✓ Excellent game but...I’ve been playing this game for quite some time but from about level 35 to about high 40s, your victory points almost always remain the same especially if it’s the same as those on level 60s. Having victory points determine your enemy bases is unfair because they would have higher level defences (at least 15 levels higher), it would make you vulnerable to more raids but you can’t raid any enemy base back so you subsist on the daily events, NPCs, task force and warships for resources. I wish SuperCell would do something that would level the playing field..Version: 43.67
✓ Defence Damage and Unit HealthThe game is great but one thing I’ve noticed is how inaccurate the game stats are. My heavies are level 5 and have 1300 health plus another 300 from statues. Tell me how a level 1 super mortar which does 250 damage per shot is able to eliminate my heavies in one go? I know fixing the game would be nearly impossible but surely fix the stats so they truly reflect how much damage they do or how much health the units truly have.Version: 43.87

✓ Brilliant GameI am a long time player and love this game for many reasons but the one reason that stands out… is that it is not designed to make you stay within the game. You do your attacks and shuffle your defence and then leave. ALL games should be a distraction that fills time in an enjoyable way when REAL LIFE happens. And that is what Boom Beach does. Great for kids and adults. The game does not demand money to succeed. In fact there is no need to buy anything from their “shop”. I give money to Supercell in appreciation of the service (enjoyment) that I receive. All that said, I do have an idea for an improvement for the game. It is an optional “right of reply” button when attacking. The concept being, if you attack a base you can offer the other player to attack your base when they come on line. The other player can “accept” and attack your base, or “decline” and not attack. This would bring a personal nature to the attacks and defence. Not sure if it is possible. ✓ Mercenary invasionsI love this game, this may be the exact opposite to how everyone else feels but I think that the mercenary invasions happen way to often, I defeat 1 then another 3 pop up, I get that it's to help get resources but I like to have a tidy map and and it's a little annoying that I can never seem to clear it off. ✓ Great gameSo I played clash of clans and for me this is better, way better. But there are a few problems like loot its scarce after you get to HQ level 15 you upgrade a building and you have to grind for 2-3 days to get enough loot to upgrade but they kinda have fixed that with Dr. T and crabs but still those are weekly you cant always go to the top and the crab you have 2 days to get some loot, but that’s my only problem at the time of writing this the worst war ship season 20 just started and its horrible with the strategy it’s horrible all you sue is heavys and hope to god the other guy don sent have a boom cannon. It’s annoying because there are no strategy its all luck you get exited when you destroy his base first but he took the entire 30 seconds to look for a strategy but all the bases are the SAME! ✓ Almost got 5 stars....As you have no doubt read in other reviews, this is a very fun game. And I was right on the edge of giving it 5 stars, but there are just 1 too many flaws to justify that. Don’t get me wrong, I love and highly recommend this game, but there are a few issues supercell should address. First, I think there isn’t enough player interaction. In clash of clans, global chatting allows you to constantly drop into a conversation and meet interesting people. And while you can chat with fellow task force members, messages usually have hour gaps before getting a response, which makes it all disjointed. But I think a lot of those online interaction issues are due to a lack of community support. You simply don’t hear about “boom beach fans” or “boom beach youtubers” anymore. This brings me to my second point: advertising is important. What supercell has here is an awesome game, but if nobody hears about it, it won’t regain traction. A bit more money being put towards ads for the game could definitely give the developers a reason to pump out updates and improve the game more consistently. ✓ Amazing but add some thingsI think as you get into the higher levels you can unlock a building that creates supernatural creatures like ghosts and stuff and you can buy haunted boats after you have all the other ships and then upgrade the haunted ships the same and you should add like sea creatures that can help you find treasure and fight in battles and the time for upgrading and the money shouldn't be as much otherwise this is a great game :) thanks.Version: 18.121.1

✓ WonderfulWonderful game, was waiting for this. I prefer this to clash of clans because it has a world war 2 style and I like that. Interesting things added that coc doesn't have such as the gunboat but also took some things out like walls. I need walls to defend my mortars. (That's my tactic) and now I have to use mines... ✓ Fun but annoyingI found I quite like this game, it's fun and challenging, I like how you need to develop a strategy. The down side is if you loose you internet connection during a battle you are kicked out and have to start again(not an issue) except you also still loose your soldiers and funds :( This is a big downside for me.Version: 14.57.1
