✓ Fake ad and false advertising + bad gaming experienceThis game is nothing but a long boring grind, the ad was advertised on Facebook and other games and it showed driving a vehicle to mine resources, this never happens in the game. The other thing is that the ad doesn’t at all play like the actual game you have to purchase multiple trolls in order to mine at higher levels, and it’s gotten the point where it is nothing but a boring chore. Not once was that vehicle ever seen not even in the upgrades mean, by the way in order to play the game you must be connected to the internet to do something that you can easily do in your backyard with a spade and a pix axe, what an absolute scam and what fat nasty joke..Version: 1.18.2
✓ Where to startGame is addicting enough. But by now, I’ve played several weeks of “Events” and one my best run could only get about half of the rewards. The incrementally expensive cost to upgrade and merge goblins isn’t consistent with the rewards. To this day I can only get a 16-ish goblin. It’s just too expensive and the rewards for mining aren’t beneficial to play. You have to leave and come back later… boring. The events should have perhaps a “Gold-Rush” towards the end of the time. Perhaps last 4 hours, double damage or multiplied rewards. I sat opening random crate and got gold every time for hours. The goo, dynamite and goblins didn’t cycle… just a little gold. Frustrating. Decided to delete game cause it’s just too unfair and not fun this way. Don’t get me started on the condescending adds. 1. If you choose to watch for a slightly better reward, your watching a player bumble through a task and make obvious mistakes to make you want to download and play a lame app just to push X and be slammed with a title page you have to close after staring at it for 5 seconds then wait with flashing banners for 5-7 more. And in other games the ads for this one is completely false gameplay. Don’t even bother with this one folks..Version: 1.19.2
✓ Should be taken down, reported for false advertisingUsing fake gameplay in ads is one thing, but uploading stills from those ads to the App Store as your actual game screenshots is something else. This is not an “error”, and you are not “sorry”. You know exactly what you are doing when you do this, and the game should be removed. Reported. EDIT AFTER DEV RESPONSE the ad has not “confused” me. I know exactly what you are doing, as do you. You are intentionally misleading players to get more downloads. Uploading stills from the ad to the store 100% confirms this. ✓ False advertisingWhat you actually do in this “game” is obviously ok because I’ve had it installed and I “play” it regularly. It is a time waster and a cute one at that. However, ALL YOU DO is buy/merge goblins to whack away at rocks that get higher in toughness so it takes longer to break them so you merge your goblin to upgrade them. Their is NO manual control where you drive a rig that chops up various rocks to where you “upgrade” your rig and/or home base. That is NOT in this game anywhere and was the main reason I downloaded the game. When the developer responds with their “it’s an idea for the future”….yeah? What future because this game has been nothing but NOT what you advertise for almost a year. It’s a gameplay feature that has never existed in the game, it was animated to ONLY get you to download and make IAP. I’m a gamer from the days of DOS and boot disks. ✓ Great Potential, Terrible BugsThis game is brilliant. Quite a fun take on the merge genre combining with the idle theme. Progression feels reasonably smooth and bonuses with ads are generous. Events are challenging. Minor niggles which would take this to Four Stars is: - Time curve on events is very steep and feels like no point progressing without paying to win. With all the ads we watch, this could be balanced to give F2P players a chance to beat the event without paying, with the correct time and ad investment, and like other successful games. - Same for main game but to a slightly lesser extent. Hard to automate mines as the cost is very high. However, this gets One Star temporarily because every time the game is closed for me it bugs out and I need to delete and reload the game. This has happened in the past and makes the game unplayable (for me at least). Will check back in a week to see if fixed and will update accordingly..Version: 1.11.0
✓ Ok game, but gets repetitiveAfter seeing countless ads for this game I decided to finally check it out. First of all, the ad is nothing like the game which, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, but it’s disappointing. Regardless the game has some good graphics and I must commend the developers for that. The game play was ok but it gets repetitive and boring real quick. The activities are all the same and your mine gets reset each time so you have to do the same leveling and building of your goblins. The cost for upgrades gets expensive all too quickly so you spend a lot of time just waiting to build up enough income to buy upgrades. I know the upgrades are supposed to be “permanent” but it doesn’t seem to matter when you start a new mine and have to do the same same thing all over again. In the end, the game is ok but by the 10th mine, you’ll find it’s the same thing over and over again..Version: 1.18.0
