No Problems Thus Far.I’m on an iPhone 7 and I haven’t had any problems. Hopefully it’ll stay that way. Thanks, devs. P.s. Be specific, Aziz..Version: 2.5.12

Great addition to baldursgate sagaOk, the writing have some problems but most important the gameplay is great ! and minsc and his spacemaster us back!.Version: 2.5.17

Chapter 8 Activating menhirs bugPlease fix this bug as I couldn’t activate the sixth menhir to complete a quest just like the one on PC.Version: 2.5.17

The PenultimateThis stellar title is another masterpiece from the creators of the Baldur’s Gate series. Meaning: epic storyline, atmospheric/immersive environments, great characters, in-depth character development and STATS that follow the D&D rules. Not for the faint of (skill tree)heart, impatient or button smashers..Version: 2.5.12

A fun interstitialI really enjoyed SoD and imo Mk’hiin alone would make it worth playing..Version: 2.5.17

SOOO good!I absolutely loved playing this game. As a novice rpg player this game, as well as the others available in the Infinity Collection, have turned me on to rpg and I haven’t looked back. The characters, story line and side quests are all so entertaining and interesting. I LOVE that there are different levels of difficulty to chose from; I like to focus on the storyline a bit more than combat and this allows me to do that perfectly. My only issue is that I’ve played all of the Overhaul games available on iOs and I’m “patiently” looking forward to more from this developer! They definitely have a loyal fan in me..Version: 2.5.17

Ignore the previous reviewApparently that above reviewer never actually played Baldur’s Gate. This is an amazing and lovingly restored and reconstructed chapter between BG1 and Shadows of Amn, the story is full of a lot of foreshadowing for the next game, without any spoilers, the item management and navigation is well executed for touch displays and much better than the original or even the computer enhanced edition with the one exception of item description which is a long press, something that can take a second to master, but not that long. Like any real rpg the game is what you decide it will be. So no, you don’t have to fight the big bad villain, yes you might not save a particular character, and the characters you interact with, or not, are up to you. That being said, he new and returning character were perfectly rendered with what sounds like original voices! The banter and jokes are perfect and the new characters, especially Glint, are some of the best of the entire series. This is an extension to BG1 (the chapter numbers even continue), this is an interlude before the BG2, this is not an expansive involved epic. Right there in the description it says 25 hours, I sunk at least 100 into BG2. However siege of Dragonspear is EXCELLENT. Any Bioware fan will love it, and any BG fan must play it!.Version: 2.5.17

Amazing gameEven better artwork and the added characters are so much fun to play. I love that the world of Baldur's Gate is still alive and growing with this game..Version: 2.5.17

Worth the waitI have been waiting since this was announced for the tablet version and it has been more than worth the wait. Now you can play the series in its entirety across multiple platforms and devices. It is easy to send saves between PC’s and iOS devices as well as custom portraits for players. That is as much of a mod as I could manage on my iPad and iPhone X. The AI updates make this more of a challenge especially with the larger battles but you can still adjust the difficulty if you need a little help. The import is the only thing that needs better instructions or a link to the forums to explain things in depth..Version: 2.5.12

It’s here! Finally!!!! It’s on the iOS store!!! I’ve been eagerly awaiting this game since its announcement back in 2015, and it’s initial release in 2016. I don’t know if the silly complainers back then and the ‘controversy’ delayed this release on iOS, and if so that’s really unfortunate - SHAME ON THEM.. I have the GOG version as well, but my current campaigns I had played out in the first game were on my iOS device, and now my 2 fully leveled BhaalSpawn characters - Dragon Disciple J’allan UlDragos and Paladin Jaana Flamehair can FINALLY continue past the first adventure!!!! HUZZAH!!!! 🍺🤘🏻 Thanks BEAMDOG!!! Keep up the excellent work!!!.Version: 2.5.13

Excellent!I imported my character easily from BGEE and really enjoy the game. Played BG2EE, IWDEE, and P:TEE, all on IPad, and this is more of the same goodness. New characters are great, old characters are fun to reminisce with. The port works perfectly and has the same control scheme on iOS as the other games. Great job by developer to port this over and I really hope they do the same for NWN when it is ready. Thanks for your efforts!.Version: 2.5.12

I Hope They Keep Making These Types of GamesI’m so glad they revived this series in the infinity engine for iOS. These games are just such a pleasure to play, and while SoD lacks some of the explorative freedom and discovery of the earlier games, it still has great characters and all the little subplots that made the originals a blast to play through. I’d love it if they started another series, with new npcs and stories, regions to explore, etc. And maybe premade player characters similar to Divinity 2 or something like that. The story just seems more compelling when the character has a background rooted in the setting. And some kind of game editor. I’d buy all of it. I wouldn’t even wait for a sale. Anyway, try it out. It’s a great game, especially compared to most other rpgs on iOS. I mean, they got freaking David Warner to reprise his role from the earlier games. That dudes a legit Shakespearean actor. And there’s no coins or gems to buy to level up. You just play through the story like a normal human being, meet people and have adventures. Try it out..Version: 2.5.17

