✓ Hot garbageThis game is trash. It doesn’t even make sense why someone would make a baseball game like this. The batting view is at an angle so you can’t see if a pitch is too high or too low, not to mention the horrible sliding around the batters box to hit pitches that aren’t in the strike zone (that are often called strikes by the way). The pitching is weird and hard to get used to and even when you do, it just doesn’t feel satisfying to get a strikeout, cause you feel more like you’re winging it. Hoping to get a refund real soon. The free baseball mobile games are much more enjoyable to my surprise..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Too many glitchesThis would be a great game if not for all of the glitches. I’ve had a season with teams with records that add up to more than 200 games played. Also error when the season was finished lead to no playoffs cause the game would freeze! I’ve also had to restart games cause things like batters would disappear or pitchers would throw a pitch and freeze. I’m on a iPhone X with the latest updates btw..Version: 1.0.3
✓ ?Good game lots of fun but really really buggy. When you hit a home run the game will sometimes crash and when you reload it won’t give you the runs. Also if you accidentally log out of the app it will affect the game that you were in, sometimes the textures won’t load, sometimes it will change the team you were playing against and sometimes it will switch which team you were playing on. Also how can you have a national league legends team and not include Willie Mays? Probably worth buying but be aware of the bugs..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Good graphics, awful game-playWhat terrific graphics for the most part for this game. Room for improvement for sure—Aaron Judge wears his pants high, not low—but great strides have been made in player appearance and ballpark details. That being said, that Aaron Judge should have 7 HRs by August is a joke. I’m managing the Yankees, and we must be dead last in HRs in both leagues. It is impossible to hit dingers in this game—in an age where in the real MLB balls are flying out of the park! And Chris Sale is 17-0 on August 2? And how is it that the Red Sox, for example, have played 161 games by August 2 and the Yankees have played 110? Too many foul pop ups, not enough HRs. It’s like the Yankees are playing with whiffle ball bats. Room for improvement..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Fun but too many glitches...This game is a lot of fun but it has too many glitches. So much so that I thought something was wrong with the upload or my phone. From not being to see true league leaders versus by position leaders? What is that? While playing in season mode, I’ve noticed that every team in the league has played twice as many games already. How is that possible? Statically, and realistically, players who should be able to hit homeruns can barely hit them out of the park while you have other players who have little to nothing power smacking them all over the place. Pitchers who are amazing in real life should be able to strike out the lower part of the order instead giving up big hits and homeruns. What is going on with the outfielders making the play of the year for every fly ball or potential doubles and triples? Too many glitches and takes the fun out of playing the game. ✓ Disappointed!Last year’s R.B.I. Baseball game was much easier to pitch to batters. This year’s, every pitch goes into the center for a hit by the other team and it is clearly impossible to win! Other than that, great players, but, needs improvement. I would suggest a cursor to place the ball where you want the pitch to go like in other video games. Also, an easier way to pitch different pitches, like fastballs, sinkers, and such. Because every pitch that I throw is a fastball or stupid pitch. There are clearly other M.L.B. Games that are better than this one this year, like M.L.B. 9 innings, tap baseball and such, and I have had more success with them. Think I am going to stick with last year’s game, which was so much better! You shouldn’t have changed a thing when you had such a great game, but since you did, I don’t want to play it! ✓ Updated NeededIn all reality the fielding is too unrealistic. All the catches both the outfielders and line drives to the pitcher being caught, is mind boggling and beyond frustrating. It eats battery power faster than Ricky Henderson stole bases back in the 80s and 90s and its a very hard game to win on a consistent bases and I play on ‘Moderate’ and have been for many hours. I do appreciate the amazing graphics, roster updates that occur quite often and options for this years version in the franchise mode more so than in past years. Conclusion—> Wish there was a better game out there for us mobile app baseball players. A lot to be desired, unfortunately..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Too Hard, Not that realistic, Some glitches but super coolOn easy mode it’s amazingly hard, no bother playing medium or even hard. The hits for the opponents team are unbelievable. The player don’t look realistic that much, but it is pretty good. In franchise mode you should make an option of no trades. There is still a little bit of glitches. I really think that the calendar and bracket, in franchise and postseason mode are super cool. Other than that the game is fantastic. Just like MLB the Show 19 on PS4.Version: 1.0.3