✓ Not a player controlled mining vehicle gameI was watching an ad for this game on another game( surprise, surprise) and it showed a mining vehicle driving around collecting ore while avoiding other vehicles. That looked interesting and fun! Nothing like that exists in this game. Actual gameplay: this is a semi-idle collection game where you purchase (in game money) and control goblins to mine. Goblins can be improved by merging same level goblins together. In game money is earned by mining ore, unlocking side mines or collecting barrels from your cannon. The cannon is the primary source of income and you MUST be actively playing to collect this. Passive income exists but is very slow. Leveling the passive income up gets very expensive quickly and multipliers (leveling up side mines 10 levels) are not consistent. These could be 250x or 2x. After a mine is cleared you just start all over again. You do keep some permanent upgrades but the level design requires you to upgrade everything again at a much higher resource price to automate passive income. Resources (in loot boxes) can be found by the goblins mining ore, unlocking side mines, watching ads or with in game purchases. Not looking for a response (because I don’t care) but just sharing for others to not be duped by a false advertisement..Version: 1.18.2

✓ Needs a little moreFun idle game. Almost too idle. Needs more stuff for when you’re actually in the app. Money only buys time or random chance upgrades. Would be nice to use gems for something like dynamite packs, or goblin upgrades. Speaking of upgrades, goblins merge but there’s not much else to them. You can upgrade a card to strengthen them but that’s it. How about something for speeding up mining for a short time, or allowing them to move forward after finishing a rock for a limited number of spaces? Idle goblins are also useless. With the bottle necks of some levels, having too many goblins of different levels is such a waste. It would be cool to be able to put them working towards a mine to speed it up, or sell them off for gold or elixirs. Last thing, coming back after an extended period of time and having a lot of stuff to pick up can be overwhelming to my pea brain. A button to “pick up all” would be nice. ✓ 😐The nerve of some people to make not just one ad, but multiple ads over 30 seconds. Advertising the same thing over and over isn't really a good selling point and quite frankly it makes the player want to download the game much less. When presented with a goal of getting to the end of not only a 45 second ad, but an entire minute advertisement and then having to wait *15 additional seconds* and doing nothing. Is this really supposed to make someone download the game? My main critique of the game is that at the surface, it appears to be just another idle game. However, offline idle games with no comp tend to be just a wee bit worse than online idle games. I'm glad to see this game move in another right direction. Anyway, no critique to the actual game, but the ads are horrendous. Mobile games are usually much worse so credit is due there. None of this is actually meant to be said about the game, but I oly downloaded it to complain about the strange advertisements. At least it isn't Evertale-level of ads. Actually, it's still false advertising as far as the beginning of the game goes. ✓ Ridiculously long adsThis game is mindless and fun. I usually have no problem with ads as I refuse to pay to play. However, the ads in this game keep getting longer with anywhere from 2 to 3 things you have to click on to get out of the ad. I don’t mind the ads but now you have to watch the ad then hit the >>> button then watch for the x then hit the x and the download ad pops up again, then you have to hit the x again and watch the 5 second timer before it truly takes you back to the game! ✓ Takes Time and Frustrating Special EventsI downloaded this game about three weeks ago. After laying a few days, my husband decided to download on his phone. When we play the regular mine shafts, it is fun. Just hard to get high amounts of elixir - which you should be able to get more quantity the harder the location, but you don’t. Otherwise, it is fun. Now, my husband and I have played two of the side events to try and get more stuff to help. The first one we played more like the mineshaft, and we got maybe 3/4 of the way though. We just thought that maybe we didn’t do something right. This second even, we have been playing non-stop for the full days. I even left my screen on over night in hopes of collecting items. We have played and clicked non-stop since the beginning. My husband might reach the last keys in time. I can’t even reach them. We don’t use money to play apps and games. I feel as though that is the only way to play the events, and you need the events to get through the basic mine easier..Version: 1.2.0

