✓ Wifi Pause Status BrokenWe have 7 schedules with 20+ devices setup in the app. They all seem to be working and pausing the internet at the appropriate times (good) but the app always now says they are not paused (bad). It's very hard to know if the schedules are actually working without checking all the devices which is impractical. Also it would be great if I could temporarily enable the internet for a device that would stay in effect until the next schedule change. Currently I have to disable the schedule or remove the label from the schedule to create an exception and unfortunately these changes are permanent and I have to remember to restore them later. Temporary exceptions for a specific device would solve most of these issues..Version: 2.9.14
✓ Simple setup, high speeds!I was able to setup a mesh network with three nodes in about 15 minutes. It’s literally 30 times faster than the prior network! What’s not to like?!? Working well in a 3 story house in every room. 67 mbit down, 5 up on 100/5 cable modem connection. I haven’t put the modem into bridge mode yet, so I suspect the double NAT is limiting my top speed. It was 2 mbits before over WiFi, so this isn’t an urgent worry for me. On the whole I’m very happy with this setup..Version: 2.6.0

✓ FantasticWell I downloaded this when I got the google Wi-Fi, the google Wifi is fantastic but while the app is fantastic aswell but it can’t be tricky to navigate though and find things. I’m getting use to the app and enjoying using..Version: 2.9.14
✓ First Time UserWhen I first tried to set up the Google Wi-Fi I downloaded inadvertently the wrong app. I thought it was the right one since the search brought it up first not realizing I needed to go through the rest of the apps to find the correct one. I’m pretty much a novice when it comes to something like this. The support person that I was able to get a hold of had no idea what I was trying to do since it was not the app for Google Wi-Fi. He was patient but was not able to help because I could not get the Google Wifi app to install. I reconnected my old router downloaded the correct app and installed it very easily. It was a breeze. The only problem I have is trying to watch Live stream which our church broadcasts their services through. I’m not sure what’s happening. It just keeps refreshing the first 15 to 20 seconds of the feed over and over again. I am able to watch it without any problem using the iPad. So far that is the only issue I’ve had. There are three Wi-Fi points with 11 devices connected. Cary was the support person and he did a great job and was very patient with me..Version: 2.6.0
✓ Great simple app that just works.There are a few reviews on here expecting enterprise level features at consumer prices. The app works great, but unfortunately Google is moving the setup/control into the Home app which is extremely unfortunate. The Google WiFi app is simple and easy for less technical people to use. The Google Home app is unfortunately not very intuitive and has WAY too much information in it. They really need to keep everything in this app instead..Version: 2.28
✓ Great, easy and convenient for ParentsLet's face it, there are lots of Parents who sit around on Friday evenings drinking Vodka and Sunny D because their spouses drank all the real orange juice. And, after a few Sunny D and Vodkas, lots of times that Parent will jump online to write a review or two. So, about this app, as we know, all Parents like to pretend that they are concerned about their kids screen time but in reality, they don't because the phone is like a freaking babysitter. I'm not one of those Parents, and I'm here to tell you that A) never mix Sunny D with anything, and B) this app will give you terrific control over your kids screen time. Pausing the internet is as easy as taping a button. You can also (sipping some vodka and sunny, hold on please).......... You can also schedule internet time so your 13 actually has to put the phone down. Get the app!.Version: 2.9.16
✓ Outstanding WiFi Performance, No IssuesIt’s a simple plug, setup, and play process. Also, these Wifi units are to do one job and one job only - provide WiFi coverage throughout an area. Nothing more, nothing less. I do not know why there are so many negative reviews on here; don’t bother listening to them! The app? It’s fine. Simple options, for a simple product. No need to alter, change and customize EVERYTHING for a process such as WiFi. I do NOT have crazy high speed connections or amazing WiFi service provider. I’m on a basic plan with AT&T, in a basic 2300 sq ft 2 story home, and google WiFi has given me no issues whatsoever. I give this a perfect 5/5.Version: 2.9.14
✓ Google WiFi has greatly improved our internet lifeI love how simple and easy this was to walk me through setting up the WiFi meshes. I doubted its ability to actually improve our internet but after running many tests it has undoubtedly improved our WiFi speed 7 times on a good day when compared to our old connection. Some rooms which were so shotty in the past now have amazing connection thanks to the meshes. As for the app. I love its ability to customize settings for the devices used, including prioritizing devices connection and testing individual speeds of all devices. One issue my MacBook always had was it kept telling me that another device kept occupying its IP. After painfully looking through Apple support and renewing the DHCP license constantly with no success I discovered I can give it a dedicated IP through the google WiFi device. Problem solved. ✓ Love it.Had for two months. Easy to set up and great basic feature set. Like that you can prioritize a device and I can use Ethernet with my desktop in the upstairs. Have a 2400 square foot house in the shape of an L. 2 access points downstairs and 1 upstairs. Get full signal now in every corner of the house. Look forward to adding an access point in the garage this summer to blanket the back yard in a signal. Very pleased with the app and device..Version: 2.9.10
✓ Xfinity NO ISSUESSo after reading some of the negative reviews I have to post a non biased opinion. I have had the Apple, Linksys and Net Gear products in the past and the Google system was the easiest by far! There is no need to go into settings to change anything it is straight forward and very user friendly. The waiting is a bit frustrating but what’s 3 min in the end? ✓ Great app but could use more featuresGoogle WiFi does the basics well. I get great internet coverage throughout my 2 story home. Full speeds over WiFi everywhere. The app is functional and I like that I’m able to see there overall activity on the network. It would be nice if Google would continue to develop the parental features to compete with service such as Circle by Disney. Some routers even had Circle built into it. ✓ An amazing app for an amazing productSetting up my Google WiFi 3 pack was so easy, plug it in, scan it, plug in the next one, scan it, and plug the last one in, scan it. And then you're all set. The app works even when you are away. And not to mention now my Xbox in my room can actually now get ok n a GTA lobby. I used to get horrible bandwidth from the router from the other side of the building but now I get all the Mbps I need through Google WiFi and a better connection..Version: 2.9.10

