But I finally got past that part yesterday and now I’m stuck on the level where you have to wear chinese swimsuits. The levels name is “competitions: summer”. I keep getting stuck and the reasons are all the same: the design craft is WAY too hard. You have to repeat levels to get items and the staminas will quickly go away, then you will have to wait for at least 20 minutes to do a maiden level once. Not to mention the PRINCESS levels. I play on an iPad since it runs a lot smoother than my phone but the resolution isn’t up to date and the aspect ration is fitted for a phone screen. ✓ I’ve been playing for 4 years and I’m just about doneI’m a long long longggg time player of LN and I’ve spent a fair bit of money on it over the years. I’ve become a part of many online communities about the game and have spent hours and hours playing and building my wardrobe and profile. That’s what makes all of this worse. The global server of LN is essentially just treated like the casts offs for the CN server. We don’t get anywhere close to the same products, the same quality, the frequency of updates. We’re massively overcharged and all of our complaints and requests are largely ignored. I personally won’t be purchasing anything whatsoever until there is significant change and actual engagement and dialogue with the global server and the devs. It just keeps getting worse, and ever since SN was released, the platform has been absolutely dead. The updates have been sporadic and minimal, and we’re treated as an annoyance at this point. I didn’t invest time and money into a game just to have it be abandoned by the creators, who can’t be bothered to listen or engage with the community’s valid complaints. ✓ Good game but...You won't be able to get too far in this game without spending money on it. To play each level you use up stamina, which you can either wait a while to recover, or use diamonds to recharge it, which are purchased through money. You do get gifted stamina and diamonds throughout the game, but not a lot. As you progress, each 'act' requires you to collect a different full suit of clothes to progress to the next act, that eventually becomes really difficult to collect and you're stuck in one act for ages. You end up having to spend all your stamina redoing old levels over and over to get the clothes you need, and end up only a little further towards your goal. Some of the clothes required to pass a level are really expensive, which means you spend a long time redoing old levels just to save up the money for it. This can end up using up all your stamina. This game was really good to start off with, there were so many good features to it and I do really like it, however later on it becomes very hard to progress through it unless you spend money on it. The CN server has about 60 suits, most of which are free, that just don’t exist in Love Nikki to this day. They’ve gone so far as to remove free suits from the latest in-game event that started a few days ago. Why? Why treat servers so differently? That’s right - so Elex can milk international players for more money. Don’t let the pretty sparkles fool you. By all means, play this game, but don’t give Elex any of your money. Typically, these events will cost diamonds, an in-game currency that can be obtained for free. However, the lack of available welfare events--these events give outfits for free, and outfit completion gives diamonds--is not on par with the amount that the Chinese server receives. Instead, there is a continuous stream of outfits that will cost diamonds, and for free-to-play players like me, it gets overwhelming. Many Quality-of-Life updates have yet to be implemented, and even if they are being worked on, there is no communication between players and developers for these kinds of things, and this is not the first time this has happened. ✓ Needs to be fixedOver all Love Nikki is definitely a great game with a load of effort put into it, however it keeps on coming up with the allow tracking sign even after I have allowed tracking or before that, I asked the app not to track me across websites etc. I progressed through the game and came upon a part where I needed to click on another building before continuing my journey, yet the allow tracking sign came up and froze my entire screen not allowing me to do anything multiple times even after I deleted the game, re-downloaded and allowed or disallowed tracking. Unless you don’t spend a lot of money on the game, you will never get the new outfits, no matter how much you tried to play to accomplish the rewards. Otherwise you will never finish the whole set if you don’t spend money and the outfits will always be incomplete. So, the game was design to make the new updates so difficult to achieve, so you end up buying and expend a lot of money if you really like to finish the outfits. ✓ Cant contact developersIve played this game for years. Recently since last new update, the game is impossible to access in the evenings. The prompt is that it cant access the internet & to retry…retry & the same thing happens. Everything else re the internet is fine…so its a game glitch. How can you communicate with the developers when there is no option for english…the only language that I speak. So here I am hoping that by some means this will reach the eyes of a person that may be able to check this out. ✓ It’s addicting but...Hey, this game is super fun and a good distraction. I open it several times a day and I’ve been obsessed for the past few months. However, there are several bugs and issues. 1. I find it annoying that in order to be able to make sure progress is secure you have to log in with Facebook. A lot of kids don’t have Facebook and this is a kids game, and I’m sure parents don’t want to deal with a very upset child. I have a Facebook account that’s connected to this so I’m fine, but I still find it annoying. I think you should try to add google accounts or maybe not have a sign up at all. 2. Several people have talked about this, but I also have an issue with this. Nikki shouldn’t come with a skin color. The skin colors have different features either. 