✓ Game Ending is rushedGame starts off strong, but then you notice the game is recycling areas throughout the game, and without spoiling anything the ending is utter dissapointment. ✓ DecentMaybe it’s because I’ve never played the previous games but I found the ending to be abrupt and incredibly unsatisfying as a heads up. Up until that point the game was enjoyable, the puzzles made sense and the hint book was appreciated when needed. Several users have complained to the developer, but it still has not been fixed as of mid-April 2024. ✓ Replayability issue since the latest updateReally enjoyed the game but there seems to be some glitch with the game since the latest update. ✓ Return To Monkey IslandI paid for the app, used it a while, deleted it and a few weeks later downloaded it and played it again. The app let me play for a while and then keeps trying to force me to purchase it again. There is no restore option. I reported the issue to the software company and after a few weeks they gave me a code to enter and download it again. I did and the only thing they offered was to try the app for free or purchase it again. Either Apple is making it too difficult for this company to restore the purchased apps or they do not want to restore the app and are intentionally trying to force people to pay for apps that have already been paid for. You should beware the app will try to make you pay for it again if you delete it and then reinstall it like you can do with all of your other purchases. ✓ OkayAn hour in and it’s not as funny as previous games, the script is not as witty. Animation is a bit of a step backwards from the 3D Tales of Monkey Island on iOS and not that exciting. Lots of positive discrimination and diversity targets being met including removing white male characters. The artwork, graphics, storyline, and dialogue were very good. The puzzles were a lot easier than I remember on the original computer game.
