✓ Good but issuesI liked this game when it first came out and i still play the cooking one. only issue i have now (which doesn’t apply to the challenges, only the main game) is that it seems that my trees just won’t grow anymore?? all my cats are just standing around doing nothing and i am not able to process more wood because the trees aren’t growing. it’s been like this for a few days. i’m not sure if they don’t grow when you’re not in the app, but i don’t want to wait around for the trees to grow when nothing is happening lol. pls fix this i want to play it.Version: 1.0.13
✓ Fun but paywalledFun but to progress you have to unlock managers through random boxes which have to be purchased with gems. Also the pirate event is impossible to progress through the whole thing without spending gems. Overall it is very expensive to play the game.Version: 1.0.13
✓ Unashamed, money-sucking, game.It’s sad that with its beautiful art style and concept for a game, this game decided to go full degenerate and monetise every aspect of the game. Imagine this: you go through the tutorial and immediately get presented a $30 micro transaction to double the speed and double the income of your lumber yard. Right. So, that 2x improvement is, what should have been, the “normal” rate of the game. However, the degenerate developers have decided to essentially halve this so that they have an anchor to sell you some insane macro transactions — yes, these are no small purchases but half of that a AAA game. Do yourself a favour. Speak with your wallet and delete this app. You’re time is more valuable than this garbage..Version: 1.0.12

✓ Glitchy, but has potentialThis is a fun and cute game, however there are bugs that need to be worked out. 1) For some reason, during the 2x speed + Flash Sales, the forklift from the storage to shipping will just zoom back and forth but not actually load any wood, so everything gets backed up and no orders are filled. I have to force quit, losing both bonuses. 2) Right now, I have four forests, but none of the trees will grow. They are stuck at the sapling level and the workers are just sitting there, so I’m just having to take the offer of logs, which is a bummer. 3) as others have stated, when it’s time to collect the rewards for Pirate Island, it freezes and I don’t get anything. 4) also to echo others, sometimes the kitties will fall asleep even though they have enough wood to do their tasks. It’s a new game and these issues will get sorted out, so I’m sticking with it for now..Version: 1.0.12

✓ Has lots of problemsI love snackbar and I also love this game. The fee of £20 to get rid of ads it’s a lot of money for a new game that has a lot of problems but I still love it and I paid it. Now I regret it, it has so many problems that need fixing. If they don’t get fixed, I will leave this game and never play it again and keep asking for a refund on the money I spent on it. I also commented under a post of snackbar on Instagram and left multiple DMs with screenshots of those problems. I hope someone will reply. (My Instagram starts with the letter ‘m’ and ends in ‘23’ if the developers choose to go and have a look) the messages sent were on the 11th of March. Please get back to me and fix this problem where the things machinery I update keeps giving me less and less money every time I re open the app and I also didn’t get any reward from the last island quests..Version: 1.0.13

✓ Lost most of my progressI played a lot over the weekend. Played a lot on a flight, too. Opened the game tonight and most all of my progress had been reset. Maybe going offline caused a backup to fail and be overwritten with a cloud save or something? I never signed into the game and only ever played on the same device. Very strange. Very frustrating. Was an OK game but I’m not restarting. Can’t believe there is this severe of a bug..Version: 1.0.13

✓ Don’t do itIt just a complete copy paste rip of all the other lumber tycoon games on this App Store, progression is halted almost immediately requiring you to upgrade the manager cards that can only be acquired through paid or add rng boxes. ✓ Stick to SnackbarThis is awful compared to Snackbar - profits seam incorrect (says you’ll make e.g 200 coins from an order, but you don’t get any coins) - the game froze and bugged out when getting the reward from the first event so received nothing - the orders don’t continue properly or count towards goals when you close the game (so not an idle tycoon) and the timer for the new order doesn’t even continue, so you close the app with 1 minute 20 seconds to go, and you still have to wait 1 minute 20 seconds when you log back in 2 hours later. Not sure if it’s just my game that’s broken, but I’m sticking to their first game.Version: 1.0.12
✓ Game is fun but has a very frustrating glitchI’ve played the Snack Bar cat game for a while and was excited to see this game come out since I really enjoy the snack bar. I preordered and played it as soon as it came out. It’s been a lot of fun honestly. I don’t have many gripes with it. The ads are fair, easy to check daily, feel like you’re constantly making progress, plus cute cats. However, it was very frustrating to do the Pirate Challenge and work on it for hours when I gained access to it, only for it to end, have the rewards say they are given to you, then have the game freeze and give you nothing. All that time I spent on it, and the game screwed me over. Hours playing it, wasted all for nothing. Because from what I can tell, the pirate event doesn’t effect the main building area. I had everything but the final legendary card, which I was so close to getting before time time ran out. The disappointment from having everything wasted, really bums me out, and has pretty much killed me wanting to play this game anymore. People playing, just be careful before sinking hours into this game on events, because you will most likely not get what you work for..Version: 1.0.12

