✓ DecentIt’s a good coop game with a lot of issues to fix. first the durability of the weapons and the armer is to low they breaks so fast and takes 24 hours to fix. Also the game glitched and I lost everything the reaper tables weapons I bought etc I was level 40 and I lost everything I spoke to the support team they haven’t done anything. I asked to buy an other repair table but still nothing it’s frustrating. It’s almost a year now and they haven’t done anything so be careful in how much you spend in the game.Version: 1.13.151
✓ Lost all my progress this morningHi guys In fact I do like this game and I actually spend a lot of money in It .. today when I woke up my account was reboot to level one .. why ? I don’t know I’m trying to contact the support they just don’t answer . So I lost all my progress after spending more than 1k$ I’m playing on iOS with Game Center it shouldn’t happen I just don’t get it So I would say to all the new players that u guys have to be carful cause the support is not helpful at all and u could loose everything in a click so .. one star for this game who seriously need a good support team and take care of customers ..Version: 1.5.52
✓ Game is okay. DELETED!I don’t like the pvp aspect of this game only because there are people who sit in an area and wait for you to come by. And there is no way to advance without getting a piece of that map. Should have more non pvp maps. Should make it not possible for people to steal or delete your stuff, and the game is very redundant if you have only 2 maps you can play on “peacefully”. Even stronger players on there are gathering up all of the monsters and just walk by you when you are chopping down a tree or mining for ore and drop all of the monsters on top of you and then your dead and they can take your loot. Pvp has made this game unplayable, and I refuse to spend any more of my time playing this game. No one wants to help you, your family can only be as big as 4. There aren’t any other families that are active. Make a family, then make a clan? No way to have friends come help you on a map that’s labeled pvp. No trust with anyone, can’t get good gear without making it to the pvp areas and surviving. Those who have played this game for years, don’t leave the newbies alone. Made it to level 59, had all purple gear, full health and someone comes and hits me once and I’m dead. Just not worth my time anymore. Deleted!.Version: 1.21.10
✓ Lies about Easy zonesI just started this game and yes being a total noob sees I can do a scout. I though why not and go for it. It says it’s supposed to be one skull (easy). But no! Every stage you get raided by more and more monsters to the point where you can’t even get the stuff you lost. At one point I ended up spending my money, but purple gear did absolutely nothing! (It’s supposed to be the best gear). How do you except people that are lvl 10 to defeat 10 monsters at once!? It’s impossible! I was thinking oh I’d get hit by 1-3 at a time but all the way up to 10!? It’s utter nonsense! And nvm mind the fact that I was going solo! They should be aware that some noobs like to go solo. I thought this was a decent game at first. It’s a hard game but it’s downright annoying when they say your ready for a quest when your clearly not even equipped to defend yourself. ✓ Fun with great potential but huge shortcomingsThis is the best I’ve played so far of all the similar games out there. Great content, variety of difficulty, good crafting, etc. However, the only way I’ll be able to continue playing this game long term is if the devs ACTUALLY LISTEN to what all of these recent reviews are asking for: more PvE-only zones, options to obtain good gear besides real money purchases, and the ability to fully disable PvP. In order to make progress in this game, you have to PvP. They don’t give you a choice. I understand to some extent, but the fact that casual players could at any time lose everything to a high level group of raiders, even if they’re offline, nearly ruins it for me. That’s fine for those who want it… but clearly, a large portion of us don’t. Also, the store is soooo mind-blowingly expensive. For a high quality mount, you’d need to spend $50+ on the game. And then if you want purple (max tier) gear after that, you’ll need to spend another $20. I would be willing to spend a bit more than usual on this game if the devs would make it clear that they value the input of their players and make an effort to make this game as fun as possible for as many people as possible. ✓ Trust me don’t play this game!This game is fun and addictive. Which is what they are relying on. You HAVE TO spend money to be strong enough to survive and even then there are always stronger players who screw you over while “trading with you” kill you and take your stuff constantly. Also unless you have three other friends who are willing to spend money you can’t progress well either. You put in a ton of work to build a strong camp but every 90 days you are forced to participate in raids where rival players destroy your camp and take all the stuff you’ve gathered! Unless