The best out there!Forget amplitude, forget ampkit, jamup. This is what you are looking for. It is so simple to use! The sounds are amazing and you can use it in Reaper without having too use it like a plug in. Works with Audiobuss too. I plugged in my guitar and found presets that made me sound amazing. You can't beat the price and the selections of sound that come pre installed in this app. This is a must have..Version: 1.4

Truly spectacular and gloriousAs a garageband owner I have enjoyed their guitar amps, but I had no idea tonestack would be the end all and be all. This is, no doubt, the greatest app I have ever owned. I can just plug in and play these astounding amps and effects for hours. As an electric guitar player I would normally quibble, BUT I’M NOT EVEN GOING TO QUIBBLE. Hats off to Yonac..Version: 3.3

The Beast of Effects Got BetterThis is simply a beast of an effects rack! I have been using this on guitar, voice and keyboards. I'm getting really good results. Going against their closest rival, you know who they are, I'm inclined to use this more often. I can use ToneStack on my iPad and iPhone using the same app, unlike the other guys that require different apps. Version 2.0 finally got bass amps! If they can bring keyboard amps this will round their package. The app is unpretentious and has a lot of items, it does effects amazingly well, thanks for giving us this much power..Version: 2.1

ExcellentExcellent app. Love most of the tones, some need a bit of work to get right, but persevere with it and you'll find the tones you're after. Good tape player for practice and excellent 8-track for recording. All in all, despite its slightly toy like appearance, just let your ears decide. Once you add a Blueboard, or similar, and an expression pedal it's a great setup..Version: 3.3

Incroyable!!!!!J'ai vraiment l'impression que l'ont est rentré dans une révolution dans la modélisation sur mobile.... BRAVO!!.Version: 1.4

Can't have a 1* review for this!Absolutely brilliant. Losing some patches is not reason to give 1* to this. I have reviewed most music apps and only half a dozen ever got 5*. The patches are designed by sound engineers so getting a better sound than the ones they include will be for sound engineers. But trying all the gadgets is fun. Super app..Version: 3.0

My favourite guitar amp sim!Very easy to use & great sound! Highly recommended :).Version: 3.3

WowI kind of thought we'd gone as far as we were going with amp sims, the first wave performing quite well, then Bias shaping it all up. Then this... What is missing from the obvious fanfare of its arrival is the clarity of the Sound, it's simply incredible. I'm not a stack 35 channels of distortion up kind of guy, but if I wanted to,this could not only do it, it it might still be useful. It sounds better than the rest, simple. It's the first of its kind to make me want a guitar! Yonac, once again, takes the gold..Version: 1.3

The Best!I've been trying to find a good amp sim for 10+ years, including various hardware modelers. I've tried all the iOS apps and this leaves them in the dust; I've yet to find a better, organic 'tube' sound and have drawn compliments using this for open mics. The only nits: while it is possible to save/share settings, the app doesn't have any kind of community feature to faciliate sharing presets (the company's forum has a thread for this, but it isn't very active). I also wish there were a way to get ToneStack on my Mac!.Version: 3.3

QuestionWhat is the difference between ToneStack and ToneStack Go?.Version: 3.3

Excellent!!I just scratched the surface of what it can do, and so far I like what I hear! Stereo, stereo, and more stereo. That is a huge difference from the "other" famous iOS modeler apps. Thanks for making this app, it is freedom in sculpting your sound..Version: 1.2

Surprisingly goodI use this through an Alesis io dock 2 plugged into an Atomic Reactor amp and the variety of tones on offer is amazing. I thoroughly recommend it..Version: 2.2

The guitar app I use. This developer must be a very compassionate musician/software empath. Because after all the phq'n around I have done just to find guitar apps that have adequate interoperability, real time control schemes and BT & hi-speed networking of aforementioned, this app delivers. Oh yeah and sounds great. YONAC delivers. Buy the whole enchilada it stands alone and plays well with others. I could rave about individual amps, cabs, effects, utilities, and so on. However suffice to say that each and every one of them bring a unique flavor to a great overall experience. I love it. And I love the fact that when I bought the whole v.2 motherload it was really the complete product and v.3 was even better. I have pretty much tried all the guitar apps for iOS. This is the app I use. Honest I'm not a YONAC shill. This program is great. Thanks for the read. EJL.Version: 3.1

