✓ Banned for no reason!!!So I tried logging into the game today to get a screen saying I’m banned from the game for “altering my character with outside software.” I have never done this. In fact, I was paying to play because I liked the game enough. I spent a great deal of effort and time on this game only to be blocked. There was no proof shown to me, no evidence and no explanation other than the above. The devs were notoriously bad at replying to anyone who had in game issues. I don’t expect them to reinstate my account or even reply. BEWARE! THIS GAME IS A ROTAL RIPOFF SCAM AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED! IT SHOULD BE BANNED FROM THE APPLE STORE AND RHE DEVS SHOULD BE FORCED TO PAY BACK EVERYONE THEY BANNED WITHOUT PROOF OF CHEATING!!! I’m going to notify Apple about this company and what they’ve done. They deserve to be banned from operating..Version: 1.64.7
✓ Worst update ever !Crazyhorse. Been playing this game a year. Started out really good. Progressed up to level 125. But now developers release updates that they first let you pay for something and take it away. After you have paid in real money. No respons after complains. Filled with bugs, chrashes on all platforms. New updates dont fix it just minimise rewards and raise the difficult level to unplayable. Developers dont fix powerbalance in arena and regatta so it a little group with pets ten powerlevels above their playerlevel that rule the game. Avoid this game. ✓ New Update ruined the gameThe new Star Alter upgrade costs are way too much. 12,000 anvil points? With the allotted 2 slots? That's 6,000 points per slot at at least...only an up graded Item will give me that much...and I need the Star Alter for that. What gives?!?!? Plus the new Map out area is way too busy it's almost confusing. And if my items got upgraded by 5x ( damage and Armor) why am U dying in a matter of seconds on a normal dungeon boss with a hired friend....even the arena's are like this. Our characters are do jacked now. If I only have 53,000 HP and someone is doing 70,000 Crit damage that's ridiculous! That's with a good 25,000 armor... in either case, why am I dying in a matter of seconds? If your gonna raise our damage then raise our HP. It should have been left a lone. Which brings me to The different classes. Why are wizards and archers so much more powerful than Warriors? Even hiring them costs more than warriors? Why is that? I've also noticed a lot more and better Wizardry and archery items and abilities pop up more often compared to warrior items. It's like the class was designed to be inferior. ✓ Guild of heroesLet’s start of with how great this game is and the potential this game has its incredible, Ive recently started to play this game I would say it definitely has the key components needed in a game to keep a player going but there are a few bugs I’ve noticed witch is why I’m writing this review, for example when in a arena match and I try to back out of it the menus overlap and I can’t exit the match even when I want to surrender and this does happen with some other features as well as in dungeons,etc. I believe besides the events and what not we have going on I believe we should add a tier system or something so the advanced players still have more to grind for instead of just for power,arena,gear, I have to say my self this is a very well balanced game, where players don’t have to spend money but have to take time out of their day to grind but spending money purchasing buffs,abilities,etc is quite useful in that sense as well. Update- vip nerf made me feel like I was scammed of my hard earned money that I spent my self to get benefits for.Version: 1.81.4

✓ Good game but VIP status issues and very pay to playI’ve played this game for years and it is a lot of fun. I have sunk quite a bit of money into it too. My biggest issue is that you LOSE a level of your VIP status every 30 days if you don’t spend a ridiculous amount of diamonds to maintain it. I have put a lot of time into this game but I’m at the point where it is just not worth it. The game is just too expensive and the loss of VIP status is definitely very undesirable considering the majority of games you keep your VIP status permanently. ✓ Latest update has Ruined the gameI loved this game. Spent hours on it. Even spent cash on it. Diamonds are the in game currency, lets you get extra stuff out of chests, buy special chests that has better equipment in it. So you get better equipment from these chests. Problem is you can no longer upgrade some of the equipment you buy due to the developers in their wisdom deciding that you now need to be a certain power level to do this. And how do you increase your power level? Buy upgrading your equipment. So it’s a catch 22. Please give us back the game we love.Version: 1.63.7