✓ I LOVE THIS GAMEI really love this game because it allows a big strategy game for me, my kind of game, I thought of something cool you might add, how about a general, like a person you could customize and equip with weapons, like maybe unlocked at hq lvl 11 or such, but you could have like templates where it is like a tank or warrior, but when you raise damage, fire rate goes down, and when health goes up speed goes down, maybe even custom looks and skins and abilities I think people would like it but you may need to test it *wink *wink I would love that, I even came up with a mental design. ✓ Long time fanI’ve played Boom Beach for a long time now. Very enjoyable without the need to invest long chunks of time (unless you want to). Specifically the latest update, I like that it takes advantage of the iPhone X’s screen, but I don’t like how small the text is. The font size is just a bit too small that it’s uncomfortable to read. ✓ Awesome game but one tiny bugHi supercell, You have made an excellent game and I really love it. I have two accounts one of them is hq 3 and one is hq 14, and I check them everyday. But there is one problem that has bugged me on both accounts. If I upgrade something then log off. (Which I do a lot because that’s the last thing I usually do) when I log back on a day later the thing I upgraded hasn’t even started and the resources I used are gone. I would like to see the ability to work on building more than just 1 object at a time. This game like all super cell games require time constraints to complete the building process. However every time supercell updates-any of their games I can not apply the update. When you select the update button from the game or go to the apple apps icon the only button to select is the open button. This does NOT provide you with a new updated version. ✓ GOOD BUT BADOverall I started this game 3 weeks ago, the game itself is really fun and addicting, there are no annoying ads or stupid glitches. Overall really good game and interesting. Also I love how you decide the strategy’s you do to win battles. However there are some thing that make the game a bit worse, the building and upgrading times are really long, even on low lever buildings the time takes too long, for example to upgrade to level 3 wood storage I had to wait 45 mins which is unnecessarily long on low level. Also the fact that there are only one set of builders, this also slows the game play down as makes it worse experience as you can’t play the game without having to wait for soo long, also it’s annoying as you can’t upgrade as quickly, I think that if you add more builders or even that you can employ people to become builders it would boost the game experience dramatically..Version: 44.222

✓ Brilliant game BUT...This game is fantastic. I have progressed reasonably far and am comfortable with my tf. Almost everything about this game is perfect. However, there are some minor issues that should be fixed. The first one is the price of zookas. If you can get 13 on max level boats they shouldn't cost to much? No, but they cost 3 gems for every 1 zook. This means at my level, where I can fit 10 zooks, I am having to pay 130 gems to quickly get my boats filled up. As a f2p player this is a pain. One other issue is warships. Especially this season, we have been given crooners to start with, and they do very little damage and have little health, not allowing lower+level players to progress through the ranks. ✓ Good game but...First of all let’s say one thing. This game is absolutely amazing, it keeps you entertained for hours at a time. Only downside is it never saves my progress when I delete it; I have had to restart 4 time s even though the game has told me (before I deleted it) that my progress would be saved. ✓ Fix warshipsThe newest warships update that changed how you get chests, 8 engines makes it impossible when you get far in the tech tree, whats worse is even when i retreat straight away, half the time whoever is attacking me takes ages trying to plan out an attack, they don’t manage to destroy and engines and win by default. They don’t even get close to a chest because only 1 engine was destroyed, i had to wait ages to attack again and now 90% of my attacks are like that, please change it back to 3 stars/wins, not 8 impossible engines.Version: 37.104

✓ I love thisI only got this lat weekend and being a clasher I didn’t think I would like it too much but after three days I love this game. I like how different yet the same it is with clash of clans and it has lots of cute aspects. The only problem is very minor and actually kind of good. I can never run out of gold. I think that there is not enough places to use gold. My residencies are all full, my one and only storage is full, and my merchant boat is full too. Also we need at least ONE more builder guy people. It takes too long to upgrade my sniper tower and landing boat even though it take an hour max (so far) because I can run only one building project at once. Over all I like the game though and its slightly challenging levels. They look easy and then you loose and you’re like “dang thats how i screwed up” so you really have to plan your attacks before you actually attack(unlike CoC where you can usually change the battle in the midst of it). ✓ Fun but need some helpI personally love this game. I’m pretty much fine with the time it takes to do things, I don’t care. But, there is a few major problems. One, you should be able to build more then one thing at once. Like I said, I’m fine with the time, but it would be better with building more then one without having to buy extra builders. My last problem is the amount you lose if your base is raided. I don’t have that problem any more but I did when I was bad at the game. It is super annoying. One night you are super close to being able to build something big, next day, you are back at the bottom. I’m the amount that the person who raids you lessens, just the amount you lose lessens. I don’t have that problem but people who are not so good do. Those are my only 2 problems. Overall, this is my favorite super cell game and I love it very much. ✓ Battle ships is great, but...Love the game, started playing the battle ships and it is very addictive, I really like it. Only thing I’m finding spoils it is being able to use artillery on the generators. I’ve reached level 10-11 and it seems to be an overwhelming tactic to just use artillery to knock out generators to win game really quickly, the only way to compete is to do the same thing but this makes it really boring, and somewhat unfair on the unsuspecting. I think the generators should be immune to artillery so you need to take them out with ground troops to keep the game interesting..Version: 37.104
✓ Very fun, but needs these thingsThis game is very fun (haven't spent a dime on it either) and within a few months I managed to reach level 22. Now, I do have a couple complaints that I think the dev team needs to fix. First and foremost is the matchmaking and league system. You can't put level 30+ on a level 20 something player's Archipelago expecting them to be able to beat this level 30 or 40 player opposing them. At one point I had a level 57 on my map and was furious. Thinking "Well they are the same rank as you, so they'll be put here because we want them to be put here." My second suggestion is to add a "revenge" option and go on a retaliatory strike against whomever raided you. Finally, please please PLEASE nerf (or tone damage down, for those noobs reading this for tips) the DPS (Damage Per Second for the noobs) of the Machine Gun. It gets a bit hard to kill off enemy buildings when you have a level 5 MG taking down level 3 warriors..Version: 33.114

✓ Great strategy gameI gave it five stars because it is fun and great game play. However there are somethings I don’t particularly like. Currently I am level 47 in the game. All of the possible missions, opponents, and side missions are set at levels between 55-65. It forces you to spend real money to upgrade or spend weeks building up your strength for offense and defense. Once you clear out the map, they refresh it again and adjust everything 15+ levels off of you. I am always up for a challenge and don’t want it easy. With how the game works though, 15+ levels off of you there is no chance. The enemy bases are one-shot-one-kill with your troops. The game barely tips the scales to be pay to play side. Still great though if you play it for free through and through. Just don’t expect to mow bases down and put a lot of time into it to get anywhere. Oh heads up, if you are building up resources the free and long way to upgrade... Someone will attack you and steal majority of your stuff. It will happen. Good luck!.Version: 34.181

✓ Titan JohnThe most addictive game I've played. The time I've invested in growing bases and the army means Ive made a commitment that is hard to walk away from. I get to know the attack styles of those I compete against for resource bases and those in the task force attacks and I enjoy reading the task force comments. The most annoying thing has been occasions of continual attacks making it hard to get resources needed. I almost gave up on the game when that happened over a period of weeks but it is not a problem now..Version: 31.146
✓ Know how to play!I have two accounts one is around 5 years old the other 2. I’ve been a regular everyday player in all that time and I have to say that generally speaking I love the game. But you have to know how to play it without spending cash. I’ve spent a fair bit in the total time I’ve been playing but nothing in recent times. I use my maxed account to collect diamonds and spend them in the Mega Crab to boost through to trophy levels or a little in warships to close out a war chest. Reviewers need to remember that this game is fundamentally a commercial operation and if you can’t enjoy it without spending more money than you are happy to then frankly you’re just not good enough at it or you expect too much from it. Having said that the game is probably nearing its day commercially unless they reboot the main Island gameplay. It’s been fun..Version: 38.105