Amazing!!I have started on the amp sim on iOS and so far I have bought AmpliTube, Bias amp/JamUp Pro as well as ToneStack (with that exact order). I found about ToneStack as I was browsing the Gear Page forums and after I bought AmpliTube and the Bias amp/JamUp Pro. I wish I new about it beforehand. I bought the bias pair as I wasn't happy with the sound on AmpliTube. Bias is good but there is a lot of tweaking available and before you know about it you can be spending a lot of time going back and forth, keep adjusting the parameters to get the perfect tone instead of playing. To me ToneStack feels like the physical hardware. They have nailed the tone right out of the box and there is enough tweaking available to mod your sound. You don't need 1000 options, you just need great sound to inspire you to keep playing. Thank you Yonac! :-).Version: 2.3

Awesome FX appOne of my favorites. Great value and high quality. Loads of fun to be had. Thanks Yonac..Version: 2.3

GreatWish I could give more stars..Version: 2.3

The BestThe best of the lot!! I know I have them all. Gorgeous amp models warm and organic. By a long margin the best effects in class. Equipment used ; I pad4. Apogee one v2.Version: 1.2

Great guitar appBetter than Bias and AmpliTube but seems to exist rather in their shadow. Check it out, get beyond the rather lacklustre presets and you’ll find a powerful amp sim with excellent fx..Version: 3.3

Great for practice and live use!I'm using this with a BlueBoard and not only has it been ridiculously convenient, but it also sounds INCREDIBLE. The BlueBoard needs button 'A' remapped to control '1' instead of the default '0' for ToneStack to recognize the CC, but after that it was smooth sailing. The 'mix' knob on the ABY pedal is mapped to a single button on the BB so I can switch between 2 signal paths (clean or dirty) by just toggling that button. Other buttons are mapped to delays and boosts. My expression pedal is hooked up to a wah and, with 'state control' enabled, turns off when completely heel down. The other expression input on the BB has a tiny DIY momentary switch that is connected to tap tempo in ToneStack. This rig is perfect for my needs: portable, lightweight (bad back), and sounds awesome. Yonac knows what they are doing..Version: 1.4

Simply THE BEST!Save your time and $$ and get this wonderful App and the great add-ons you want to use with it. You won't be disappointed! These guys KNOW what they're doing and produce truly great products. As a Songwriter/ Musician, I've been recording in Pro Tools and Logic for the past 15 years. I decided to start using an iPad for my project ideas and portability and have to say that this App is at the core of my music. The sounds from this App rival the sounds I get micing my Marshall & Mesa Tube Amps and I'll probably end up using the tracks in PT & Logic for my final mixes. The beautiful, streamlined interface is VERY user friendly and if you need Tech Support it's actually there. You Get What You Pay For!.Version: 1.3

Excellent amp and effect sim.I have them all.. but what makes this one stand out is the A/B splitter mixer...I can create chains of effects like I do on my Fractal audio axe-fx...the sound is amazing...I have created a Pat Metheny signal chain with the delays split into two channels after being fed by a chorus effect into both channels and all this right after the amp...couldn't do this in other amp sims..great app!.Version: 1.4

NOTHING touches Tonestack, NOTHING....Hands down the best guitar sound processing app on the appstore, or anywhere else, for that matter (Bias amp is Good, and Bias Fx is, too, but it is too buggy and hard to tweak just right to get it to sound decent, and every effect added to an amp, diminishes the sound quality, quite extraordiinarily — NONE OF THAT WITH TONESTACK). All the effects here in Tonestack, are fantastic sounding, and quite organic, too, as are all the amplifiers (the Vox and Fender amps are STUNNING). It seems like most people griping here about it either don’t have a decent interface with which to use it, and so as to be able to tweak it just right to get all the available monster tones, or simply aren’t experimenting with it enough. Some of the negative reviews actually shock me, because Tonestack sounds so good to me, and right out of the gate. Every time. Anyway, I have been using it since its inception (around 2014) and it’s hands down my go to app for guitar, and I have them ALL. I wish to God they made a desktop version for the Mac, but who knows if that will ever happen. Also, Yonac, I’M TALKIN’ TO YOU!! Are there going to be any updates soon, it has been a year now, without an update...perhaps NEW GEAR SOON?? Love you guys!!.Version: 3.3