3. This is definitely my biggest issue and something that needs to be fixed immediately: the login page isn’t working. After the update, my app logged out, which is fine because I’m connected with Facebook. However, when I tried logging in it said that it couldn’t connect. I got a new phone and tried putting the app on it so I could continue to play. However, because the game allows you to save your email and password in the login fields, I haven’t used it in some time and for the life of me cannot remember or figure it out regardless of what I try. But of course, every company with common sense provides a method for getting back into your own account, right? WRONG. You are absolutely unable to recover your password or change it once forgotten and will never be able to get back into your account. Since I’m not a FB slave and I have no FB account to promote their game on, I used email thinking it would be ok. I can’t even talk to Support because they barely speak English and are probably running scripted answers through Google translate in order to send butchered replies that are absolutely useless. ✓ Calm down with the diamond eventsI love this game, the story is great and the outfits beautiful, and have spent money on it when I can, but lately almost all the events have been diamond events. Which would be fine if it was one at a time, but there has been multiple events at one time which is just ridiculous. In those you just can’t get all the items without spending way more money than is logical. An outfit in a game should not cost me over $100, that’s just greed. I’m really disappointed in the developers for that. I will no longer be giving a single penny to these developers until they show they actually care about the people playing their game and giving their money to them and I suggest everyone else does the same. The game is enjoyable when people can obtain items both for free or by paying to speed things along. The game is awful for everybody if items are ONLY available to those who spend hundreds and then completely unobtainable to everyone else forever. Awful cash grab strategy and since they’ve been blocking and deleting people for posting 1* reviews on their Facebook page they clearly know they’re in the wrong here. Not a single apology has come from the game developers for treating their fan base like this so honestly, until they buck their ideas up this game is no longer enjoyable to me..Version: 2.0.0

✓ NOT Impressed!Now, before I even begin I must say, no I haven’t even played the app. BUT I have been getting a lot of ads for this game and I must say that I am absolutely appalled by what I have seen. You say that this app is for 4+ but the themes which were coming through in the ads did not seem appropriate for this young age group. The actual game may be completely different but I am just judging by the ads which I have been getting. I am also highly appalled at one advertisement which was shown that showed someone choosing a body type for their character. The options were “Skinny”, “Normal” or “Chubby”. The fact that you are portraying what you deem to be a “normal” body type is disgusting as there is no such thing as a normal body type and this can have a negative impact on people’s body image, especially the young girls who this app is targeted at. As I said previously, I have not played the app and am only judging based on the advertisements which I have been receiving. I am just shocked and disgraced by these advertisements. I hope you read this and consider reviewing your advertisements and changing the age limits recommendations to better suit the themes and content of this app..Version: 2.3.1

I won’t change my review until something is actually done. - We pay more for diamonds than other servers!!! - No respect for players. The devs response to the Love Nikki 2022 boycott was a bowl implying that we are beggars. Rather than addressing the issue that has been here since 2020, no change was made. - Compared to other servers, we are missing many free suits (+66), backgrounds, and tools. - Lack of account recovery options and help. You can easily use your account if your email are hacked, do not bind your account, etc. - Lack of benefit for f2p players. - Ads don’t match the game content.Version: 7.9.0
✓ BugsLately I’ve been having trouble with the app, I reinstalled this game yesterday as I wanted to play this game again but just as I signed in, there were so many bugs with LOTS of things not loading in. I thought it was just me being impatient so I waited ages on the app to see if anything would load but only somethings didn’t load like the events etc so I exited the app and came back after about an hour and nothing was loaded. I thought the app was just lagging or something so I deleted and reinstalled it again and that didn’t change anything, please can you fix this if you can or tell me how to fix it, I’m struggling to actually use the app because of it..Version: 6.4.0
✓ Won’t let me log inI’ve been playing this game every day for over a year and a half and I absolutely love it. It’s so beautiful but it won’t let me log into my game it just puts a loading screen. I’ve spent money on this game which I have never done ever that’s how much I loved this game. I was V4 and I had 2908 pieces of clothing(it’s very hard to get) and i was on chapter 13 but it still won’t let me play, I wanted to see if anyone also had that happen to them so I went to there Facebook account and saw that has happened to other people and they have also spent money on this game. This women is onto her third account because it keeps happening to her which is horrible to hear. So if your thinking about getting this game it’s beautiful but just know that eventually you will be in my shoes..Version: 5.0.0