of course you buy orbs of protection to give you a couple more days. This company DOES NOT care about their players and they don’t have to. They are raking it in from all the pay to players and the poor naive new people who spend money only to get mad and quit having lost all the money they invested! ✓ Buggy and unbalancedI played for a while, but summoned a den of monsters. The third or fourth wave proved too much for me and I died. It seems that every time you die, it summons another set of monsters on top of the ones already there, so if you run back in to get your stuff and die a bunch of times, eventually you can’t make any progress in there because the “first hit” (actually about 20 monsters stacked on top of each other swinging once) kills you. There is no chance to get your stuff, because even if you do, the timeout to flee the room is too long and you are dead or the attempt fails and you are then dead. Not fun Another problem is that basic equipment to participate in a class such as healer has to be made. Without it you can’t cast healing spells and it involves rare ingredients. So, once you lose your staff of whatever it is, you can’t play the class anymore, and are back to being meat for monsters. Deleted the game and went on to find something better balanced..Version: 1.3.32

✓ No longer playableWhat a shame, after a great start and a positive review my iPhone 11 Pro no longer plays well. Constantly restarting and resetting resulting in losing everything. No support on this issue so no longer playable. Shame Previous Review: Played the Zombie version but this is far more fun. Lots to craft, build and places to explore. Nice to have NonPVP areas and the District is a great idea. Families also seem a great way to group up however I’m constantly getting removed from them so have to wait until I can join another. Some improvements please: - Non Family Raids such as dungeons to allow easier access to role-play and rewards. - 7 day reward scheme (already mentioned) - Better repair table. Takes 24 hours per item regardless of rarity or durability. - More rare resources in the hardest areas. - More ways to earn Silver. ✓ PvP in orange maps needs to be fixedHi, Having seen many comments on this issue from previous years, I am not sure if I could expect things to be better now. I think many free players could relate to the experience of spending many hours gathering resources, items to craft decent enough weapons and equipments for soloing tombs in orange maps, only to be killed instantly upon arrival by some dude wielding flaming sword and lighting bows. That’s hours of grinding going into smoke in seconds by players who obviously don’t even need the simple weapons and equipments we craft. It’s simply frustrating, and I don’t know if the word “rare” means something different in the game world of Frostborn, because player skirmishes (or massacres, to be precise) in these solo orange maps are definitely NOT rare. I really think this is a cool game and one of a kind. But regretfully I have to walk away, it’s just too frustrating, and at least for me, feels like being bullied again and again. ✓ The bugs are a abomination!!!Been raided while having a 24 shield after just having bought the orb of protection and using it, we was full raided while not online and lost almost every thing, and guess what still don’t have a shield, paying real money just to have your things stolen due to bugs and glitches in the game is disgusting and still no reply after putting in a ticket with all information time and pictures, if you check from your game side you can clearly see when I bought the orb and used it but still get fully raided what joke is this? ✓ Where to begin. Wow.This is one of the most frustrating games I’ve ever played in 37 years. This game is a top down fixed view fantasy combination of several survival games and it’s a complete and utter mess. You can basically just buy good gear and steam roll people. Tons of absolutely wasted potential. I don’t know if it’s better later on with perhaps a good clan or whatever but I’m tapping out at settlement lvl 32 simply because all I do is collect wood and stone, and get PKed whenever I venture anywhere more lucrative, losing anything I had on me. Great. I had basically built everything I could at my camp (your camp is where your actual base is), including x2 of most crafting stations, gardens, a large segmented wooden fort, etc. did the math to upgrade my camp to stone and just said nope. What’s the point? I can’t really do much else. The game doesn’t really explain any details either. It seems purposefully vague just to get you to spend money. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Gear falls apart way too fast, craftable gear is junk in general, important items for pretty lousy stuff are crazy rare. It’s just ages of effort for like no payoff. Oh and it’s not fun. ✓ Offline raidsFor some reason I thought I'd actually like this game so much but unfortunately thats not the case due to offline raids. It isn't fair that the moment you decide to take a break, you might be the victim of an offline raid, you might've put a-lot into this game getting good weapons and armour and all of a sudden you come online to realize you are missing most or in most cases "ALL" your loot 😅 And also the fact your armour dummy can be robbed is totally dumb!.Version: 1.21.10