Great app, some suggestionsTonestack is a fantastic app, and the amps and effects sound great. A small but very useful feature is the detune mode on the tuner, so if you are playing along to a song that is tuned half a step down you can easily play in tune. Could a future update please include an ability to do this for each string individually, so you could play in drop D or even in open tunings without actually needing to retune your guitar? That would be awesome. Also, maybe throwing in more presets with future updates would be cool as they are good starting points and helpful to see how some of the more unusual pedals could be used in a musical way. Anyway great app and thoroughly recommended!.Version: 3.3

Brilliantly spectaculars! All the Yonac apps I have are phenomenal, if you are thinking about adding to your collection you really can't go wrong with this developers amazing work. Tonestack v 1.7 is top draw in it's basic form but touches almost tonal nirvana with the 'Motherload' v 1.0. I run it through an iPhone 5s and iRig 2 into a Gibson GA-5 amp and the tones are stacked huge, works great with headphones too. Future updates I'd like to see...more amps like Supro, Gibson, Magnatone, Dumble, Standel...more effects such as Echorec, Watkins Copycat. Tonestack is my favourite amp&cab&effects app on iOS. THANK YOU YONAC definitely five stars all the way..Version: 1.7

Great sound, fun looksI've purchased most of the guitar amp and effects sims for iPad and iPhone, including JamUp Pro, its successor Bias FX, and Flying Haggis. The sound of this one is up there with the best of them, and it keeps improving. The reproduction of the Boss chorus pedal is the best I've found on an iPad. The two Motherlodes are a great way to explore the history of guitar amps and effects in seemingly infinite combinations. I also like the look of the individual units and their witty names. Thank you, Jim Yonac, for this wonderful instrument..Version: 2.1

Elegant and functionalParticularly like being able to split and recombine the signal path.Version: 1.4

Very good start indeedBought this on a Youtube review. This app is fantastic value, especially if you buy the motherload offer pack. I think the sound quality exceeds, or certainly equals many of the more expensive apps. The only other competition this app has is from the "Flying Haggis" amp sim, which in my own opinion is unbeatable sound wise, but this app wins hands down on the amount of effects, and the cool tape deck+studio/live rig. Best way is to buy this app for the effects etc, and the Haggis too and forget the competition. Best app of it's kind so far. And works out cheapest in its class. No brainer really..Version: 1.0

Keep an eye on this oneI own most of the notable amp and fx modelers for guitar, and although Tone Stack doesn't have the overall polish of Jam Up or Amp Kit, it still has something to offer. I feel Tone Stack beats out the others when it comes to the tone and tweakability of effects. I like that Tone Stack gives the option to bypass the amp modeling and use it purely as an effects processor, as I prefer the sound of my own amp. Also, the line selector functionality is very cool and really expands your tonal options. I hope future updates streamline the UI, as flipping through modules and saving your setup is less intuitive than other programs. The ability to more easily identify what effects are on or off would also be welcome..Version: 1.0

Very good, but IAP issue (solved!)Have used since release, and it's excellent sounding. Knocking off a point because the Motherload v3 IAP I purchased on one device is not restorable on my second device, although that worked fine for the Motherload v2 IAP I also purchased previously. Update - that issue has been fixed in recent update. Rating revised to 5 stars..Version: 3.1

Best app for guitar!Best sounding and overall app for guitar... ToneStack 3 upgrade is just amazing. Acoustic simulator is awesome!!!! Thanks to Yonac!.Version: 3.0