The cards are hard to collect and I cannot progress any further because I need to upgrade 4 managers, but I don’t have enough of their cards. Otherwise the game is perfect! ✓ There needs to be a way to stop lumber and timber from going to storageThere needs to be a way to stop your forklifts from picking up lumber and/or timber. I am on Winter Sawmill and I’m so frustrated I’m about to give up the game. The storage will become full of lumber and then all my orders even auto orders will be timber. Then I’m forced to stop all my orders in hopes the next round has lumber orders. Or sometimes I will be in the middle of a timber order and the forklift cats will completely fill the storage up with lumber, again causing me to cancel my order. Idk if this is a way of making you spend money on the game but I am honestly so mad. There is no way to turn off production of the production lines to stop this from happening. Please allow us to throw out lumber/timber or some way to fix this from happening..Version: 1.0.5

✓ Data theftGame claims in its privacy policy that you can opt out of targeted ads. Links to a separate website that links to a faq that supposedly gives instructions how to opt out, but doesn’t. If you actually play the game, you’re forced to go through several minutes of tutorial before being allowed to open up settings, at which point you will see there is in fact no option to opt out..Version: 1.0.17
✓ DisappointingThis game lacks polish compared to their other game by a long margin. The gameplay loop and progression is fundamentally flawed and not fun. You essentially build houses for people and use the special currency gained from it to get expansions and unlock new technology and levels but here’s the problem. Each new expansion will require you to get more currency, to get more currency you must build houses. To build new houses you have to wait 1h-4h while getting resources for said house. The only resource you can idly get is wood and the rest (nails and paint) through special orders. The special orders only ask for the wood you have on hand not money. These are completely non-afk and you have to manually accept them every minute or so. This completely bogs down progression because now your progress is time gated not resource gated. There will come a certain point at every level where money stops mattering to you and you’re just waiting to build 10-20 houses. It’s silly because there’s all this advertising for “2x money” or upgrades for more money but the money doesn’t help you progress any faster and is useless past the first 20 minutes of the level. What matters is speed of your cats accepting orders and producing materials for those orders. That and moving material to your workshop where the houses are built. This is completely reliant on a “Clash Royale” styled card system where you collect cats and then eventually upgrade them. Which in the early game is a turn-away and sucks because half of your stuff won’t be automated until they level up but lets say you get through it. Well then you run into the second turn off because some of your machines speed upgrades are completely tied to your cats level. That would be fine if it progressively got faster. It doesn’t, each time you expand to the next level the level cap for the speed upgrades increases for your cat managers. So basically each time I expand my lumber mill is getting SLOWER and now I’m building houses SLOWER. So when you think about it what even is the point of expanding?!? All the resources except money carry over to the next level anyways and since the progression system only cares about what resources you have and not money it would actually be better to straight up not upgrade. There’s nothing to do with the endless amount of money you earn and instead are stuck in a waiting fest. Your expansions just earn you more money and don’t make you any faster and you spend your money to make more money but barely at all to progress faster. This is also ignoring the fact your assembly line bugs out and stops producing materials for zero reason randomly forcing you to restart the app. Or better yet your forklifts bottleneck themselves by creating two different stacks of wood. Most of the purchases as a consumer don’t feel worth it enough especially since managers are unlocked through gacha and get their usefulness decreased as you progress. ALSO THE GACHA BOXES CAN CONTAIN MONEY?!? Why! This stuff is useless to me?! TLDR: In general I could write more but the progression blows and turns this game into a glorified screen saver and battery waster. It doesn’t feel anywhere near as engaging as “Cat Snack Bar” and it’s unfortunate because without some changes I don’t see this game being as good as it’s former. It’s not the simple enjoyable loop of money > upgrade > more money > repeat until maxed and progress. It’s money > upgrade > more money > repeat until you are max speed > wait 48 hours because now your money is useless > progress and do it all again but wait 72 hours and we took your speed away and locked it behind gacha..Version: 1.0.6

