✓ Can we turn this into a game please?Agree with all the "frustrated" reviews here. This game feels like a highly polished demo rather than a full game. Grindingly repetitive, virtually identical levels. The only real variation is the different guns, but really that's just different ways to easily kill the paltry 5 different alien types. It's a shame, the build is all there and really solid, it looks really nice and plays really well - but now they need to make an actual game with it. ✓ Good, but i have a problem...My iPad 3 crashes when I try to load Factory X stage 4. Every time. Hope you can fix that real soon. ✓ Honestly, what's the fuss aboutHonestly, I have no idea what the fuss is about this game. It is quite possibly the single most boring game I have played in my life. After the first hour you have already fought every type of enemy there is, but the game keeps dragging out more missions after more missions, same enemy after same enemy. It's great (not really) that the enemies change colour to add (not) variation to the game every few levels. Note sarcasm in parenthesises. Even the worst of freemiums offer more variety than this bore fest. I apologise for being so harsh to the developers but some one has to tell you how it is, even if that's me. Go back to the skill and revs you used to make space marshals. Use them to make a better alien shoot em up game than this... Or better yet change this into a proper game because as of now it's just a tech demo slog. ✓ Gets boring fastThis game has all the right ingredients. Amazing, smooth 3d graphics. Great explosions and repulsive mutants. But where this fame misses it is the it really goes nowhere. Despite upgrading weapons and hazmat suit a couple times and playing it for several weeks, I found that each level is about the same as the previous ones. Yes it gets harder. ✓ Slightly interestingI am often confused by the rave reviews of a lot of games - so its refreshing to read so many reviews that are the same as my own thoughts. This is one of the best looking ios games ever - and, when you're fully tooled up, ploughing through the green-gunk-splattering aliens is tactile and pleasing. Even the usage of the same modular chunks of room to create each and every level isn't as annoying as you feel it might. No - the problem is that this an amazing set of graphics and game mechanics in search of a game - anything to lift it above a mindless shooter. The development of weapons is great - but it doesnt take long to get the best and everything is easy after that - theres never any real sense of threat or disaster around the corner. It's a shame because with a bit of thought this could have been as good as Space Marshalls - a far far superor creation. ✓ Where to start?I really wanted to like this game but it’s such a mess so I’ll keep it brief. First and probably worst is the camera. The camera angle button is right above your movement button which means the only way to switch angles is to stop moving. Not good for a shoot ‘em up game. The levels all look EXACTLY the same. Had I known I’d be playing the same 10 levels again after after chapter 1 I definitely wouldn’t have paid any money for the rest of the game. The aliens are also all exactly the same and often hard to distinguish from the backgrounds and environments. No thought at all was put into character or level design. And how about the other modes? ✓ Boring and repetitive.First the good. Xenowerk is a very well crafted shooter with lots of unlocks and great controls. That’s about it. It’s like they laid the perfect groundwork for a perfect mobile top down shooter and then gave up. There are no missions, the levels are repetitive (you play the same level 25 times and then you go to a new stage which is almost identical to the previous ones) There’s just nothing that keeps me coming back to this game. I recently finished space marshals and JYDGE. Which were very similar except they were full, challenging, mission based games I hope xenowerk comes out with a sequel that uses their excellent game mechanics for an actual game.QuestttVersion: 1.3.8

✓ Animation good but lacks funAll this is to say that although the animation is good just running around and shooting mutants wasn’t what I gestated nine months in utero to waste my breathe doing. There’s not a lot of challenge here, nor excitement. Animation is cool and some of the character design catches my fancy. The main lil easy-to-kill mutant’s character design is my faves. Y’all could try this game out if you want. ✓ Mechanically spot-onAs the title says the game is mechanically the best twin stick shooter I've played on iOS. The controls, shooting, weight, impact and graphics are all top notch, unfortunately all of the above is let down by the complete lack of level design. EVERY level is set in the same facility using the same textures and assets, the only difference being the layout of the rooms. Granted the graphics are good, controls are good and this could have been a great game like Space Marshals which is one of my favourite iOS games. But it's just so dull. Every level is just the same. You wonder around shooting from a gun that never runs out of ammo. The missions are either kill a big creature and then find the elevator or interact with a computer then find the elevator or destroy a generator and them find the elevator. It's the same thing over and over again. Plus it's so easy. There is no real challenge. ✓ Good but could be greatFirst, the gameplay is pretty fun, though at times repetitive, it's fun to see how much you can destroy in a kill streak. It looked a bit like the Alien films and with a machine gun ripping through Xenomorphs left, right and centre what could go wrong? Well lots apparently. ✓ Good but needs workIt isn't a bad game but a pretty good game with issues. The floating camera is awkward at best. It tends to get stuck at odd angles all too often. The controls are really tough to try to get used to. Put the controls together with the camera and it becomes frustrating. The levels could be deeper, so are too short and pretty repetitive.
