✓ Good but not perfectI’ve downloaded a few cribbage apps due to the corona virus, to challenge my friends in lock down. Although you can never compare to the real thing this app comes closest to it. The online community on this app is scarce this needs improvement. Opposed to the cribbage pro app where there are lots of challengers at any time. The only area I can see for improvement is that even on expert it’s not the smartest when pegging. I've lower the Stars on the new version (3.5.1) that I updated to yesterday. There is NO sound. I've rebooted my iPad and removed the app and reinstalled it without any success. Also, I paid for the HD version so I wouldn't see any ads, but I noticed the is one on the main menu page. What gives? 18Jul16: The latest version brings the sound back. I've noticed that when the last card is played, you (or your opponent) only get the one point, BUT if on that play you had a run or X number of cards same numbered cards (like three 5's) you don't get those points. ✓ Vast improvementI have been using this app for the better part of eight years to play cribbage with my dad. I don’t know what they did with this new update but it is now like playing in real time! There were no crashes, no exceedingly long wait times after a card was played or dealt. I even noticed the chat function now works. ✓ Daily goalsI find that the way daily goals are satisfied isn’t always correct. Take ‘make 29 pairs’ for example. You (we) need to make 29 pairs anywhere during the game (hand, crib, play). The problem I’ve seen repeatedly is that three of a kind is NOT count as three pairs (which is why it’s scored as 6 points). Three of a kind is only counted as two pairs. I also find myself striving to complete the challenge rather than striving to win the game. :-(.Version: 3.6.2

I missed a few scoring summaries by tapping the screen after the last card was played when I should have just been patient and waited. I keep returning to this one because of the options, ability to change card and background colors (not harsh on the eyes if you play as much Cribbage as I do). The dealer speed is also great. I can also choose the levels of difficulty. BRAVO!! Also, when one is uncertain which cards to put in the kitty, THIS app is as good - or better - than I am at deciding which to sacrifice.
