✓ AwfulIt’s amazing that a game can be this bad. After formally getting passed the beginning and getting into the groove of the game. I come across a tree with fruit on it, and the game asks me if I would like to have my Magikarp jump to get some fruit. I select yes because yeah sure why not, and a Pidgey flies by and takes me magikarp. I’m then presented with my character walking away sadly before a “Final Score” screen comes up saying “it was nice knowing your magikarp. That’s right. I got a Game Over screen for absent mindedly hitting “Yes”. It’s amazing too, because the game had never in anyway mentioned or hinted at this being a possibility. I didn’t even know you could lose your magikarp, let alone like that. So if you want to grind through a boring monetization-focused free-to-play game only to lose what little progress you’ve made over the course of several days, this game is for you..BlueBlood3Version: 1.3.61

✓ Ok but needs some workThis is a really fun game, I enjoyed playing it. It needs some more work though and and update because my Magikarp ,called Prakigam, was on level seventeen and the game glitched off and I had to start leveling her up again from level one. ✓ OkayIt was ok. I like the basic idea and all but I don’t like how you can lose your Magikarp. It would be amazing if you could battle the Pokémon that stole your Magikarp with the cheering Pokémon. It makes me really sad and stressed out that I’ll have to start all over again FOR THE FOURTH TIME. Also, it gets boring when your waiting for you to get coins, a league play and 3 training points. I wish there were mini games or something to keep a player occupied while their still hooked to the game. I like the game and how you can raise Magikarp though. I also want to customize the avatar and give them a name. I also would like it to be a little like a normal Pokémon game and for their to be a town or somewhere the player can go to and a place for the player to be able to join/connect with other players. You could add a feature where you could make a house and inventory for your Pokémon and stuff. ✓ Entertaining for all of 2 minutesAs others have said this is a procedural game with no skill required. It’s not tactical and it is very much driven with furtherance of micro transactions in mind. If the intended audience is an infant this might keep them quiet for a little while before they get bored. There’s no depth to this game it’s pretty two dimensional, you need keep paying or waiting a defined duration of time before items are unlocked for you to progress. ✓ The Ultimate Time BurnerDO NOT put money into this game. You can burn through it in its entirety in about 4 weeks without even thinking about it. This game is exactly what you think it is. It’s you, your Magikarps, and tapping food. That’s it. After you “battle” other trainers, which is just watching a cutscene, you know their “level” and there’s no point in facing them again until you pass their level. Pokémon fans will love all the little references to the series, but if you’re not into it already, don’t try to understand this game. Spoiler: there’s no pot of coins at the end of the rainbow in this one. No post-game. Would’ve been nice to have incorporated something like friend rankings. ✓ Horrible 'Random' TrainingThis game overall is very fun and addicting, it can get really repetitive however. The worst part about this game is the luck with training that I get. It 'randomly' generates what training event you are going to do since each event gives different "Jump Points". You unlock more events the further you level up. Well, I have 8 different training events unlocked and I get the very first one (Sandbag Slam) almost EVERY SINGLE TIME. I just did five training events in a row, and FOUR of them were Sandbag Slam! I'm level 42 in the game, so this event only awards about 11k - 25k JP which is almost NOTHING and it just feels like I can't even get anywhere! The developers really need to fix how "random" different events can be, because getting Sandbag Slam over and over again makes it impossible to level up my Magikarp!.John51825183Version: 1.3.5

✓ Fun at first, but gets repetitive and lacks contentWhen i first got the game, being a longtime pokémon fan, i was very excited to play a game focused around none other than Magikarp. If this game had other characters and was not a “pokemon” game, it would not have done nearly as well and I definitely wouldn’t have gotten it. Now after playing for a week, it has started to become very repetitive. When your magikaro reaches a certain level, you have to abandon it and start from scratch with a new magikarp. This function is extremely boring, and the fact that training magikarp requires no actual skill rather than a few clicks is absolutely absurd. I could compare this game to duck life, and i would rather play duck life. ✓ OK at first but..........if your not planning on spending any money on micro transactions, after a while the level grind becomes VERY tedious. Currently I’m at Trainer Level 16, and my max Magikarp level is 26. You can usually win one more battle in the league per level up. Which basically means that you pick it up, eat all of your food, collect all of your coins, do your training and the random encounters, then do your battle and random encounters. Generally you will level up once during this play session, twice if you’re lucky. You’ll progress one battle farther, maybe two. So it basically takes you WAY longer to beat leagues than it should. Also, the random encounters where you can lose your Magikarp are pointless. I played it the safe route every time. Also, evolving your Magikarp to the totally awesome Gyarados should be a GOOD thing, not a bad thing. I’m not saying you should get to play the game with your evolved Magikarp, but taking it for no reason/reward and making you start over feels harsh. While there is some fun to be had here, the potential is so much more that it feels like an unfinished game. In short, the game feels like it should be very casual, but it’s actually a hardcore level grind..TravmilVersion: 1.3.61