✓ So messed upGame has been going for over 3 years now. Absolutely so messed up now. Power, stats, potions. Pets everything is completely messed up. They mean nothing anymore. ✓ Even a Great game needs some workThis is one of the best RPG games I have played on IOS, until now. It is a Diablo type RPG, with many side things to do. The control is smooth and the auto-play is convenient. The AI is pretty good although it can beat human. The best part is the api’s stability while many other games apps have crash issue. Things changed lately. The game became unstable and crashes upon data loading. Each of the good features need different downloads which take time and memory. Today, the game is totally unplayable. I do not know how long does it take for bring server back. Update: within 30 minutes of playing, 2 minute for loading followed by 1 minute playing. Crash! 3 minutes of loading followed by 15 seconds of playing. Crash! 3 minutes of loading and 5 seconds playing. 3 minutes of loading and crash. Having spent a few months playing and getting my Avatar to a reasonable level, I updated my software to find that my avatar had been downgraded. I believe this is not the first time this had happened, the game lost quite a few players last time and no doubt will lose more this time. ✓ Final effort to get bug fixesGame was great but now after spending months powering up, all of a sudden seem weaker then in the beginning , impossible to advance unfortunately after spending real cash to help power up it is useless, like they just stole your money. Too bad because it use to be epic. Also crashes way too often, I dont understand why they can't fix this. Every time they add a new feature , the crashes get more frequent, I can't play for more then 15-20 minuets without it crashing, and of course you lose the assets you just gained and the assets you used to attempt it. ✓ If you like pay-to-win games…I’ve played almost since release. While GoH is chock-full of exploiters (and PvP is mandatory if you want to advance or be in a guild), the PvE part is fun at the start (eventually it’s just boring grind of same dungeon over and over a million times). If you want the top gear, you’ll need to pay cash for it; and GoH was run by a Russian company, so paying them meant buying bombs to kill their neighbor Ukrainians, and I can’t support that (nor should anyone…it’s not 1939 anymore). Having said all this, if you don’t mind spending a lot of time watching ads, don’t mind always losing in mandatory PvP to experienced exploiters, don’t need great gear, aren’t worried about advancing and don’t want to be in a guild for the benefits, this game is not too bad..Version: 1.134.4

✓ Very disappointing support!!!I played this game for longer then year and everything was ok until bug in game stole me best item I had. I reported it and instead of getting me back my item they gave me some sh** item which is 5 times weaker. I spent real money to get it but they just don’t care. ✓ Recent update killed the game for meSo when I first started playing the game, I liked the progress one could make. Leveling was fairly consistent, was about to give a positive review, but then came an update that dropped my character’s power lvl. I wasn’t too happy about that. The change to stars also stuck my armor at 3 stars which made me weaker than my friend who also played when my set was supposed to be higher than his, but he had already upgraded it fully and I had just started. And I was stronger than him to start with. So he got 5 stars on his and I got only 3 with no option to upgrade further. I can overlook some minor bugs, but this is the third time I’ve been downgraded. Every update comes with a downgrade to my character power level and it’s really annoying to be beating up the monsters one day to turn around and get killed by them with one hit the next day. And now it takes forever to upgrade anything because every update also makes things cost more gold. I don’t have the time to spend all day in the game. ✓ Pretty cool but for all the crashing.To be clear, I’ve been playing this game for several months so I’ve seen it from beginning to end. It could have been pretty cool, with lots of level building and crafting. Lots of crafting! The pay to play ceiling is high enough to make you almost feel like you don’t actually have to pay to play. But don’t kid yourself, you WILL. The levels are beautiful, the graphics are beautiful, and the animations are beautiful. It ain’t no Balders Gate or Neverwinter nights, but in fairness, I’m sure the developers never set out to re-create those games. There’s really only about a dozen maps, each consisting of four areas which are made up of 3 or 4 screens. So it’s small. But the gameplay is fairly balanced and fun. Unfortunately, what kills this game is, the deeper you go, the more “crashey” it gets. Lots of crashing! Like every few minutes! To make matters worse, the special events are guaranteed to crash, and, can’t be played without paying. The developers are well aware of it, but there doesn’t seem to be any good solution to solve it. ✓ Please fix the bugsLove this game, but my biggest issue at the moment is the bug where it crashes at the end of finishing a campaign. I recently updated and the bugs are actually worse. It’ll still take my money and make me wait another 12 hours to hire the person I hired to help with the campaign, but it won’t give me any of the items or money I earn’t. Also I am now up to dark Forrest in campaign, after finishing the bridge a few days ago, I’ve been trying to get my power level up so I have a chance at the dark Forrest, but whenever I upgrade my power level, the dark Forrest difficulty also changes so it doesn’t matter what power level I am, it will be nearly impossible to complete..Version: 1.71.3