✓ Good but glitchyI had the ‘17 version of the game and, in some ways, this is an improvement. It’s easier to throw out a base stealer in this version and images look clearer. However, sometimes more than once during a game, it will freeze. When it unfreezes, I have to hit the “Resume Game” button. Frustrating when you have to do that at least three or four times in a game. Also the fielding is off: I’ve thrown to second or third, the ball goes to first. Sometimes I’ll field a grounder and press first base, but the fielder will hold on to the ball. But when the game does play correctly, it plays well. Hopefully, those problems will be ironed out by the time “RBI ‘20” rolls out..Version: 1.0.3

I thought it was something wrong withy phone or something. ✓ Very frustrating1)Don’t get me wrong it’s got good graphics but every game seems pre determined and hitting is the hardest thing to do, every time you hit a ball solid it goes right to the fielder, you hit a line drive at the pitcher and he always catches it (unrealistic) and every time you hit a good ball into the gap the outfielders always make a unbelievable play it’s very frustrating to hit in this game 2) the pitching is so hard to do, you can barley control pitches, if your playing a good team and you throw it in the strike zone they will hit it 90% of the time, either you walk them or they hit a gapper or a home run, it’s so hard and frustrating to win a single game.Version: 1.0.3
✓ Not fun at all!First off, who chose gameplay for pitching and hitting. Awful. Get the strike zone like every other game of baseball, not this horrible moving around the mound and box. Plus, so long as the ball doesn’t cross the batter box, it’s a strike, even if it’s off the plate. Why are there these annoying interruptions that cannot be skipped for homeruns and end of innings? Change that. And easy mode? Forget about it, I’m lucky if I can get to first base at least twice. The AI will catch everything and run to the ball as fast as a cheetah. ✓ Honestly a horrible game, DO NOT BUYThere are so many bugs, they should’ve waited longer before releasing this one. Players run through bases that aren’t 1st and get tagged out despite beating the throw. Also the game conveniently lags in time to make sure you can’t hit certain pitches. Love the RBI Baseball games but this one needs A LOT of work (that they’ll probably never do). Also this game will make your phone overheat and cause the game to lag (thus making it impossible to beat the computer that never lags). ✓ Good, not greatI love having a mobile baseball game that I can just purchase and not have to worry about in game purchases. I have a few things that would be nice additions down the line. 1) Pitch selection. I like games that allow you pick a pitch type, then select location. This feature would be great! 2) More home runs. This is a video game. Home runs are fun! I’m doing a franchise, and 85 games into a season my leading home run hitter has 13. That’s kind of lame for a simulation game. 3) I know this is petty, but I like realistic stats. Relief pitcher’s ERAs get affected by runners on base that should be charged to the pitcher who allowed them on base. (I know, I’m a geek) Also, sacrifice flies count as at-bats, and they shouldn’t. 4) The league leaders page doesn’t allow for overall view, only breakdown by position. By position is a cool view, but you should be able to see all batter is you want that view! Overall, a very good game, smooth graphics and decent game play. ✓ Too many flawsThe game has countless flaws. I just played a whole season and now I cannot proceed to the playoffs. I get a blank screen when continuing my franchise - no menus or game options load and I’ve closed and restarted multiple times. The mechanics are rough and glitchy. The stats system are poorly designed - you cannot see overall MLB stats, just by position only. I.e. if you want to see who has the highest ERA/BA/OPS you have to stack rank them position by position. I’ve struck out multiple times on a second strike only. I can go on and on. I could tolerate poor mechanics but wasting a whole season and being locked out of the franchise completely now without a playoff ruins the game for me. As for desired enhancements after you fix the mechanics: Ability to edit players, player creation, minor league system with draft to help build the alleged “franchise”, and scouting system. I understand these are wishful but plenty of games have accomplished this before..