✓ Good RPGGamers who like old pc based RPGs will like this. Previous RPGs played on a touch screen device are boring and repetitive and all tend to follow a similar theme. Guild of Heroes is different. The auto play during battle takes away much of the repetitive play and there is an interesting and immersive upgrade system. It is good that upgrades take a little time to complete which allows you some rest time away from the game. Clearly a lot of effort went into making this game which is reflected in the (so far) bug free play. Good graphics and game effects make this game a must..Version: 1.47.8

I play on two devices and spent real money almost every day. Not any longer. You will spend most of your time watching advertisements to get anywhere or get anything. Only diamonds are used as money and easy to use up fast, this is to get you to buy even more, Well thanks to all your advertising, I found a new game to play. I’ve closed my guild and only come on the game now for only a few minutes to collect my already bought diamonds and to say hello to friends. But, I’m done playing. ✓ Has great potentialHaving played two individual games I like it pretty well. The biggest downfall is the level up system is extremely complicated and time consuming. I've never seen a game where you level up via experience points, but also have to individually level up abilities/spells and level up equipment after acquiring them. The system for doing this is extremely time consuming unfortunately. The story line is pretty good though :-) and so is the guild system..Version: 1.62.13

✓ Great game, just a couple thingsThis is a really great game to play with fighting mobs, fighting with friends, fighting other players and etc. I only have a couple complaints about this game though. I like how you can friend other players but I wish you could also trade with other players. In the trading there should be a limit of the highest equipment you can get though so you don’t become op after trading with the top player. Another thing is that it is way to hard to get diamonds after awhile. To fix this, the game should either make easier quests involving diamonds, small daily opportunities involving diamonds, or when you achieve a quest that gives you diamonds, the amount of diamonds should increase( 5, 10, 15 etc). Well, I hope that the game will change this in the next update. I recommend this game to anyone looking for a casual RPG game and good luck to any newcomers or players!.Version: 1.88.8

I’ve downloaded so many mmorpg’s and after a day or two I get bored n stop playing them. I’ve been only playing for about a week now but every chance I get I’m trying to do something with my character! The only thing I wish was different is the character creation part as I can not customize my character it’s already preset to be a certain way but over all this game is so close to Diablo or wow in a way that I actually have fun playing and I don’t have to spend all day taping to fight as a single mom who loves to game this is perfect for my lifestyle!! ✓ Older game that’s coolThis game has been around for a while so it has a decent amount of content. I’m just not a fan of rpgs that make you constantly manage an inventory. Constantly selling loot to make room in the inventory for more loot that you think might be useful later on the game isn’t what I consider gameplay. As soon as I get an “inventory full” message and I have to grind or pay money to make more room, then I’m out. That’s just me. ✓ Fun Game, Frequently UpdatedThe developers add new content often, keeping the game interesting. The addition of pets was a great addition to the game. Some things require a guild of at least five players and it can be hard to find a good guild, but once you do find a guild of like-minded players it is a fun game. Be sure to participate in the special events for good skins and boosts. The classes aren’t equal, right now archers are strongest and warriors weakest, but this will probably change in a future update. The good news is that one hero can play all three classes just by changing your weapon (bow, sword, or staff). One thing I don’t like is that you can only update gear and abilities so far before the game forces you to upgrade something else. We should be able to build our hero the way we want to instead of having everyone upgrade the same way. Tip: don’t make all your mercs at once, make a few for guild wars, and then only make them for the daily quests or if you’re out of mercs..Version: 1.133.4

