✓ Another Tap & Collect gameLots of tapping to collect gold, do tasks, and tend to resort guests. Lots of intrusive prompts to spend real money. Lots of different currencies and objects to keep track of. Lots of buttons and flashing things cluttering the UI. Not many meaningful decisions for the player to make in designing their own resort, in layout, appearance, or business strategy. If you want a mindless "level up" game to check in on throughout the day, this game is probably as good as any. If you want a builder game that requires at least a moderate level of thought, planning, or creativity, with the consequent satisfaction of executing those things well, look elsewhere..Version: 9.15.0

✓ Will not run on my iPadI usually play this game on my pc at home. I have had to go away for a few days and although I had loaded on my iPad it will not run. It gets the display screen with Naomi on locks and then crashes. My iPad is supposed to support it as shown in the App Store and I am close to completing the bridge task. Not very happy with the cross platform issue with this game and the help topic suggests turning off hd graphics and animations and selecting dynamic building. Then found out there was a glitch in the game and I shouldn’t have received them. Ok, no problem until they reverted my game back a month and a half and I lost everything I worked for that wasn’t spent on the crystals. I get it if they took away what I bought with the crystals or put mine In the negative, but to revert all my progress for an issue with their game that I was unaware of, was ridiculous. ✓ PAY TO PLAYAs much fun as it (potentially)is to play, this game is like playing in Las Vegas,. It’s a major strain on the pockets. There are a few bugs in the game. Frequently when I have won crystals, I don’t receive the actual amount that I won. I went to the HELP section and commented that the game cheats. I never received a reply. When prompted to watch a video for a free reward or incentive I have not received the incentive, consequently I rarely select the free icon, because I know I won’t receive anything. It is expensive to play the game, in fact you spend more and receive less. The graphics are wonderful. And potentially it could be fun to play, but it does not reward you for the time spent, or the money spent. The tasks are INSURMOUNTABLE! You would have to spend a paycheck to accomplish them. ✓ FrustratedThis game only went half way. They have a function in it that makes double click to spend certain items, “are you sure you want to spend these”. However on the most important item which you have to pay real money for or earn them over time, that function is mysteriously left off. I have wasted at least a thousand gems in this game by playing fast, like most players and you accidentally spend them gems, happened again today. I reported it and got, we are sorry. ✓ Lots of potential, but they try too hard for moneyThis is a very fun game, and very addicting! It is put on pretty well and the events keep you interested. However, most goals in this game require real money to complete. I play this game a lot every single day and still cannot complete most of the events without paying money. My biggest issue with this game is no matter how often you collect profits, buildings break down regardless. You can work for months to complete one building that collects a profit of 406,000 every 18 hours. When that building breaks down, it costs 2,300,000 to fix and 13.5 hours to fix. You collect from the building every single day and it still breaks down and costs you almost 6x the profit to fix? That is absurd to me. Even when you complete an event with real money to get a building to collect 120,000 profit it still costs over 800,000 to fix. They just want you to spend a lot of your own money even though you work so hard to get those buildings. Until they find a better system, I will not spend another dime on this game..Version: 11.8.0