✓ Awesome.I’ve played this game from when it first came out and it’s still as fun then as it is now. Keeps your mind ticking and always trying to find the perfect defence. Don’t have to pay to play. I haven’t bought anything for years. Just be patient and it’ll all come to you eventually. There’s room for the pay to play people but unlike say, someone who pays very rarely and enjoys the game as it is. The best thing about it is there’s no big alliances hitting you and no fear of putting shields up like Mobile Strike. Which is, I feel, for pro players. Why didn’t it instantly finish… does this only work the minute you start upgrading a building. This is just dumb. Or does it only work on defense buildings and not storage buildings. It should work on all buildings and should be able to be used at anytime. I think it’s time to update and fix this problem. Also what about watching enemy attacks in warships after we backed out of first screen from finishing battle. This only works once I’ve completed battle and there still going. If I’m on main screen waiting for battle to complete, I should be able to view enemy battle from main screen….Version: 47.156
✓ BrilliantGreat game love warships as it’s so much easier to earn gems now. Long time fan I still think I remember the first mega crab and the release of heroes. I have some suggestions for it though, can you make it so dr kavan follows your troops at the start of battles many a time have I placed all my troops on mega crab and dr kavan only follows them once they are In range if the mortars (high level infantry and heavy load out so this is really annoying) and since I use ice shield I have to activate it right at the start of the battle and by the time my troops reach any heavily defended areas the duration has run out. Please can you fix this. Also can you make the insta troop training a bit cheaper for warships it’s a recurring problem that I run out of troops and don’t want to spend any diamonds on them..Version: 43.87

Most of the items and concepts have their own uses, but it seems like there are also things that do not seem to have any use after a few days at most. For example, in order to make statues worth playing, is it possible to have like an upgrade function with higher gems etc but with a chance of fail? Warships added some content for late game players that pretty much got bored only logging on and clearing their maps. But I must say this current season of warships has never made me want to delete the game so much. Tier one gets rifleman and flare and warriors against their number one enemy the machine gun turret. Who ever thought about the combo this season is a moron. The AI takes a bit of getting used to but you build up your troops and home base you go along. The pure variety of the bases built by others makes this a puzzle game too. Use different combinations of troops and ‘heroes’ to battle other islands. ✓ Good but.....It's a good combat game, but the restrictions both on building and upgrading etc of base and troops is what is slowing things down. Plus gaining gems needs to increase in frequency, not everyone can afford or have the means to make in app purchases. Time scales need reducing dramatically, quantity of building and reinforcements etc should increase. That said it's an interesting and engaging strategy game. Maybe have more interactive control of the troops to move them into positions harder for the base being attacked to defend or so that the troops aren't in full range of the defences. ✓ Greatest game everI love this game and I’m very addicted to it. I play warships everyday mostly. Here’s a problem I found though. I would destroy all the engines, then my opponent would right afterwards. Then it says sometimes that HE or SHE beat me first. ✓ It’s good. But..Boom Beach is a pleasant mixture of story, farming, and strategizing. Each base you encounter is unique in its own individual way, so you may have to use specific troops, items, or artillery. Just deploying your troops requires clever thinking because you will also need to be able to strategize how to make the gunboat energy be used effectively and efficiently. However, even though this game has many other contents as well, there isn’t really much to do after the post-game except for be challenged by events, or raid other bases. Also, the game is alright at first, but then the wait times for your upgrades become massively long. I’m willing to bet some people even uninstalled the game because of this, and I am not a fan of this waiting time, either. This is especially boring in the beginning of the game, when you have to wait an hour or 2 for most upgrades, and you don’t have a very high level radar, so there’s nothing to do but sit and wait for Blackguard Invasion on an Island you probably already conquered. Plus, sometimes you get player bases, which is good. But there is one problem with this: usually the players you get have a higher level than you do. Recently for the past few weeks I have been having trouble with the in-app purchases. They make the make free to encourage people to buy the in-app purchases. ✓ SuggestionsI have been playing this game for years, and it’s still really fun. I think this game is unique in its mechanics and activities. But, I do have some suggestions. One thing I have noticed is that the building process is very long-winded for higher level upgrades. I suggest implementing something similar to the Clock Tower in Clash of Clans, just a way to speed things up. Maybe there can be something where you can spend (a lot of) gold along with the resources for the Upgrade/Construction. The Builders can work faster to earn the gold you spent on the upgrade, and working faster means they finish faster. Spending gold on upgrades could be optional, since you might need to save for something else. The cost could be similar to Armory upgrade costs. Also there are not enough builders, but you dont really get the chance to make enought supplies anyways so that doesnt really matter. Sometimes i find myself really wanting to play but i cant because i cant attack bases that are 10 levels higher than me, there defences are far too strong for my attack, this in turn means i actually lose more than i gain in terms of coins. ✓ Much better than I expected.2023: Still like it, still play it regularly, although I have retired my max account and only play a lower level one, more interesting. One complaint, *the grey upgrade arrows are a really bad idea!