✓ Needs Lots of workI have purchased Advance hearing aids from SpecSavers and this is the app the works with them, and it is pretty poor. Controls are sliders that don’t slide well, when you restart the app, change settings and then change programs it does not remember the previous settings, every time. I wish I could get another app that actually works, unlike this poor attempt. Perhaps the developers should use it in real life to see how poor this is for those of us that have hearing loose and dependent on these devices..Version: 2.5.21
✓ DisappointedThe app does not save the settings that have been input to a program, you leave the program the settings return to their default. Compounded by there only being two programs to apply to the different environments you find yourself in; car, living room, pub, work. Additional programs can be added by the supplier, completely impractical if you work away from their area..Version: 2.5.10

✓ Specsavers Signia hearing aid appI’m afraid that this app give’s very little adjustment compared to other hearing aid platforms. The directional facility is not very accurate although it is nice and easy to use. Needs to be reviewed by the programmer and brought more up to date..Version: 2.6.25

✓ It’s okayThe app is okay but pretty basic. It’s nice to see that the developer regularly responds to complaints regarding the app but it is clear that there is a problem with maintaining a Bluetooth connection - this may be an issue with the hearing aids and/or phone settings rather than the app, but why not just provide that info and/or advice via the app rather than telling users to email them? I have found that the Bluetooth connection keeps dropping out. When streaming from my iPhone XR running iOS 16.1.3 the volume switches between both/left/right ears. It’s very annoying. The phone is held in front of me so the connection should be strong. As a few users have mentioned, it would be great to have a few standard profiles saved that I could switch to, instead of adjusting the settings each time. My aids automatically adjust depending on environment so I don’t need to do this often but I’d like to be able to select a standard (say, direction focused in front and volume up) instead of having to faff with the settings..Version: 2.6.25

✓ Very TiresomeFrequently partially fails to work. At various times the volume / treble -bass and battery level stop working. ✓ Limited featuresReally limited features, can only adjust one additional setting on this app bass vs treble. Can’t turn off Bluetooth to save power. Doesn’t save your settings so every time you charge or turn off your hearing aid you have to set it up all over again. Disappointing you can’t use one air pod and one hearing aid. ✓ SB1950Totally agree with previous review. Plus the part that is supposed to tell you how much power is left in your batteries is useless. Starts at 100 (ok) very quickly drops to 90 then 80. ✓ It’s almost 2023 and this app is pretty dated and where’s the feedback please.This App is not as good as others. It won’t allow me to adjust individual hearing aids. It only shows the combined level so you can’t adjust individual aids if required. When you adjust the volume it sometimes applies to only one aid so your left with one at the original setting and the other one at a lower selected level, If it works. I also find that I usually need to adjust level depending on my environment I.e. in a venue with loud music or noisy restaurant etc and it won’t respond. The level indicator drops but I either get my aids staying at the previous setting while on the app it shows a much lower setting or worse still it only applies the lower level to one of the aids and it’s hit and Mis which one it applies the new setting to. So frustrating. If an app can apply these simple adjustments to a pair of apple ear pods or other wireless headsets for listening to music, TV, online meetings etc why can’t this work properly. I’m not the only one flagging these up here so an update would be great please..Version: 2.6.10

✓ Lack of clarity as batteries die.The hearing aids are supposed to be reasonably state-of-the-art. As the batteries wear out hearing is poorer. ✓ ReviewApp doesn’t always stay connected to Bluetooth. Volume controls do not hold changes when volume is reset. Bass and treble changes are not maintained by the app after reset. Do to the above, I find it difficult to fully trust the operation and/or function of the app’s settings and reliability of the app fully. Difficult to use, customer service not reliable-will not continue our email when the app’s reliability is questioned about why the simple question of, that in the 21st century, they are unable to respond to the easily answered questions (listed above). ✓ DHodgsonSo disappointed with this app. Bought my hearing aids based on the audiologist recommendation. So fed up with resetting by switching app off and then on. My phone says Bluetooth to aids is on, the app says no connection. Have been switching off/resetting numerous times and still no luck. ✓ So DisappointedI purchased Specsavers Advance hearing aids at a premium price to benefit from the benefits of Bluetooth. The App has been wholly unreliable, frequently not connecting or not operating even when my iPhone settings indicate connected. The app disconnecting during phone calls has caused most frustration. The usual fixes of resetting and reinstalling the App have not resolved the problems. I have reverted to using my AirPods for calls and listening to online content. ✓ Abysmal just like the aids themselvesWas looking forward to an excellent experience of hearing better and connecting to my phone. What a disappointment this has turned out to be, often only one hearing aid connects and more often neither picks up the music being played. When the music does play it is tinny i.e. no bass at all. The application has to be continually refreshed to get connected and to get music to play i have to change the settings back and forth until the music is heard. Taking the aids back next week and hoping to never have to use this app again..Version: 2.5.70