After you get higher in the game, the buildings and tasks get way to complicated and timing consuming, to the point I’m ready to move on and find a new game that I won’t have to wait so long to complete task. ✓ Waste of time and moneyThis game COULD be good... But it's not. 1) Everything is so small and smooshed together that you can't click on what you want. When special event quests are happening this is extremely problematic as you waste resources you're trying to save by accidentally clicking on things floating around town when you're just trying to collect your coins from buildings. 2) The holiday event quests are impossible, and I'm saying that as someone who is able to devote logging into the game every hour to collect the needed resources. If you have a job, other hobbies, life in general, you will never finish the special quests. 3) I don't mind spending some money on games that are initially free. But I bought a $10 package to help me complete the new year quest and now I'm finding out with only 10 hours left that it's still not going to be enough. I spent a lot of money on this game, but the past few years the game has changed to leave a very bitter taste in the long playing gamers who spent money. I refuse to spend anymore. I was banned for stating my opinion on GI taking all the good items out of the gift buildings that we worked hard and paid money for to get those items. I will not support a game that cannot accept honest feedback from the people who spent money on their game and do not like the direction the game is taking. ✓ BuggyHave been enjoying this game, an up to level 19, but now some of my buildings are broken. Time does not pass while you're not playing the game. For example you set it to do a 2hr event and you come back two days later and that event is still in progress! The game froze for a second on me and I quickly tried to an icon again since it appeared to not take. Instead they ended up hitting the icon and unwantingly spent 20,000 crystals!!! The game has two touch for some things but doesn’t have it setup for spending crystals. I guess since you could buy crystals with real money the game is setup so you could accidentally spend crystals and lose them, so that you have to buy more. ✓ Really awfulIt drags on and on, you never get anywhere. It was so boring. The only objectives listed needed me to be a couple of levels higher. One mini game was ok until I got stuck and couldn’t get past a level through many, many plays. And the speed boat game wasn’t my thing. I played many times for 10-20 minutes over a couple of months and barely crawled to mid-way through level 8. It was awful. ✓ Mostly funMy biggest complaint with this game is how many times I’ve accidentally spent crystals to speed up repairs or speed up coin collection. Seriously. You need to make it necessary for a double click or something to confirm it. I’ll be scrolling over my island and it happens and it pisses me off every time it happens. Crystals are hard enough to collect. Also, you need to improve the way every single building gets clicked on wrongly instead of what you’re meaning to click. A lot of times the unintended crystal spendage is because of the accidental building tap on the wrong building. And you aren’t asked to confirm the usage so crystals are just spent constantly without intention. These things should really not be issues. ✓ New updateThe new update has now closed my app down multiple times. It’s really frustrating as you are forced to jump through 5 dozen oops to be able to complete a goal. ✓ Great Game, but...Island 2 is overall a great game. The objectives are very fun to do and the achievements gives me a sense of accomplishment. However, the game does crash or lag frequently. I do not know if the problem is my Ipad version or the games' problem. When I am playing Racing into the Sunset, numerous times has the game lagged and caused me to crash. Because I don't have a sufficient amount of gems, I will watch an add to retrieve my gems. But then, in the middle of the add, the game crashes and I must do everything again. I can't get back the fuel and I have wasted a large sum of gems to finish the race perfectly. Also, the game will sometimes reset my progress on missions and I will take weeks to get back the progress I lost. But, Island 2 is a great game to play. You barely get any and the prices are ridiculous for a cell phone game. ✓ AddictiveThis game is addictive but it has many technical issues whereby other players get updates days ahead of others meaning you cannot win an event. If winning is not an issue with you the go ahead and play as it has lots of stages and events to go through, although too many times because the events are only available for set periods of time you have no chance of finishing it when you get the update days after it is originally released to others. Support blame the likes of Apple for the delays but I’m not agreeing with that, after all Game Insight are a technology company and should have control over these matters..Version: 11.0.1

Over the last year+ it’s gotten out of control. Now EVERYTHING costs real money, including daily quests, the building star ratings, playing in battles, storage space, LAND and, of course, the event quests that require you to log in every 75 minutes for 9-12 days straight. Forget about work, forget about sleeping, the game is now your life. Players are starting to speak up - what used to cost $20 now costs upwards of $100. Seriously. Instead of listening to players about how to keep the game fun, they are removing comments from the Facebook page and banning the player. This is just unethical. Don’t bother with this game. ✓ Fun but can feel defeatingI really enjoy playing this game for the most part. The graphics are good, I haven’t run into any bugs I’ve noticed after playing for several weeks, and I don’t have to spend a lot of my own money to enjoy it. It includes several mini games and I just love that one is a memory game. However, there’s a specific aspect of the game that can make you feel like you’re completely wasting your time, it really ruins me experience whenever I run into it. You have to spin a wheel for each building, and it gives it a rating, the higher the rating the more money the building earns. This wheel is rigged to make sure you get a 2 out of 5 most of the time. You can save up, it takes a week or more per building to save enough coins, then attempt to upgrade these ratings, but it’s still rigged so usually you just lose the coins you spent a week or more saving. I’m not really sure how this is supposed to improve the user experience, given how frustrated it makes me, while again the rest of the game is outstanding. This tiny little part just has an outsize influence on how much I enjoy an otherwise fantastic game. Maybe if they could just make it so those little silver coins aren’t so scarce, it wouldn’t feel like you’re losing weeks of savings each time you spin....Version: 11.16.1