If only it was because the ads portray a much more enjoyable game with so much more potential. You probably saw a goblin crushing rocks in a roller machine? Nope none of that. Vast open levels with alternate ways to solve them? Nah uhh, given a guided narrow path. Progression which makes sense! Also big no. So disappointed hence taking the time to warn others. The upgrade system is so obnoxious, the cost of everything simply increases by a factor of 4 each time and once you progress maybe 2-3 blocks deep in a level you’ll reach a mine (which you tap every 5 seconds to get money) and once you reach each one basically everything before that becomes obsolete with the amount of money it provides. ✓ Add is deceiving1. This game is not at all like the add. 2. The game is unbelievably slow unless you spend $$$. Nearly unplayable. 3. The events that claim to boost the resources you need to advance in the regular part of the game will take up more resources then is returned to you unless you spend $$$$ to compete with the players that are spending even more than you. 4. The events start 4 hours before I wake up and end 4 hours after I go to bed. 5. The progression during the events are 1/4 the speed turtle of the regular part of the game. Download if you want to try it, remove the game if you do t like it. Don’t spend money on the game hoping it will make it better. It will not. I intend on deleting this game as soon as I use up the resources I bought. And I am being tight fisted with those resources. And it only takes the game from a 1 star to a 1.25 star. ✓ Started off goodI had this game for a few weeks and enjoyed playing it But it’s so annoying waiting hours upon hours for walls to break, rocks to break, caves to open Then there’s never enough of the elixer to upgrade the different parts. I decided to delete the game when I was down to 3 mines not automated, and no where near the upgrade to make Them automated And I could only have 2 goblins (which had already been working on rocks 6 hours) working away with another 4 hours to go, because of the layout of the level. Also the bonus rooms are awful for the same reason except they hit ridiculous times in a matter of a few hours instead of the few weeks I lasted with the game as a whole. ✓ Fun idea that needs more workThis game is a fun concept that could really go somewhere, but right now it's an idle game disguised as a mining sim. Here's the short list: - Idle income is constant with no offline penalty, but that isn't your main source of income: The cannon is, and the cannon is random and only fires while online. This is the incentive to keep the app up at all times. - Unit development is done through random cards, which seem fairly balanced, but there isn't a lot of choice in what to upgrade. Mines can only be automated with a certain number of cards, and that's where most of your elixir will go. - There is no way of telling what using gold to level up a mine will do. The multipliers seem random and the cost grows very quickly; but since cannon income is dependent on these, a player may feel like they have to save for mine levels rather than buying another goblin, even if the boost turns out to be disappointing. - Like most idle games, while the main game is casual, events are killer and require almost constant supervision and perfect form to complete. The difference here is that you don't 'need' every key and the rewards are not drop-dead must-have. I'd keep playing this game if I had a lot more time on my hands than I do. It resets you to level 1 of the miners every time you make a new mine level as well as zero coins… so dumb. I wanted to see the awesome leveled up miners that were in the adds. I have no idea how long you’d have to play to get there as I never broke level 20 miner in somewhere around 46 levels (even playing every side event at a 250 or lower player raking). I just deleted the app as it makes no sense to continue to try leveling up to be completely reset and start from scratch. Maybe if I fell for paying for crap… but no thanks. ✓ Not as advertised and…This game is not as advertised. There’s no machines (tractors?) that the goblins drive to collect the gems instead they have hammers, drills, & saws. The graphics are great, there’s no lag, & no ads that interrupt game play, but that’s really all the good features. ✓ Crashed So HardLet me preface with this review by saying the game isn’t 100% bad. The gameplay is an idle game where you have miners take up portions of the map for you to advance. My biggest problem, however, if the title wasn’t a big enough spoiler, is that reloading the game can cause a crash. