✓ One of the best rhythm action games on any platform.I bought this game having loved developer Simogo's later work (fantastic interactive narrative games Year Walk and DEVICE 6), and I wasn't disappointed by this. It oozes quality, blending precise and tight rhythm action elements with a side scrolling stealth game. Every level is carefully designed and each chapter introduces a new central element that's always a lot of fun to fathom out as you try to 'get' the beat. I could analogy would be it's a blend of WarioWare and Rhythm Heaven, but fleshed out into a full game with a lot more depth. I mention this because the game itself feels like it could have been developed in-house at Nintendo, it's that good. Simogo really gets the feel of a game with this..Version: 1.0

When I first played it I wasn't that impressed (which was due to the fact that it was completely different from what I expected) so I didn't bother with it. That was up until four days ago when my phone ran out of data and I had no internet to browse, and I was bored so I thought I'd give this game another go. I have to say, I really should've given it more of a chance. It's a fantastic little game. The developers have got the balance perfect, it's taxing enough to keep you hooked, but not too taxing that you get over frustrated. I have completed all levels, and it has left me wanting more. ✓ Rhythm & StealthEffortlessly cool game, from the Tartakovsky-esque art style to the Ninja Tune-ish jazz/hip hop soundtrack, right through to the lovely fluid motion and simple finger tapping. The rhythmic aspect (and the music itself) is highly infectious which makes the gameplay so much more enjoyable, and coupled with the one-button one-direction playing style, it makes for some really interesting puzzles in what is a very unique, stylish and fun game. ✓ An interesting take on the rhythm genre!The game combines taping to the beat of the music, with a puzzle and stealth element. The music is really good from level to level. The only downside is that when later on, when puzzles get harder, the game gets kinda frustrating. ✓ One of the most ingenious little games.I have to give a five star for a game with just ingenuity in its design, and a solid performer. This ranks up with Tiny Wings as the two most ingenious game designs that offer so much gameplay with only one finger touching the screen to pull it off. Level design is great. Also nice to see how the timing of traps and all not only work into broadening the things you can accomplish with the simple mechanic, but they actually feed into the background music. That means, getting into the groove is needed to truly make solving the puzzles feel like a breeze. You start to lock onto what trap, door, etc. is associated with what instrument it is in the song. ✓ Clever and fulfilling genre mixtureIt's pretty amazing that they've mashed up stealth, rhythm, and puzzle into a single game. And it's even more amazing that it actually works really well and is a lot of fun. It's simply one of the most creative games I've seen on iOS so far. The controls are very simple (it's a one-button-style game) but there's a good amount of depth in how you use the movement to your advantage while navigating the levels. The puzzles are great, and there are plenty of head-scratchers that will keep you guessing. I don't find this game frustrating at all, because the rules are very simple and the gameplay runs perfectly. Once you've got that down, it's pure puzzle solving, which requires timing, direction, and placement in a combination that's hard to find elsewhere. It's a beautifully crafted and designed experience. The sound, a vital component of the game, is also very well produced and engaging. This is an A+ title that everyone should try. ✓ MarmiteRead the reviews, was wary about the purchase and then saw a review in a very reputable mag and though 'why not?'.. I haven't stopped playing it since :) Some reviews here are harsh, not everyone likes it, I personally did. The game feels like parapa the rapper (remember him?) but with a very simplified control and a more jazz funk style, it has it's own charm. There are 1/2 beat rhythm traps on later levels, but then there would be, wouldn't there. The sound is 'samey' I think because the rooms themselves make the tunes (the zaps, pings and grunts are made by stuff you see in each room) and it does stifle the range used, but it doesn't affect the game. It's a great game for the money and I look forward to the updates!.Version: 1.0

✓ Game is great.For those that read the review with the lack of control comment, listen here. The game is called a RYTHM game. Rythm games almost always make the player do things TO THE BEAT. In the case of this game, it's what adds the challenge. Without that one mechanic, the game would just be a normal stealth platformer with obstacles moving to the music. That would make things way too easy and eventually you'd lost interest. Not everyone's going to like the game though, so check out reviewer's takes on it, like Appvee and Appspy. ✓ Incredibly crisp and satisfyingCombining stealth with rhythm is a wonderful idea, and really comes into its own as you sneak past spotlights and execute a plan with perfect precision. There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to sticking to the beat though - my approach was to tap the back of my device on every beat when I didn't want to move, so maintaining the rhythm for when I needed it. The perfection demanded was initially daunting, but the crisp and funky presentation kept bringing me back, and after the first chapter I really got the hang of it. Just as I was starting to tire of it, I beat the finale, and then found myself devouring the bonus levels that come after. ✓ Excellent...I had this game on my iPhone for a few weeks before I really started playing it. At first, gameplay seemed a bit random, but that's only because there's so much crammed onto the small screen. I think the game might benefit from a few more training levels, with simpler music and no enemies, at the beginning, so you get to understand the strategy aspects a bit better. I'm a musician, with a pretty good sense of rhythm, but the beat-driven "funky jazz" used in this game has a lot of syncopation to catch you out, so people with limited rhythmic sense might struggle, hence the suggestion for the training levels. The beat is indicated visually, at the top of the screen in the centre (a flashing silhouette of your character) but a lot of the enemies (lights, police etc) are in sync with sounds which weave around that basic dush-dush, which might explain some people's perception of the timing being off, which it isn't, but it is…a bit tricky. Once you get into it though, it's spot on. The artwork is crisp & clever, and even the background is animated, I particularly like the woman necking the wine. Everything else shakes in time to the beat. Really high quality game, and seems to have plenty of levels to keep you hooked for hours. Brilliant sound effects too, all in sync with the music. ✓ By far the best iOS game at the momentThis and 'Pitfall' are the most enjoyable games to play on the iPhone and iPad at the moment in my opinion. They just make you want to play and play again. Normally I don't like 'puzzle' games but the beat tapping gives the app a whole new style of gameplay which is so much fun! And the retro 60s style art is just so cool too. ✓ AngryI liked this game a lot, until I got to the clocks worth final challenge. since the game I believe is directed to kids learning rhythm many of the levels are very easy. Although I would have enjoyed a challenge more I let it slide becuase the game is fun. the clocks worth would have been perfect because it is the hardest of the levels but I was wrong. It is extremely hard and I can't imagine a kid passing it without getting frustrated many times before. don't change the last level but in the future make it easier..Version: 1.0

It's so innovative while retaining simplicity—the epitome of genius in game design. At first I was a little annoyed by the game's one button, but it's so obvious now that this is the superior choice for this puzzle game. I've owned an iPod touch for a few years, along with some top-selling iOS games, and literally, this is the first iOS game I've ever played all the way through; I got bored with the others too quick—including number-one sellers! Even though I just beat this game, I'll probably start over again tomorrow. It definitely has replay value. I highly recommend it! (I even posted on FB about it, which I NEVER do.) To the developers: Outstanding game! I was a little nervous about the $2.99 price, having only seen one video and the GDC prize, but my impulse buy was well rewarded. You guys definitely deserve it. ✓ It's alright.The whole thing is just a bit repetitive however still a fun game. I like the music in the shadow stage the most. But the final stage is way too hard. I'm stuck on it and have to reply the first few bit so many times that I actually lost my patient. The concept of the boss stage is interesting but have to repeat the same thing so many times is just a bit too much and if you miss a bit then boom have to start all over again.