✓ Update is buggy, and makes progress impossibleSo after the last two weeks of near immortal status in raid boss levels (where I normally have to fight it out for my 3%), we have come full circle. After three deletes and reloads of the app, I still cannot get into a raid boss setting. It tells me to install the new update. 🤨 And to top it off, costs have skyrocketed: I’m at a point where all my equipment is maxed out or needs a star altar-upgrading to the next level. But those costs doubled?! And the fights are WAY harder. I’m wasting huge amounts of resources to stay alive, and most times failing at that. I understand the need to maybe slow the pace down as some players have become God-like, and thus kinda making high level advancement nearly impossible, but I’m low on the totem pole. ✓ Just had an automatic update of 370mb load now it crashesDon’t know what you just done with the last update that seemed like an automatic update as I didn’t have to go to the App Store to do this, I just clicked online to play and it started uploading. It got to the end and crashed , now it’s just stuck on an error and crashes everytime I try to play. Been playing this for years and had a break after an update lost my character and i had spent loads of money too. I’ve managed to get a pretty decent new character going and I really hope I don’t lose a second one!! Please fix this, I play daily and spend money a lot on my character. ✓ Great mobile RPG game!I am new to this game and usually do not write reviews. But I saw a 1-star review of an angry old-time player, who complained about a some recent update. Honestly, I don’t know why he put 1 star. I’ve been playing this game non-stop! It certainly is a 5-star game hands down. The game is very well thought through. I really like different things you can do in the game without being dependent on some limited energy. There are plenty of opportunities to grind for items, gems, etc. without a need to pay real money. At the same time there are options to purchase diamonds to speed up leveling and getting some perks, but it does not feel like you need to spend real money if you don’t want to. ✓ A real free to playThis game is sort of a Diablo lite, and everything I've been looking for. I won't go through the long list of mmo apps I've tried but I will list what it has that the many others don't.. 1. A real free to play. I've been playing about a week and only saw sale ads for packs twice. I've spent $22 but I really didn't need to, just really liked the game and wanted to boost. It's not necessary to keep up with spenders, the game is just as enjoyable with or without it. 2. Enough to keep you busy for hours if you want, but it's not necessary. There are a few daily quests but it's not like other games that you need to spend hours a day to keep up, you can put it down for days and pick it back up, no falling terribly behind so you may as well start a new account on a new sever like other games. 3. Very minimal glitches/crashes. I've been kicked out maybe 3 times in many, many hours of playing. And the only glitches is sometimes having to hit buttons twice to store or extract or whatever it is your doing. Really I'm so happy that this isn't another cash cow app that I don't mind in the least. 4. You don't need multiple characters to play the different classes. You just equip the weapon for the class you want and you're now that class, no redundancy of having to start from the beginning for each class. Awesome job developers!.Version: 1.47.8

As others say, it takes a whole lot of grinding to make progress without spending real money, but I’m ok with that. I have another problem that doesn’t seem to interest the developers. I’m spending a lot of money on my mobile data just to keep up with the updates you release every hour! Well, I may have exaggerated a bit there, but take a look at the version history and you’ll see for yourself. Every update takes about 0.5 gigabytes of my data (that I’ve spent real money on) and they may even fail to download or it may crash after installation. Dear guild of heroes developers, please think everything through before you release another update. ✓ Depth and playabilityGreat game, although the Diablo comparison is a bit of a stretch. I'd love to see the levels become more open and a "town portal"-like ability to go back to town with everything collected thus far. It would also be nice to see a bit more devastation from abilities just for the satisfaction- more baddies that die faster. Perhaps take a leaf out of Legacy of Discord and Diablo. Maybe I'm just not a high enough level though. The weapons and skill development are both good systems. PvP is not my thing but your system seems good and I love that it's such an optional part of the game! So if you add a more open world and more devastation this game would go from great to awesome IMO. Also, I wanted to suggest an attack button just for normal attacks as it's too easy to miss an enemy and move instead on my little phone screen. Perhaps the wizard could break down ability gems instead of the jeweller too. That would make for less of a queue issue. Thanks for a great game. ✓ Great dungeon looter!Honestly this game is amazing. If you want some kind of dungeon looter like Path of Exile (which is what I was looking for ) this is the best mobile fix you’ll get. Not too big a fan of the difficulty with clan recruiting given that you need members to access a little bit of the content but other than that it’s great. They do start to push a little harder as you progress to spend money which is a bother. Players that enjoy games should spend some money to support the devs but when it seems forced it gets less tempting. No other complaints. Story progression is great. ✓ SuggestionI think a description should be added to the goblins and bad guys and whatnot. It would make the game more interesting in my opinion and it would give us a description of the strengths and weaknesses. So on certain attacks, the could do more damage than others. And when we use attacks it’s either more harmful towards them or less harmful. It would give us a idea of what to use and what not to use when battling them. Especially on the boss battles. We could figure out what weaknesses and strengths they have so we will be prepared of what’s to come. This would benefit the knowledge of our foes in battle. You could maybe have another person that tells us about the foes will or have faced? This would improve the game by a lot. I have been an active player (and i have spent some real money on this game too, infact a fair amount, but thats my choice, the game dosent require pay to play, however you could die of old age trying to reach the end game if you dont spent a little bit of money on this game.) for about 12-16months now. I think the game needs more customisable functions and features where the customer (us, the players) can shape and create our characters differently from the same old. ✓ A simple yet thoroughly entertaining RPGAlthough it is not a “high quality mmorpg with 3D graphics and with over five classes to choose from!” as so many popular RPGs are theses days, it’s gripping storytelling and freedom of character design more than makes up for it. In fact, I was drawn to this game because of it’s simplicity. Without loads of extra “really cool so why not do it” features, this game is more grounded and runs smoother than most other RPG games. Unlike most games that have you download everything all at once, this game only downloads what it needs to be playable for your character’s level. And it asks you before downloading anything new. This is awesome, because as any gamer knows, the good games take up around 1-5 gigabytes to download the app itself, but end up being around 3-17 gigabytes of space once everything is downloaded and you start playing. But not anymore! This game has taken less than 2.5 gigabytes since I started playing it yesterday, and it’s running really smoothly! Although you can freely change your class, you can’t multi-class, which is a bummer. It’s easy to get lots of gear, but it’s REALLY EXPENSIVE to get more storage space to contain it all. The character creation is not complicated at all, but there are only four makeup styles. However it’s completely free to redesign your character at any point in the game, without worrying about stats changing and other complicated things. This game is the perfect choice for someone who wants a free to play classic D&D style RPG, but with more freedom and involvement then Warriors of Waterdeep. In conclusion, this game is amazing, but because I really love to multi-class, (and because I can’t play as a Rogue/Assassin) , it only gets four out of five stars..Version: 1.125.6

