✓ Good But....It's good but the one thing missing are the movement dials themselves for X-Wing. It's one of the most common used pieces of the game and will eventually break down from where and tear. ✓ Simple and HandyI primarily play the Star Wars RPG along with Legion. The app is really easy to use and simple; and the roll animation is pleasing to say you’re not rolling real dice! The only issue is the app is not optimised for the iPhone X/11 display. The titles are obscured behind the camera bezel and the menu icon is inflated. ✓ Extremely helpful when playing Edge of the EmpireThe ability to save preset dice for skills/attributes that are used commonly combined with the fact that its extremely clear to see the dice results allows for a clean play experience when playing Edge of the Empire! I haven't played X-wing yet so I'm not able to comment on how the app works for that game, but for EotE my group and I found it to be a huge help. I love how "clean" the app is! My only suggestion for the developers: maybe a quick breakdown on the side/bottom of the display showing the totals of the different dice results (so it's a little easier for the GM or other players to see and help newer players)..Matthew GerbigVersion: 1.0.3

✓ Pretty usefulThis app is pretty useful and helpful to those that can’t the dice quite right or quickly. There is a bug in the version that I found. If you add a boost and it comes up blank it has a 3 as the calculated totals. If you have 2, it will say 6. Didn’t notice this with a setback but still playing with it. For the SW games, it's inconsequential, but if you planned on using it with other games that require more than 20 dice in a roll (like warhammer 40k), you'll need something else. Still and all, for what this app costs, it's a winner. ✓ Stellar, Especially After ImprovementsThe original reason I bought this was to have digital dice for the SW RPG. It was good, but not great. I ended up using other websites for my RPG dice rolling. I saw there was an update and decided to play around with it. It’s easy to say that I love this app now. You can save presets of dice, which is great. And the fact that you can use generic dice means you can use this for any game. Good to see that flexibility! ✓ Overall GoodThe only two things that are problematic for me: For the rpg, force pips are inverted. The dark side pips show up as white and the light side pips are dark in the results. I don’t understand why they would do that. It’s confusing. There is no ability to add results when rolling dice. Some situations generate automatic successes or failures in different systems and it would be nice to include them ahead of time. It works the way you want it to and costs less than buying an extra set of dice for one of those games, meaning if you play more than one you'll save a lot more money. ✓ Needs better default settings.The default settings have to be adjusted in order to optimize this app. The starting sensitivity is too low and having ‘cancel symbols’ disabled makes the app harder to use. ✓ Crashes after sleepingOverall, this is a great app. If you play Edge of the Empire, it's a decent investment at 1/3 the price of the dice set. However, there's a problem with the current version which causes the app to crash after the phone sleeps. It's an annoyance, and it can take a bit of time to get back into the app to rebuild your dice pool and roll, but that doesn't affect the core functionality of the app, so much as make it a tad inconvenient from time to time..LickinToadVersion: 1.1.3

✓ Better than expectedI balked a little at the price, but picked this up as I have purchased both X-Wing and the Edge of the Empire beta. I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the app. Of all the different dice apps I have used, this is easily the most polished. There is a nice selection of sound effects and backgrounds to choose from. The dice roll well and the ability to save common sets seems like a plus. As an iPad 2 user, I would really like to see a landscape mode for this app. When gaming I often set my iPad on the table using my smart cover. It would be ideal for me if the app would have an appropriate orientation when I did that. Otherwise, nice app. Recommended if you will be playing FFGs Star Wars games..DiojidogVersion: 1.0

I did notice a different to the placement of the faces on the dice, when comparing the basic system to Star Wars, but its all random in the end so its not a big deal - unless you’re massively into chaos theory. I'd agree with the reviewer about adding colour to the dice but also add one fundamental element for the x-wing, the ability to change the face of the die when you apply an action from a 'Focus' or card that allows you to do so. ✓ Problem with force dice.I can’t seem to find a bug report in the app so I’m doing it here. App works great, but when I roll the force dice, the ‘show results’ function are showing dark side pips as a white circle, and light side pips as a dark circle. ✓ Dice Removed(Edit: Dice added back)This was my primary dice rolling app. Now I’m finding a new one after they ripped out a lot of conventional dice(d4,d8,d12,d20). Just because your rulebooks don’t specifically call for those dice doesn’t mean I wasn’t using them, even in those games. But hey, it’s not like I paid for those features, right?