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Pauses in the middle of gameI was playing a franchise game when al of the sudden the game paused. I restarted my phone I deleted all of my tabs. I tried everything but the game would not un pause. I finally had to restart the whole game. RBI also needs to have better graphics. Sometimes a player will jump up in the air and the ball will be nowhere near him and it will be an out. ✓ Good game, with some issuesOk. So first off, when ever I open the game, It will ask me if I want to continue the game I was play When it worked, so if I click Yes, It will literally freeze. The game just breaks at the same point every time I try and play it. If I click no, the same thing happens. I can’t even get into the game without completely breaking or freezing. ✓ Could be better, but it’s fine.Ok I’ll start with the bad. First off, there are so many hits that should be gappers or a double but the outfielders make a once in a lifetime play. It just doesn’t make sense and is unrealistic. Second, why make everyone advance a base on the base running pad? I had a sing up the middle with a man on second and I send him home. He should be safe at home but both runners advanced a base and they just throw to second before he can get home. It’s just frustrating and makes it a whole lot less fun. Also, if you could add a home run derby mode, or a MyPlayer type of mode would be cool too. And now, onto the the good. It is the only MLB licensed game and it is fun when it works. I really like the idea of a Legends Team. The postseason mode is very fun and intense (probably my favorite part of the game), once again when it works. ✓ Excellent Baseball GameThis is the best simulated baseball game there is in the mobile market. There is no other game that will give you real life replicas of the MLB stadiums, real looking players and up to date stats on teams, players and rosters. There is no other game that compares. And I am very excited to say that. — HOWEVER, this game pulls A LOT of RAM on the phone. Causing it to overheat to the point where the screen has to dim to 50% brightness to keep it cool. I have yet to play a playoff game because the game freezes at the beginning of the post season, and I’ve made it a few times to receive the same outcome which is frustrating. And there are bugs on the game that can be fixed. This is an excellent game, I just wish it was more friendlier to my battery life, the RAM and getting rid of the bugs. ✓ Good game but a few flawsThe game is really well made and I am glad to have found a licensed baseball game. With that being said there are a couple of flaws that come with it. First of all long loads especially after simming through the entirety of a season in franchise will freeze your game. If you try to close app and reopen your game your franchise and anything saved to it will be essentially just broken. Another problem I consistently see is that the game often lags or loses frames mid game and that becomes frustrating, because it mainly happens when batting and it becomes a challenge to make contact with the ball..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Overpriced and glitchyWhilst this is a fun game and quite addictive it is not good value for money and there are glitches all over it. Some of these include, at certain times I can only throw a breaking ball whilst pitching, sometimes when the infielders attempt to throw to base it’s really slow allowing base runner to be safe and in Franchise mode my team has played 160 games all the other teams have played around 200!! And now after completing a regular season in franchise mode I can’t go any further, no playoffs, no new season just a blank screen.... I emailed for some app support about 10 days ago and again to enquire about a refund after being ignored! Still being ignored and still have an app that doesn’t work!! ✓ Needs Some WorkI like the game, it’s really fun to play. The big problem I have is with season mode. If you play the games, the other npc teams will play more than 162 games in the season. It’s really hard to actually judge the rankings of other teams are playing 200 games a season. Also, can we incorporate other modes? Derby, all-star game, stuff like that. And you really can’t control the pitches that well. Would like more advanced control for that. Update: I made the playoffs in my season that has all the errors and it has contributed to my not being able to load the franchise in the playoffs, resulting in me restarting that season. ✓ Fun and frustrating. Needs workThis game is a lot of fun IF you put the time in to learn how it works which isn’t easy. You need to learn how to find the overall for the person and then individually go through everyone which begs for some form of easier way to view player overall so that you can make quick and easy adjustments and additions. The batting is a mix of awful and awesome. It feels realistic not pre decided like most games, but it’s nearly impossible to hit without 200% attention. You’re going to swing late for a while and not hit anything worth crap. Swing early, you’ll start figuring out the timing. My biggest problem is battery drain. This game is unplayable for that reason alone. Played two games, while charging my phone on the computer, dropped 28% battery. Went to the bathroom and changed my lineup and looked at free agents for 3-5 minutes and lost 16% battery life. This thing EATS battery and until that’s solved, it’s basically a frustrating battery draining simulator..Version: 1.0.2