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game to fix it, but it happened a second time and I tried to get out of the app to no avail until I went to try to turn my phone off then reopened my phone, still on the app, for it to finally load. Before that, I even tried using a notification to get out of the app and into another one with no success. Regardless of how good a game is, when it starts harming the system, especially a PHONE, it’s NOT WORTH IT. ✓ More Elixir Opportunities!Great game to play if you need to kill time. However, I wish there was more possibilities to earn elixir or simply lower the cost of the cards. Once you get to the higher levels, it’s hard to choose between spending money on mine upgrades or goblins but because you can’t automate a mine without spending elixir, all of your elixir goes to that and not more useful upgrades. Plus, the only way to gain elixir is through special rocks, random cannon barrel drops, and events. The events themselves are very hard to complete and even though you still gain the rewards you achieved, that’s only once every week essentially. Just wish I could receive more elixir from the cannon drops or each rock that you mine gives you a few elixir. Great game in theory. Just needs more updates and development..Version: 1.14.1

What frustrates me the most is that each mine looks like the last one without much incentive to keep going on. I think the developers are being really lazy, as it wouldn’t’ take much effort surely to at least change the colours and landscapes, rocks, chests etc. so you at least feel like you are actually on a different level. ✓ Fairly pointlessThe game would be great if there was a system of continual progression apart from just upgrading your permanent cards. Beyond that, it’s relatively pointless to play considering it just starts all over again from level one at the next mine and you don’t keep your gold or goblins from the previous mine. The mines never get any longer it seems either so the highest goblin you’ll ever see would realistically be level 12. The events never last long enough for you to make any real progression, so if you have a job in the real world that doesn’t allow phones in the work place…you’re done for. ✓ Elixir trickThis game is so much fun but it’s impossible to level up quickly because no matter how far you get you never get higher amounts of elixir. Another thing I noticed regarding the elixir is that the game doesn’t award you the correct amount. For instance, when leveling up the mines themselves, if you let your coins collect until the mines levels are full then you level it up you get elixir. But most of the time it will say x200 meaning you should get 200 elixir but the number of elixir only goes up by 2. I waited over night the other night came back to the game ready to level up all the mines and collect a good amount of elixir. I leveled up for mines and only received 40 elixirs when it said I should’ve gotten thousands. If the goblins require more elixirs to level up the farther you go in the game, you should be awarded the proper amount of elixirs and from my experience I haven’t been. Seems to me they are giving you less elixirs hoping you will spend money to buy more. And that’s very predatory to me and I refuse to spend money on games because it’s for no reason at all. ✓ All grind, no rewardSo the game is: you use gold to buy goblins that will mine more gold that can be used to unlock forges that make even more gold. Then, with that gold, you can buy more goblins, to mine gold quicker to upgrade those forges so they nake more money to buy more goblins… get the picture? And then… after grinding to clear each mine, EVERYTHING resets to 0 when you move to the next one… including your gold reserves, goblins and forges you’ve invested into. I have no idea why the developers thought that was better than working out a way to stack your investments as your progress further. You know, as a reward for all the grinding…The next mine is no different to the previous except there’s slightly more things to mine and maybe one or two extra forges to unlock but what’s the point? Once you clear it, you’ll lose it all once more only to get to the next one and repeat the whole process from the ground up yet again. There’s no real lasting reward or anything to progress towards in the big picture to make the game worthwhile and satisfying: all grind, no reward. I downloaded it because of an ad I saw - which, as usual, didnt accurately portray true gameplay - then I ended up deleting it after 5-15min of gameplay. I got through 4 mines in that time and it felt like i repeated the same level over and over with just a tiny bit more work to be completed each time. ✓ Lacking supportStarted off a good addicting game. However, one day I opened app and all my game was lost. I did have my game linked to Game Center. But my progress was at mine 36. All data, progress and purchases lost. Contacted support and started a ticket. After a few email communications the support said they are putting me back at level 36 and restoring all purchases. After two days I was still at mine 1 and no further progress contacted support again and she said she will elevate to higher support. After three days I received email stating my help ticket was being closed as no more activity. Well ok then. Everything lost and no support. So beware of all being lost and no support to help you. ✓ Great game, no support.Ive been having the same issue all day with only this app. “No internet connection.” No matter if I’m using 4/5G or WiFi, the same issue and only on this app. Ive attempted numerous times to contact