✓ Nice App, no support , none, forget about itI bought this app because I saw some nice reviews and I love Trains. I started to build my own railroad and wanted to add more freight cars and content so I went to create an account. They said I already have one,,,okay,,, so I went to open a new account under a new email which has never been used. They said I already had an account. Really?, on a new email account? Okay, so I went to their help desk. You need to sign into your account, you know, the one they say I have but don’t. So I went to the developer’s website, sent them an email,,, twice,,, never heard from them, so,,, no account, no new content, makes the app just about useless. I guess this means they aren’t interested in selling me any more content..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Bad controlsThe controls on this game are atrocious and the realistic ones are locked behind completing the tutorials which use the bad basic controls that are never accurate and cause you to screw up the session and exceed the speed limit..Version: 1.0.8
✓ DisappointedAs a stand alone train sim, this ‘new’ version is a good start if you don’t have the previous version. I was disappointed to find that I downloaded yet another version of the same route and had to pay again. Worse, when using the old ‘journeys’ downloads, the routes crash part way through and an advert for the new one pops up and you can’t return to the game. Shame..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Improvements to free train selection and download stationThe game is pretty good overall, performs well, isn’t riddled with ads like 80% of the train games on the App Store and is a good way to kill time, one thing that could be improved on is the selection of trains, the only new free trains are the mountain type, the big boy, the log wagon, and the GP40-2 that comes from rating the game, what could happen is giving most of the payware locomotives out for free but have less paid locos and trains, I’m not suggesting removing payware entirely (but I’m not saying that’s a bad idea) because money has to be made but, compared to the previous free trains selection, all we got was 2 steam engines, another diesel engine and a log wagon, which (when you think about it) is kind of a rip off, for instance: British steam trains and a wider selection of UK freight and passenger rolling stock would be nice (because MK2’s and MK3’s aren’t a very good selection for UK coaches unless you are obsessed with British Rail) and maybe some steam engines like Flying Scotsman or Mallard or maybe even Thomas! Otherwise, free train improvements that are there, I think they’re worth about 99 pence tops. Improvements to the free download station for IOS is also a long overdue upgrade as it always says “file not found”, if it doesn’t get fixed, then it’s useless!.Version: 1.0.8

✓ Good, but needs some workI’ve been a fan of Trainz since the first iPad version, but this one needs some work (and the original Trainz should be brought back). Speed zones seem haphazard and often make no sense. Many of them are too short (for example, places where the speed limit goes to 75mph but then goes back to 45 or 50 before the train can accelerate to the new top speed). Freight operations are kind of strange. On the Tidewater Route specifically, I’d like to see more scenarios where you pick cars up and drop others off rather than having a single string of cars for the entire trip and repeatedly loading and unloading them (a real railroad would NEVER unload crude oil from a tank car then re-load it with diesel fuel). I like that more modern trains are making an appearance, especially Amtrak, Norfolk-Southern and CSX. It would be nice to see packages with multiple locomotives and cars from a single railroad, and it would also be nice if purchased trains could be used on any route. Those are the improvements that would take this from a 3-star to a 5-star app. But I’d also like to give some kudos – the Maglev train is awesome and fun to drive, and the long routes are fantastic. ✓ Good game but a two things...Ok this is a good game but you have to learn things before you start Come on! I just want to enjoy driving trains and also I was in the steam train and another train went by and I got stuck in that train and couldn’t get back to my steam train..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Umm...This game is...alright. It’s a good continuation of the popular Trainz Simulator game series for PC and Mac. But there are a few things that I would improve. One for example, is the download station. It is gods, I’ll say. The problem I have is that the game has no content manager, or way to download third party content from websites. I know that you can’t always trust those websites, it’s just so annoying. Minecraft has been around for what, 10 years after the FIRST Trainz game was released, and the mobile version of THAT has way more functionality than this. You can even install mods and maps from other people. Why can’t this game have that simple feature. Another one is the Auran Planet account. I know, I shouldn’t call it that, since that’s it’s old name, but I’m still frustrated. There is no way to login with an existing account, and you have to make a new account. That is hard for me. Anyway, I hope this review is helpful for people who play the game, or are wondering about if they should by this, and I hope it’s helpful for N3V Games so they can fix this game, even though the last update was 5 years ago, and they don’t even focus on this game anymore, but still the PC and Mac versions. ✓ RubbishAbsolutely rubbish, when I go off the app it just kept deleting all the sessions I’ve created. One time I went of the app and it delete all the engines and routes I have brought and all the routes I built all that time for nothing. I don’t recommend this app..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Add trains plzSo I was looking up for some train games and I found this one,i thought it was perfect for me but when I downloaded it I had to learn how to drive and I have to do it again but I want more trains from the USA and if this is helpful plz do it now, Add more trains like, Conrail,BNSF,CSX,AWVR,Canadian pacific rail,Union Pacific,Amtrak,Santa Fe,Burlington rail and that’s all, I know it’s just hard when I have to do like…I’m just guessing alright!!?? About 22 trains and I want it to be 100 trains for the maximum. And part two off the talk, how can we search for USA collection of trains like awvr, because I love awvr and when someone rec a vid of I always search for someone driving a random awvr train like 7346 and 777 and 1206 and I wonder….how can I get awvr trains in trainz sim 2??? ✓ Buggy and ExpensiveToo many bugs. White lines all along most of the tracks. The couplers often don’t work, which means starting all over if you didn’t save your progress. Switches often don’t switch until you tap it a dozen times, crashed my train or ran through red lights because of this. In the free US cargo route, after the first drop off the next goal pops up saying to head down the track and all the switches and lights will be taken care of, yet the at the current stop is red, and I can’t switch it to green, so I can’t proceed. At all. Only a fool would spend money on a game that barely works. Don’t be that fool..Version: 1.0.8
✓ Not good enough to pay for Trainz3Running this on an iPad Pro 21 but the track is white and only clears as it’s approached. The free roam view feels like you’re drunk when trying to control it and lastly the game crashes or items just fail to appear such as couple/uncouple. The game is ok but not great..Version: 1.0.8
✓ Seriously, N3V?Hey there! I really do love Trains, but there are seriously a lot of problems with this game. Every time I launch the app, it keeps making me want to re-download DLC I already installed. Also, after I use the mini-map for a fourth time, most of the scenery just disappears for no reason, and in other words, there is nothing wrong about the beauty of the scenery. I even found that some landscape has been replaced by useless black spots. If I were to use the app for two hours or longer, the app would just unexpectedly quit. This is absolutely why you should update the game! Also, to any of you who are suggesting new content, well yes I’d like new content too, but y’all please be patient, they will release new content as soon as they can!.Version: 1.0.4