✓ Was good but now to buggyI’ve played this game for sometime now. I’m making this review one stars due to the fact the dev team refuses to help with problems they have caused. I’m a paying customer and after the past few updates I have had random items I was upgrading in the blacksmith vanish. These are items I have spent much time in attaining gold, more items to level them and originally gems were used to get the item. So after I spend REAL money to make sure I get the set part I want and all of a sudden it’s gone after I have been leveling it for over a week makes me want to NEVER spend another penny on this game and also delete it. ✓ This game is terrible nowThis game used to be good, but they have made massive changes recently that have killed it. Loot drops have been heavily nurffed, meaning endless rerunning of levels to build up one piece of gear, only to have to do it again for the other ten bits you have (and if something better drops you have to start the process again) allies now auto attack, meaning they often die before they reach the point on the map you HAVE to have them for to open the chests (which is why you have allies). People are starting to post on the FB page that their toons are being reset and purchases are not being delivered, the developers have stopped responding to in game mail and the FB page hasn’t been updated or had a new post since August 2018. The new pets system is pointless, they are only useful for upgrading themselves and are no good in normal battles, so what’s the point? The last seasonal event (Halloween) was a repeat of the event before it with a new skin, and no new event has been announced. They had introduced timers for dungeons but these have been removed due to player outcry, they were pointless and ruined the planning of dungeons as you had to rush or lose because you ran out of time, which was funny when nothing in the dungeon was even a slight challenge. It looks like this once fun game I played daily is on the way out. Don’t spend any real money on it, it won’t be around much longer..Version: 1.69.10

✓ Nerfing player power? Really?Ok, so this game is great, I have had a lot of fun playing it. Now though, the dodge bonus conferred by hurricane aura plummeted. I had mine upgraded to a +200 to dodge, after this update it dropped to +46! 46?! Really?! That makes the spell next to worthless, because it doesn’t increase your dodge chance by even 1% and it only occasionally deals damage, unlike before where it dealt damage every time interval. Also, the star alter NPC’s are immune to the initial damage of meteor, as they only take a tiny bit of fire damage on a spell that could deal 2K damage. Not to mention, the power of the flame haste spell was knocked back so far! It used to dramatically increase your speed, now though it is a barely noticeable increase. What is with these changes? Bugs? There was nothing about these things in the update description, soooo? And with my power reduced I can’t get the materials from the star alter to upgrade my equipment and spells, which was really hard to begin with. Until these bugs are worked out, I am a very dissatisfied player, especially since everything costs so much in real dollars. If these are permanent changes, I hope you reconsider the changes, because I really enjoyed the game as it was..Version: 1.61.1

✓ Haaaaattteee the new updateBeen playing for a few months and really enjoyed it. The new update made everything look super cluttered and confusing. Upgrading a weapon doing 2k damage costs a lot of gold and salvage but only gives another 150 damage. Damage, health, and other stats are way higher now but that doesn't mean anything because the monsters are stronger to match. So the huge numbers do nothing except make it a little harder to remember how powerful something is when comparing it to something else. Cost to upgrade a health potion is 1.5m gold. Reward for completing a level is ~22k so you have to play a level 68 times for one upgrade!!! Also character reacts slower/won't move for a moment, spells don't actually cast some times, speed boost on one spell is ridiculously fast now. They broke this game IMO.....Version: 1.48.5

He put so much time and probably a few bucks into this game. Then he randomly out of the blue, after the newest iOS update, got a message saying he was banned for having cheating software on his device. Take my word, that was not true. He messaged their customer service back and asked what he did specifically and they sent back a rude message saying to read their last message and they weren’t telling him anything else. Like, really? Tell the guy what he supposedly did so he can defend himself. I’m sure they could see how much time he had put into the game; why all of a sudden would he start cheating? And to just ban someone who played that long with no questions asked? My point is that they can ban you for no reason at any time. ✓ Good game, but developers are thieves.I have played this game for two years, and it has kept me entertained. I have spent an average of $15-20 each month to advance. Bottom line, it is hard to really succeed without paying. They update the game incredibly regularly and often these updates shift things so much that it is hard to get a handle on how to develop your character (what benefits you strongly for months, gets nerfed and is less useful... you have to shift play again). Developers added a VIP bonus a few months ago which really favored those that “spent diamonds” (=cash). People kept spending. Then, they took away the bonuses we legitimately paid for. It was completely fraudulent practice. Many long-term players are leaving the game. I want to warn others not to start unless you want to spend money only to have it stolen..Version: 1.81.4