the app support but I can’t find any way to contact them through the app support button on the AppStore. ✓ Why?I have a simple question - what exactly is the point of this game? If it is to allow you to mindlessly send cartoon goblins digging through gold mines to gather gold so you can eventually enter a new mine and start all over again - nailed it. Otherwise, there is no story, no obvious goal, just mindless repetition. You can’t do anything with the game once you set your goblins to work on the next ore target, so the best way to play this is . . . Intermittently. I am sure the developers are pleased with the quality of the graphics, but someone forgot to tell them that there needs to be a purpose or theme to a game beyond flash that leads nowhere. Like most other games, the graphics in ads that lure you in have nothing to do with the real game. ✓ Disappointing this game is disproportionateI’ve never been able to finish one of the bonus games, they start at 5 in the afternoon and end at 1 in the morning, who’s going to stay up till that time to finish it? I know the game is more about advertising but after you’ve finished watching the advert it takes you longer to get out of it than watching the advert. There’s too many adverts for the poor rewards you get for watching them. Slowly going of it you try to increase your pot of coins for them to be taken away, with hour to the end of the bonus game they stop giving the free goblins. You only get coins which are taken off you. ✓ Sent back to the beginningI was enjoying this game until I was part way through an event and part way through a mine and screen went blank I was sent back to the start it stated ran out of mines. I’m not sure how that could be as I was only part way through not even at a gate in either. ✓ Boring after a few levels… elixir gems go missingNeeds more side games or quests. Standard levels are mind-numbing key slow and events are over too quickly (no doubt as bait for purchases). Also devs still haven’t resolved the issue of elixir or gem deliveries not registering on the main mine levels. And when you consider that the gameplay is nothing like most of the advertised graphics or videos you have to wonder who at Apple monitors for false advertising! Sad to come out of a 30 second ad to hit a barrel and forced to another 45 second ad for minimal advantage. ✓ False Advertising at its FinestThe adds make it look like fun, you control the action with a little touchscreen joystick and move your goblin(s) all around, hacking at ores, running over and collecting the rewards that stack beautifully on your back, then depositing them into your buildings for more goblins and better upgrades. Everything from the graphics, animations, camera angle, and promise the ad delivers is missing from the actual game. In reality it is a flat, two dimensional, tap-tap game where you do nothing but tap the screen as the goblins slowly, gruelingly, hack away at ores then stand there idly waiting to be dragged over to the next ore while you tap on the gold pieces. There is no puzzles where you mines through numbered blocks to collect pickaxes to increase your own pickaxe strength, no great big bulldozers you can control and rip through different ores and gems then collect them in the trunk, none of it. Plain and simple, false advertising for a bland and boring game with maybe 10% of the same art assets used in the fake ads. Despicable. Gonna be contacting the USFTC and opening a claim because I’ve had it with these money grubbing mobile games falsely advertising their weak products..Version: 1.23.0
✓ Deceptive Practices Hurt PlayersAs others have noted, the gameplay is not as advertised as it is a top down idle game with very different graphics than shown in ads. That being said, I still found it to be a fun game to kill time periodically. The reason for the low star is the deliberately deceptive game mechanic surrounding in-game events. The event leaderboard is intentionally vague so you do not know how many points other players have. If you secure a top three spot (which is only possible by spending actual money for most events), you will have no way of knowing if the person behind you is closing in or if you have a reasonable chance at securing the top spot. This results in increased spending to maintain positions that may not even be necessary or to try to secure positions that would actually require significant spending ($100+ easily) to “catch up.” You also have no way of knowing if you are up against actual players versus bots created to drive spending. Efforts to find out more specific information on the leaderboard dynamic lead to evasive answers. Support has taken the position that providing specific information on the leaderboard is somehow “unfair” to players. Incredibly scammy practices..Version: 1.27.0

✓ Kind of okSo the gameplay is your normal idle games, which is ok but now I’m just finding myself logging on every now and then waiting for rocks, chests or gates to be cracked. The elexir to upgrade the goblins gets a bit out of hand and there’s no way other than paying money to upgrade them.