✓ Ripped off!!I bought this game and reviewed it about 18 months ago. At the time I was very impressed with it, even though I thought it was a bit overpriced, I played it for a long time until I became fed up with it and, after a long break, I’ve decided to return to it once more. When I first played this game I spent a considerable amount of money on in-app purchases (I bought nearly everything available at the time) So why is it that upon my return, nearly all of my purchased content is asking me to pay for it again? I’ve logged in with my account details and clicked on the button that is meant to restore my purchases and it re-downloaded about two tracks and scenarios, I purchased a lot more than that! I now feel no incentive to play this game at all now that i’m pretty much left with the basic package again!.Version: 1.0.4
✓ I love this game but it does need some tweaking...I love trains, and this game is great. I play it on my iPad, and with the large screen its great. I would make a suggestion that you make it a little more ios friendly, it seems to freeze up at times, and a bug icon has come on a few times. The sound shuts off when I get a call in or mute it, it won't come back on unless I back clear out and restart it. Don't know why. The switches need to be a little more defined as too witch direction your heading to avoid derailments. And it would be nice to be able to create an account with out it freezing. ✓ Not worth itI downloaded this thinking that it would be a good sim for £4.99 but instead, I got something where there's practically nothing to choose from, the trains for the UK are from practically the 1970s and they are almost impossible to get going. If you want me to think my £4.99 was worth it, then add some trains that actually still run and make them not appear like the brakes are constantly applied, and make the sound of the engines powering up smoother..Version: 1.0.4

You should add Thomas and his friends to the game as 95% of kids love him and would make much more people want to buy it as my daughter loves this game but always asks me "mummy when is Thomas and his friends coming" 2. ✓ Buying locomotives for the IOS version than PC version (important).Dear N3V Games, I really enjoy creating railroads and ride many locomotives to explore this wonderful open world environment. In the main website for Trainz, you can buy or purchase new kinds of locomotives, but only for the PC version and not for the IOS version. I spend days and days to look for buying new locomotive for the IOS version, but there is nothing found!!! [[[[[Here's what I recommended for this game; you need to create a brand new in-app-purchases menu where you can buy new locomotives like GP-9, SD-70, or DASH-8!!! Locomotives from Russia (like TEM2, TEM7a, CHME3, and 2TE116), China, Germany (BR232 Ludmilla), France, and/or Spain will also be included and not just UK (British steam locomotives should also be included), US, and Australia.]]]]] If you cannot do that, the players like us will become tired and may not become more enthusiastic. ✓ Was an amazing app till the last updateMy son Is devastated. His Trainz app no longer works. ✓ It's not badFirst the price when you search for it on safari is £2 cheaper than it is in the App Store which is kindof annoying. I expected some German commuter trains to be available as they are displayed in Trainz Driver for iPhone, but sadly isn't the case (unless I missed them) For the most part, it is quite good and there is a lot to keep you amused.
