✓ Needs workThe idea of the game is good but slow response with the controls, dashing out of the way of attacks with autolock on doesn’t work and end up getting hit, the fact that I purchased a special bundle which was a one time item and have not received it yet, and the fact that the normal boss and hard boss are the wrong way round is ridiculous! Developers should have taken a few more weeks before release to make sure everything was working. It’s a shame because this was a game I was really looking forward to but it needs a lot of work. The battle pass is terrible - holds you to ransom. Buy it, achieve all levels, but still can’t access everything. Even today on the 10th December when you should be able to get the whole pass, still not able to. Only reason I play it is because SAO is my top anime. ✓ Fun but lackingNot enough to do in the game. Finished the quest on easy and hard. The story is 1 chapter currently. Not enough summon in the game either. Also the movement doesn’t feel smooth. I feel like I press a button to do something and takes a couple second to go through. Little disappointed thought would be more. Not many Monster to fight think maybe 5 different types at the most. I think this needed a longer development time feel not even half baked but just unfinished in a lot of areas. ✓ Crashes frequently 😥The game so far is so fun to play. The battle mechanics are simple yet great and the overall game mechanics are easy enough to understand. However, after about 10 minutes of playtime or gacha pull my game crashes 😰 I have a lot of storage space on my phone and my internet is relatively good so those aren’t the cause of the crashes. ✓ Difficulty is Horrendous and Game is Extremely BuggyI know this game is fresh and doesn’t have the experience needed to be great… but that should not be an excuse for the difficulty level of the enemies as well as the gameplay aspects. Enemy AIs have no problem with pushing through staggering attacks while it takes us 10 seconds to recover from one of their attacks. In addition, the sensitivity is absolutely unacceptable as it constantly lags or is caught by the enemy attacks. Why do boss enemies get to spam their attacks while we struggle to land even one of our own? Also, a full limit broken type advantage character gets killed in one shot by a same level event boss… that just doesn’t make sense even with max stats and abilities equipped to the type advantage character..Version: 1.0.14

✓ SAOVS ReviewThis is really disappointing to write because I was looking forward to this game. It runs so poorly that I’m pretty sure they just don’t know how to optimize. The fps is awful even on low resolution settings. The controls are terrible and there just isn’t any flow to the game. Expected quality development but it is poor work at best. ✓ The gacha is riggedAfter around $300 I got the same ssr character silica 3 times which is featured on the standard banner with the drop of 0.333% which asuna and krito at 0.5% with the percentage up rate banner did not even show. Are you kidding me. Everything else was skill ssr and not even characters. Definitely ruined my gacha experience. I’m not looking to spend hundreds more to get these characters. ✓ Bad controls + needs optimizationAs themtitle says. Hr controls are clunky. It’s difficult to predict what enemy attack and parry on time because during attack phase you are stuck on thr attack animation until it’s over THEN it will evade which is too late. They need to make the controls more responsive. The other thing is the lag. I can run other high end games but not this one. It’s so laggy and buggy that it cause crashes often..Version: 1.0.13