✓ Don’t ever spend money!The game itself is much like any other survival game, which can be a good thing! But there are some small issues that support don’t seem to want to fix (once they get your money, they don’t care) After spending some money for some items, I went to a non-pvp zone, and then all of a sudden someone came out of a bush from camping, waiting for other players it seems, killed me and then stole all the items I just purchased. I didn’t keep them safe as this was a non-pvp zone, so didn’t expect it. So it seems another player managed to steal €15 from me in an apparent safe-zone. This is a f2p game with p2w features, so if you did want to play for free “it is possible” farming red zones when p2w players are in the game will more than likely become boring quite fast. Truce feature has ruined the game for raiders. Player based drop quite a lot it feels. Nothing to do with being in a family you can play solo or as a group. ✓ Very hard game for startersI just downloaded the game one week ago and unfortunately I’m disappointed about the way they do things in this game . The matching between raids should be made by class points invested not lvl . As to lvl-up is way easier than gaining class points and when you get raid by players with 100k points class and you just started playing and you have maximum 2-3k points is pretty unfair . To get points is very hard as you need to play a lot on tombs where PvP is enabled . Season is very hard too for new starters and can’t be done at 100 lvl without purchasing or playing 24/7 all season . Please my advice if you want to get this game somewhere . Let the starters get their way in the game . Don’t block them on PvP against unfair battles and raids where they can’t defend , let season be easier so they can also buy the premium part and make the game a fun environment for everyone. ✓ Want to love it!It gets very Grind worthy… unless you buy marks it’s hard in many cases to get decent loot as the pvp sections people are always killing eachother Armor and weapons really need a better/more efficient way to repair… not only do you have to purchase coins for a repair station but it takes 24 hours ?!? Should be timed different according to the rarity of gear… smh I really want to love it, it’s fun. But after dumping hard earned money into the game to only lose it all to the guy with the bigger piece. There are far too many Bullies, not any good way to get help. Everyone is trying to get their bases and characters up. The decent areas are all pvp only. There’s no escape from losing hours and any dollars you put into the game in 2 seconds. Me and my friends just participated in a raid, and they matched us with players that were WAY to high in level. The compatibility between family’s was non existent! These raids are forced on players and that’s not right. There was a time that you could choose to raid. Then you guys made it mandatory. Then you can get thrown in a raid while you aren’t even online!! This is utterly ridiculous. I’m honestly thinking about deleting the game because we are at low levels right now and got pretty much destroyed. The player that came over to raid had such a high hit power that 2 hits took us out……. ✓ Hopefully gets changed/fixedI Would like to start of I enjoy the game for the sense it’s a base building survival game and doesn’t have a capped amount of energy for travel like other games. I enjoy the game as a fun to play game which is why this is 3 stars. The debatable 1-2 stars is that the app on iPhone says it’s compatible with MacBook with a M1 chip and I have one and can’t play it because it’s not compatible. Secondly the season, as a college athlete playing the game in my very little down time it’s impossible to get the season and be able to finish it without spending more money. You give 19 days for 60 levels with a maxed amount of points per day with possible 1 extra day to get another 350 points. If I spend $5 on the game yes it should be grind for the items. Yes, it’s only $5 but it shouldn’t be impossible to achieve it if you can’t sit and play for the 24hrs given for 18 days straight. Hopefully there’s more time added to keep players around and hopefully it can stay a fun FTP game but have items to buy to help progress a little faster..Version: 1.15.56

