✓ InterfaceCries for update, the whole interface on iphone 6/s plus feels dreadful. Had no issues with it on iphone 5 and loved it as it did everything i needed it to, whist looking good, not the case with the newer iphones..Version: 1.1.7

✓ Too much latency...skips like 45RPM vinyl...I liked the customizable EQ settings (when it worked) but it crashed after iOS8 update and lost all my EQ settings that I worked so hard to establish. IN ADDITION, it's a DISGRACE to the Denon name and Apple should remove it from the app store: 1) Too much latency between tracks when using the FWD or REV buttons. 2) Skips like a 45RPM vinyl record when running it along with Facebook... 3) When using 'add all' command, it loads the songs in alphabetical order rather than how they appear on the CD/digital download...(personal preference) 4) The share on Facebook feature doesn't work... I have to use the share on Twitter option instead... 5) Sometimes crashes and randomly forgets that I purchased the upgrade or turns the EQ switch off....Version: 1.1.7

✓ VERY angry loyal user!!!Just like others are experiencing, I too am having the restore Equalizer issue. There is nothing that makes me more angry than my plane taking off and I have to purchase in flight wifi for TEN DOLLARS every time I pick up my iPhone and open this app just to use the equalizer that I've already paid for!!!! I would DEFINITELY steer clear of this application until this is resolved. There are other applications that use the near exact 1,000 band (near infinite point EQ engine that this application uses) - and believe me.. Using Sennheiser Momentums and Polk Ultra Focus 8000 headphones, this is by FAR the best equalizer applet I've found. I'm an avid traveler (4-6 flights per week) and always looking for a better sounding application. To top things off there's NO direct support to speak to anyone about this issue. Tapping the website support link in the application takes you to Denon's website knowledge base that has nearly any information on the iOS application. ✓ Usually A Good App, Frustrating Problems LatelyOverall a great application usually, but I'm now unable to restore my purchased EQ when re-downloading the app to a new iPod, upon my old one breaking. ✓ It’s not freeYou have to pay to get the EQ - which is the only point of the app. I don’t mind in-app purchases when they enhance the app, and I don’t mind paying for apps that are good. I don’t like apps which appear to be free but in fact aren’t at all. Give me access to the EQ for a few days to see if it’s any good. If it is I’ll buy it, if not I won’t. ✓ Some nice featuresNice queue creator. Add a track to play next or add to the end of your current queue lets you create a playlist on the go. Eq is a premium option, and fairly good too. The ui is a bit chunky, i dont like the style of the play/fwd/back buttons. The addition of artist images (not just album covers) makes browsing by artist more visual. I wish denon took a leaf from track 5 player when it comes to browsing music by letter. You'd have to look at track 5 player to know what i mean..Version: 1.1.0
✓ Good but can be improvedThere doesn't appear to be a search function which is disappointing. I also found it a little more difficult using the in built radio than the tunein individual app itself. I'd like to see Shoutcast and digital radio (DI) added for more radio stations as they both have stations not on tunein. The small 3 dots in the EQ tab are very small, rather ridiculous. The EQ is good but needs improved compared to others out there. It's not bad but I feel the interface for EQ and radio needs improved..Version: 1.0.7
✓ DOES NOT WORK WITH ITUNES MATCHUnfortunately this app does not seem to work with iTunes Match, this is a deal breaker for me and that's sad, manyother apps have seamless integration with itunes match, i think they made this app and then abandoned it. I love the layout, but there's no way I'm going to use my iPhone's bunky music app to pre download music. ✓ AwfullYou have to pay for the EQ which is the most important part of this app and it doesn't work with apple music so I can only play about 16 songs and the other 187 just sit there not doing anything other than making finding said 16 songs take around 11 times longer than it should, I don't even like the 16 songs I have access to that much..Version: 1.1.7
✓ Absolute garbageThis would be an excellent player with a great equalizer if the Denon programmers had done a minimum of quality control. They didn't, and because of that every single day this app tells me that I have to either buy or restore the equalizer that I already paid for. Sometimes this happens while I'm driving, and I use my phone connected through Bluetooth audio to the car's stereo, so many days I can't listen to music because of this extremely buggy app. Do yourself a favor and buy an app that works instead..Version: 1.1.7
✓ Does Not Play AnythingI just downloaded this app and bought the $2 EQ function. However, the app does not play anything at all. It seems to find the downloaded music just fine, loads it up into the queue, but then nothing. Pressing play will result in a faint “click” as if it is trying to activate the track, but nothing will play. The play button does not turn into the pause symbol, either. Forward/backward scrubbing through a track seems to work, and it shows track time information, but still there is no audio as the tracks will not play. I have deleted and re-downloaded the app, restarted my phone, started and quit Apple Music so as to make it “let go” of the Airplay function, (A track that is supposed to be playing in the Denon Audio app in Airplay tab simply says “iPhone”), but still nothing. Even tried a few different headphones/earbuds with no luck. There is absolutely no support on this app that I can find outside of the in-app FAQ, which has no troubleshooting. ✓ Still the best for queue management, but desperately needs to be updatedThis is still the best music app if you want to put a bunch of songs (or, especially, playlists) into a playback queue and let it go. The stock music app's Up Next feature is useless in this regard, as it will only insert selected tracks or playlists after the current song. So the Denon app is indispensable if you manage your music the way I do. Updates needed: - Support newer devices with larger screens - Support the iTunes feature that allows you to associate artwork with a playlist - An iPad-friendly app would be nice as well, instead of having a blown-up iPhone app on the larger screen.Version: 1.1.7