Good sounding Guitar appI will echo Gitarzz words: The noise gate is horrible, doesn't do a whole lot. I can't figure out if I can dial in some heavy tones because it is always squealing and screaching with high gain amps and distortion pedals. I love the always on tuner, that is very cool. I feel that the sounds/effects are a bit, ?? electronic sounding? I still prefer JamUp Pro to anything out there, the sound quality is second to none. But, for the intro price, the base of the app is very very good..Version: 1.3

The best! The best amp and effects app on iOS!.Version: 3.3

Ver 2 is a big upgrade. Great app. Edited. After a week of using this app, having had a chance to delve into every amp and effect I can't speak more highly it. This app is a must have now. Out of all the guitar amp & effect apps, there are about 7 that are worth considering. Tonestack previously was in the middle of the pack. With this latest version upgrade they improved everything, but especially two areas where it was weak. Poor high gain sounds and a delay between switching presets that made it unusable for changing sounds in a song when playing live. Now this app in my opinion is the best of its kind. Definitely worth getting. Lastly I have to give kudos to the developer for providing a reasonable price upgrade path for existing owners..Version: 2.0

Keep up the great workWithout a doubt the best sounding in this busy category of guitar effect apps, To my mind he Space Echo alone is worth the purchase price of the motherload and is now an essential part of my sound. I do hope Yonac continue to put that level of detail into any new effects and amps and continues to emulate high end boutique pedals and rack effects, I would like more options for high gain amplifiers but that does not mean I am in any disappointed. I love how Yonac allows the quality of their apps to speak for themselves unlike the tacky spruiking employed by some of the competing yet inferior competition..Version: 1.3

Brill app!I have bought all ios guitar amp/effects apps and this one is definitely my favourite. I would have liked more pedals to start with but the amps and effects instantly sound great without too much tweaking. For instance, the green overdrive pedal looks and sounds very similar to an actual Ibanez tubescreamer pedal. (There's a vid on YouTube switching between Tonestacks version and the actual pedal and there's not much in it, sound wise). Paid for some Iap's and the ones I've tried are great too. The reverse delay is the best I've heard on iOS. Not many get the univibe right and I'm not sure it's quite right here but placed before the rotary box (another iap) it sounds very good. Also, I think the UI is much better than the others. They all look similar but Tonestacks interface is nicer to play about with. Another in app purchase I bought was the mixer upgrade. You get two tracks to start with but I love overdubbing guitars so paid for the rest and I'm glad I did. The mixer is top notch. Can add insert effects after the track has been laid down plus two send/returns. Plus I load backing tracks into the mixer that I've made in other apps to play along with. The mixer reminds me of my old portastudio but with better sound quality! The tape player is a nice touch too. If you're thinking of buying this, think no more and download!!!.Version: 3.1

Best iOS guitar rig by farFor some reason everyone seems to assume these days that Bias/Jamup Pro/Bias FX are the best, end of discussion. I have all the Positive Grid apps and while they are certainly good, they are not untouchable. Tonestack has significantly better signal routing options than Jamup Pro, and I prefer the amp sounds and most of the effects in Tonestack over Bias and Jamup as well. I'm a Marshall guy, and the '67 Anglia Marshall in Tonestack has the dynamics, the gritty, airy midrange, and rough low end of a mid-late 60's Super Lead (think live Cream, Hendrix, and Kossof) that so far I haven't heard in any other Sub-Kemper/Axfx modeler, Bias included. It seems the other iOS modelers aim for an ideal Marshall tone rather than a realistic one. I've also used my actual fuzz pedals (Fulltone 69 and 70) in front of the Apogee Jam with Tonestack and it sounds great. Can't say that about the other iOS apps. Love the ribbon mic tone on the cab sim too, warm but detailed. The Jtm45 model also sounds very accurate with a zingy top end and slightly muddy lower mids just like the real thing. I can't speak for all the amp sounds/mother load etc, but I've been using it for about a month now and so far I'm just as happy with it now as day one..Version: 1.4

AwesomeAwesome. It’s subjective I know but with my style of playing, with my guitar (sss Strat) and the genres I play (punk/dub/ska/metal/reggae) this beats jamup, bias and amplitude hands down. The effects are especially good..Version: 3.3