✓ The game has vast potential, hasn’t been properly executed yetI liked the game a lot, but a lot of things weren’t explained properly, and I felt kind of aimless. I run out of inventory room constantly, and I don’t know what most the things are, or what they do. An item explanation of things you pick up would’ve been extremely useful. Or a pop up telling you what things are used for, something of that nature. I think that the concept of having a survival type game with mmo type player settlements and interactions is interesting, and raiding other countries and battling mythical creatures along with that is a very cool idea. ✓ PotentialThe game is fairly good. The concept is great and there are a load of things to peak your interest. Levelling up, exploring new places, gathering resources and building your base are all key features to enjoy. However, the developers need to realise there is one key downside to the game. In order to progress further in the game, you need to go to more dangerous places where greater rewards become available… that’s fine… but there is an added danger of PvP. The PvP element could work so much better if it was levelled or capped. Rather than allowing a HUGE difference in level between players in the same region, there should be a level system or a matchmaking system to stop a player with 750+ strength being able to farm from the new players who are barely above 150 strength. It becomes so demoralising when you’re trying to go to more dangerous places to gather better resources needed to make progress, and you end up being farmed by players who have 5x your strength and kill you in one shot from a distance. If this can be fixed/tweaked, the game would be so much better..Version: 1.15.56

✓ Don’t pay!!!I bought the premium £8.99 so I could get better weapons to raid tombs and level up. I put on my epic armour and weapon headed off to a tomb and completed it. When I left the tomb I was attacked by another player they stole all my epic gear and everything I had collected. Their attack was 500+ mine was 200+. Why would anyone want to pay actual money for someone else to come along and steal all their stuff!? ✓ Opinion from endgame ftp.Everything about this game is brutal in the best and worst way. Leveling and raiding are unforgiving but very rewarding. I’ve never found the same amount of pure adrenaline and despair in any other game I’ve come across. Your goal in this game is to farm enough pve so that you can successfully raid bases in pvp. Pvp is the true endgame 100%. You can be competitive in this game as ftp but it is a very long road of hardcore dedication. Any experienced player will tell you the gear is the easiest part to get, the challenge comes in time gated crucial character and base upgrades. Expect 6 months of dedicated play to start becoming competitive in raids and another 6-12 months to be able to raid top families. This time gate is mainly learning to craft the required lockpicks and bombs to punch through bases. There is heavy p2w in this game but at endgame it’s bypassing very long time gates and base upgrades, as gear is not an issue. I enjoyed my time here with the friends I made but in the end it took too much time from my day to keep up. If you are on the fence about this game, ask yourself “am I ready to be hardcore?”.Version: 1.21.10

✓ Mostly goodThis is a great game with lots of fun content. I have played other similar games including last day on earth but there has always been something missing from those games. I love the class system that requires you to give gear to it because it means you can’t just sit on wealth a few weeks after you start playing, you have to actually survive and I love that. One of the other main things that I love about this game is how the other players keep raids and pvp interesting every time. I would be giving this game a five star review but I just hate how it is possible for two players that are both as good as you can go up against you in raids it is completely impossible to fight them off. Im a solo player and just lost all my good loot to a team of two players and it will take me many hours to get that loot back. ✓ Good game until you get disconnected from the server and get killed while reconnectingSo, I’m a solo player. I recently started playing again after I quit because of this one issue, which is that monsters can still kill you when you’re reconnecting to the server after disconnecting. I know that the devs probably can’t help the constant server disconnecting, but it would be nice if you’d load back into the game on the world map rather than in the zone you were in like with other kefir games, rather than being killed by a boss you had on low health while carrying all your valuables or some weak draugr that you couldn’t defend against. ✓ Great game except for bulliesGreat game play, and lots to do to keep you busy and coming back. Except that there is no regulating on pvp areas you need to go to to produce certain items to level up the district which can allow you to create other stronger items. If I had a dollar for every time someone twice as strong just kills me while I’m mining copper I would be able to afford to just pay actual dollars to get actual copper, and aggressive mode is a joke. You end up wasting hours of adventure and mining fun when a stronger player just comes out of no where and takes every thing. What the devs want you to do is just pay for the items, this is a simple frustration buy technique I unfortunately have succumbed to because you’ve spent so much time mining something or getting ready for an adventure or finishing an