✓ AmazingI did a fair amount of research about devices like these prior to settling on the Google WiFi and I can say it exceeded my expectations. The reviews I read seemed to all concede that the mesh devices available on the market are all pretty solid but Google hit the nail on the head due to ease of setup. I made a mistake by placing one of the access points just a bit too far from the base station which made the app kind of wig out. Once I fixed my mistake and went back into setup it took all of 10 minutes to set up three. Setup is rather generous because you don’t really have to do anything you just keep clicking next and the app sets it all up for you. Anyone in a large home, or a moderate sized older home with tons of walls like myself, should get this. It’s truly an amazing product..Version: 2.9.7
✓ Full Bar BreezeIt’s the best internet we have ever had in our 2,200 square feet three story home. Everywhere has full bars and it was so easy to create a new network. I think it took about five minutes and I have no network experience whatsoever. I’m so glad we bought this WiFi system! Next is the netgear gig modem. ✓ Simple to UseProbably was the easiest process setting up a router. While it might not allow every intricate setting on the router like going through page after page on a standard router with a web server, this allows 99% of users to setup a mesh network in just minutes. ✓ Add “New Device Connected” notificationPlease make the app send me a notification that a new device was added to my network. Then, I can instantly be aware of the new device and use my Google WiFi controls to shut down the device immediately or authorize it. I discovered that a family member has been circumventing my screen time and internet control measures by adding a different device, a Nintendo DS, to my WiFi. If I had been notified that a new device was connected or added to my network, that would have caused me to find out about it and take immediate action. My WiFi is password protected, the main network account and the guest account. But password protection does not help with notifying me when my family member decides to connect a different and unknown device to my network without my knowledge or permission..Version: 2.21

✓ FantasticAt first I was a little put off, one of my hubs kept disconnecting and iduave to reboot the whole system to get it back online. I did a little googling and found out that I had set up the routers incorrectly and that ideally my main router needed to be In the centre of the house once I’d changed my set up I have had Zero issues with the network. I'm a UK vigin customer and the V3 hub is awful for signal, I’m in a 3 story home and the connection in the attic was poor, now my connection is fantastic all around the house I haven’t had to reboot the router at all since I’ve set it up. The app was a little outdated but it now supports the iPhone X display other than that you can’t fault the set up. I think lots of the reviews are either from fanboys or people that don’t know what they are talking about Google’s support through the app was only second to Apples within a minute I was talking to someone about my set up and they helped loads with it. So overall if you want to get a mesh network I’d highly recommend the google Wifi set up.Version: 2.9.7
✓ Replaced Orbi mesh (base plus 2 sat) with google (base plus 3 sat)So our home is three levels on a steep hillside to give you an idea. Originally we operated with Apple AirPort Extreme (last version) on second level plus a 4th gen airport time capsule on the first floor network connected to the extreme. Unfortunately this was not an ideal solution and with apple exiting the product line we looked for the best alternative. Reviews directed us to orbi. We ran with the orbi solution for over three months. Almost daily failures/issues. Horrible tech assistance. Decided that we would ditch the orbi and replace with google. Wow, what a difference. Not one single issue. Provides consistent service throughout the house and even outside. No issues with neighboring WiFi systems affecting our system. I tried Orbi too but it was bulky & didn’t do what it was supposed to Google WiFi has these beautiful little pods with zen like lights that couldn’t be simpler to set up! ✓ Please updatePlease add support for iPhone X. I have to use your application multiple times a day, at this point I'm very sad every time I open it and have to look at wasted real estate. It took more than Ten years to get rid of Two, One centimeter tall bars. It shouldn't take more than a week to fill all these beautiful new pixels that we have worked so long to achieve. I completely understand that making iPhones look better is low on the priority list here, but I'm begging. If that's too much to ask, it's ok, but I at least need a few more administrative controls over my network. ✓ Hub Crash and Solid Customer ServiceNever had an issue until for the last month we had issues. It's an amazing mesh system. Used the support care messaging and they fixed the problem ASAP.