New memories for an Old ClassicHaving been a fan of the Baldur’s Gate series for decades I had always been intrigued with having portable versions. When the EE’s released I was amazed at how well they worked on a phone and while I double dipped and still play them on my laptop it was amazing to play the full trilogy on a train (if it’s a Glaswegian train you are waiting for you might even beat the Trilogy in one sitting). By far one of the most interesting things aspects of the EE’s was the new content such as Black Pits. I’ve been playing BG so much that having these snapshots of new Infinity Engine content was really refreshing and I loved BG1 and BG2 Black Pits as the first proper original Infinity Engine campaigns for years. Siege of Dragonspear is the culmination of all the tips and tricks the developers have learned over the years and exactly what I wanted. It is unique enough that it doesn’t follow the exact same format, the writing/voice acting is great and totally in character and the campaign is intriguing, it’s a bit of a side story and feels it but there’s a good amount of depth here for me to rate it on par with Tales of the Swords Coast, the first expansion for Baldur’s Gate that introduced the amazing Durlags Tower dungeon and is subsequently quite a high bar soley for that. That said I can say without a doubt that Dragonspear is a lot more ambitious and does some really interesting tricks with the Infinity Engine and huge battles with make this entry unique in the series. Dragonspear has solidified itself as part of the BG Trilogy as someone enamoured with the series since childhood this slots right in without making me squint and go ‘eh?’. Obviously a product of lots of care and affection I can only hope there might be more on the horizon. For the meantime, back to Candlekeep to prepare for a stop off at Dragonspear Castle before facing destiny!.Version: 2.5.13

I wish it worked on the same iOS as the restThe other infinity games from beamdog work on iOS 8 or later. Whereas SoD requires 11 or later. So I'm stuck using my iPhone instead of iPad since my iPad maxes at iOS 10.3. Which is a killer..Version: 2.5.17

Darn good addition to the seriesI am pretty impressed by this “midquel” that bridges the gap between the classic Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate II. So far everything has been smooth and the engine seems to be a real improvement. I’ve played for a month, including the beta, and have yet to find a problem that wasn’t my own doing. The only issue I’ve had was that I didn’t know that exporting a game from BGEE requires doing a long tap on the ‘quicksave’ icon. If I’d read the documentation I’d have known this, but that would have meant losing all my programmer certifications. The plot is a bit linear, but given that it bridges BG1 and BG2, that’s no surprise..Version: 2.5.12

Another great title added to the collectionI own all these games on PC and have enjoyed them. Looking forward to your adding more titles. Icewind Dale 2 is one I’m hoping makes the cut :).Version: 2.5.12

Will update when they fix character import - updatedGood developer support and a great, classic RPG style game - thanks for response and prompt fix. [Character import is broken. I export from BGEE, go to party creation, import, and you can’t do anything further. You literally cannot form a party of imported characters. So, I have no idea if the rest of the game is good or not, as I’m not starting over from scratch when I have huge time invested already in my BG character. Please fix....].Version: 2.5.13

FINALLY!!!I have been anxiously awaiting this game on iOS. I have been checking the App Store for months for its release, and then they snuck it in when I wasn’t looking. :) Thank you, Beamdog and Overhaul for this amazing game..Version: 2.5.13

So far so goodPart way though and not too bad but have come across a bug on one map that’s isn’t allowing me to save..Version: 2.5.13

Saves now workI’m happy that saves are working. Excited to give this game shot!.Version: 2.5.13

Brilliant bridge between BG1 & 2I first played Baldur’s Gate when I was a kid and I’ve always wondered what happened between the events of the first and second game, how did you end up in the situation at the start of Baldur’s Gate 2? Who is the mysterious figure that imprisoned you and why? Thanks to Beamdog I finally have the answers! If you are a fan of the original Baldur’s Gate games then I highly recommend this game, as well as explaining what happens between the games it is a great game in its own right with new and interesting characters and locations and a compelling story..Version: 2.5.17

Great gameJust spent three weeks flying continental and this was a excellent companion: played on iPad II and could not fault in anyway the upgrading system is almost perfect making each challenge and fights on the difficult limit without making feel impossible, well done wish more games would be released where pay ten pound and get so many hours of entertainment.Version: 2.5.13

Thank youI’m happy I get to experience the baldurs gate triliogy- this was a nice edition. Hoping for Iceland dale 2.Version: 2.5.13

Thankyou DevsWaited years for this. So far it runs great on my tablet, and just to see, will try it out on my iPhone 7 +. Appreciate your work to bring this here..Version: 2.5.12

PhenomenalThese games have helped me recover my childhood. They live on my phone and are a constant source of adventure. Thank you Beamdog, cheer to future endeavours!.Version: 2.5.13

Excellent addition to the BG legacyAs a 20 year player of the BG series I was very happy with this addition. Beamdog have done an excellent job of keeping to the spirit of BG while bringing updates to mechanics, enemy types, and storytelling. Lots of returning cast from the series. It feels like a game BioWare would have made in today’s gaming world. A ton of content for the price that does a good job of tying BG1 and BG2 together. Highly recommend this expansion..Version: 2.5.17

A great addition to the classic D&D universe!Absolutely love this game! You guys make owning a iPad fun! Don’t feel like I need any other gaming platform. Keep up the good work, Beamdog!.Version: 2.5.13

Awesome GameThis is an awesome game . true RPG at its finest . Agood port from the pc games . Keep up the great work and hope you can bring Neverwinter Nights , Icewind Dale 2 . as well ..Version: 2.5.13
