✓ Good game, when you can play itWhen I first installed this game, it was amazing. I was addicted, tried to play all the people in the world & it was great fun... but I have just been on there again, & it has been overtaken by adverts. Genuinely, after every single game, there is an advert pop up & when you consider that each game only lasts about 1 min tops, that's a lot of adverts!! Also, since then, it has started crashing regularly which is just annoying. Considering just deleting it now it seems to have gone to pot. :( it's a shame because it was a fun game! I also dislike the way you can be doing so well only to lose on the last roll, I agree with others below... all make good points..you have to have extra dice or you will barely get 5 of a kind. ✓ Typical scopely productFirstly, the game itself, being a yatzhee ripoff, was fine. The whole Ellen spin didn't really add too much, but there were some nice little additions to keep you hooked for a little longer. The main issue is that the app crashes constantly. It takes forever to load only to bomb again. Also, why a dice game should drain your battery so much is beyond me. ✓ No longer fun to playDice with Ellen is the only game I play. However the game is no longer fun! There has been no specials to purchase tokens. There has been no special dice to purchase. And it is virtually impossible to earn enough xp points to move up a level even when you are playing over 100 games at a time. Also there has not been any special tournaments in quite some time. The game has just become boring. Not to mention you have to earn over 25k points in a week to get the dice of the week. The game is now a joke to play. ✓ Could be More FUN but FrustratingWhenever you get to a point where you play someone on Ellen’s team, you get manipulated out of your dice skills! Every time it throws you get something crappy and you can’t beat them. Makes me delete the game for a while. I open it back up when I’m bored. Time again to delete for a while. I wish it weren’t so fixed! And I would think as well being a Ellen game, you wouldn’t have to waste your hard earned money on extra dice that the game is rigged to make you play. ✓ Very sad about new versionI loved this app before last week! I used to played many times a day. The new version they forced us into is awful. I’m a pretty open minded person and want to give it a try but it’s just so awful, I’m done with it already. Why is Ellen’s name on it? She’s disappeared from the game. It’s totally junky with too much going on and it looks like a child’s game. Is there any chance we can get the previous version back? Yuck!!! It takes too long to play a turn now and heaven forbid you get to the end of a game, you have to tap 3-4 more screens that slowly pop up to start a new one. ✓ PLEASE FIX IT!!!I LOVE this game, BUT it needs major fixing. It freezes all the time!!! It gets really annoying when you have to completely close the app and reopen it after one or two plays when you have a lot of games going. The scratchers are a complete joke. I saved up about 15 scratchers one time and only won 2 dice rolls. I guess Ellen wants you to pay for more! (Thumbs down). I also use to get notifications when games were ready to play, but that has stopped. I thought it was my phone, but from the reviews I've read it's happening to others. ✓ DwhiteI have the same exact issue. Blue screen with Ellen and dice comes up. Music plays. Then a scratching noise starts and app closes. I’ve contacted support. And have gotten a few responses. I continue to say the same exact thing. And I just keep getting questions that I have already answered. I have asked if I signed in with Facebook could I delete the app and reload it and not lose all my progress. The warning box states I will lose all data if I delete the app. But I have had no response to that. I was really enjoying the game. It’s a shame that it can’t just be fixed. And I certainly won’t be purchasing anything knowing I could end up losing everything because the app acts like this. ✓ Allows cheating.This game allows cheating and does nothing about it. I’ve won multiple rounds in a tournament against a particular player and I play for 5x the prize, yet when I win and they lose, this players score is going up 5x too. I tried to report them from in the tournament and it says that sorry it’s not working right now. I’ve sent support multiple messages and they do nothing to fix it. ✓ Crashes all the timeThis app crashes all the time. It takes forever to load and once it loads, then it crashes. All the dang time it crashes. Then let’s talk about the whole scratchers nonsense. You have a better chance of winning the lottery than you have a chance of winning 5 bonus rolls on this app. Seriously. It’s freaking pathetic. Let’s focus on “Average Andy.” You will never beat him. ✓ Fun game lots of glitches!I will start with the good. It is a very fun game (when it works)! I like the Weekly Challenge, You're Welcome Wednesday, Ellen's Squad, and Ellen's Lucky Dice. There are many things that I don't like. The game crashes A LOT!! It crashes when you play Ellen's Squad, when a player challenges you, when an ad come up, and when you watch ads to earn dice. It is so FRUSTRATING! The Daily Tournaments are impossible to win and so are the custom dice games. I would like to use my diamonds to purchase more dice and frames. Also, I play with white dice at the beginning of most games. The developers must know these things are happening! For the life of me, I don't know why they do not fix it in an update!! Please do something!! Update: No more You’re Welcome Wednesdays, no new dice to purchase, the Weekly Challenge went from 11,000 points to 25,000 to win new dice, Ellen’s Squad has not changed it prizes, no new daily competitions. First, the game uses a lot of your data plan, it freezes often, and whenever I go into the game takes 30 seconds to load up. Your scores, trophies and leaderboards are non existent, game lures you to sign up with Facebook so you can have your own profile picture, but that doesn’t work either- it’s still in development they say. Game freezes after the Ads, you have to restart it. The “contact us” inquiry responds really quickly and so professionally and polite. Unfortunately they never fix anything but do thank you for your patience. It’s a shame, if it worked the way it’s stated on their site, I’d give them 5 stars and buy the Ad free version..Version: 5.3.0

