Lifeline: Halfway to Infinity for Negative User Reviews

Disappointingly shortIt was so nice to have Taylor's storyline continue but it was a disappointing play through because it ended way too fast compared to the previous one. Love the series, still. Looking forward to the next one..Version: 1.0

Very shortThis one was way too short to charge $3.99. I finished it in less than a day, they usually take about 3. Not all that impressed..Version: 1.0

Watch app ?I am always excited for a new Lifeline title but with the removal of the Apple Watch app my sense of immersion and subsequent enjoyment of the game just fell flat. Hopefully future titles bring the watch app back or this could sadly be the end of my Lifeline journey..Version: 1.0

Apple Watch Support?I enjoyed playing Lifeline and Lifeline: Silent Night on Apple Watch. Can you also make this game work on Apple Watch as well? Many thanks.Version: 1.0

Wish there was more choices & longer gameplayI love being able to communicate with Taylor again, but compared to previous games with this character is just seemed like a big science lesson (which is fine) but left room for only a couple of judgment calls and most of those were common sense. I feel they kinda just gave us this game because they could and they knew people would buy it. Waiting this long to play Taylor again I felt should have been more interactive and a longer storyline. When I got to the end, I was "Are you serious? I've waited that long just for this?" The first couple games if you don't play in fast mode, take at least 2-3 days to play and there are more choices (even if they're wrong) that you can make. I was done with this one in less than 24 hours. I understand Lifeline generates money but can Big Fish give us more for the cost. Happy to see Taylor again but I feel a little cheated..Version: 1.0

I love this series but what just happenedI'm a huge fan of this series but for some reason after weeks of purchasing the latest game I got charged again for the same game. Why though?.Version: 1.0

Something's missingIt seemed shorter than the other lifeline games. There weren't many outcomes so most of the decisions didn't matter. And no apple watch support is a bummer. Taylor has a wrist communicator and his (hers?) works fine! Even when we had apple watch support it was glitchy. This was one of the only games that supported the Apple watch and how I found it. It's sad to see that feature go. It's still a good series though. I missed Taylor enough to buy it..Version: 1.0

Good, but not great.Disappointed I'm afraid. Only really four main things happen. Just drawn out to seem longer. I'm sorry. I like the series, but this wasn't one of the best..Version: 1.0

Less pop culture references, pleaseI adored the first Lifeline game, but man, does this one almost feel like it’s written by someone else. The writing is just SO focused on seeming clever by dropping nearly-constant pop culture references; it’s not a trait I remember noticing much at all during the first game, so it was kind of odd to suddenly have Taylor doing it what felt like every other conversation. The more it went on, the more it honestly made Taylor less relatable and kind of annoying (I’m also not sure why someone from the future seems to communicate entirely in our-era pop culture, really). The timing of the “real time” messaging didn’t feel as “real” this game, either. Some of the choice prompts honestly just didn’t feel like a choice someone would make while in a near-death situation (Taylor, why are you staying awake to comment on every song on this spaceship playlist ((AGAIN with the pop culture references)), please just go to sleep). Overall, I still enjoyed the game, but it’s definitely the weakest of the Taylor stories..Version: 1.0

Taylor, really? The only plus side is that I get to see this idiot again. However, it's getting a little ridiculous. Always thought the black hole was the end to everything from the last app then this happens? I even started making bad choices for the heck of it. Multiple endings are merely an illusion in this game. You have to play a certain path for it to feel like an actual ending. The rest are just Taylor making dumb choices and dying. Sometimes my advices are never taken. I just felt frustrated the entire time..Version: 1.0

Really? This game is frustrating, it’s worse than a tamagotchi. You have to wait through the elongated pauses “Taylor is walking” etc. Also you can’t input, you only get a choice of 2 responses - not good enough, players have ideas and this is not allowed for. I can’t believe people waste their lives on this junk. Please everyone, find something better to do with your lives!.Version: 1.0

UnderwhelmingI love this series, which is why I'm not giving it one star, but this game felt really short to me. It might have been because this individual game barely had a plot and any character development that should've been there was replaced with literary stalling tactics. I like to play through a few times to see if I can find all of the different paths in each lifeline game, but this one didn't seem to have as many as the others and it felt more linear and like less time and effort was put into this game. While I did appreciate the discussion about the triumphs and hardships scientists have faced in regards to space exploration, it wasn't enough to distract from the fact that there was no plot or satisfying resolution in the "best" ending. If you really need to know how Taylor's story ends, then by all means buy this game and play it, but just expect to walk away feeling let down..Version: 1.0

Not up to standardI'm a huge fan of these games but this instalment is much slower and more repetitive. I'm finding getting through the story to be frustrating as I'm essentially having to repeat answers to questions etc. with the way the narrative is structured. Every other game has been engrossing but this one just doesn't have it..Version: 1.0