adventure, only to get killed by stronger players and take everything. Turning the green woodland area(Forest of whispers) into a multi zone was a very poor choice. Even if it it’s to counter farming of season points. People will idle in the zones after mobs have been killed and chests looted just to stop others from gaining resources. This forces players into pvp zones which they will get killed instantly for anything they have on them. Upgrading your classes I’d almost impossible unless you spend money on weapon packs as they give very little mastery points. My suggestion; turn green zones back into family only. Add a mid tier that can be chosen to enter as passive of aggressive/turn off the ability to switch in zone because regardless of your status someone can still attack you if they decide they want to. ✓ To hard to live, very bad gameOn multiple occasions i have gotten good gear but then died due to overpowered monsters in easy locations or completely unfair raids. I usually don’t manage to get my gear back. When you have nothing it is too hard to get materials because of the monsters you have to fight while collecting materials, it is usually not hard to win. Fight with a monster in a green location weapon-less. However, After many fights with weak weapons you can’t afford to fight again because you have such a small amount of food when you have to re-start. This is why natural regeneration should be added. Everything is great about the game but the one thing it needs to make the world of a difference is durability! The PvP system is terrible. Players will pay to get high level gear and then ambush other players while they are gathering resources. Then they will steal the items you need to progress further in the game. Even if you have better gear than them or are a higher level they will just run around until a bunch of enemies follow them then they will lead them to you so they will be attracted to you and finally kill you. ✓ Good game but needs work on the pvp areas.I like how the game doesn’t hold you back by energy requirements and the resources to create items are reasonably available. But my biggest frustration is the pvp, it’s full of trolls. Even in the pve areas people are aggroing mobs and rushing them on you. It would be nice if the character who aggros the mob would remain its focus unless someone else attacks it. It’s also frustrating when other players are hiding in the grass waiting for you to kill all the mobs in a dungeon till they pop out and kill you and loot all you stuff. And I mean all. If they were remotely around my level and hear score that wouldn’t be an issue bc I would stand a chance. But they are OP PTW with equipment that one hit kills me. There needs to be a system that matches a relative gear in that area. IE I go in as the first in with a standard bow and cloth armor, the strongest I can make at my level and someone with plated armor and metal rare gear shouldn’t be on the same map server. It would also be nice if one of your three weapons and maybe your top inventory row would review with you. If I wanted to play darks souls I would play dark souls not this. ✓ Game is great! Needs MORE and a NEW TEAM of developersI love this game! My friends and I have a blast playing. When I first started it was very exciting it seemed like a very new game with lots of unfinished aspects to come soon. However, as time went on and with each update the developers did not update the unfinished aspects, they instead added new things in the game such as new zones(with unfinished aspects) and seasons. The season idea was great but lf course it was also filled with tons of flaws. The game is built for a person who is able to play 12 hours plus a day. The new season was practically impossible if you were to only play the game with normal play. The only way it was possible to finish is if you spent hours upon hours doing the same thing over and over and over again - which of course makes the game incredibly boring. Lastly the developers need to fix the raid match up system. I am in a family of four and for the past two months EVERY SINGLE raid we have done we have matched up with a solo player who is no longer active and the base has already been completed raided. I truly miss the games you could be good at without paying. I invest money just to lose everything on an outmatched PVP fight, after progressing it gets more difficult to play without investing and it takes the fun part of it away. It is very strict on having to use your money to enjoy it and this will ultimately will impact the players on just not playing it. It is better to have many players investing a little here and there than losing the players who are willing to because it is just too much. I would really love to keep playing it but after losing $20 to a random fight in less than 5 minutes really ruined the experience for me..Version: 1.9.6
✓ Pay to win at its finestThe very definition of pay to win, there’s no level capping in pvp and you have to go pvp to get stuff to be able to upgrade stuff because none of it iscraft-able unless your max lvl uninstalled. You literally are looking for gear and you have to take good stuff and then you just get someone with a maxed out char hit you in 1 pointless game.Version: 1.15.56