Very nice indeedGreat program! It's the only amp and effect simulation I have tried that can play at 48khz and 24 bit depth! Good going!.Version: 2.1

IncredibleAs a long-standing tube-amp & analog effect purist type I was sceptical that a £10 app could sound decent but boy was I surprised. Superb alternative to micing up an amp and pedalboard when recording into Cubasis 2. Only hope it doesn’t get neglected when IAA is eventually lost on iOS..Version: 3.3

ExcellentI use Bias and I love it, but I read about this and thought I'd check it out at the introductory price. So far it's a great modeling app with many nice options even in the base setup. By far the most impressive and standout feature is the ABY splitter, which lets you set up separate chains for left and right channels. I've just started to dig into this, but the possibilities seem endless, mixing different amps, cabs, and effects across the left and right, and having the ability to control the separation. The preset chains give you great examples of the potential of ABY. Try it, you'll get hooked. One thing I would love is the ability to control the AB pan with an expression pedal....Version: 1.2

First Class Guitar AppA great set of amps and effects. Plenty of choice, friendly UI and a very stable app. Love it!.Version: 2.1

RecommendedGreat app. Simple. It works!.Version: 1.7

Blown awayI am using this in combination with a Roland Duo-Capture EX to provide a virtual fx rack for my Minimoog XL. I really only needed the custom shop studio bundle along with the Cosmic Echo as I'm a keyboardist. So for a minimal investment I'm completely set. Very cool how you can pick and choose what matters most for your needs. Will be getting the 8 track next for sure. Amazing stuff, recommend all their apps.Version: 3.1

This is the one. After trying free versions of several other guitar amp and pedal sims, I have settled on this one, not just because it sounds good (though I can't say it has a clear edge in some regards than say Amplitube or even the Mobile Pod app that came with my Sonic Port), but it is unquestionably the most usable. It's the only app I found that lets the user adjust input gain, which is a must for an interface like mine that doesn't allow hardware adjustments. It also allows adjustments to the simulation quality and the input buffer size, which is also unique to this app alone. I have not needed a manual (yet), but I have been working with music production software for quite some time as a recording and mix engineer, so that give me an unfair advantage. I find it very straightforward to use, regardless. Highly recommended. I use it mainly as an "effects pedalboard" with the IK Blueboard. I went all in for $65, and that was money worth paying. Nice that it didn't constantly bother me to buy expansions like Amplitube does. And it is a universal app... I don't have to buy a separate version for the iPad like BIAS makes its customers do (funny that they recently pulled the iPhone version of BIAS FX... hmm...).Version: 2.1

Love it!Amazing app. Just what I was looking for... easy, clean, straight forward interface with a bunch of effects pedals (I bought the bundle version 3). I'm really impressed with how much useful stuff is in this app... the tuner, the backing track, the mixer, the way you can add pedals and move the order... save presets ... and the "on stage mode". Mind blown..Version: 3.1

Beats out all the rest by farI've got every iOS app for amp and effect modelling on my iPhone 6 and I keep coming back to this one. It's more of an all in one package and the tones are excellent. Stereo makes a huge difference, as does the amp blending. Everything about this app is studio quality. I'm hooked on the effects and the amps are endless in their possibilities. Usually with these iOS apps I stick with one or two tonal variations between two amps. With this one it seems like every amp and cab mixture is another useable flavour. Well done and I look forward to updates! New update to Motherload v2 is yet another huge improvement. The Dr. Z amps are just an excellent improvement on what was already a great set of amps to choose from. Improved load times are a welcome addition as well..Version: 2.0

Ridiculous valueYou can argue differences between amplitube/jamup/ampkit etc., they all have their pluses and minuses - tonestack is up with the best of them - and imo, gives you a lot more options and bang for the $. It really comes down to how you use it. But just consider; the whole thing cost less than a single pedal - just own it..Version: 1.4