✓ DisappointingIt's actually a great up, but if you choose to turn off the wi-fi data option (which most will do), then you continually get a warning pop up on the screen reminding you that it is turned off, and you have to acknowledge the warning. ✓ Doesn't work properlyThe Equalizer function works very well, i managed to get my beats headphones sounding sweet, however i noticed that when a song is playing if u try to queue/play another song u just get an error saying it cant play next song...this is an awesome feature if it worked. ✓ A burden to use but worth the EQI’m heading impaired so bought it so I could listen to podcasts and radio and increase intelligibility by boosting higher frequencies. The EQ is something every player should have and it works. Sadly the player in this app is unstable, has a lousy search function and does not present search results in a friendly and easy to read way. ✓ IPhone 7plus. With eq on makes horrible chatter clicking noisesJust got the new iPhone 7plus today. Downloaded this app. It worked well. So I decided to purchased the in app eq. When the eq is on it makes a horrible chatter clicking noise no matter what song I'm playing. However, it does not do this on radio portion. Only when playing songs I have on the iPhone 7plus playlist in the unit. It does not do this on my iPad with the same os, or my I touch. Just the new iPhone 7plus. I tried everything! Turned off features in phone and even rebooted, deleted, reloaded. An obvious glitch. This software needs to be updated! Hasn't been updated since 2014. ✓ Music loverI really like this app. Makes a huge difference whit a quality headphones. I'm using Bose headphones and this app helps to add some more bass to the music i listen to in the gym. The Denon brand name is well known in audiophile circles. I used to own some of their audio devices and i was never disappointed. That is why I'm using this app. Please don't change anything on it. ✓ It's okay I guess.There needs to be an option to play music by the album. I don't like needing to add every single song to the now playing menu. ✓ Hopeless Tunein streamingIf the streaming signal drops, nine times out of ten it doesn’t restart automatically. So you press play to restart it and now you have two streams, one of which is delayed by a quarter of a second. At this point you can press stop and you have one stream running, but now you can’t stop it without quitting the app. Basic stuff done wrong. Baffling that they could actually get such a straight forward thing completely messed up. Stick to hifi, Denon. I’m looking for something else now. I don’t want this on my phone. ✓ At least it worksWould like to use equalizer without paying though it is only two dollars the transaction is unnecessary. Also would like to add that my new earphones have overpowering highs so since Apple who has a phone with the majority of its purpose being music and games doesn't have their own equalizer I have been looking for a good one. ✓ An abject piece of garbageI was shocked by this one. I wanted and still want an EQ for podcasts; a lot of podcasts are made without a lot of attention to the sound of the voices and I often feel like I’m listening to mud and bad sound, dropouts and poor digital transmission. This app was said to have the ability to play and EQ music and podcasts, but it can’t load or play them, there is no play / stop interface. ✓ Not as good as other reviews suggest.The app costs £1.49, so why are adverts for Denon products popping up all the time? It also keeps asking me to rate it (this time I am). It is also really awkward to use - unlike the Apple music app, where you can tap a song to play it and then continue with the album, you have to add the song/album to a list to be played which is not easy when you are walking outside and adds unnecessary steps. ✓ Needs to be refinedNeeds better method to adjust equalizers. Only good if you have iPhone 5 because equalizer 10 band for example can fit your fingers for adjustment with bigger screen. I never get my 10 band adjustment done correctly because they go off balance. I suggest the equalizer should implement numbers for how much one can adjust the equalizers. ✓ Great App with Major AnnoyancesLove the App, sound quality good, far more tunable (especially with the Equalizer added in) and sleek interface. Major annoyances: Every time the app is started, one of two things happens: 1) The in-app purchased EQ is turned off and asks to be "purchased" or "restored" (if you already bought it, which I did) meaning you need to reenter your Apple credentials to "restore" it, or 2) you start the app and the EQ is just turned off, so you have to go back into settings to turn it on, in which case most times annoyance #1 happens. I would rate this five stars if not for the incessant and annoying need to re-authenticate the $1.99 equalizer I purchased..Version: 1.1.7
✓ So much potential.This probably one of the best apps if you are into fine tuning your audio, I have managed get some outstanding sounds that make my headphones really sing. But the problem that keeps this app from being the best 3rd party music player ever is the fact that songs have to be put into a queue rather than allowing me to skip, repeat and shuffle songs and albums I want. Denon, if you're reading this please please add skip, repeat, playlist integration and shuffle functions in your next update as you really got a great app on your hands but misses the mark with the above problems. Buy the way, the tunein function is fantastic and a huge bonus to allow me to listen to my favourite stations with my custom EQ settings. 3/5.Version: 1.0.5
