Logging inI’ve had for a long time but now I’m just irritated like wth it’s giving me hard time logging in to my account . Keeps saying error when everything is right . I have to wait till the next day to solve issues . I’m so literally I’m so irritated when I have to pay bills n can’t access my account ..Version: 2.18.0

DECEPTIVE FEESWhen I read about their fees in the cardholder agreement, I assumed the fees they listed were the same as most other prepaid cards.... I was wrong! They allow the retail merchant to charge one high fee and then Rush Card themselves charge ANOTHER fee on top! This is by far the most expensive prepaid card I’ve used! And they want my direct deposit ? 🙄 Yeah right! HAHA! They’ll never get my direct deposit with the fees they charge! Cost me between $8 to $9 just to add $250 on my card! I’ll update more more on this review if I find out more things they’ve tried to hide or if they try to steal my money like other reviews I’ve read and get my attorney involved if necessary! Currently searching a for a different prepaid card to replace this one but there’s only a dozen banks that partner with prepaid card companies like this one, so our options are limited. Been with Rushcard since 2004Years ago this card was great!!! The past few year I had numerous problems with customer care, they closed out my pink babyphat card and will NOT send me another one, I have never won anything from any of their contests I enter in. This app have never worked for me, I don’t think I can trust this company anymore.. a lot of changes since the new ownership and I not feeling comfortable the company, you really can see the difference I am looking for another company to trust with my money.. Customer for 15 years, had to close accountI had been a customer for 15 years and recently RushCard has gotten bad. The prompts basically tell you “don’t call us because we won’t help you”. Every prompt you get says to email them. You email them and they don’t respond. I had my tax refund sent to my card like I’ve been doing for years and they rejected it saying the last names don’t match. Sent all the documents they asked for and they still gave me the run around. They’re rude, lie, and don’t care. Do not use these people..Version: 2.18.0

Never get a rush cardI’ve been with rushcard 12 years and I lost my card not only did they give me a hard time changing my address but it’s been 12 business day 2 weeks to recieve a card that never came I end up having to pay $35 for 2 days shipping after waiting for my card for 2 weeks and this how they treat there customer of 12 years after I get my card I’m taking every dollar off and cutting the card into a million pieces if I ever recieve it. DONT GET A RUSHCARD!!!!!! They don’t deserve one star.Version: 2.9.0

Not satisfied anymoreRush card use to be really good. I’ve been with them since 2012. Back in the day you were able to speak someone and not you really can’t if I’d have any issues. You have to email them and it take forever to get a response back. All these years I’ve never had a issue with uploading checks and now I get getting error that I can’t. Said to call the 877 number but when u call it it says to go online and chat and you do that but u not really charring with anyone, it takes u to emailing them. It’s like NO, I want to speak to someone. This year I think I will be leaving Rush card and switch to someone else..Version: 2.21.0

Bye byeI have had a rush card for a few years now. I can no longer load checks continuously get an error message that know one knows what to do about. My payday is Thursday’s I normally get pay out on Tuesdays and recently on my actual payday and still have not received my deposit. To call customer service and get a person who English is not there first language and frustrates me to the fullest. I am going to cancel my card and just let my money deposit into a bank that can answer my questions or yet I am more comfortable knowing my money is there..Version: 2.9.0

Rush card is trashI’ve been a customer from 2012 and I’ve had nothing but problems with them from the beginning. Always a reason why they have a hold on my money or why they took money off my card. I lost one of my cards one day and they told me I could pause the card till I found it and that was not the case they wouldn’t let me order a new one due to my address changing and they basically kept $165 from me for 3 months.Version: 2.7.1

Horrible Customer ServiceI use the paused feature on this card andI unpaused it 30 minutes before making a purchase and my card would not unpause I had already gotten a service done and I could literally not leave until my card was solidified which by the way never happened I waited in the store for over an hour trying to figure out how to get my money off the card needless to say I’ve hit up the check for customer service and the Lady told me there was nothing wrong with my card and refused to help any further.I then got out of the chat and try to speak to another rep as the prior one was no help and it forwarded me to an email which annoyed me because I could no longer chat with someoneI barely had enough cash on me to cover the purchase at the time. Stranded with NO COMMUNICATION POSSIBLE with RushCard!!!Need help, as I have NO ACCESS TO FUNDS FOR TWO WEEKS??? Phone number to customer service has been cut off..Reoccurrence of Oct 2015.....website chat gone, acct is locked so I can’t activate my replacement card that THEY blocked!! STAY AWAY - THIS COMPANY HAS INCONVENIENCED ME FOR THE SECOND TIME!!I I had really hoped GreenDot was going do something positive , once they acquired a company that Russell Simmons obviously couldn’t run. Original RushCard BabyPhat ownerI have been an original BabyPhat card owner since 2003. I have never had issues with my card until the past year. I have had to file several fraud cases. And they keep issuing refunds, but don’t put a hold on the card, and I have NEVER been able to retrieve my balance to just cancel the card entirely. It causes me such anxiety to have to contact them. The app is worthless Because I haven’t been able to log into my account to update my information in the past year. This card was amazing for the almost 2 decades I’ve had it. Except the past year. And I can’t even cancel the card. I wouldn’t recommend it until them enhance their security on another level. Needing the funds for emergencies is not an option. Don’t open an account with themCustomer service is atrocious...when you can actually reach someone (good luck with that). If you are fortunate enough to speak to a human being, prepare yourself for lies and the run around. They had a direct deposit glitch. Rather than informing their customers of the delay, they were telling people that the application employers weren’t submitting the direct deposits...wrong answer as I do payroll. When I informed them that they were lying and that I was aware they were having an issue, the guy refused to speak to me. Too many problems, horrific customer service and unreliable direct deposits. Stick with a real bank that actually cares about your business..Version: 2.7.1