✓ Loved it until today 🤦🏻♀️I have played this game nonstop since it came out and even pre-saved it months before. Everything has been great. It had some minor glitches but i expected that from a new game. Today all of my trees stopped growing. I waited all day hoping they would start back and at this point I can only get more logs by clicking the add logs pop up. ✓ It was perfect for so longFor the past week i've been playing nonstop with only one problem, the forklift going to do the orders will glitch out and will go back and forth from the wood to the orders but won't actually take anything. Normally just restarting the app would work but it did it on the event and i restarted it 3 times before deleting it to redownload to see if that worked, it did but it sent me back 5 days and i went from the winter year 2 to having to buy the summer one again. Other than that it's perfect, im not upset enough to stop playing entirely but it's a little irritating. Also i had just saved my progress before doing that so it wouldn't happen and it confirmed it but it said i last saved it the 21st (it's the 26th while writing this) Also to the ppl saying the orders don't pay out, they do but the pay out as the orders being done rather than all at once at the end. ✓ New game / time will tellSo being some of the first to get the new game this is just a basic review. So I believe the game play is some what similar to the restaurant game but on a slightly bigger scale and some lovely differences like fulfilling orders as a task. Uphrading is the same unlocking areas in the same. Only thing I dislike is you have to keep waking the truck drivers up. It’s not a mega issue but it will get annoying as time goes on. Edit I’m not enjoying the game I don’t like the you have to remain on the game for areas to build if you come off the app it stops and I don’t want to be having to remain on a game for 15mims just to wait for a building to build especially when you waiting on money to upgrade so with that I have deleted the game..Version: 1.0.13

✓ Great game but stopped workingI really love idle tycoons, and this is one of the best ones I’ve played, but after one day of playing it completely broke. My driver cat that takes wood to the packaging facility just stopped moving therefore backing up the whole operation and now none of my cats are doing anything. I’ve tried restarting my phone, deleting and redownloading the app, restarting the game, loading an old save, and upgrading my driver. ✓ Losing moneyIt’s kinda annoying sometimes doing orders doesn’t give me any coins and the way the forklifts prioritize dropping off wood is inefficient. I have two debarkers, one faster than the other, and the faster one is usually empty compared to the usually full slower one. instead of continuously giving up wood to the empty one the lifts try to divide the wood evenly and if it can’t instead of offloading the rest on the empty one it just sits in its designated area until there’s a space for the wood at the slower debarker. I’m losing out on tons of income and at this point I’m just wasting my time playing.Version: 1.0.12

✓ Way too buggy right now.Game and graphic is nice but QC is really lacking. First of all, stations literally stop working randomly. I would be playing, then all of a sudden my sanding stations stops moving. There’s a huge stack of timber so that’s not the issue, the cutting station has to stop because the sanding station is maxed out on stock, etc. there’s no reason for sanding station to stop, my inventory is empty. I have to keep restarting the app to fix it but then I lose my boosts. Second, my daily mission didn’t even reset, so I cannot actually earn stars since I had done them yesterday already. This is so basic, I don’t even understand how that part can fail. Third, my missions are not being recognized. Produce “50 wood”, yeah I have shipped around 1000 (after cutting and sanding, unless there’s another machine I haven’t unlocked yet) of them yet I haven’t produce any. How the heck does this get through QC? Hiring manager of level 2, I got around 10-12 of them all > level 2, yes it doesn’t trigger. I even got a new manager, leveled them up to 2 and it still didn’t recognize it. Baffled how bad this is beside their other game runs so well. When I stop regular order or the workshop order, it would sometimes also cancel my special orders..Version: 1.0.5

✓ Enjoyable game but bug deleted everythingI really enjoyed this game until now. I have their other game, which I also love, and I’ve played this new one since the day it came out nonstop. About a week ago, my app refused to load when I opened it and has been doing it every time since. Today when I tried, it loaded but all my progress was gone. I had all of the production and sales manager. And quite a few of the super managers. All the rewards I got from the previous premium star pass that I bought are also gone. I was already half way through the second year. And now with everything gone, including stuff I paid for, I doubt I’ll be playing again. ✓ Great game, not so great bugs.Despite the content being a bit limited, it’s a fun game. That being said, there are a few bugs with the orders/wood packaging area that forces me to close and relaunch the application every 30 seconds to a minute. The last couple rewards seem just too hard to reach without spending loads of money. This is even with x4 profits.
