Worst company everAfter waiting for my package for a week My shipment got canceled because the driver claimed that he got no answer from us when he was trying to reach us, this was just a big fat LIE ! Pour Courier ServiceSecond time it happened to me that the item ordered was supposed to be next day delivery . Called the customer service of Qexpress courier around 3pm in the afternoon since no calls was received from the courier itself. Customer service gave me assurance that delivery is until 9pm. Did another follow up call around 7pm and i was told the delivery guy returned the shipment at the office because this delivery guy called me and I asked him to have it deliver the nextday, that was the report the customer service informed me. My phone did not even ring once and I made it clear to them when I did my follow up call that I will be waiting for my shipment. Not reliable serviceJust remember when you order from the site "souq" (highly rated on app store) the companies they buy from cannot always be trusted as reliable. Customer serviceSouq is providing absolutely horrible customer service when it comes to delivering orders. 1. Even though the address of the receiver is mentioned in the order and selected on the map - the courier (who in most cases doesn’t speak English) needs a verbal explanation via phone. 2. The Souq operators don’t give a phone call once the order is placed. The time when they call - the courier is ALREADY on the way. I work at night so for me it’s extremely important to adjust the timings of my deliveries in advance. But even if I wasn’t - giving a call about an order would be an attribute of professional and respectful company. 3. Couriers try to argue on the phone about timing of deliveries - me as customer should be treated more respectfully..Version: 5.43

Poor customer service & non-exciting dealsI used to be a regular buyer earlier as you’ll used to have some fantastic deals & flash offers and the prices of those items were genuinely lower & competitive from the market prices. Also, if there was any complaint, I would get call backs if no one was able to attend to me & immediately get an email from Souq mentioning exactly what I told the customer care person for my records. But from the start of 2018 your customer service has drastically declined. The contact number on your app is never answered by anyone. My email complaints are either not replied to or I get a response after a long time & follow-up. And for the products that I used to buy earlier at good offers on your site are no longer existing & have become expensive. The offers shown are fake as many of those items are overpriced to show the big discounts. Good shopping but very very bad applicationShopping with Souq is fine. Good service yet the application is so poorly done! I moved from country to another yet I am unable to update my address. I cannot update my phone number and every time I press the link for customer service I redirected to the same options. Package damaged from shipping and not returning my moneyHorrible! I bought many items on Black Friday and they never came and I still have not been refunded. They said that the items were damaged in the shipping company and I have called three times and till now the shipping company is not updating the system in order for me to get my money back. Great - as long as the product worksI have found the app great for ordering and service and delivery really fast. The problem started with an iPhone which has a battery fault. I eventually got the product back with ‘no fault found’ and it still doesn’t charge. They then remove the option to return again and that’s where the problem starts. Performance is decreasing with timeI have been using Souq since long time through Souq app in different countries. My first problem is trying chancing location to my account that ended up creating new one for new country. Another change was also not possible to change the email address then I created another new account with another new email. In my last order that still not delivered (I am not in hurry) I received 5 “arriving soon” message in different days and timings and yet nothing received nor being contacted. I am trying to report this through the app and it’s not almost possible except through phone call! What a useless app then! Sellers are feeling no problem to try sending faulty products to see if you will accept and if not “just return it” is their answer (happened twice with me). Definitely, there is no enough control from Souq nor punishment to irresponsible sellers..Version: 5.48.1

Souq scores amazon downEvery step in there works are bad. Used item sold as new. One day delivery claimed and website keeps mentioning tomorrow for few days and on their way for another couple of days. Customer service unreachable, and if so, they are cheating by acting their un real actions and tries to give you lies to sedate you for a while. Returning back the wrong color, used items and wrong items is a headache and finally the refund might takes weeks if they accept to pay you back. It is a shameful company and amazon should think twice before adding it to their name..Version: 5.57

Okay but needs ImprovementSo far no issues with deliveries and items. Hopefully there will be none in the future! Just improve on: 1. Details of Items - Don't accept your seller's items if product specs or info are incomplete or misleading. Buyers dont need to know more if not the complete details of the items before they purchase. Quality speaks more than the price, well for me it is! 2. Be more competetive with your discounted items. - Check your competetions especially AWOK. 3. For multiple items, deliver them all at the same time! Regardless if one or two has different delivery dates, why cant you deliver them at the same time? After all, you require the items to be paid ONE TiME right? 4. Improve your app. I cant specify but im sure theres so much more to develop and featured to add. Cheers! SIX consecutive orders from different sellers got canceled too, and their brilliant explanation to that was that the items were “sold out “. The items are still being offered by the same sellers to this moment, had the customer ‘service’ cared to check!! Money isn’t given back either! They are asking ME to provide THEM my private bank statement to prove the non-existence of refund!!!! Quite a ripoff, disappointing responses and incompetence.