Over itI’ve been with Rush for over 10yrs & the past 2 have been the worst. My card keeps getting compromised by someone who claims to be Google. The first few times that it happened, I thought, OK my card got hacked, no biggie. Maybe it’s something I’m doing. I changed all passwords, contacted Google & did everything I was supposed to do. But then every time I got a new card, it would happen all over again. This can’t be a coincidence. RushCard should investigate. I plan on canceling. I don’t have time to keep being loyal to a company that won’t take the time to ensure its customers aren’t hacked..Version: 2.18.0

Rush cardRush card is a rip off they Rob me for my money and you can’t never speak to a Rep to report your issue with them I don’t recommend any one to bank with them they tell you to msg them it’s sad because I have my account set up to get email alerts anytime my account is being used and they telling me my cards not being used but I’m steady getting alerts and my card steady getting used but they can’t see it but I can threw email it’s sad how they Rob people for there money and I been with them since 2016👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽.Version: 2.17.0

RoboticsI have had my Rush Card for many years now, it have been very useful and comes in handy... with that being said! RushCard has the WORST customer service ( if that’s what you want to call it) you can never speak to a real person, and if you are lucky enough to reach a live breathing person, they can’t even help you... your referred to their website or mobile app that answers none of your questions or even address issue. I’m am very upset with the way they treat their customers..Version: 2.14.0

Bad BusinessThe Automatic Answering system always changes, take forever to speak to a living person, or to do anything at all. Im not even able to use my card for the Apple Pay services which is feel comfy doing so my cards not vulnerable. Plus money has gone missing multiple times on my account with accountability from Rushcard or anyone to look at the transactions showing my money being taken from me. Been with the company since 2007 but plan to leave soon!.Version: 2.12.0

Can’t load checkI have been with rush card for over ten years and I’ve never had a problem till last 5 months. I have not been able to load my check through the app. When I press to load check, it says error your time had expired log out and log back in. I have uninstalled app and installed app many times and still the same problem. I have emailed them and I get the run around. Now when I call it an automated service. Sorry to say but I may have to switch companies. If anyone has any answers please let me know..Version: 2.12.0

RUSH CARD ARE THIEVES!!!I’ve been with rush for a while and never had a problem until now… Rush is stealing money they have literally stolen almost $500 from me stating I did not pay for my purchases which was impossible because I couldn’t purchase my products without the money. I paid for my things and rush turned around and took the money again telling me I didn’t pay for the items I purchased. I called to get this settled there customer service operators yelled cursed and hung up on me screaming that I am lying and wouldn’t even let me send them the proof of them taking my money… The same-thing happened to my friend rush is stealing your money… I would not recommend this card for anyone!!!.Version: 2.23.0

Can’t talk to an actual personI TRIED TO CALL MULTIPLE TIMES. At first they try to offer you some promos on random stuff like diretcv. When you answer that you’re not interested, it hangs up. So then I callback. It gives me a menu, then tells me I’ll be transferred to an agent. Then it says they are all busy, THEN IT HANGS UP. I’ve had an account with them for years, by WHATS the point of dealing with a “bank” that I can’t call. If I’m not able to call by the end of the week I’ll be cancelling all accounts..Version: 2.12.0

Worst prepaid card everI wish I didn’t have to give this one star... I had the worst experience ever with RushCard I been with this company for years and I literally had to close my account just to retrieve my remaining balance in my account because they refuse to send me a new debit card. Customer service is very rude and not polite at all... they treat you like your money is coming out of their paycheck so they decide when you will receive your funds or new debit card... I decided to take my money over to chime hopefully I’ll have a better experience. I would not recommend rushcard to anyone. I will never open another account with them the card and system is trash now. I’ll be glad when they fade the whole company out no wonder they always getting sued. CLOSING MY ACCOUNT!I sent in all of my documents so that they could release my pending deposit. After sending in everything, they sent my deposit back and said that my birthday does NOT match what’s on file. However, I’ve been with Rush Card since 2012 and never was able to change my birthday. I had to send in my I.D, SS Card, 1040 w/ signature and my birthday and they still said that they couldn’t verify that it was me. I received an email this morning stating that they returned my deposit. They won’t let you speak with anyone else and they can barely understand English. After this, I am finally parting ways with RushCard and don’t advise nobody to try them..Version: 2.18.0