I’m blown away. Great sounding App!I have been waiting for the sale on the mother load and bundles and got them and they are amazing!!! I’m a producer/keyboard player who plays guitar for “fun” but don’t consider myself a pro by any mean but I do have heard and played with MANY amp sims going back to the original line6 POD years ago and I really think the amp and Stomp sims are outstanding in tonestack. I haven’t played a lot since earlier this year and took it out and hooked up to tonestack and played for like 3 hours till my fingers were sore ! So much fun trying different Amps and stomps! I then ran my montage clavinet wound through the wah and cranked a Marshall with delay wow what a sound. Can’t wait to incorporate tonestack into my live rig and start playing again! Thanks YONAC!.Version: 3.3

Best Guitar Modelling on iosSounds amazing and the tonal possibilities are endless. Highly recommended..Version: 3.3

Trully awesomeGreat app, easily worth the money. Not only is this awesome for guitars but it sounds amazing with synths. Interface is perfect. 5/5.Version: 1.2

Oddsox Strumer🎸Simply...put.....Bias, Amplitude and Ampkit Cannot (to me) match the Acoustic sounds, (From a squire electric) have managed to squeeze out of this app, in 5 Mins. I would not use above as Acoustic sims at all. Good sale price to😃.Version: 3.1

1st review to be updated.I'm a guitarist primarily, but, love dabbling with synths and making electronic music. I own Magellan, which is fully upgraded with presets. What I love about Yonac is their preset pack updates and also the genius feature of Magellan...the "Preset Spawn". Hopefully some equivalent preset generator can be created for Tonestack. Ok, off to test this app, which I have upgraded to Motherload, which I think will need a few weeks if not months to fully appreciate. I will be comparing to Amplitube, Jampup/Bias and Ampkit which I also own fully upgraded versions when I return to properly review, cheers!.Version: 1.0

Criminally underrated, amongst competition from great apps, ToneStack may be iOS's best amp modelerBecause Amplitube has licensed name brands like Fender and Marshall, it seems to get the most attention. BIAS and JamUp Pro used excellent sounds and extreme customization to become an iOS guitarists favorite. Amplitube to me is more sizzle than steak, it looks great but the sounds aren't happening. BIAS/JamUp has some incredible tones for a digital amp sim but the extra amps, bundles and BIAS FX are really quite pricey and not all of the amps & effects are as good as the best the amp delivers. But this amp modeler ToneStack is something different...first off, the pricing is very good, especially during the sale that was on when I bought the app and complete expansion bundle for well below what BIAS FX's entry price point is with zero expansion packs. Secondly, the array of believable, and most importantly, useable amp tones is staggering. The app that comes closest to ToneStacks brilliant sound quality is Peavey's Ampkit which is another underrated gem. I have Amplitube with complete add-ons, JamUpPro & BIAS and Ampkit with all the add-ons loaded on my Air 2 and to me adding ToneStack wasn't overkill or a waste of dough. This app just does some things better than those others do. As a guitarist who digs editing sounds and having lots of options to work with, ToneStack is a brilliant guitar tool that is much more than just another "app"..Version: 1.7

Amazing!!Not a detailed run through here, just my 2 cents worth: Freakin' awesome! Love the models and effects. The eight track and audio file player, along with the option to bring in all your other IAA effects and instruments make this a one-stop stand alone studio environment. Rocks!.Version: 2.2

Stacks Of ToneI downloaded TS Go for free... impressed. I dropped £10 on the V3... floored. I purchased the mother load for nearly £50... Think my five stars says the rest. If not though, here's a quick review. BUY THIS APP!!! Seriously folks, this app is awesome. The amps and cabs feel great, sound great, break up and squeeze in all the right places like a real amp should. You can tailor your tone and feel to go from soothing cleans to mental metal. And yes, it djents. Then there's the fx; two words... sublime. I know that's one word but the other one is a swear word that sounds like "ducking". ;) You can look for comparisons from all the major players like Bias and AmpliTube but is it any better or worse? No... it's different and that's no bad thing. Sounds and feels great and that's enough. And I know good tone and should do after the years I've been playing..Version: 3.3