✓ DisappointedThere should be a forfeit button for those games that are impossible to win instead of wasting player's time. It also stinks that Andy and the rest of Ellen's crew very often get 5 of a kind and multiple times per game whereas "real" players might get 1 every 3-4 games and 2 maybe every 10-15. ✓ Glitchy!I loved this game when I first started playing earlier this year. Now it seems the only way I can actually move from game to game without it being sluggish is to go to data on my phone...apparently you need a hella strong WiFi connection. Which we have a gigabit connection and that’s not fast enough. It drains my battery like crazy (at least 15-20% in a 15 minute period) and no other app does that on my phone (drains more on cell data). I finally beat Football Andy, but not hockey because he gets at least 4-5 5x dice each time. It was fun but now I find it a waste of time since it seems you spend more time waiting for the games to open than actually rolling against your opponent. I have played Ellen 7 days in a row and still didn't win plus you can only play a staff member once in a day. Andy Lassner is impossible to beat. Some days you can't even get three of a kind never mind a Palooza. It's not just me that has this complaint. There is no way I can spend enough time on this game to get new dice. I have a ton of diamonds but nothing decent to buy in the dice choices. The game crashes far too often. Beating the Ellen squad takes 2 to 3 weeks sometimes. ✓ Dice ripoffI have a vision disability and need to be able to see the numbers on the dice. I have a complaint. It’s something that has been bothering me for a long time and before I complain about it on the App Store, I want to make sure I’m not doing something wrong. I spend a lot of money on here, probably at this point over $1000. I work mostly to collect fun dice. Many of them hurt my eyes or make it unclear to me what the number is because I have vision problems, so once I “win” them, they are basically trash to me. Then, I work hard again to try to collect enough tokens to “buy” another set of dice. It’s super disappointing to then win either the same set of crappy dice, or just as bad, another set of dice that are unusable to me. Then I play opposite players who aren’t anywhere near my level of the game and they have great dice that I’ve never even seen before. Fun, beautiful dice with clear numbers or a clear way of seeing the numbers. I feel strongly that when you work hard to get those tokens, you should be able to select among the eight or so dice within the theme of the month..Version: 8.2.2
✓ Worst update everThe App hasn’t work since I was forced to update it. And everything I’ve read says deleting the App deletes all of your saved progress...I tried downloading it new to my iPad, which worked but the new interface is terrible. There’s waaay to much going on (especially the click bait/ads) that it’s hard to tell how to just play a simple game. Plus there’s no more Ellen. ✓ Love this dice game (Yahtzee) but problems with crashing.I get maybe 5, 10 minutes of play, but often less, sometimes only a couple of taps, before it crashes. By this I mean it goes back to the desktop on my iPad Air, and I have to wait 1.5 minutes or more for it to reload, only for it to happen again in a minute or two. I wrote to them about this and all they said was 'try using another network', well I did try it on a friends network different to mine, and it made no difference. This is not a practical solution anyway. Please fix the problems that obviously are not just occurring to me. Others have said the ads are a problem, well mine just crashes when an ad starts. It crashes when I try to play Ellen's crew, and whenever it likes basically. ✓ Scopely, surely you can do betterThe challenges never change; the events are rigged so are the scratchers. The scratchers are a joke . You rarely win 1 bonus roll much less any more than that. If you would increase the bonus rolls you can win then more people would play. I loved the game when I got it but now I only play when I have nothing better to do. The Tournaments/fast play are fun but not if you can’t play without ever earning any bonus rolls. If you win a level in events you should get to move on and not have to wait. ✓ Fun but resource heavyI really enjoy this game, but much like its original, unbranded version, it is very resource heavy. I have a brand new iPhone11 and in 5 minutes of gameplay, my phone is burning up and my battery is depleting quickly. I even tried turning off notifications but it’s still doing that. However as far as gameplay, there are plenty of mini games and tournaments and things to collect, which makes it fun. The other thing is I buy upgrades in games but not this one. Too much money for little value. Ads are excessive and long, draining battery more. I would pay for a no-ads pass monthly if offered. I like the Match of the Day feature and it usually works. I cannot get my frame to stick when I change it. The scratchers are a great idea but have a terrible payout. It used to feature actual people in Ellen’s life. Now, it’s full of D-level looking cartoons. The game features Ellen less and less with each update. One thing I’ve enjoyed about the game is the larger amount of tournaments, sub games, and rewards. I love having ways to play while waiting on players to take their turns. The worst thing about the app now is the ads. There are ads every two turns that you take. The same ads over and over. It makes me want to delete the game immediately. No app (especially with the expected frequent game play) should have this many ads at one time. I don’t mind ads, but they need to be less frequent. The tournament has players with astronomical totals you can only beat them by buying lots of bonus rolls. I play against many people and click around pretty fast, I have unintentionally clicked the "Do-over 5 Dice" button several times. Can it confirm with us that we want to do that before erasing our current dice and charging the 5 dice? I know some people would not like that feature so it could be an optional setting to turn on. ✓ Customer support?When I tried to get customer support, via App Store the links goes to scrabble contacts. I have an issue with Ellen Dice, I’ve been playing and invited friends through Facebook, but although I’ve started playing with friends I invited, I never got credit or bonuses. the link on the app say 0/30 invited, but I’m playing with at least 3 personal friends from Facebook.... Makes me think that there’s not much upkeep going on with this app, except to collect my money for dice that I keep buying at 4.99 a batch or more.