✓ OJT requiredOn the job training (OJT) is the only way to figure things out. However, some things aren't as intuitive particularly if one hasn't played a similar game. How does one hire/invite someone on a quest? How do you earn more diamonds? Etc . . . I'm sure as time goes on these questions, and many more, will be answered. I personally feel a guide book of how-to's, particularly for some of the basic concepts, should be available at a given website. Although I don't mind learning from the school of hard knocks, I do prefer to have a basic understanding before I sally forth. Overall, an excellent RPG with plenty of things to do to keep one's interest although frustrating at times due to my lack of how-to knowledge..Version: 1.47.8
✓ Great game but too much buyingI prefer a cheaper kind of game. One where you're not required to buy at least several times a day. I don't like that but other then that this is a rather splendid game. Lots of mayhem easy to slip between characters just pick up a different weapon. You want to be a wizard pick up a wand, a hero a sword or axe a archer a bow that's all. It's great you can switch between them keep your skills fresh. I like being a wizard, I've advanced my gear most for that but I'm keeping the other gear advanced to in case I change my mind..Version: 1.47.8

✓ Comparing GoH to Raid Shadow Legends.While Raid has better graphics, it requires growing, then sacrificing characters to further develop your ‘Primary’ characters. In GoH, you develop your one character and expand their abilities as you go. GoH allows changing the Sex, name, or type of character which Raid does not. Guild membership in GoH provides much better growth value vs the Clans in Raid. I feel the stepped increase of activity’s in Town in GoH allows for better learning of each new stage than Raid does. Both are good games, but I prefer GoH. My one negative concern is the inability of the game admin to remove various Chat abusers. While we can Block them, they simply change their name and return often in the same day. There is a ‘Report Abuse’ button, but if it allowed adding a short text statement as to the nature of the abuse, allowing admin to take action banning them that might help. - But probably all such games have this problem..Version: 1.155.2

✓ Loving itI’ve only been playing for a few hours but so far this game is flawless. Ok i have now been playing for a few month’s and i cant find anything bad to say about this game. Masterpiece. I’ve now been playing over a year and the devs are getting greedy, still the best game on a mobile device. Awesome I still love this game after 2 years. There is always something to do because you’re not dependent on energy units that need to recharge constantly. I now belong to a guild named Warmungers that is made up of thenicest people you could meet. Still 1 of 3 games that I always play. Brilliant. Just gets better and better..Version: 1.125.6