OutdatedI’ve been with RushCard since 2012 faithfully. They started the movement with “getting your check early”. How can they let competitors to come in and take over the game. Rush has much more potential. Their website is bland you have to review it in desktop modem. They need more features. Offer more services such as overdraft protection like other prepaid debit card, I can’t even link to cash app. I’ve been debating on switching banks but don’t wanna go through the hassle. Terrible service !!!I was already aware of the fee schedule but to not be able to speak to a person is unacceptable. I had to download a call app because the automated system recognizes my number and does not give me an agent option. I was locked out of my account and instructed to call rushcard. If unlocking your account was an option on the menu I wouldn’t have an issue. Shameful that you all go out of your way to avoid existing customers. 0 stars.Version: 2.7.1

Another unsatisfied customerI’ve been with RushCard for a few years and it used to be reliable. It used to deposit my pay two days early around 8pm on a Wednesday (my payday is Friday) now every week the money comes in at different times. It’s like they give you your funds whenever they feel like. In that case it doesn’t serve its purpose, I might as well just wait until payday to get paid. I need gas and lunch money for work right now and it is now 5:42am in a Thursday and I have yet to receive my pay. You guys need to get it together cause you guys are gradually failing and falling behind the times. As technology advances you guys are declining primitively..Version: 2.7.1

Rush cardI have been a customer with RushCard services since 2012 and their customer service has went down drastically since COVID. Now you have to lie about what questions you may have just to speak with a live person if your able to get thru. I am definitely considering switching to another prepaid debit card company.Version: 2.20.0

Moving onI don’t have a problem with the app my issue is with the lack of support with being able to speak with a a live rep. I am no longer comfortable with not being able to speak with a rep when it’s involving my money. I only signed up with rush card for early direct deposit loads, but I’m no longer getting my direct deposits early so I don’t see the point in me keep this bank anymore it’s time to move on. Im also paying a additional money fee monthly that could be avoided with a legitimate bank account if I’m no longer receiving early deposits what’s the point of keeping this account.Version: 2.18.0

Card replacementI’ve had a rush card for years and never had a problem. Every so often the numbers on the card would rub off and I would call and get a new card. Now I call and it’s every prompt but a replacement. I have pushed every prompt Just to get no where. I can’t reach anyone. I sent emails and haven’t gotten a response yet smh..Version: 2.7.0

Worst service I’ve ever usedThey literally stole $200 from me through moneypak when I tried to deposit cash into my account. The customer service agents don’t speak English and were of NO HELP AT ALL. I called for a refund, they issued me a refund confirmation # and told me it would take up to two weeks to come through the mail. It’s been 4 months since and I haven’t received a single cent. Furthermore, when I tried to contact RushCard they sent me to greendot, and greendot had no idea who I was since I never used them in the first place. I feel helpless and it’s companies like these who make things harder for the same people they claim to be helping. Biggest mistake I’ve ever made by getting this card..Version: 2.9.0

RushCardI got a new phone last year and have only been able to access old cards since. I’ve tried calling and emailing customer service and have been unable to reach a live person since the merge that caused complete chaos. The card may be convenient but the customer service is TERRIBLE!!! The 1 star is only so I can submit this post. I don’t think they deserve any stars. TERRIBLE! BEWARE!The whole TWO account types they offer are a rip-off. You can choose between a per-purchase fee, or a monthly fee, which is almost $7, or $5.95 with direct deposit. You will not have a REAL account and routing number, so it is not compatible with anything that asks for bank info. It is considered a prepaid card, which means anything that needs to pre-authorize will also reject your account. You will receive a super basic stone-age card (no chip, design is gaudy and ugly), and I suggest taking care of it. Not only is it quite flimsy and clearly printed off a cheap embossing machine, but if you LOSE that card, youre screwed. You will have to order a new one, which you will get free of charge. But as soon as you activate it and load money, you get charged another $5 activation fee. You will be completely, tried and true, 100% unable to have access to your funds until your new card arrives in 7 business days, unless you authorize a $30 fee to the funds you cant use, for expedited 3-day shipping. Last but not least, the fee-free ATMs are few and far between, and the mobile check-cashing service is always broken. If youve got least be it half a brain, find a better banking service..Version: 2.12.0

This is ridiculous!If I can give zero stars, I would!! I have been with rush card since 2010. I’ve never had to rely on a website or the site itself to handle an issue that is clearly not an issue that can be resolved via website. This is not a way to conduct business with any banking institution. This is absurd. I will be taking my business else where. I am over the new direction Rush card has decided to go. Imagine being on hold to speak with a customer service representative for an hour, only to be hung up on by the representative because they didn’t want to answer ur questions or address ur concerns. The rep was so robotic with his responses and sound rehearsed that he didn’t care about helping me. I have been a very loyal consumer to the rush card empire and this is the thanks I get? Never in my years of living have I encountered such blatant lack of the word “customer service” I can see why no one uses Rush card anymore. This is an outrage!.Version: 2.18.0

Rush card still have problemsI like it been with them for years had a few problems which I think it would be a bit better with Americans working there to many Foreigners I’m not racist it’s just they don’t have that direct English like us and it makes it kind a hard and I’m frustrating just like vice versa with them.Version: 2.18.0