✓ Zynga has better supportI loved this game. I have played it for years and spend a lot on it. Until couple of days ago I received an invoice for in game purchase that I haven’t authorised plus the purchase wasn’t even in my game. I have contacted their customer support for a full refund and explanation why they withdrew money from my account without my consent and authorisation. What they said is that they will send the purchase to my game. Which they never did. I had to contact iTunes to get back my money. Not to mention that PI never even wrote a name of the person I was emailing with and the emails weren’t even proper emails and find them very, very rude. It was worst then dealing with Zynga support. ✓ Terrible customer supportI just started playing this game and accidentally spent a huge amount of gems because I moved too fast and selected a gift for the in player character that costs 300 gems ( I’m still trying to figure out why the computer character even has an option for a 300 gem gift ). I immediately contacted customer support only to be told I spent the gems so there is nothing they can do but hey they will pass my feedback along. And then the ticket was closed out without asking if I had any other questions or issues. ✓ Needs some work but it has potential.This game has a good storyline and you have upwards of 20+ tasks to complete to obtain each task building (this is too long) as an average player with not a lot of time on their hands that means a bit over a month and some gems and I’m just getting to the last task of the first task building now. Graphics are good and no ad pop ups flash up which are a BIG plus. However ads for rewards do not work, you watch an ad, the lizard turns and then “something went wrong please try again later” appears. Once the bugs are ironed out it would be a great game to play, If the developer made building tasks at a maximum of 25 tasks per building then it would be an excellent game. ✓ UghhI have played this game for quite a while now. I like it a lot but it’s ridiculous how they have events where you have a certain amount of time to finish them, when it is impossible to finish these events without having to spend actual money. The fact that it double asks you if you want to spend crystals on somethings, but doesn’t ask you for other things is ridiculous. I just wasted crystals on the stupid sandy caps game cause I accidentally clicked on it. The sandy caps game is annoying. ✓ Fun at firstI’ve given the game 2 stars for a few reason. Most importantly, I recently contacted customer service regarding an issue I was having with a particular quest. I didn’t understand it and after reading multiple message boards on the same issue I decided to ask them what I was doing wrong. I sat down and wrote out my issues and questions. They asked for a screenshot back and I sent one and relaying the same issues again. They respond by saying nothing is wrong and to keep trying. NONE of my questions got answered and I felt like my issues didn’t matter and all I got was a vague response back. Nice customer service...not. Secondly, I personally don’t like how much it costs to expand your space. And when you do get to expand it’s only enough to add maybe 1-2 new buildings and then half of that space gets taken up because I need to have energy buildings. Then they make it worse by only being able to have a certain number of buildings of each type, limiting storage, and not being able to sell/delete all unwanted items..Version: 10.0.1
✓ Don’t botherThis game is never ending and the challenges too time consuming. I was sucked into this game for at least 2.5 years, playing daily and not even halfway to the end. Too many pop ups trying to sell you garbage and you do have to pay in order to really make gains. For a time waster it was good for a minute but don’t play this game with the expectation of finishing. Short of paying loads of money or spending hours a day for years and years, you will not make it beyond halfway. ✓ Good game, some bugsI've played long enough now to give a proper review. Like the title says, this is a good game, but there are issues and bugs that need to be dealt with. I've noticed two major bugs. The first one is random from what I can tell. Sometimes when you watch an ad, you don't get the promised award. The game goes into an endless waiting period, so you're forced to either cancel the operation or close the game and try again later. The second bug is during the speedboat mini-game. If you're playing it and you're phone brings up a message (like: you have 20% power remaining) the mini-game does not pause and generally you lose because you crash. Please look into and fix these bugs. The main gaming issue I have is how dependent on real money the game is if you want to progress quickly. I was given a 3 day challenge quest, and I found out it is a actually impossible to complete in 3 days without spending real money. I'm on my 6th day now for that quest, and I still have a lot to do. Please don't be issuing impossible challenges. If you can make these changes, I'll be happy to give a better star rating..Version: 10.0.1

✓ Sound won’t stay OFF!I play games on my phone in situations that sound isn’t always appropriate (public transport etc) Even though I turned the sound OFF, the game always starts with a VERY loud intro.(it’s really bad if I’m wearing headphones! Yikes!) I also have to go into preferences EVERY SINGLE TIME I open the game, and even though it still shows that the sound is off, it’s playing the awful music. I have to turn it on and then turn it off again to silence it. Also a lot of the game play depends on ads, which are also very loud. I don’t play the game as often as I play other games, BECAUSE of the noise that refuses to be silenced. ✓ Good game but needs improvement.I enjoy playing this game to pass time. For the most part it’s pretty enjoyable. But I have some issues with it. 1. Every time I load the game, I have to go to my preferences to turn off the music and sound effects. The first time I turn it off should be the end of it. Period 2. I noticed other reviews about the star ratings on buildings, and I can’t help but relate. The beginning levels of the game lead you to believe this is a legitimate deal, you get a few 3 and four star buildings, maybe even 5. Then as you progress and move up levels all of a sudden you can’t get past 2 stars on a building, 3 if you’re real dang lucky. 3. The prices of buildings and objects and repairs are not comparable to the coins you make. This leads to struggles to move up levels and complete challenges in a timely manner. ✓ Don’t waste your time with this appThis company is a money grabbing enterprise and when they make a mistake they don’t restore your lost game play or your resources and if you bought crystals and they are lost they won’t replace them or give refund. The game never gets an update and the island doesn’t get the same level of expansion as other games. They have multiple items on the island saying that they will come in a future update, trouble is after playing for 2 years none of the items have arrived. It’s the same events being regurgitated and they have been giving less resources but at the same creating events to use up the resources so you can never have time to re stock your supplies.