✓ Please AVOID! this gameI am an extreme sao fan, i indulge in all their content, please trust me when i say do not invest in their mobile games. SAOVS is the worst one yet, though the character art is beautiful the game runs absolutely horribly, and it will only get worse overtime as their past games did. Most phones can’t even run the game on the lowest graphics, the game looks horrible and is poorly rendered, and for a game that is as massive as this and requires high quality devices, they don’t allow it to run on emulators like bluestacks.. they’re own loss by cutting down their audience, another epic fail from bandai.Version: 1.1.3
✓ Last review add-onLet’s also add to the fact that I cleared my cache, and the game was still stuck on the notification screen which I couldn’t close at all, even closing and re-opening the app did nothing. So if this continues, I WILL demand a compensation for all the problems it has. Now besides these problems, drop rates for characters are a lie, it’s rigged to not give you the good event characters having done 5 draws and only gotten SSR skills, but only the tutorial SSR’s, and my pre-registration Asuna bonus, and that’s it. ✓ Money Hungry and BrokenI’m a huge SAO fan but this game is a disaster, there is no pity system for summons, the rates are abysmal (of course) and if you want a character to actually be usable it’s practically impossible without paying 500 dollars or more. Rate up is 0.5% so good luck without a pity, if you want to actually make an SSR 5 star it could actually cost thousands of dollars… There’s LOTS of bugs in the game too, such as menus not loading, the first major boss fight in the game being down right near impossible because they teleport across the map and activate unskippable cutscenes for an attack that will send you flying. You will most likely get stalled out of time for the boss and its completely unfair. Another side note, enemies just LOVE to run across to the other side of the map from you and its incredibly annoying and frustrating..Version: 1.0.16
✓ SAOV Battle Reptitive GameI’ve noticed a little changed in battle they become more difficult when they’re too high level. And reptitive spamming attack with same moves pattern. Nothing news. I got tired of playing Kirito clashing the many enemies to caught up everything and quickly level up. Terrible main story and have some episode it reach to the episode 5, no more further story. It’s pretty boring. I spent few moneys on Gacha and give me same SR cards I didn’t get special SSR cards. I’m disappointed. I feel like I’m been fooled into buying Gacha try get SSR cards. ✓ I’m reviewing as 1 star so you can see this. I need help.I’ve had this game installed for several months. Not one day has it worked. Sure, the game may start, but once I’m on the opening screen, it gives me info about the privacy policy, something about things possibly changing in-game, and a puzzle captcha, I guess. Once that’s done, I have the option to tap the screen to continue. However, it doesn’t continue. I find myself tapping a second and third time, wondering about what could’ve happened. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I’ve seen the reviews for this game and I genuinely want to play this. I just wish it would work. ✓ Atrociously slowThe models and animation look nice, but the load screens are frequent and long. Some menus take forever to load, others, such as the character enhance screen, often don’t even load and instead say that there’s “no characters to display”. ✓ Exp and parry mechanic are both badAfter level 30 ur character requires wayyyy too much xp to level up. For as rare as large xp is, a handful of them won’t boost even a level of ur in the 50s. Also in this event I have strong characters but this parry mechanic is horrible. The speed isn’t a problem but the reaction time is so very very very off. It’s to the point where I am now using 3 fingers on the screen and spamming in hopes the game will pick up my tapping. But it usually doesn’t and ruins my event run and I have to start all over. Again. The timing is cool. But not cool when it doesn’t work when I am literally spamming it with so much time to spare. Should I lower my resolution to make this mechanic more functional? ✓ 3D SAO:MD but boring.(Release) The game is just a 3D version of SAO:MD but I have played the game for less than 9 hours and finished everything, this game will need a lot of events for you to keep come back. The dodging is really laggy if you are using an older device even on the lowest graphic setting. When you get hit you are stun locked and you can’t move, you can only switch characters to take the damage and once you tap a skill you lock in to using the skill, you can’t dodge to avoid attacks if you tap the skill at the wrong time. The gacha is only 2% for character and 2% for ability with no step-up and no pitty system. It has the same boring events that have been in every SAO mobile game, still not a lot of creativity with game events. But Silica is still cute..Version: 1.0.13

Dodging is sporadic, sometimes it feels like character isnt responding due to poor post attack animations (standing still, but cant input commands) Dodging also feels inconsistent for direction control, im holding forwards but it keeps dashing back Most annoying then is auto enemy lock and camera lock. Both without any control in settings to turn on/off. Consistently locks onto the worst target. Very slow to retarget. I have to run away until all enemies are on screen. Would be much less of an issue if the camera didnt auto lock or we were able to zoom out (to select what target we want to lock on).Version: 1.0.10

✓ Feels like a sloppy portFirst off, the fighting mechanics are really sloppy/lazy. Dodging feels awful and poorly timed. The game puts too much emphasis on switching teammates to string higher dmg combos. Overall this game feels like a cheap port from console onto mobile. Oftentimes the game lags. The character models also look a bit wonky, especially in the face. And too many different units share identical character models, which is a known issue across SAO mobile games so don't be surprised if you encounter other problems in this game that were the same from their other games like SAOARS, SAOMD, SAOIF, etc. Bandai Scamco is a known lazy company that just replicates its character models and digital assets across many of their games. Hence nothing is truly new or exciting about this SAOVS game. It just feels like a lazy cashgrab. The story isn't even exciting, and feels lackluster overall. I recommend skipping this game, or if you're a dedicated fan of the franchise then try it out but don't expect to be wow'ed..Version: 1.0.16

Those "danger" levels really annoy players because one need to combat with a horde of enemies yet the "lock on enemy" mechanics performs the worst. I didn't know how the game decides the next target, even if I press the screen near the edge to switch target I usually get the wrong target. ✓ Decent game but needs workThis game is honestly great and the gaccha doesn’t seem to bad. The rates aren’t to bad and the animations are cool. However, the combat feels unfinished and lacking and at some points the fluidity between dodging and attacking just feels bad. You can attack twice and dodge, any more and you are locked in. Once you are locked in the enemies can just barrage you while you have no recovery options. The next big thing is the targeting system. It is pretty painful to try and switch targets to a priority especially when their are multiple enemies around you. I think if this game changed some of its combat aspects it would honestly be a great game and probably the best sao game out there..Version: 1.0.14

Loading times are very long; characters either won’t load, or load twice when I go to the character enhancement section; and battle feels very clunky. The camera can be disorienting and it’s very difficult to change your target. Sadly it feels like a step backwards from the fluid combat of Memory Defrag.