✓ Lost Progress After Months Of PlayI played this game for thousands of hours, slowly upgrading and improving my character’s equipment and abilities. The game is a lot of fun and you would enjoy it if you are patient and enjoy grinding out progress. Unfortunately they pushed down a buggy release which caused one of my character’s abilities to completely disappear. I immediately contacted the support team and asked for it to be reinstated. They checked the logs and told me that they could not see it in there and that they would not restore it. Because if this debacle I lost about 4 weeks of progress. Further, they were unable to provide any reassurances that it would not happen again. I think it is very poor that they do not have measures in place to safeguard the huge amount of effort people have to put into the game. My advice is to find a different game to play. I have been doing the daily quest and completing until today when it said beet this one boss at expert level and I haven’t unlocked expert level yet. So I am playing the hard level, hoping to unlock expert level, won every battle at hard level like 3,4 times until it locks me out for a few hours, and I still haven’t unlocked expert level. Some of the mechanics have changed, which is fair enough however what isn't is the fact that in game resources have been removed from the inventory. This cost in game credits, you will now have to expend more credits (and potentially crystals, which cost real money) to get your resources back. They’ll say you’re cheating and ban you.....then they won’t reply to multiple queries in multiple places to resolve. ✓ Fun enough game when it works, but poor customer experience.Game is pretty good. Mostly plays itself, looks nice, but pvp match making is a joke, and events are poorly implemented. ✓ Could be good but bait and switch with poor customer serviceGreat concept of a game but they often do a bait and switch on in game purchases for programs and have horrible customer service. They offered a great VIP program at one time, made several purchases with said program, they then downgraded the program and you lost a lot of tier benefits you purchased and made it almost impossible to reach those same benefits without spending hundreds of dollars a month. Next, I had an in game item missing, contacted support with an over a week process, which they said I sold to the vendor. I can’t say for sure if that happened but I asked if they could return the item and deduct the gold I received for it. Nope, Nada, not going to happen, they said it goes against their policy. I have had other games do this in the past to restore an item for various circumstances. This company only cares about your money and not the customer. ✓ Bait and SwitchI have been a regular player for months, and until today I was a staunch supporter. You see, about a month ago they introduced a VIP program. A generous program, and I have no doubt that almost every regular player paid real money for diamonds (the in-game currency) and spent them briskly to gain the VIP rewards. Today the new update came out and the rewards program has been gutted. Let’s be clear, the original program was specified in writing without any out clauses. I saw it as a good faith contract. Bit Games has broken that contract. I think that a reinstatement of benefits or a substantial refund is due to me and possibly millions of other players. Failing this, please expect shady dealings from Bit games. The VIP program continues to be modified, always to remove benefits. Additionally they often modify the game play. They just gutted my character, the product of a endless hours of play and a few hundred dollars in hard cash. Instead of a hard-earned top toon, I have a hopeless and irredeemable ghost. But it matters not as the last two updates resulted in a game that loads on about one try in five and then crashes within minute. Further, Bit Games keeps adding ways to squeeze money from their players. This is a vile game company!.Version: 1.86.6
✓ Sexism is major drawbackI can’t really enjoy this game because of sexist outfits. Females wear bikinis, high heels and leather bras or thongs with a cloth flap to cover crotch. Yeah, that’s what I would wear into battle.....NOT! Males wear armor and only bare arms show. Even when a woman equips long pants or shirt, still shows her in thong/bikini/crotch flap with boobs hanging out. Very disappointing-I just can’t get past it so I’m deleting it. If they would just stop portraying females as scantily dressed bimbos-it would be an above average RPG! Also, don’t click on “watch a free ad to get 2x gold” as game freezes and you lose everything/must replay area and level again. I bet Devs will reply with usual “.....contact support”. ✓ Very disappointingThis game starts off fun and seemingly play as you want style game play but you then remember that this is a free to play game. You quickly hit a wall and are forced to either give up or to pay out of pocket ( a lot!). Pay to win is fine but this game is more or less pay to progress. So if your looking for a free game where you are not forced to pay out of pocket then keep looking. Me and my other half both really enjoyed this game and were playing very often. They recently did a major update to the game and it left a lot of play lost on what to do and also slowed down any progression outside of paying real