Stop reading, Start playing ! inSTUDIO 8 is 🔥After extensive research obsessing over every Amp Sim in this store I made the leap and now spend my time playing thru ToneStack rather than reading hundreds more reviews comparing each of these. I've been using it a year now and still love it! Yonac is committed to continued support (*cough* I'm looking at you JamUp Pro *cough*) Everyone boasts the rich warm tones and untouchable modulation effects, admittedly superb, but the Acoustic Amp sims put a Gibson Hummingbird, Martin, or Taylor in my hands. Equally underrated is the inSTUDIO 8-track recorder, simply outstanding. Until Apple ports Logic Pro X to iOS, this 8-track serves as my DAW and supports routing other apps (even you BiasFX ) thru Inter-App-Audio. It's got everything, MIDI, ABY, the whole 9. Put on some headphones, or feed your amps Send/Return Loop and enjoy true stereo chorus, phasers, Flangers, etc. You won't be disappointed! 🤘🏻.Version: 3.3

The bestThe best guitar package on AppStore..Version: 3.3

Great app but...Terrific app overall but always reverts back to input 1 with Apogee One which is annoying because that's the internal mic on the One, not the instrument input. Please fix ASAP..Version: 1.0

Pocket Guitar Effects SuiteSo I love analog effects and tubes and vintage gear. I have spent too much money on things my skill level doesn't deserve. What Yonac has made here is truly breath taking. The sound quality of these effects are the best out of all the iOS apps, yes I bought them all, yes they are all good, this is the best. The effects are so good that sometimes when I'm recording using waves plugins (guitar tool kit) on Logic Pro, I think to myself, I wish I could use Yonac's ToneStack in Logic Pro, no joke that has crossed my mind several times. If they make a plugin pack for logic I will buy it. There is a downside to this, it can be a major distraction when it comes to productivity during practice, I usually end up just jamming with myself and doing layering on layering on layering and not actually practicing, and that is because the delays and reverbs are truly incredible. This full suite is well worth the price for any fellow effects lover, it's just truly fun. Things that don't work very well? Wah's, Whammy, really anything that uses a midi expression pedal, and that's just cuz midi expression pedals are not as smooth as real ones, unless someone knows of a better one I should be using, please tell me! bottom line: If you like playing with guitar effects, buy this and an iRig Pro or Apogee Jam to go with it. Turns your phone into a pedal board that fits in your pocket. P.S. I have done a few live shows using just my iPhone running ToneStack and a midi foot pedal switch and plugging into the venues PA. Every time other guitarists onsite are blown away by the tone and effects I get out of a 40 dollar app. Truly this thing is incredible..Version: 3.3

Great Sound But It Is Not Stereo In/OutDon't fool yourself and think by messing with the ab splitter you'll get true stereo output. The effects are outstanding though. I haven't messed with the amp sims. Make this same app and have true stereo multi effects and I will pay twice as much. Btw I bought the entire kit and kaboodle and I am glad I did because I play guitar. But I also use synth apps and true stereo would be nice..Version: 1.2

Updated review - this app is the bestFirst off, I really do wish there was a user guide to help people understand how to go through and setup and save amps, how to tweak them while you're using them (how to get to the actual amp settings after setup), etc. That said, I've figured most of this out and this app blows away the others in terms of amp choices and sounds. Just incredible. I'm using almost exclusively what I think is a JCM 900 and EVH amp (both of which were additional purchases) and they are incredible. I think the California bear is a rectifier for Metallica as well, which i think sounds great as well. Really pleased..Version: 2.1

All you needs is your guitar and a proper interface.Your Guitar, an iPhone with ToneStack, a good set of earphones or an amp with an interface and you ha e a vast array of sounds at your fingertips. The effects offered highly outnumbers the effects from most music DAWs away. The days of lugging gear to a gig are over. Great job!.Version: 3.2

Sweet guitar tonesGreat app. Top quality amps and effects. The ABY effect is the icing on the cake. Would like to see a delay option on the ABY to make it easier to get the haas effect although it can be done by putting a short delay in one of the chains..Version: 1.2