*. Almost half of all men are at least partially colorblind, and green looks like grey. Way too hard to tell which buildings are available for upgrade. Either make it a very different contrast, or remove it. Review from 2016: I still really like it, still a game that I can play several times a day or go several days without playing. I am now level 49, have never paid a penny (sorry, Supercell). I see negative reviews, and I don't understand them. If you want to level up more quickly, pay - it's not much in the greater scheme of things. ✓ Glitch or issue?New update is amazing, love the game. Unfortunately idk if it’s a glitch but it needs to be fixed ASAP. I have been playing the warship since it came out. Just recently when I hit lvl 11, I used all my zooka’s and heavy’s. When I logged back on to use my troops and start attacking again, none of my troops were trained and said they would take 41 days too train... so I thought it’d just be a glitch. I logged back on a few hours later, and this time it said 413 days and 20 hours. I can no longer use those troops and have waited a whole day. Now I can no longer play as when I go to attack people win a lot faster as I use slow troops. Now I’m back in 10th place and can not attack anymore otherwise I will lose more battles. ✓ Beautiful game.I’ve been playing Boom Beach for over 8 years now. I can’t really believe that a game can offer so much to keep you interested for this length of time, but it really does. I’ve had 2 maxed accounts and a few others too. With experience, this game has something new to offer every time you start over. ✓ Boom!I love boom beach for a couple of reasons... 1) You have 2 options to play the completionist the first option is where you upgrade your HQ then upgrade important stuff like landing crafts, radar, armoury etc. because if you upgrade stuff you get tokens to level up and that certain level upgrades you HQ that unlocks new stuff. The second option is where you upgrade everything that you can upgrade then upgrade you HQ then repeat, I find that it’s less stressful than the first option and it’s easier to 100% complete the game. The only problem is it takes time to upgrade buildings. 2) The aura is awesome it’s where it’s Viking times but it has tanks but the radar shows the map which is called the archipelago so military mixed with vikings which I find awesome. 3) The statues are really cool I hav I can’t think of anymore but if you want to complete a game this is going to take you years I’ve been on and off this game for ages my 2nd option to play is where I can keep it up and I am loving it so much!.Version: 43.72
✓ Great game but...Boom beach is sort of like a modernised version of clash of clans, which I think is kind of cool. But when I look at the top players, their bases look like a random jumble of buildings. It would be the same with CoC if there were no walls. I think that something should be added that pulls all the defences together like glue. A couple of possible ideas could be low sandbag walls, ditches or barbed wire fences to hold everything together. I also seem to have a lot of gold but not a lot to spend it on so it would help if some buildings or building upgrades would cost gold instead of wood or maybe even a little bit of both. ✓ One major recurring problemI love this game and it’s a great time killer. However one thing that needs to be addressed is the battleships. I’ve done every battleship season and it’s always a certain problem that keeps happening. That problem is I keep losing even when I beat the enemy first. For example you invade the enemy’s ship and destroy there generators and defenses along way if they try to stop you. I sometimes manage to destroy all the defenses and the generators before the enemy destroys mine. I do it quicker than by seconds and sometimes a whole minute. So that’s a win right? Nope they give the win to the enemy who finished way after me even though I destroyed there’s first. I destroyed there generators and defenses before they destroy mine but they get the win and I get the loss. It happens more and more frequently. ✓ About warshipsMost funnest game ever but maybe needs a few improvements because when you’re able to do warships and your opponent finishes your base at the same time as you beat theirs it normally says a completely different time than what you or your opponent did it at. I don’t really think you need the tribes or diamonds. I also think mechs are just a waste of time, they take forever to beat something just like tanks. Tanks have three seconds before each shot and do very little damage. You should get some troops like scorchers at HQ level thirteen. First, I would like if you would also include the mega turtle in the monthly mega crab event. It