✓ Very Disappointing UpdateI really enjoyed this game until the latest update came out. It is shortened from 18 holes to 9. The ad times when you watch a video in exchange for a mulligan skyrocketed to 30 seconds from 5. The pointer to line up the shot is now like it was made for a six year old. Just not a good design. I appreciate the risk, but it feels much more dumbed down. You can still use it though to pass a few minutes pleasantly. Just not as challenging or as pleasant as before. ✓ Satisfactory and moderately fun.The game has solid core mechanics. The obstacles and physics ensure that the game is challenging, as well as entertaining. Infinite Mode quickly becomes far too repetitive, however, as there is not enough variety in the obstacles to keep the game fresh beyond the 100th level. As someone else has mentioned, the greatest flaw with this game is the lack of an X-ray vision. Once the player gets into the 200th or 300th level of Infinite mode, the course becomes littered with different ramps and levels, meaning that if your ball is stuck on a platform underneath a bridge, you won’t be able to see your ball, removing the players ability to effectively aim and shoot. This is a fix that MUST be addressed. If you’re looking for a simple golf game with decently designed levels and solid mechanics, this game fits the bill. But expect a myriad of rage inducing moments with the camera and lack of X-Ray vision..Randy_RoadsVersion: 2.2.6

✓ You should Read this before usingI have been with Vista golf from the very beginning and have enjoyed this game. I sadly could only give this game 3 stars because a recent increase of ads and broken redos. Every time I try to use the redos it sends me into an ad and doesn’t give me my free redo for doing so. ✓ Disappointing UpdateI have been playing this game for about a year and have loved every minute of it. I have got to around 6,000 in infinite mode and this is the only game that I play in my free time. However, this most recent update has absolutely ruined the game. Half of the obstacles have been taken out, the weekly courses have been shortened, the aimer makes taking shots way too easy, and for some reason, I can not rotate the screen when I am engaged in a shot. It has also removed the ability to back out of a shot. I feel like the game has purposely been ruined to make me play the gambling version which is so buggy that you can’t even play consistently. ✓ Do NOT buy; it’s a SCAM!!!Only 99 cents to get rid of ads. I paid; I still get the same ads. This game just isn’t that good. Regardless, this is getting reported. Hey, 99 cents is not allot of money, but it’s no excuse for ripping people off! The game is too slow and the action is forced. Probably has something to do with the ad SCAM. ✓ AlmostVista Golf is fun. These problems with Vista golf could be corrected. The playing surface would benefit with some opacity, so you can see multiple tiers, when a playing surface is directly under another, as what currently is offered. impossible to see where the track leads. Also placing direction of play would make it less confusing to know which direction leads to the hole, “just a few arrows”. Lastly, it would be a nice feature if the infinite course allowed the hole numbers to be changed without having to reload the entire game. An excellent feature is not having innumerable ads. An improvement was the enlarged holes. All in all, a pleasant way to pass time. Addendum: As of mid March, the developers have added a huge number of ads, to the level of lowering my original review from 5 to 2 stars. Unless you are willing to spend more time viewing ads than playing, you must disconnect from the internet. No other changes, and no improvements were implemented. ✓ Decently Fun BUT...Enjoy the game but parts are frustrating especially when you cannot see where you are playing. Final straw was a hole where the ball did not go up a ramp, came back down and hit the end of a bar sweeping across, and the ball stopped - next stroke. Hit and did not go through the windmill and the ball came down the ramp and got swept off. Ball resets but keeps rolling down the last part of the ramp and gets swept off. Stuck in a loop that will never stop. Game over. Tried to quit the game but it opens back in the same loop. No longer able to play, period. Only option is to delete the game and reinstalll. ✓ THIS IS A PROBLEMThis really is a great game, but there is one big problem. I paid to remove ads, it was worth it. BUT, later on, I went into settings, and the option to pay was still there. I hit remove ads again to check, and it tried to charge me again. THIS IS WRONG. Once someone pays to remove ads, you need to remove the option, or at least disable the option. There is also no indication anywhere in the game or the settings that it is paid for. This all tells me that you would be happy to charge people twice. ✓ One HUGE issueI don’t expect games to perfect. This one has some design issues with scenery getting in the way etc. Annoying but still playable. The game was fun enough. It was a satisfying game, not too hard and not too easy. I could play to kill a little time and destress. I didn’t even mind the ads too much, they aren’t that long. But, I finally got to a hole where I needed a redo. So I clicked the redo button to watch an ad for a redo. I watched the ad...no redo. I must have done something wrong, so I tried again, and again. It’d be cool if there were some benefit to paying other than just “no ads” as in ball designs, trails, etc but that’s not an option it seems. I don't necessarily have a problem with ads because they make revenue, but for some reason, this ad never wanted to go away. THERE'S NO CLOSE BUTTON. The only way to move forward is to close, the app, clear the app from recently used, and then get back in. ✓ Shot sensitivity is WAY offI've read the many complaints in previous reviews of the shot sensitivity being off. I figured those reviewers were exaggerating, so I went ahead and updated. Conclusion: They weren't exaggerating. This game is literally unplayable. Sometimes a shot at 15 strength is the same as a shot at 50 strength. There's just no way to play it right now. UPDATE: Devs appear to have given up on this game. Emails to support go unanswered, and the weekly challenges are just repeats of the same holes. Not to mention that the weekly challenges seem to be rigged. Every week I see the same people getting these impossible scores. Multiple holes-in-one. Really?