It works with Audiobus...I had to search this app out after Bias and related apps stopped working with IOS 8. I prefer the sound to Bias, and it works beautifully as an inter-app plug in in Auria. A little pricey, but they've put the time in to make it work with the new IOS, and I record nearly every day-so...they earned my money by keeping up. I have found the Yonac apps to be very well made overall. Nice work folks!.Version: 1.3

On a very short top listThese guys only make great apps. Yonac is a member of my club of developers whose stuff I purchase without knowing what they do because I know they only put out great apps. The latest motherload is the way to go to get it all at a great price and not have regrets. Nothing worse than regrets. Have fun!.Version: 3.3

AcousticThis app has a great acoustic simulator.Version: 3.3

Good first effortSome good sounds. A couple of tweaks needed to give this 5 stars such as disabling the clicks between selecting pedals and making sure new additions go in the correct order. A cabinet doesn't go at the front of the chain for example..Version: 1.0

A must have app! This is an app that does just what it claims. A very useful practicing , and writing tool for all levels of Musicians! However the overall sound quality does leave something to be desired though, would love to see someone write an app that has true professional sound quality! Maybe it cannot be done.Version: 1.0

Very Impressed.I have tested Bias FX, Jum Up Pro , and this one is far better. Sound so much richer and each amp is so responsive. I'd say it is Holly Grall in Guitar Aps Sims..Version: 2.3

My favorite iOS guitar rigI tried several products like this, I find it easier to dial in my sound with ToneStack.Version: 3.3

Please AUv3 this.Please. AUv3 🙂🙂🙂.Version: 3.3

So good!I love this app, it sounds great with my Danelectro!.Version: 1.0

Great all purpose guitar appThe standard version comes with a solid array of gear to use. The extra gear is also reasonably priced. I do wish there was a try before you buy feature, but they often put gear packages on sale as a bonus..Version: 3.3

The BestI sell I rigs and other equipment. I have all the apps...Bias, stomp box, Amplitude and others..Tonestack is by far the best of all of them. Also, all this talk about pedals and analog amps, that is what we call "mystic voodoo guitar crap". I take my iPad, Irig, Tonestack, plug into my amp and I have hundreds of the best setups and tones out there. Wake up guitar boys, this is the way to go......Thanks and we look forward.....Version: 2.3

Something got fixed and now it’s awesomeEdit: after the update to iOS 11, everything is working and it is awesome. I use this now. Old post: I have to restore purchases every time I open it. Every. Single. Time. I use Jam Up Pro for this reason. Normally I love Yonac apps, but this problem has been here since the 2.0 update..Version: 3.3

I'm Blown Away!I own every app that Yonac has developed for iOS. They're very good with synthesizers. I just didn't think they would be able to do an amp modeler. I'm glad they proved me wrong. The ability to mix amplifiers is probably my favorite feature in this app. This gives me a more professional sounding studio sound. It's got everything from crystal clean Fender style sounds to over-the-top distortion like you find in today's metal. The effects don't just sound good, they also have mix controls so you can dial-in as much or as little as you like. I'm very impressed with this apps amplifier selection. They've got it all here. If you're looking to do some direct recording and you want the best sounds that you can get, I think this is what you're looking for. I need to add on major gripe. The noise gate is horrible. The high gain amps with drive pedals make a lot of noise and the noise gate just doesn't cut it at all. This is very important if you like intense gain saturation. This is a glaring flaw in my opinion but others may disagree. Good luck to you..Version: 1.3

It’s the best amp sim on any platformSo many tones; it’s so worth it..Version: 3.3

WOW Simply BrilliantWell coming from the Authors of "Galileo" the best Organ Synth for IPad I should have known this App would be awesome. The interface is refreshingly easy to use and the multitude of amps and effects is simply breathtaking. I have struggled for several months with the lack of updates on AMPKIT, a once excellent App but found reference to ToneStack in a negative AMPKIT review. Oh how I wish I'd heard about this App months ago. It works flawlessly as an IAA plugin on my new IPad Pro for which it has specifically been updated to support. It is such a relief to have an App of this quality that simply works. FANTASTIC..Version: 2.1