✓ RBI Baseball 19 - The best is yet to comeI’ve played two games so far, and I feel that this year’s edition is a vast improvement over years past. The addition of a groundball/fly ball feature in batting is very smart, and the batting experience is much better because you make far better contact. That said, the groundball/fly ball feature should be separated from the movement control by simply motioning up or down on the screen, and the movement in the batter’s box should be locked before a pitch can be thrown. Pitches should use motions similarly to batters, separate from the movement control. I’m also still waiting on cpu-initiated trades in franchise mode as well as player customization. While I still feel this franchise has years to go in the minors, there are enough improvements over the past few years that this game could be merited a call-up to the big leagues, were it a ball player. Then after the 8th inning, the AI will somehow always score just enough runs to beat you by one. It seems exciting, so you come back to try again. Then the same thing happens. It gives the option of what pitch I could use rather than direct a speed pitch it makes my most elite pitchers look like they belong back in the minors lol but overall fun game, I would personally just change how the pitching works. ✓ Can’t HitIf you like really really realistic baseball don’t get this game. I have played many games now and here is my take. 1. Pitching doesn’t matter throw anything and the computer will do what it’s going to do. I just throw normal speed over the middle less chance of home runs and you get lots of outs. I have even struck out batters this way. Tried all the other pitches they still hit it. 2. Runners are all slow and they all run at the same speed. Triples are impossible without error. 3.fielding is okay outfielders are all golden Glover’s. 4. Hitting is probably the most realistic for me for it is very difficult. If the cpu wasn’t so good at hitting everything you pitch it would be okay. 5. Controls pretty good and intuitive. With all these things wrong it is still fun to play. ✓ The Game is OkayThis is a very well made game, the graphics are amazing for a mobile game but it seems like they put to much time into the graphics than stuff to do. You only have the option of playing a quick game, franchise, or post season, now I know this is a mobile game but I feel they could have put like a Road To The Show type game mode like in MLB The Show games. There also isn’t much to do in the actual games you play, with hitting you have just select a bunt or swing and than press a button and swing, and don’t think you’ll be hitting hone runs right away, timing is so hard in this. Fielding isn’t much better, if you set your outfield controls to manual, unless you’re a god you miss 70% of the fly balls because it is impossible to track where they land, and in infield it auto fields ground balls and all you do is select a place to throw. ✓ A Tough One to JudgeOn the one hand, this is much improved from previous years. They’ve come a long way from ‘15. It’s a solid mobile game and is easy to knock out an inning here and there. That being said $7 is a lot to spend for a mobile game that is a bare bones baseball title. I feel like you get a deeper experience with MLB Manager, for less, even though you don’t play the games. ✓ More realisticThe hitting and pitching can be smoother but what I like about this game is the hitting miss more realistic. Batters can actually get bloop hits. They can hit balls down the line that will actually curve around the base into foul territory. Balls actually can go over outfielders heads. Fielding is a little better. You can actually throw away balls from the outfield when you throw it in allowing the runner to advance another base. The double plays are slower to turn which I think is better game play. Base running is a little better you can now move runners over from second to third on grounders to the right side. It's still hard to get a double on a ball hit down the line. It's still hard to score from second on a base hit but it is better. It's actually a little better going from first to third on a hit, the runner no longer pauses at second. The problem I have with base running is that it's hard for a runner to score from second on a base hit or the batter is limited to a single on a ball hit off the fence. I would like to see less line drives at the pitchers and maybe have runners move a little faster but it's better than the last version. I have played approximately twenty games and that is what I've noticed. I played on the hardest and my hitters are hitting over 390, so that's not realistic I would love to see it more now difficult to beat the computer in season mode..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Graphics Good / Gameplay BadCan’t give this game higher than a 2-Star rating because the gameplay is so unbelievably poor. Both Stars I gave it were 100% due to good player and ballpark graphics, but without decent playability, those graphics go to waste. Pitching controls are worse than my Nintendo from the 80s. Pitch selection and location is almost non-existent. Batting is terrible, which is ironic, because MLB’s Homerun Derby App has a really fun batting interface, which would be a welcome improvement to this app. Why not keep the same hitting interface across both apps? I’m running this game on an iPhone XS and have severe overheating after only a couple of innings of play, followed soon after by video/command lag that very obviously affects gameplay.