would be cool to have a longer event where the first half is attacking the mega crab and then the second half is attacking the mega turtle. It could add a cool story to the game where Dr. T and Hammerman could be competing as to which takes less damage. My second suggestion is to add two new buildings into the game similar to the prototype lab. The first would allow you to make prototroops and the second would allow you to make the limited time gunboat abilities. The balancing would be that the prototroops and gunboat abilities would be very expensive and you could only have one prototroop and gunboat ability at a time. ✓ Great game if......I love boom beach and it’s a great game if your willing to spend a couple of dollars here and there, if your not then it’s basically just a game of waiting. You only have one builder and if you want more you have to hire them for a monthly fee, and then you’ll only get to use it half of the time because you don’t have enough resources. Also in warships I don’t like how they cap your progress if your lower headquarters level as a lot of lower level people like to have the chance to be on the leaderboard for something. ✓ Great game, but a few suggestionsOk I’ve played this game for several years now and although it takes a long time to upgrade things, that’s alright, I’m a patient guy (also for all you complainers it’s better to have upgrades to work for than upgrade everything fast and not have anything to do). Overall great game and the mega crabs are really fun. However, there are a few suggestions I have to make it better. The main one is to rework the functionality of the statue storage. (K great. I already have the statues I want, so now I’ll just store some for fun). Instead of this, there should be an option to swap current statues with statues in the storage to customize your boosts based on circumstances. I’ve waited a long time for this to happen but I guess people didn’t bother you about it much? Secondly, I think task force v task force would be a nice addition, like a clan war, and I feel like tons of people have said this. Thirdly (and sort of minor, bc it’s still so new) I think it should be a little easier to get resources in warships, because people can get stuck unable to win anything. ✓ Ideas and worth your timeFirst off, this in my opinion is a masterpiece as there are no ads and it’s free to play (unless you are impatient) and it feels rewarding. I particularly like warships as it gives you extra things to do. The lower star reviews say warships is rubbish, but I only started around two months ago by the time I write this, and warships is fair as it groups you up with similar players. It’s a beautiful game that’s is super fun! But the next section is for supercell really. I have a few ideas for the game that might make it better, hopefully it is not too problematic. ✓ WARSHIPSThe new warships are an AMAZING idea but supercell just missed the mark. Unfortunately, unlike everyone had hoped for, warships favours pay to win players. Now it is true that there is definitely only so far a pay to win player can get with skill level but for free 2 play that is simply not the case. The pay to win players purchase the monthly subscription of instant troop training, this includes warships. Therefore they can attack in warships battles non stop. Attack after attack, ranking up through the tiers fast. The training times in warships are absurdly slow. If I use a basic HOOKA strategy and my army dies, my zookas won’t be trained for another 3.5 HOURS! This is absolutely ridiculous. I either have to wait for extremely long, or spend 100 diamonds on finishing an attack that I might not even win! This is so dissapointing because warships is so fun and the concept is absolutely amazing. The pay to win players get endless fun, but the free to play players must wait usually more than an hour before the can have fun again. The only suggestion I have is to SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the training times in warships, or rework how the training is done..Version: 37.81

By this I mean there is something else to grind now, it’s a great addition to the game and I think warships can go a long way. But... ✓ Boom The BeachBoom Beach is one of those lesser talked about video games which really exceeds everyone’s (well at least mine) expectations. Boom Beach is a very rare Gucci mobile strategy which hasn’t been abandoned for any reasons. They don’t use pop-up ads, purchases are optional, not to mention the fact that it’s a kids mobile game made to look like the 1940s to Cold War era! 👍 I could go on about the graphics to the amount of detail and the use of strategy, but then a review isn’t a review without any cons or issues. First of all, the Warships engine room meter sometimes malfunctions, displaying that I’ve beat the other player when I haven’t which can really demolish your hopes. Second, the AI is pretty bad. Riflemen will charge towards defenses behind the front line (and other defenses), medics and Dr. Kavan frantically try to aid troops with little damage while others are getting killed or injured. Lastly, some players just decide to barrage the engine rooms at the beginning of the game which ruins the experience, and sometimes if I cancel a Warships game, it will just send me into a round. I assume the developers have totally lost the plot.
