✓ UnplayableDownloaded the game yesterday and it says I’ve got 400+mb to download in game right off the bat. No issue there, as that is standard for a lot of games. The issue is, IT WONT DOWNLOAD. Every time I get to the same percentage it disconnects and says to retry. Over and over. My internet connection is great, I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, WiFi and pure data, nothing matters. Can’t play the game if you won’t let me..BattlEfroNtier3Version: 5.3.1

✓ TerribleThis game is absolute garbage. Everything is rigged against you unless you pour money into the app. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD SPEND $100+ ON THIS GAME. You are set back and completely at the mercy of better players. I have had the game downloaded for about two years now and have decent heroes to use in their events where they buff lower end guys which is nice. BUT there are FRICKEN OP TEAMS THAT REGENERATE MORE HEALTH THAN WHAT YOU HIT THEM FOR. SO BROKEN. On top of this, when my team receives massive health boosts from events and I can deal A LOT more damage and have more health than the opponent, some teams still beat me BECAUSE THEY REGEN THEIR HEALTH AND WAIT ME OUT. Finally, after all that garbage, I buy a 25,000 COIN PACK WHICH TAKES FOREVER TO GRIND TO AND GET NOTHING. This game is not worth your time or patience. It will cheat you into submission. ✓ Misleading sales and poor optimizationAdditional content is expensive, and you pay for things that aren’t fully explained. Pay an extra ten bucks for a third rune slot; SURPRISE, you can only use special runes in that slot. How do you get them? You buy them for five bucks apiece of course. Any explanation for that when you make the first purchase? Of course not. The basic screen lock feature doesn’t work, my phone flips the screen orientation every load screen regardless of my own settings. Each time I try to load the game, it updates itself (I have to download up to 433Mo) and it stucks between 80 to 96% of completion before displaying a message that the game can’t reach the server and asks me to try again. I don’t have to say that it gaves me the same result each time I try. I updated my Ipad and re-installed the game, but nothing helps. And with all the comments about it, I am far to be the only one with this problem. This is sad, because I pretty like this game. I’m a huge fan of the Dragon Age series and I would’ve loved to continue. But with this problem occuring, if it is not corrected, this game is dead to me. Packs are notoriously out of balance in regard to $ vs reward (browse their forums as proof), character cards are not balanced properly and there is only the illusion of meaningful strategy. ✓ I want to like this game. I really do.I recently started playing the DA main titles again (Origins, 2 and Inquisition), and I’m having a blast. Arcane Warrior/Spirit Healer instead of a fighter as a tank was a meme and it worked beautifully, I love this series because of that. Being a mobile game, I wasn’t expecting much. Loading screen flipped six times during boot up, weird but not terrible. Assemble the starting team and start quests. I can do nothing but watch as, despite my phone being orientation-locked, the game decides it’s a wheel and flips every three seconds. Close the game halfway through the tutorial that explains nothing, open it the next day, amd a npc monologue box opens a fight early. Cue the first pack for a rare champ, then go into the scripted lose fight. Lose the fight, and get the second dialogue congratulating me on my “victory”. Can’t go back and win the fight, since the tutorial locks me out of the already limited controls. Can’t go forward because I never won the previous fight, so I’m stuck in the tutorial. The gems are also really bs what heroes you receive from the 240 chance of heroes. You might only get 1 decent legendary character and the rest are garbage. I literally have gotten the pride demon over 15 times. You screw players over in the daily quests and only award the weakest useless characters, even on the hard levels. ✓ Solid fun but a bit of a grindThis game has kept me busy for a couple months now. The 3.0 update is controversial in that the game slows down somewhat. The graphics are excellent although text can be tough to read on a phone. Gameplay is very simple. Design your squad from heroes you collect then press fight. Squad design though can be very complex. Various heroes boost each other and have special attacks. I most enjoy the design aspect. You can either fight through a 'dungeon' or against other players. There are general pve an pvp options as well as special events that can boost certain hero types. The grind comes in developing and getting new heroes. It can take quite awhile to acquire and power up heroes especially since the 3.0 release. Purchases are gems which can be used to refill your timers for pvp or pve ( they have separate action points). You can use gens to buy heroes but this is pricey in my opinion. -1 star for the grind and -1 star for the cost of gems..GoraggVersion: 3.0.0

✓ Activision’s rugged matchmaking Plus EA’s signature pay to win.It’s obvious that they are trying to push you into micro transactions. It matches you up with people who are miles stronger then you. I have a pretty decent squad but I can’t beat anyone because their squad is absolutely stacked. I try searching for easier opponents with squads that are similar to mine, but it keeps putting me up against guys with some of the best characters in the game. Also to top this off anyone with Josephine is almost unbeatable. I went up against multiple people with Josephine, a silver/gold character, and an epic big creature or whatever it calls them. Now normally this squad is no match for my epic Knight Commander Meredith, legendary Wryme, epic Florianne, epic Mhairi, and epic sentinel archer. Josephine literally can’t die because your heroes won’t go after her because it’s completely random who they go after, so you might get a good hit on her reducing her to half health only for her to literally heal herself back to max. And she heals and buffs the health of allies with no negative consequences, because she can still do decent damage. I’ve played maybe ten people in total with Josephine and every time my squad had a way higher strength and way higher health, but it won’t let me beat them because they have Josephine. It’s stuff like that on top of the rigged matchups that make this game almost unplayable. Which is a shame because it started off kind of fun..Vvjb mvvjhvVersion: 5.4.4

✓ BoringNot much strategy for a strategy game. Game consist of you gathering gold you earn from quest to buy hero cards at random. Really no interactive combat. You just watch it unfold. The only strategy is picking which heroes you want with you and even then it becomes unnecessary when you get really high level cards. I was lucky enough to get a Epic rank hero, one of the corrupted lyrium Templars. I did the first 2 areas of the campaign, and the Templar could’ve easily went into every fight just by himself and won. He one-shotted all the enemies. Very boring game. The only thing stopping me from rating it one is the amount of characters in the game. I’ll be uninstalling it and hoping for better dragon age mobile games in the future.Gameon0000Version: 5.3.1

✓ Opponent change limit?Really a limit to how many times you can change your opponent? I don’t know if this is just for this event but this is worse than how to system was when this game first game out. It was originally 30s and it would automatically fight someone which the reason why you were looking so long is because regardless of your rank in events 3 star legendary p2w players are all you find and now with the limit it doesn’t refresh when you leave it then return so guess what can’t find an opponent that you can beat after 8 changes, whelp here’s a team of 95s that you have to fight. Trying to find an opponent again? Well here’s someone with similar rank to yours but oh they’re all rank 4, max level and have 200,000 plus health cause they can buff each other. How is this a better system than allowing me to search for 5-10 min to finally find someone to fight? Giving us more stamina doesn’t mean anything when we lose 9 out of 12 battles. ✓ No improvements after 6 years.I played around the time of release but hit a F2P wall very quickly. I installed in 2020 to scratch a DA itch and learned nothing has changed in all this time. There is a severe cap on stamina, the ranked system offers no rewards and has no real purpose. Upgrading units is a grind even if you spend money. It looks terrible.