✓ Robbed me off moneyI enjoyed this game to begin with, and could not fault it. But, after purchasing the premium for £10, the server crashed and my village etc disappeared, I have proof of all of this. I contacted the team, and they told me that they could only recover my account if I moved to another device. Before hearing this I had already started a new account, and was asking that they simply refund me, so that I could re purchase the same as before, but they are ignoring me and not refunding me. Please be aware. I know it’s only £10 but it’s the principle off a company. I don’t trust companies that rob their customers. I will be reporting this to Apple as well.Version: 1.5.53

✓ PVP kills itIf you are new then you will constantly be killed by players with advanced equipment and powers. So much so that doing anything in a pvp area is basically impossible. Once you get to the stage of needing mid level resources from pvp areas you hit a brick wall and the game becomes pointless and frustrating..Version: 1.7.31
✓ This game is broken.While playing this game you’ll find it addicting and fun. That is until you find the severe bugs that plague this game. I was playing and got fairly far in the game. I even spent money in the game to get some of the “ premium “ rare weapons. I brought these weapons to a new location for a challenge just to hear sounds of attacks in a loading screen and dying before I could even load into the game. I tried to run back to the location only to have the same problem and by the time I got back to my dead body someone had looted all of my gear. Between bugs like this and lagging and teleporting around the map while doing PVP is quite annoying. Then when you finally do find good gear that you don’t lose to bugs, the durability system of the game is ridiculous. You’ll maybe be able to do one tomb (which is a mini dungeon with loot inside.) before your weapons and armor breaks. Never to be retrieved because it gets deleted from your inventory. ✓ Crashes a few timesPlayed this game for a while and it does have it good points, you can pay to upgrade quickly or you can just get down to grinding away but that takes ages. The problem I have with the game is that it crashes or just kicks you out and it happens at critical points like PVP or in my case Portal prison and then you lose all your stuff and this is stuff you paid money for to give you a advantage over monsters or other players and when you take your problem to game support section they are no help at all, they investigate and just point out what happened to you (you died in portal Prison) yes, I told you that! Your game crashed while I was in portal prison. If you want to get frustrated install the game if you don’t then there’s plenty of other games like this..Version: 1.13.151
✓ Frostborn and the devs poor decisions of the devsTo be honest, i love the game and love grinding towards a goal, but the last few updates that the devs released included some terrible additions ( making the royal chest and marks personal ) and some of which they didnt warn us about ( the reduction of mastery points from certain weapons and armors such as the strong pickaxe, freya staff, etc ). I appreciate the fact that the developers work tirelessly to make this game into the best it can be, but at times its like they make changes without need or without anyone asking for them, making the game either a bit more annoying to play, or even grindy-er when its already really hard for casual players to reach certain milestones like lvl 3 classes. For example I and my team ( and im 100% certain we’re notbthe only ones ) saved up a lot of things to sacrifice for mastery to get the bonus mastery in this new update that came out today, and little do we know but all of our stuff is now worth 20% less. Changes like this dont make anyone happy, please listen to the community..Version: 1.4.6

✓ Good game!This is actually a really decent game. It isn’t pay to win at all more pay to get to end game. Which is great because it’s a grind that doesn’t feel like a grind! You always get something from your adventure. That said, players are toxic. In the easiest place there will be people that will train draugar and kill you at a low level and steal your stuff… just make it so they can’t loot your stuff in non pvp? Like come on. Next would probably be nothing, that is literally the only gripe. Other wise you’d get 5 stars. Mm except how you don’t release buildable weapons at a fair rate, if im trying to master a person for heavy weapons and I don’t unlock heavy armor till level 50 then what’s the point? You are forcing me to play a certain classes or pay for the weapons and armor to play how I want. That is just weird to me. Still good game still going to grind. Pass is worth it for free don’t even need to pay as it gives you good loot. 3/5 stars if you find solutions to those two issues you’ll get 5 star..Version: 1.17.52
