✓ Great app, Perfect for time wasting :)Ah, you can't go wrong with this app. Great if your waiting at the docters,if your at a friends and of course at home. Lots of planes to chose from, levels are fun and app is easy to use. But I think it could be better, MrFungFung, add a special attack that recharges over time and if you destroy a certain number of enemys with the special attack you get an upgrade for that weapon. Also add a dodge ability which is different according to the direction your turning. And be able to listen to your own music! Oh, and one more thing, add more planes. P.S. ✓ FantasticI would unreservadly reccomend this for any ipod gamer. I must admit, I really didn't like it at first, you start off with this dingy, rather rubbish plane, but as you begin to unlock some of the dozens of other planes available, it really starts to get interesting. I've unlocked all but two of these planes, and that's no mean feat. The game encourages you to revisit levels with newly unlocked and stronger planes so as to improve your score and unlock newer, stronger planes once more. The only critisism I have is the lack of levels and a shortage of planes (well, there is quite a significant range, but I've unlocked virtually all now!).Version: 0

✓ Fantastic Bi-planes style actionThis is the best action game that I have played on the iPhone. The gameplay is rich and the controls work well. It's good fun unlocking and playing around with the different planes and weapon types. Shame the multiplayer is wi-fi only though. For those who are struggling, I recommend using the 'Sniper' plane. Quick turning, good armour, and can take out almost any enemy with a well aimed close up cluster bomb shot..Version: 0

✓ Good but...Can you make it so enemy planes can't steal the extra lives please? I really like everything in the game.... Except that! Half of the extra lives spawn right infront of an enemy and you never have a chance to catch it (this happened 4 times in a row to me just now + countless other times previously), and a quarter of them float off screen and straight into an enemy! I only manage to catch about 1/4 extra lives and it's really annoying! I'm pretty good at the game and I have no trouble catching lives when I have a fair chance, but most of the time I never have that chance because the life is always stolen within 3 second of spawning! If you have to make the lives difficult, make them timed or something. Or how about they dissapear if the player accidentally shoots it? I don't care about power ups, the enemy can collect as many of those as he likes, but lives make me want to kick a puppy :).Version: 0

✓ Very addictive!The dogfighting gameplay is great fun. The controls are intuitive. The graphics are good, in a retro style, and well animated. (Static screenshots don't do the game justice). But it's the "collect 'em all" mechanism that really makes this game work so well. You need to unlock better planes to beat later levels, and to do so you have to reach target scores on earlier levels. This adds replay value, as you revisit earlier levels with different planes to get a good score, extends the length of the game, and never feels like a chore. ✓ Well-polished and fun to play.The graphics, interface, and art design are great. It makes the gameplay smooth and minimizes the need for a tutorial...just "pick up and shoot". I love the icon too (it reminds me of a Neo Geo title screen). I also love how your health meter is the plane itself and how messed up it looks tells the player when they're about to die. Suggestions: *I haven't played multiplayer yet, but is there a ammo system for normal bullets? Right now I can spam bullets with little consequences. *In the plane selection menu, maybe the stats of each plane should be displayed graphically (i.e. color bars, weapon icons) instead of text. It takes too long to compare the planes. *Have an aircraft carrier map that allows planes to land to repair, but leaves them vulnerable on takeoff. I can't wait to be able to play my own music so I can play "Danger Zone" from Top Gun. Thanks for creating a great game..Version: 0

✓ Great fun - but a little frustratingThis game is a load of fun and unlocking planes is a great incentive for high scores etc. The frenetic gameplay is really exciting and keeps you hooked. There are some burning issues however - firstly, the difficultly level rockets which drains some of the fun. Secondly, the enemies just shouldn't be allowed to get lives, and the lives themselves are too fast and drift off the sceen etc. Too much - very unfair. And finally, last major gripe, in the latter stages it gets almost impossible because all the enemies colllect the power-ups, which considering their numbers, is another unfair advantage!.Version: 0

The stalling mechanic is solid & vital addition that works brilliantly to provide extra risk to squeezing the most out of whichever of the 50+ biplanes your style of play you prefer to zip around in! If you want a good review of the app: I got this app through the dev's promotion therefore it was free, but I would have still payed for it. It is an excellent shooter, the graphics are great. Controls are easy to use, and the game as the all important smooth learning curve. The only point that lets it down is the lack of levels (although the last one is considerably harder), but the dev makes up for this by including 55 unlockable planes. The awesome thing about it is they have different weapons and qualities. The multiplayer is a bonus too. Well done! I hope you will bring more levels and planes. ✓ Pure qualityHuge fun - love the controls, the physics, the tactics, the collectable planes, the lot. It's amazingly well balanced and there are little nods to great games of the past (e.g. the ghost pickup inspired by Mario Kart and the "big laser" that reminds me of the SNES classic Cybernator). This is a developer that really knows what he's doing. There are only two things I'd like to see added - the ability to play your own background music, and more clearly differentiated icons for the pickups (my weak brain can't always remember what all the colours mean in the heat of battle).