money. ✓ Hack n slashThe animation is smooth, the graphics are pleasant. The game starts with a tutorial of sorts, however, I still managed to die during the tutorial, most probably because it’s one of those games that emphasises multiple attack methods and it involves an understanding of the type of attack and when its beneficial (which wasn’t explained). I’ll give this game a miss. I was looking for a strategy that wasn’t so focussed on timing of sword strikes and sword technique. That’s purely a personal preference only. ✓ Support won't fix latest exploit & swastikas in player namesThere is a weekly team event which has become necessary to stay afloat given constantly increasing requirements. In each fight there is a foe and their pet. Lately an exploit spread where the pet's level could be higher than the foe meant that starting a fight against that foe would almost always result in a loss, even if you were several levels higher than the foe. While they prevented this from occurring, there are many people still around with higher lvl pets and this causes a surprise in events and arena fights, again both places required for progression. I contacted support with a screenshot for one of these people with unpronounceable characters in their name and was told too bad. I also spotted a player with swastikas in their name and reported it. They erased my ticket without reply. There should not be any of this in any game, it is simple to prevent. This game had become a pay-for-play to progress, at least $60 per month, with these issues and poor responses it's time to find something else..Version: 1.77.7
✓ Getting GreedyI really liked this game to the point of even spending some money. However recently you came out with a VIP program. I didn’t mind spending money for it either, until the greed kicked in and you literally stole the reward I spent money on. I had 7, unlimited time, for upgrades and you changed it to a one hour time reduction. And now to further show your greediness, you changed the free gold for ad watching from 5 per 15 hour, to1 per 6 hour. It takes me to the App Store where the action button reads "open" as opposed to "download". ✓ Great except for 2 major flaws...Really would be a great game, except 2 major problems that make it really unenjoyable/unplayable... 1) you can choose between 3 classes, but if you want to do pvp/arena, archers are so overpowered its ridiculous. Like 90% of the high rated players are archers. ✓ A tragic downward spiralBit more of a rant than a review, but anyway... I really wish I had listened to the reviews before starting this up in mid-February, I just thought to myself, “How bad can the situation be?”. Well as straightforward as the core gameplay was, I liked the look and feel of it so I kept going despite the initial signs of waiting/grinding, but it only got more glaring and frustrating as it went on. I then put the game down after unlocking the mountains, went back about 2 weeks later, got to the second area of the mountains, and quit again, and I don’t see myself returning in this state. It isn’t a bad game at its core, just brought down by its ever-increasing monetization. The borderline copy-pasted developer responses to other reviews and lack of telling players of power nerfs in patch notes are the cherries on top. ✓ Hackers galoreBeen playing this game for a while now and it’s a reasonably fun time waster, but PvP is so full of obviously hacked characters that it’s really no fun. However,following the latest update the whole gaming experience has become tedious,I agree with a number of other players who have said “Updates are Downgrades”. ✓ Fun but too buggyNormally I would give this game 5 stars. It really is fun and they’ve done a great job balancing the various aspects of the game. However, the last major release introduced a huge number of bugs to where my iPhone 6+ crashes about every third or fourth event/round. The last two minor updates have targeted fixing bugs that crash the game but I have not seen any significant improvement. Often times, the game will crash after a dungeon has been completed and reward received. Upon restarting the game, the dungeon still shows as completed but the reward is gone. Other times items or skills randomly duplicate themselves (which is kind of nice but really strange). ✓ Game's dead thanks to new updateAnyone wishing to play a game where you can progress through determination and hard work, unfortunately this game is not for you. The newest update fully restricts you from upgrading your equipment. Any gear I recently got is apparently too powerful and I can't upgrade it, but stuff I had months ago which is getting old and needing replacing is apparently still too powerful. I need to go from power level 54-59 to upgrade something I had months ago. It would take me months and months to get to power lvl 59 at my current progress, but now it wants me to do it without upgrading 70% of my armour. Absolute joke of an update..Version: 1.63.7
✓ Little understanding when you submit ticketsI gave up on this and deleted it from my tablet, I had a couple of issues for which I submitted tickets. They didn’t seem to understand my issues and asked for clarification or screen dumps, which are a bit difficult when you are past that area. Or I got the soft soap story that it was out of their control, I don’t believe it was and wasn’t going to get into long winded back and forth discussions about it.
