(just needs an M1 port…).If you’re confused: This is a demo version of the full game with the added feature of purchasing specific elements of the full game, if you’d prefer (for a couple of quid each). I’m playing this on an iPhone SE (2nd Gen) paired (seamlessly, I might add) with the Xbox Wireless Controller (2020). These five star reviews aren’t kidding: this is the best racing game for iOS. Just try it. You won’t be able to go back. There’s a point in a great racing game where you forget you’re playing a game and you become immersed in the racing. So many other games on the App Store constantly remind you that you’re playing a game with their tepid performance, rough controls or basic graphics. This is mindblowingly good. I felt like I was playing a last-gen console game. That feeling is priceless and well worth playing for. I just really hope there will be a native M1 Mac port of this because it is well on the way to being THE definitive racer for Apple users. If I could play this across my iPhone and Mac, (without shelling out for the privilege) Grid AS would cement itself as the best game I’ve ever found on the App Store, hell on the whole Apple platform! ✓ Great GamePeople who are complaining that it’s not a free game are really missing the point. If you have purchased the full game then it is free. Unlike Real Racing 3 which is the biggest ripoff going, you have to pay to win, and the graphics and gameplay is far inferior to Grid Autosport. I have been playing Grid Autosport for quite some time not and it is hands down the best racing simulation going..Version: 1.9.1

✓ Hands down best racing game on mobile / iPadMost realistic racing on mobile and yes people complain about its boring lack of car choices and visual modifications, well that’s all cool and whatnot, but not realistic. It’s no NFS this is realistic down to handling and tuning in the slightest bit shows a change. Play with damage on full, get sideswiped and the vehicle pulls to the left or right constantly, rear ending or damage from spin outs is heard under the hood and you can have trouble shifting and even be so beat up that I’ve been sparks flying top speed 17mph haha, damage to your exhaust pipe changes tone, you get it. I recommend using the arrows to make turns, and use the pedal accelerator to begin with the game. As a seasoned rally racer and sprint racing in my life I must say that I am very impressed by the details of car handling and behavior. Bravo. Now I’m itching for licensing from Porsche haha and yea an update on car / offer broadened would be superb but, no problem whatsoever with this version. Some app crash here and there but it happens folks. Well done here and look forward to seeing the future updates and what is in store for the future..Version: 1.9.3
✓ Appreciated this versionFirstly people putting 1 star reviews because it was meant to be “Free” and then find out they have to pay for the game and then moan about it are the same sort of people that still moan about a 90% discount being to expensive still. They are what I call a cheapskate and want everything for free, I cannot stand those sort of people and I’ve met a few including my own cousin! Anyway rant over, I actually didn’t get on with this game. Only giving it a 5 stars because they saved me money from the main game, imagine paying and not getting on with it. ✓ Perfection! From a long-time sim racerWhile I am typing this from my iPad currently, I've been playing GRID: Autosport from my iPhone XS Max paired with a Kishi handheld controller. What an incredible experience on mobile! So glad we have the Custom Edition now, I've seen the ordinary paid-for game in the store & my scrooge-self never considered buying to try when I wasn't completely sure, but to have a demo out-the-gate in this version was really welcome! Absolutely adore the graphics & physics with all assists off in the open-wheel series and I'm excited for all the GT-series racing :D Hope this project continues in the future! The use of 3D Touch for accel and braking is pure genius. So intuitive. The “feel” of handling is great. I know when I’m near the edge of traction. Admittedly I had to tinker with the control settings to find what suits and how he only played open wheel so far… but the depth of options means it’ll work for everyone. And the bots are not too shabby. Like the fact they make the odd mistake you can take advantage of. I don’t normally write reviews but had to for this. I don’t normally spend money on games but after playing the demo I went for the full package… and am not disappointed! Am looking forward to progressing my career, skills, unlocking more tracks, faster cars, different disciplines, and hopefully some online pvp action.
